Desiree: Oh, if only you would stop threatening to kill us all. *she shakes her head* As long as you are determined to slice us open with your sword, you need to stay here. *she reaches over to pat the top of his head* Sorry.
Jenna: *is flipping through another book when Kalysto enters the library. She then blinks and looks up at him* Hm?
Sephiros: You’re not my damn babysitter! I don’t need a personality adjustment and I don’t want one. *spits at her in disgust* You don’t command me. You don’t tell me how I should or shouldn’t be. As soon as I work out how to leave, I am going to raze this shit-hole to the ground!
Kalysto: Your book… what was that…?
Desiree: *Groans* See, that’s why I can’t let you out. *she shakes her head then pats the top of his head* I don’t know how you could be so much worse than Father… What happened to him that didn’t happen to you..?
Jenna: *blinks and holds up the book that she’s currently reading* A documented history on the culling of the dragon species? Rather boring and mostly some scribe whining.
Sephiros: I was raped by my own mother. *snarls* What do you think happened? Fuck off, girl! I don’t need you to tell me how to act, or how not to act. You’re playing God, aren’t you? There’s basic rights and rules that would make this illegal you know. I could snap your neck in two!
Kalysto: He’s probably old, then… *leans against the doorway, then slides down to sit on the floor*
Jenna: *speaks in a bored manner* Dead is more like it. *She snaps the book shut and tosses it behind her* It’s dribble anyway. *not paying much attention to what Kalysto is doing, she picks up another book, she then flips it open and begins to mutter to herself*
“Sant nín firn ne daw hen
Firith i nagnir dí…”*Groans and glares at the book* Another useless pile of poems. *she promptly tosses it to the side as well*
Desiree: *releases a deep sigh* You’ll be fine until tomorrow now. Start taking better care of yourself. *With that, she exits the room and moves back to her own room*
Sephiros: Go to hell. I would rather die than be held captive as your slave. From the arms of one tyrant to another, I say…
Kalysto:: Old people are like that… boring. And then dead… *moves to his feet again then wanders towards her* What are you looking for exactly…? If I could see properly, I might be able to help.
Jenna: Why must I be looking for anything specific? *She shakes her head* I look only for knowledge to expand my capabilities. I seek the location in which such knowledge is hidden. I quest for all time and eternity, for I have all time and eternity. *she closes her eyes* Whether I find it today or tomorrow or the day after that, it matters not. *She smirks and opens her eyes* The fun is in the quest itself, is it not?
Kalysto: No, not really. Just give it to me and be done with it… that’s what I have to say about the subject. *moves away from her and begins to look through the books, pondering the subjects* So… ah…
Jenna: *Groans and rubs at her forehead as her vision wavers for a moment. However, she quickly fights off the feeling then returns to grabbing books and reading through them. Unlike Desiree, Jenna is less than concerned about what the elf is doing and seems to be not paying attention to him at all*
Kalysto: *seems curious at Jenna’s behaviour and observes her for a few moments before turning away* Probably an obvious question. But, however. *picks up a book on dragons and begins to flip through* You don’t give a damn about my being here, do you?
Jenna: *turns her gaze to look at him for a moment. She then indifferently shrugs* You are not intending on killing me, and even if you were, you have not the power to take me down. Mortals come, mortals go. What they do with their time is of little concern to me. *she then glances at the book at she’s reading once more. Snorting with agitation, she tosses it behind her then lifts up her right hand. Soon enough, a book flies out of one of the shelves and slides into her elevated hand*
Kalysto: *frowns at Jenna, not liking the fact he’s being told that he’s inferior* So if you don’t care… *blinks, then shakes his head* Right. There’s nothing more to say then. *gently closes his book, then nods* Good day to you… *walks out of the library with his book, carrying it back to his room*
Jenna: *speaks up as Kalysto nears the doorway* Why did you come here? *she lifts her head to look directly at him* You did not come to ask questions such as whether or not I care whether you are around. So, what is it?
Kalysto: Oh, nothing. I already asked my first question… the rest wasn’t really important. I was just going to make the observation that you are not like your daughter at all. Nothing like her in fact. *stops* So which hybrid are you?
Jenna: *lowers her head and sighs* Hybrid.. Heh. *she shakes her head then looks at Kalysto once more* I know not my parentage. I never met them. However, Seph is under the full impression that my lineage comes from the line of red dragons. Certain trailts of my children back up this belief. *she shrugs* Such details matter not. I am who I am, no matter the genetics.
Kalysto: So you’re a dragon…? Hm, never would have guessed. But yeah, I saw a kid with wings. Tangible ones at that. They weren’t bad. *coughs slighly* Ugh… *shakes his head* I’m still suprised you don’t give a damn about me being here. Most would try to kill me.
Jenna: Heh, most don’t understand magic at all. I care not that you tangle with demons. Their kind deserves the desecration that you choose to put onto them anyway. *She smirks* I have dabbled in all styles of magic. One is not higher than the other. Such talk is nonsense.
Kalysto: Oh, I’m not going to dispute that one… but there’s ignorant fools who say what I do is dangerous, forbidden, so on…. they condemn it. *hiccups slightly* Oh well.. I do what I do. What is, is what must be. *shrugs* You seem interesting enough. *seems awkward for a moment* Sorry I tried to burn you before.
Jenna: *Coldly smirks* No need for that. Fire is my element. Even if you tried with your strongest spells to burn me, you would never be able to truly harm me. *she shakes her head and playfully clicks her tongue* Don’t use ice against spell-casters that are most attune with ice, don’t use fire against those who play with fire. *she shrugs then glances back down at her book* And I am interesting? Hmm.. the most I can say in reply is that you are drunk.
Kalysto: I’m drunk? Kind of, yeah… I’m slowly coming down from it though… I think I need to drink some water and lie down for a while… *chuckles slightly* But no, you’re right… next time I will use shadowflame. *waves casually as he departs*
Jenna: *narrows her eyes in thought. She then softly mutters under her breath, speaking in latin. Not long after she mutters, several containers of water appear at Kalysto’s feet. Meanwhile, Jenna just lowers her head and resumes her reading*
Kalysto: *stops as he sees the water containers at his feet and picks them up* Hah hah… I get it… *picks them up and heads the rest of the way back to his room. He pops open the bottle and begins to drink the water*
Jenna: *continues to read. However, after some time, she closes her eyes due to her sickness making her feel weak. She then tries to contact Sephiroth* ~Seph, have you come up with any ideas as to figure out who you want to examine me? I don’t know how much more of this I can take..~
Sephiroth: *”I’m going to take you to a physician shortly. I’ll have Zach look you over, but I don’t think he’ll know how to deal with it, considering his limited knowledge. I’ll take you to a doctor, or somebody who worked under Hojo once. That’s all I can think of…”*
