Kalysto: Humans will stab you in the back, or kill you before they even get a good look at you. They disgust me. They’re also self-serving idiots and will betray you if it’s convenient for them to do so… *sighs as Desiree massages his back and closes his eyes, trying to enjoy it*
Desiree: *Softly mutters* Well, my Father has said the same thing about humans.. I guess it most certainly must be true that they’re like that. *she lowers her head and mutters* The humans made my father and used him as a science experiment for most of his life.. He knows full well what they can do to others. That’s why we don’t associate with them.. My mother also doesn’t like humans, but I don’t quite know why..
Kalysto: *lowers his head and sighs, closing his eyes as Desiree continues to massage his back. He has calmed considerably by now and is actually starting to enjoy it* Who would willingly do that….
Desiree: Hmm…? Willingly do what? *she tilts her head* Be a science experiment? If that’s what you mean, my father didn’t have a choice. He was one even when he was in the womb. *She shrugs to that fact. She then narrows her eyes as she encounters a rather stiff set of muscles. So, she gets to work of loosening up the cluster of muscles*
Kalysto: No, I meant willingly staying with the humans. Who would? *wiggles his shoulders and grins slightly. At least until Desiree starts poking at the stiff muscles. He snaps his eyes open at the stinging pain and quickly moves away from her* Geez what the hell are you trying to do?!
Desiree: *hisses then reaches out to grip onto his shoulders, trying to keep him put* stay still. All I’m doing is removing tension from your muscles. It’ll feel strange, but it’ll feel much better once I’m all done. Now, stop moving away. *with that, she tries to return to loosening up his muscles* As for staying with humans, I cannot answer. I don’t live with any humans.
Kalysto: Of course you live with humans. Don’t kid yourself. Nearly every single one of you is some kind of human hybrid. Just because it’s not 100%, it doesn’t mean they’re not human. Which means they will think like humans. And in the end, they will live to serve their own end. *tenses* Ow, that’s my shoulder, damn it!
Desiree: *rolls her eyes at his complaints. Instead, she just continues on* No, just because we share some genes, we are not the same as them. *she shakes her head* My family will never be like those idiots. Never. *finally, she finishes loosening up the muscle that she had been working on. She then brushes her hands across his back to see if the job is complete*
Kalysto: *remains quiet as Desiree brushes her hands accross his back, saying nothing. However, his ears may give indication of his mood, as they are currently quite relaxed on his head*
Desiree: *finally pats his right shoulder in a gentle manner then nods at him* There, all done. No more knots in your muscles. You ought to feel much better now. *with that, she stands up and stretches*
Kalysto: Ought to, probably won’t. *chuckles dryly* I will probably have a decent hangover in a few hours. And the liquor did absolutely nothing to kill my craving for magic, either. *flicks his ears back* There’s no way to get any right now, either.
Desiree: Craving for magic? *she tilts her head* What the heck are you talking about there? I’ve never heard of such a thing… I’ve heard of mother melting her insides if she pulls in too much energy into her body though..
Kalysto: *glances at her for a few moments, then tiredly sighs* Since the day you’re born, you’re addicted to magic, energies, whatever you want to call it. All of my kind were addicted – they were drunk on it. Then their source was taken away and others must be found. Most of them become Mages… some become Warlocks. It’s easy to abate your addiction that way. One tries to control their intake, but one must be mindful of their needs, as well… it can be maddening. It never ends… *shrugs* In the end it’s something you deal with, and resume what you were doing before. *pushes over his vial, dissatisfied with how little energy he had collected in it*
Desiree: Hmmm… *she wanders away for a while, deciding to look for something instead. After a while, she goes through a small pile of materia that she has. She grabs a few mastered All materias. Upon gathering up the materia, she decides to return to Kalysto. So, she promptly dumps the six mastered all materia that she had gathered up into his lap once she reaches him* There.
Kalysto: These things again… they’re good enough and I can sense what lies inside, but I don’t know how I would use them. The energy in the middle of your planet makes a good substitute… *coughs slightly, then moves to his feet*
Desiree: Materia is just crystallized Mako. And it self-reproduces when it’s mastered. Why can’t you just use materia as a source of quelling your strange addiction? *she shakes her head* I don’t get it at all.
Kalysto: I would use them but I don’t know how… something to be discovered, I suppose. Anyway, farewell… *raises a hand to her as if waving a short goodbye, then begins to move off, heading back into the hallway*
Desiree: *Shakes her head* So, I do you a bunch of favors, and you just wander off… *she rolls her eyes* You really need to work on those friendship skills… *sighing, she glances around the room. She then mutters* Mother has too much junk.
Kalysto: *stops in the hallway as he heard Desiree’s comment. He comes back and stares in the dooray at her* What…? What do you want me to do for you…? *leans against the doorframe*
Desiree: Huh? *she looks up at him then quickly shakes her head* I don’t want you to do anything for me. I was just making a statement. *She shrugs then kicks at a random gem on the floor* I better check up on Sephiros.. *with that, she wanders out of the room*
Sephiros: *remains where he has been kept as a prisoner for all this time. His head is lowered and he is looking particularly haggard right now, mostly due to the fact he is not taking care of himself any more*
Kalysto: *slowly nods his head* Right… make it then… I don’t know what else to tell you. *mutters to himself* “”Nei O andu ai ano alah….”” *wanders back into the hallway and retreats to his room, crashing down on his bed*

Desiree: *walks into Sephiros’s room. She then groans as she looks over him. Shaking her head, she moves closer to him then tries to sit him up* You really need to clean up.. *she wrinkles her nose. So, for the next few hours, she’d stay in Sephiros’s room and take care of his needs, whether he wants her to or not*
Sephiros: **makes very aggressive sounds in protest and lashes out at her at any opportunity, wanting to kick her ass for the state he’s in* Go to hell, wench! Leave me the hell alone, I just want to be left alone. You do not control me!
Desiree: *decides to ignore Sephiros and simply continues to take care of his needs. During this time, she’d clean him off, feed him, brush out his hair, and change out his bedding sheets. She does her best to avoid Sephiros as he strikes out at her*
Jenna: *grumbles, not wanting to remain in bed yet again. So, she sneaks out of the bedroom and moves to the library on the upper levels so that she can read*

Sephiros: *snarls and kicks out at Desiree wherever possible* Kill me or release me, wench! Just stop wasting my time and keeping me as your prisoner.
Kalysto: *lies down on his bed, but because of his sensitive hearing, he can hear the various noises of people nearby. When he hears Jenna reading aloud, he rotates his ear towards it so he can properly listen, although he can’t make sense of it. When he hears the book being discarded, he slowly moves to his feet and wanders off to the source, curious* What are you looking for?
