Desiree: *Wanders through Halcyon for a bit, trying to track down her sister. Finally, she locates Cancer and grins as she notices that the other girl is distracted. So, she casts an invisibility spell before trying to sneak up on Cancer. If she successfully sneaks up on the other girl, she’d wrap her arms about Cancer and give her a tight squeeze* Gotcha.
Cancer: *has found a large dagger in need of some polishing and sharpening. She admires it when she finds it and picks it up. When Desiree pounces on her, she makes a loud screaming noise in surprise and tenses, preparing to whip around and attack. When she realizes that it’s just Desiree, she lightly elbows her and makes a loud aggitated huffy noise* I knew you were there.
Desiree: *loudly laughs at Cancer* Sure you did. *She lets go of her sister then removes the invisibility spell* So, are you ready of a day filled with explosions and flames? *she chuckles and grins* I think I’ve found a few new spells for us to try out. And, I found some guy who knows how to cast spells. He can probably teach us some stuff.
Cancer: Explosions and flames? *pauses* Wait a second…. *puts her hands on her hips* Who did you find, anyway? *turns back to the daggers* I’m more interested in sneaking up behind something and stabbing it to death.
Desiree: Just some spell-caster guy who says he’s an elf. He seems to know his stuff. *she rubs her hands together* Come on. We can summon something for you to stab if you want. It’ll be fun.
Cancer: An elf? You mean like that other lady who’s a bit of a beanbrain? Not sure if I like the sound of that. *frowns at Desiree* I’d rather just find somebody to kill. But if if makes you happy… *moves to brush herself off* Alright, lead the way.
Desiree: *broadly grins* Don’t worry, he’s not an idiot like the other lady. *she shakes her head* He’s just kinda silly.. *she shrugs then moves out of the room. Soon enough, she heads toward the hot springs before checking about the area to see if Kalysto is one* Hey, you all clean?
Kalysto: *has since departed the spring. The towels he used are neatly folded up on the ground and near the doorway, ready for laundering. The elf himself has since wandered off without any indication of where he has gone*
Cancer: *follows Desiree down to the springs. She glances around and blinks* Are you talking to yourself again….?
Desiree: *pouts as she notices that there’s no one in the spring. She then frowns at Cancer* No, he just clearly left already. Don’t worry, I’ll find him. *she crosses her arms and growls. Soon enough, she begins to track Kalysto with her psychic abilities. She wanders about the base as she tries to track down Kalysto*
Kalysto: *is in the deeper reaches of the base, and in amongst some of Jenna’s stolen magical artifacts. He has retreated to the back corner of the area where the light barely penetrates and he is busy brooding over a small magic vial he has found. He holds it in one hand and has his other hand raised over it. The raised hand has a short but deep gash in it and he is allowing it to bleed into the vial, not seeming terribly fussed at all right now*
Cancer: *just follows her sister where she goes, curious to see where she will go now*
Desiree: *Continues to track down Kalysto. Upon locating him, she frowns at how dark the area is. She then quickly casts a spell to create an orb of light* Hey, what are you doing here? *she looks about* This is all boring junk..
Kalysto: *because he’s an elf and has heightened senses, he doesn’t seem to give a damn about the dark. When he sees Desiree’s light ball he quickly cringes and turns his head away at the sudden light in the room. He grabs up the vial and quickly yanks his glove on as if nothing happened, seeming quite angry now* Oh what the hell do you want now? Go away, leave me alone. I’m in no mood to be bothered! *moves to his feet and briskly exits the room with his vial*
Desiree: *tilts her head as she notices the vial. She then shrugs before reaching out the grasp onto Kalysto* What exactly were you doing? It looked like you were cutting yourself. *she glances over at Cancer* This is the guy I was talking about, sister.
Kalysto: *flustered* It’s none of your goddamn business what I was doing, woman! *shakes his head* Anyway, I did not wish to be disturbed. What the hell do you want from me anyway? *stops, then tries to shake her off him* Don’t touch me!
Cancer: He’s kinda weird…
Desiree: *tightens her grip on Kalysto, slightly concerned due to the fact that he was cutting himself. Glancing over at Cancer, she mutters* He’s been acting strange ever sense Astaroth did something to him… *She shrugs then decides to try to scan Kalysto and the flask in his hand, wanting to know what he was up to*
Kalysto: *if Desiree were to sense him properly, she would sense right now that his soul would appear to be much larger than it’s supposed to be. It is also irregular as another soul has been attached onto his and now they are one and the same* What. So something happens, somebody gives me some power, and now you think I’m insane? *narrows his eyes* Get away from me. I don’t need a babysitter. Just let me get on with my own damn thing…
Desiree: *deeply frowns at what she’s sensing from him. She then shakes her head* There really is something wrong with you. *she transmits what she sensed to him* Are you aware of that? Hm? And why were you trying to cut your wrist?
Kalysto: *visibly bristles and tenses his shoulders, gritting his teeth in anger* What part of leave me alone don’t you understand?? *shoves Desiree aside and attempts to exit the area a second time, wanting to retreat from her*
Desiree: *Yelps as she’s pushed back. She then frowns before trying to cast a spell to freeze Kalysto’s feet to the floor. She then looks over at Cancer* Sister, you sense it too, right? There’s something not right with him.
Kalysto: No, this is going to end right here and now. *glances down as his feet are frozen onto the floor* Mind your own business. I am perfectly fine. And you are looking into things which are none of your concern. *raises his hands and teleports himself to the teleport runed-circle in Desiree’s room, leaving behind the magic vial and the blood*
Desiree: *groans and shakes her head* Cancer, you did sense that something was wrong with him, right?
Cancer: He did feel kind of strange… I don’t know what was wrong with him, though. Is he sick? *glances down at the vial, then picks it up and tries to hand it to Desiree* He forgot this. *eyes it off suspiciously, then begins to shake it* Weird. *raises an eyebrow when the contents begin to jingle around like glass beads*
Desiree: *she tilts her head as she hears the jiggling noises* Huh? Since when did blood jingle about. What’s in that thing?
Cancer: *tips the vial out onto the ground. The contents of the container include blood, as well as small red crystallized glass shards that are the exact same colour as the blood* What’s this about? *glances at the door, then throws the vial onto the ground so it smashes*
Kalysto: *runs past the door in a hurry, looking for another room in the base where he can continue what he was doing before*
