Desiree: *rolls her eyes at Kalysto* Yea, sure.. You clearly don’t know who my father is then. He summoned a meteor to in an attempt to slam it down onto this planet and make himself a god. You can’t be worse than that. And mother.. She’s.. Completely absolutely insane.
Jenna: *releases a soft sigh as she continues to try to relax. After a few more minutes, she raises to her feet and moves over to the robes. After covering herself with a black robe, she moves up the stairs, intending to find her mate*
Kalysto: How can I be expected to know anything about this place when I’ve never been here before? You’re very naive, aren’t you? *shakes his head* And why are you following me? I already said what I was going to do, I hardly need an escort for that.
Sephiroth: *sits down on the floor in the middle of the training room and glares down at his sword, clearly angry with the turn of events. He is frustrated and glares at his sword on the wall, then down at his hand, resenting it’s existance*
Desiree: *shrugs* If you go to the wrong place, you might get yourself in trouble… Anyway, you look like you might be interesting. And you owe me for trying to kill me! *she sticks her tongue out then thinks* Hey, want to find a really big dragon? Mother left a map out on the library table when I was there.. I think I can find it.
Jenna: *groans as she continues to force her body to move, still quite exhausted. Finally, she moves into the training room before sighing at Sephiroth* What are you doing…?
Kalysto: What is it with you and dragons? *shakes his head* They’re not that great. Just because they’re big and they can fly, it doesn’t mean much. *shrugs* And so what if I tried to kill you? If it’s convenient to do so, I’ll do it again.
Sephiroth: *glances up at Jenna, then glares down at the floor* I’m doing exactly as it looks like.
Desiree: *holds up her fist and shakes it at the elf* Like hell you will. Hmph. *she snorts and crosses her arms* Anyway, the offer still stands. It’s either wander about and get lost in the woods, or we can go to a place that might not exist. *she shrugs*
Jenna: *releases a tired sigh. She then moves closer to Sephiroth* Do you want me to finish the job there. *she points at his hand* You know I didn’t finish, right?
Sephiroth: Don’t you need to wait a while after each configure? How are you supposed to know what is right and what isn’t just by tweaking around with what you have there? *scowls* I’m going to become right handed anyway. It doesn’t matter.
Kalysto: Lost? Who said I’m going to do that? I do not need to know my way around a specific place. *shrugs* But you want to find a dragon? Very well. Lead the way. It may be entertaining to steal from.
Jenna: Well, if you can’t even grip onto things properly, it clearly isn’t right, Seph.. *she shakes her head* I usually adjust my gloves until things just feel right. It’s the same principle. *She moves closer to him then reaches up to gently rub the side of his face*
Desiree: Yea.. maybe. *she shrugs and glances at the ground for a moment. She then shrugs and begins moving away toward the forests. After about an hour of wandering about, she finds a rock sticking out from the ground. She then grins as she notices hidden symbols written onto the rock. So, she begins to hit the symbols that she had seen on the map, which soon make a rift open up in front of the rock*
Sephiroth: It’s not really the same. *raises his left hand, then begins to bang it against the floor, making loud thumps* It’s dead to me. I don’t feel anything. And unlike you, I don’t actually have a hand there any longer, it’s just metal. It’s useless. *glares* Not to mention… it wil set off a metal detector.
Kalysto: And how do you know about things like this, may I ask? You don’t seem like a very knowledgable person. *watches Desiree open the rift in the rock* Hum.. You’re full of surprises.
Jenna: *frowns at his words* You should feel something from it, Seph. Centra and I created a network of sensors that should work just as well as real nerve cells.. much better than what are in my gloves.. Also, I grafted in skin cells from your hand so that it looks like it’s flesh.. that’s why I created fake blood vesels. *she crosses her arms and sighs* I gave you the best that I could come up with.
Desiree: Huh? I told you, mother left this map out on the table. She usually doesn’t do that sort of thing, but it looked interesting. *she shrugs* It had the name Tiamat at this point next to these symbols. Last I heard, that’s the great mother dragon. *with that, she strolls through the rift*
Kalysto: It looked interesting and so you stole it? What are you, a thief? *shakes his head and follows her in, not seeming terribly concerned. He wanders inside and immediately surveys his surroundings, wanting to make sure he’s safe before proceeding* Tiamat is the name of the great mother dragon? It’s unfamiliar to me.
Sephiroth: I don’t know what I feel. All I know right now is that I hate it. *scowls* You want to tweak it? Do whatever. I don’t care.
Desiree: I didn’t steal it. I only memorized what I saw. *She grins and taps the side of her head* I have a photographic memory. *She then glances around. Her eyes widen as she soon sees a series of large chains coming from several gigantic statues that seem to be holding spears that point to the center of the area. As her eyes trail down the chains, she soon spots an extremely large and extremely asleep dragon. It’s scales seem to shimmer with several various colors, never seeming to stay a single color for long. Also, the dragon has several sets of wings; however, with the chains and the position that the dragon is sleeping in, it is hard to tell how many*
Jenna: *she lowers her head and sighs* I just want to help you, Seph..
Kalysto: *follows Desiree along, staring down at the dragon as they approach. He slowly shakes his head at it as he moves ever closer, seeming curious* So what are you going to do with it now that you know where it is? *frowns* It can probably make things just by dreaming about them, if the stories about dragons are true.
Sephiroth: I’ll tolerate this – *taps the hand on the floor* But the real way to help would be finding a way to lift the curse so I can have my actual hand back again. Don’t you think that would be the best solution? *scowls* Those who do not settle for anything but the best very often get it.
Desiree: *shrugs and continues to gawk at the dragon* I don’t know. I half-way didn’t expect to find anything here at all.. I mean, if there was a map.. Why didn’t this thing get found before then? *she moves closer to the dragon. She then reaches out to poke its scales*
Jenna: *releases a tired sigh* Seph… I.. *she lowers her head and shakes it* It would never be in my power to remove that curse. I can tell by feeling the energies around it. I simply will never be capable of removing it.
Sephiroth: There’s got to be somebody one of us can go to, to have it removed. Or are you going to give up? *scowls* I don’t want to be stuck with a chunk of metal on the end of my arm for the rest of my existance. It’s going to affect more than you might think.
Kalysto: If you had a map to it, it’s already been found. *shakes his head, then glances at the chains* Let’s free it. *grins*
Deisree: *blinks then glances up at the statues. After studying them for a bit, she looks back over at the elf* Free it…? Those chains are pretty big. Can we even move a single link? *she shakes her head then shrugs*
Jenna: *she releases a deep sigh* If I knew of anyone, don’t you think I would have tried, Seph? Aeris couldn’t remove it. About the only other one with healing abilities is.. That priest version of you.
Kalysto: You could break the links if you had a big enough explosive force. *smirks* I’m noting something interesting here. Your concerns are on how to break the chains, rather than freeing the dragon at all. Your thinking is very skewed.
Sephiroth: I’m not talking about known sources. Look it up, find people who you don’t know of in the immediate. They are not the only two people in all of existance you know.
Desiree: Huh? *She frowns and whips around to look at Kalysto* My thinking is scewed? How is that so? Don’t we need to break the chains in order to free that dragon? How else are we going to do it?
Jenna: *she sighs and shakes her head* You do know that I am about the only active magic user that I know of, Seph? Sure, there are dragons on earth, but.. their magics wouldn’t be able to help at all.
Kalysto: I’ve already you how it’s so – most normal people would be more concerned about freeing the dragon at all. You don’t seem to care. *shakes his head* Did that really need to be explained again? Please don’t make me explain it a third time, I don’t think I’d be able to tolerate it. *glances back up at the chains* The weak points are always the parts where the chain is attached on. Break them and your dragon will be free. But it’s asleep. How to wake it up…?
Sephiroth: So look on other worlds, don’t rule everything out so quickly. *snorts*
Desiree: *crosses her arms before unintelligibly grumbling at the elf. She then shakes her head and glances up at the parts of the statues that are holding the starts of the chains* Fine, fine.. *So, she kicks off the ground so that she can fly up to where the chains connect to the statues. Then, she frowns as she studies the spots* You now.. I don’t have anything to blow this up with..
Jenna: *lowers her ehad and sighs* If you want to do that, then I can’t stop you, Seph..
Kalysto: Then move aside and let me blow it up. I have absolutely no idea why you’re not objecting to this, but I don’t care. I want to see what will happen. *raises one hand, focussing a bolt of dark energies in it. He then hurls it at the chain bindings near Desiree, wantign to test how strong the attachment is*
Sephiroth: I just want to make my intentions clear. I’m useless until I have my hand back. I can’t do anything as it is now.
Desiree: *yelps and leaps even higher in the air as the shadow bolt strikes the chain. She then stares at the chain as it begins to glow. Soon enough, all the links begin to glow with the same energy before they start to crumble apart* Well, that’s strange…
Jenna: *presses herself against Seph and rests her forehead on his chest* I know you want to have your hand back. However, for now, there’s no foreseeable way for you to get it back. So, you should get used to the alternative…
Kalysto: Agreed. *blinks* Well, that was extremely weak and anticlimatic. How dissapointing. *watches the dragon to see what it will do* Heh, I wonder… *walks over to the dragon, then draws his blade and begins to poke at it’s scales with the blade’s edge. After another few moments he tries to get the blade in between and under scales to try and cause actual damage to the dragon* I wonder what will wake it up?
Sephiroth: I should get used to the alternative and I never said no to it. But I’m still saying I would rather find a way to not have to depend on it. *scowls* It’s going to look ridiculous when I shift forms.
Desiree: *continues to levitate over near one of the statues that had been holding the base of the one chain that Kalysto shot. She then sticks her tongue out at it* Silly old things.. *she then yelps as the spear from the statue suddenly moves and swipes at her. So, she quickly dodges down toward where the elf is* Damn.. I think you weren’t supposed to do that at all.
Jenna: *she shakes her head* That concern is an easy fix, my love. All I need to do is cast an enchantment on the hand to make it adjust to whatever shape you take. Similar to how my gloves and clothing change when I shift into my more draconic form.. *she then moves her left hand to gently massage the side of his head* And I know you want another solution. However, we have children.. You can’t go chasing all over the place looking for such a thing.
Sephiroth: *closes his eyes, vaguely purring in reply* You say that now… but I was in the other reality for a long time and according to your perspective, I wasn’t even gone five minutes. Surely I could do something like that again. It isn’t the first time its happened, and I highly doubt that it is going to be the last, either. *scowls* Let me do this. It won’t be disruptive.
Kalysto: *looks up at Desiree, then begins to grin in a menacing manner* Really? I wasn’t supposed to? By whose decree, exactly? *raises a hand up and attempts to blast down another one of the chains with another bolt of dark energies* This is only beginning to get interesting.
Jenna: *shakes her head, deeply frowning* Seph, I haven’t once thought of leaving our family.. Why are you so willing to pursue a selfish pursuit and abandoning us? *she sighs and closes her eyes* I can’t force you to stay if you don’t want to.
Desiree: *Continues floating about in the air and dodging the spear as it rams toward her. She then yells out at Kalysto* By whoever built these fucking things! *she then yelps as the other statues begin to move and attack both her and Kalysto* Damn it. You’re going to get us killed!
