Sephiroth: *opens his eyes and sits up properly, staring at her in disbelief for a momemt before loudly snorting* Where did that one come from? *glares* I never said I was going to abandon you. Hell, I didn’t even say I was looking to go away for an extended period of time. Where did I say that? You’re really not listening to a word I’m saying, are you? I said I want to explore how to fix my hand – that is it. I’m not going anywhere until I find a fix. And even if I did, I would appear to be gone perhaps 15 minutes? That’s the plan, anyway.
Kalysto: If they’re attacking you get down? Why are they going for you anyway? *stares up as one of the statues comes for him and loudly yells and quickly turns to run, yelling and making a lot of noise constantly during his fleeing*
Jenna: And what if you don’t succeed at making it appear that way? Do you really have the skill to do that? Are you really willing to run off and search for god knows how long in heaven knows where for a solution, Seph? *she shakes her head* If you think that is not abandoning us… I don’t know what is.
Desiree: *hisses and continues dodging the spear. She then twirls around as she hears Kalysto yell out. Rolling her eyes, she dives in to grab him, hoping to at least pull him out of the way of danger. She then loudly grunts* Man, you’re heavier than you look!
Seferia: *had silently followed the duo since she encountered them earlier, hoping that the two might lead her to any clues at all. She had been remaining to the shadows, just watching as the two found the large dragon. However, she snorts as she sees the statues come to life. Narrowing her eyes as she watches the two humanoids, she soon steps forward then uses her magic to create a barrier to protect them*
Sephiroth: I’m only abandoning you if I’m actually going somewhere. *folds his arms* And if I’m not going anywhere, then there’s nothing to complain about. *scowls* You’re still not listening.
Kalysto: *immediately retaliates to being grabbed by attempting to launch spells on her, mostly to do with feeling like one is on fire. When the barrier appears over him, he stops, glaring up at it* Let go of me, damn you! I never asked you to touch me? *tries to poke the barrier* What in god’s name is this thing?
Jenna: Seph, you’re talking about going off to find a way to get that curse lifted. I’m listening to you quite well. *she shakes her head at him* I know you’re not running out the door, but you want to..
Deslree: *hisses in pain as the spells are thrown on her. She then makes a growling noise at Kalysto* Hey! I’m trying to save your hide! Stop that! *she then stops dead in the air as she sees the barrier as well* What the-?
Seferia: *releases another snort as she watches the humanoids fight amongst themselves. She then shakes her head before glaring up at them* ~You two are quite the idiots. I have not seen many willing to trigger traps made to fend off my species.~ *she then grunts as her barrier is assaulted by the spears of the statues*
Kalysto: I wanted to see what would happen. It’s not idiotic, it’s because I want to cause chaos and havoc. What good am I without it? I am nothing. *shrugs* I still didn’t ask for your help, either… *cowardly ducks as the spears ram against the statues and begins to yell all over again*
Sephiroth: I never mentioned going anywhere. I never mentioned abandoning you. I don’t know how many times I have to reiterate it, but if you’re not going to get it after this, I’m just not going to discuss it any longer. I don’t want to have to explain something to you multiple times – why are you making me?
Desiree: *hisses in annoyance as the elf begins to yell about again. She then grits her teeth in annoyance* Will you shut up? *snorting, she suddenly lets go of him* Man, you are way heavier than you look.
Seferia: *faintly narrows her eyes. She then glances at the statues again. Snarling, she shakes her head before glaring at Kalysto* Make yourself of use, rather than screaming. The writings on the wall say that there is something keeping the dragon in the middle of the room in thrall and immobile. Find that something and destroy it. *with that, she closes her eyes. Soon enough, her body begins to shift and ripple before her draconic form begins to rip through the fur of her feline body*
Jenna: *sighs and nods* Very well.. I’m just so very tired..
Kalysto: Are you calling me fat? *Hisses at Seferia* How am I supposed to find the something halting it? I’m not some… *stares at her* …shape changing dragon like you. *points to Desiree* Nor can I fly. Perhaps, though… *casts a spell on himself to be able to see the invisible and looks around, expecting to find some kind of dormant energies, or perhaps a spell over the dragon*
Sephiroth: Then go to sleep and don’t worry about things so much. I’m not going anywhere. I can do my research while staying put. What are you so afraid of, anyway? *grunts*
Desiree: No! I’m calling you dang heavy! *she shakes her fist at him. She then ducks as a spear heads her way again* Shit! *she then quickly ducks down to land next to Kalysto* And I can’t fly. I levitate. There’s a difference. *she snorts then looks about the room* Hmm…
Seferia: *Shakes herself off as she fully emerges in her natural form. She then hisses as a spear nears her before lunging forward to bite at the base of the spear. Soon enough, her jaws literally snap the spear in half as she applies the full might of her bite pressure on it. Then, she shuffles back before spewing out fire at another statue*
*The dragon is in such a deep sleep because her essence had been ripped from her body and stored in a trinket when she had been sealed away. This trinket appears to be a large eye-shaped gem that is wrapped around in chains on the other side of the room. This gem is extremely large, being just a bit larger than an average watermellon. If Kalysto is capable of seeing it, he might see a slit-style pupil staring out at him from the gem*
Jenna: *slowly shakes her head* No.. I want to make certain that hand works to the best of its abilities first.. I don’t want you accidently hurting yourself because it’s not properly set-up..
Kalysto: Float, levitate, fly, whatever you damn things want to call it. It’s all the same and I can’t do it. And don’t call me heavy, because I’m not! I’m not fat either! *glares at Seferia* You! Dragon! This is my destruction, damn you! Stop interferring. I was doing just fine causing chaos until you came along!
Sephiroth: Hurting myself? How exactly would I hurt myself from my own hand?
Seferia: *growls in annoyance at Kalysto’s words. She then swings out her tail in his direction, intending to whack him* ~I told you to find that which is containing the dragon in the middle of this room. Shut up and do as you are told.~
Desiree: You too are heavy. You weigh a lot more than you look like you should. *she snorts then yelps in fear as a spear comes her way* Damn! Why did you have to shoot those chains?? *she ducks a bit close to the chained up gem then screams in pain as a field around it attacks her. The field itself is designed to any ancestors of Tiamat, so only those with dragon blood in them would be effected*
Jenna: If the fingers do not respond properly, you could either drop something or squeeze on something too hard..
Kalysto: And why am I doing your work for you? You know for a fact you can do it on your own, dragon. Why do I always have to do everything for you? It’s not like you can’t do it…. it’s more like you don’t want to. Or you pick on somebody you consider ‘lesser’ to do it for you. Well, not any more. Sorry. *folds his arms* I don’t want to free a dragon. I just wanted to cause a little chaos. *grins* And… *ducks as the spear comes flying at him* Shut up, girl! *eyes off the gem Desiree was going for and tries to make a grab at it himself when he nears it*
Sephiroth: Squeeze on something? *raises an eyebrow, then shakes his head* What in Hades’ name are you talking about now? Why would I drop something on myself, or squeeze myself with my metallic hand?
*the chains pulsate as Kalsyto comes near the gem. However, unlike Desiree’s unfortunate accident of stumbling into the field, Kalysto would not be affected at all*
Desiree: *groans in pain as she tries to push herself back up to her feet. She then rubs her back* Shit, that hurt like hell…
Seferia: ~If you want to survive, do as I say.~ *she narrows her eyes* ~And I care not what tasks you do for whom. I can sense the energies in this area. It is designed to keep dragons out. So, you must do everything.~
Jenna: I’m talking about accidents, Seph. Things do happen. If that hand doesn’t respond to your nerve signals properly, accidents can occur. *she sighs* I just would rather insure that your hand works properly before I go to sleep.. I wouldn’t feel right.
Kalysto: *smirks and casually picks up the gem, running it over in his hands. He looks up at Seferia and begins to maliciously chuckle, seeming very pleased* Oh, you want this? I can use it against you and you can’t do shit about it, can you? *tosses the gem between his hands, looking back at the dragon* Well, I’ll ruin it forever for you. *pitches the gem as hard as he can against the sleeping dragon’s snout, intending to smash it*
Sephiroth: *sighs in resignation and offers her the fake hand* Fine. Do what you want.
Seferia: *hisses in annoyance as she bites into another spear, trying to keep it from stabbing into her hide* ~I am simply giving you instructions as to how to live. If you don’t want to live; then, I do not care at all. I might not know what species you are, but you are most certainly not one of the ones that my queen has an alliance with. Your life has little significance to me.~
*The pupil in the eye jitters about quite a bit as Kalysto picks it up. If he were to pay attention, he might have heard a voice whispering to him during the short time in which he held onto the gem. For the most part, this voice seems to be obessed with freedom. However, once the gem shatters, the voice becomes silent. Instead, a bright light spring forth from the gem before slamming into the body of the large dragon. Still, it seems to not be doing anything quite yet, even when the light vanishes*
Jenna: *nods and glances over at the hand* Thank you, my love.. *with that, she nudges him over to the wall, wanting him to sit down and get as comfortable as possible. She then sits down as well and begins work on finalizing the adjustments and calibration to the hand’s sensitivity and other settings*
Sephiroth: *scowls and turns his head away as Jenna works on the hand calibration. Right now he still feels rather resentful of his current predicamment, specifically for the fact that Jenna has been getting her way with the issue on the hand. He makes a low grumble and just keeps his hand still, waiting until he can leave*
Kalysto: *just stands there once the gem breaks, seeming dissapointed. At the same time he is on high alert should something suddenly happen, his hands glowing as he creates a spell to meld with the Astral plane and escape if needed*
Jenna: *for the most part, she is silent as she works on finishing the settings for Seph’s hand. However, from time to time, she asks him to move about his fingers. Once she is done, she pats the hand then looks up at him* We’re done here… It should be much more responsive than it was before.. *she then softly sighs and closes her eyes*
Desiree: *groans and slowly pushes herself back up to her feet. She then stumbles over to Kalysto before punching the back of his left shoulder* You know, you could have helped me! Damn. *she snorts in irritation then looks at the broken crystal* What the hell was that about any- *before she can finish her question, the dragon’s four eyes suddenly snap open. Soon enough, it begins to rip itself free from the bindings that were holding it down, acting more like it had been held down by straw than thick chains. It then spreads open its two pairs of wings, one which has a membrane made entirely of astral energies and the other, larger and more prominent set, that seems more like what other dragons have, though it does have large feathers on the outer side of the membrane. Soon enough, it releases a strong shock of pure energy at all the defences in the area before it leaps forward to rip apart the statues that are still moving*
Sephiroth: *just sits still, still feeling resentful of the situation as Jenna works on his hand. Once she is done, he raises the hand and looks it over for a few moments, scowling slightly* Well it is better than it was before, yes. *glances over at her* What is wrong with you now?
Kalysto: How could I have helped you when… *cuts himself off and stares at the moving dragon before them, tensing up in fear* What the hell? *ducks and covers his head as the dragon begins to move, trying to get out of the way as debris and other stuff falls down around him* Is that thing a god? I thought it was just a really big dragon…
Jenna: Hmm…? *she cracks open her eyes to look up at Sephiroth. She then slowly shakes her head* No, nothing like that. I’m just exhausted. I also am not happy that your hand is gone.. but there’s nothing that can be done about that. *she closes her eyes again* I’m glad that the replacement hand is working more properly. The rest is up to you.. After all, you need to get used to it.
Desiree: *stares at the dragon with wide-eyes as it continues to rip through the various statues and defenses that had been set up to keep it contained. As she does this, she slowly backs up toward the wall* Damn.. *she then turns her head to look at Kalysto* Huh? I don’t know.. It was kinda a legend that was mentioned by mother once or twice. I didn’t know if she was real or not.
Seferia: *was tired out by the time that the other dragon begins to attack. So, she happily backs up and lowers her posture so that she can rest up for a moment. She then turns her attention to the elf* ~Tiamat is said to be the first dragon to come to earth. From her, all other dragons were born. I do not know any further.~
Tiamat: *whips around to face another statue. She then bares her fangs in anger before coiling back her neck somewhat. Soon enough, she opens up her maw and begins to spew out a powerful torrent of flames and energy. This stream tears both through the statue and the wall of the cave that she had been contained in*
Sephiroth: Hmrph… I suppose I will, in good time. *lightly closes the fake hand and opens it again, seeming both annoyed as well as intruiged by it’s movement* If you are exhausted, you should go to sleep. I am hardly doing anything that could be considered entertaining. After I have hung up my sword properly, I am going to get some food and probably join you in rest. Though I am hardly tired after my lie-down.
Kalysto: *once the dragon begins to move and look around, he is very quick to back up against the wall, looking for a way to flee* Well if would have been nice to have been told that BEFORE all of this began! I never wanted to be your means to free the stupid thing!
Desiree: *Glares at Kalysto* I never said a word about freeing any dragon. I said go “see” a dragon. Not once did I say release. You’re the idiot who started shooting at chains. *she snorts in anger. She then yelps and jumps back as the dragon blasts through the mountain’s side* Damn..
Jenna: Mmmm… Yes, I suppose I’ll do that. *Yawning, she slowly pushes herself up to her feet. She then makes her way down to her bedroom. Soon enough, she strips down then plops into the bed so that she can sleep*
Kalysto: *promptly backs away and cowers as the dragon bursts out of the mountainside* Holy hell! *cowers for a few moments before realizing that it’s over. He brushes the debris off himself and sighs* Now what…?
Sephiroth: *watches Jenna leave and wanders to the kitchen. Once there, he begins to rat through the cupboards for something good to eat*
Seferia: *shakes herself off as the debris hits her. She then loudly snorts in agitation before curling up slightly. Soon enough, she begins to shift back into her feline form*
Desiree: *stares as the dragon blasts through the mountain. She then shakes her head as she watches it spread open its wings and take into the air* I.. I.. I don’t think we were supposed to release it. I mean, wasn’t it held for a reason. *Whimpers* Father’s going to blame me again.. I know it.
Tiamat: *climbs out of the hole that it made. She then moves to the top of the mountain before rearing up to look at the surrounding area. At first, she simply looks around and takes in several deep breaths. However, her attention is soon drawn to the north. Narrowing her eyes in thought, she leaps into the air before soaring off toward the area of the northern crater*
Kalysto: *watches the dragon fly away, curiously noting it’s current trajectory path as it vanishes into the distance* You mean its going to cause chaos and destruction now? I think I might stay around afterall. *grins in amusement, then begins to walk away, wanting to follow the dragon’s path*
Sephiroth: *sits up as he hears the crashing noise, narrowing his eyes* *”Jen… what was that?”* *moves out of the training area and heads up the stairs to go outside and investigate*
Jenna: *Groans, not willing to wake up at all. She then grumbles incoherently to herself before shifting such that she buries her face in the pillow. Meanwhile, Sephy would get an instinctual telepathic response, but it is made up of sleep-driven random drabble*
Seferia: *her ears twitch slightly as she listens to the elf move away. She then snorts and shakes her head* You clearly are as shallow as humans. *she shakes her head then glances in the direction where Tiamat had left*
Desiree: What? *she rolls her eyes at Kalysto* Yea, whatever. You’re really stupid, you know.
Kalysto: Stupid? No. Senseless? Apparently so, in my logic, to one who does not understand it. If you want to follow me however, I wouldn’t bother. Afterall, the saying is quite true – nobody can dissapear faster in a forest than an elf. *snaps his fingers and points to the ground, directing his demon-puppy to stay where it is. He then bounds off, heading for the scrublands and the tree cover on the island*
Sephiroth: *sighs at Jenna’s reaction and moves back into the base, walking down the stairs to go find her. When he sees her on the bed, he moves to lie down beside her, intent on telling her the information when she wakes up*
*the loud rumbling within the planet continues as the planet continues with it’s construction work. Soon, it goes quiet again, and a very large dark blue heavily-armored creature begins to crawl out of the crater. It’s deep-dark sapphire blue hide glimmers in the light due to the fact it is still covered in the lifestream from which it emerged from. It makes a loud snort before raising it’s head to the sky and bellowing a loud deep angry roar*
