Sephiroth: *growls and wipes his face off, glaring at the physical form of Sesshou again* What is it? That is a good question… this form we are fighting, it’s her puppet. The real thing does not exist on this plane… that is why we had to attack it here and let Jenna do the real work. *picks up his sword and flicks the liquid material off it, looking disgusted* It may retreat now, I don’t know. Keep an eye on it.
Kalysto: *stomps back towards Sesshou, trying to make a grab at her* Make up your mind!
Sesshou: *hisses as Kalysto grabs onto the end of her tail. She then whips around to face him before lunging in to try to snap her jaws at him* Be gone. You are not worth my time. *Meanwhile, her phsyical forms literally waver before falling apart, for Sesshou’s attention is no longer on them*
Kalysto: *continues to pull on Sesshou’s tail, roaring at her. The demon bound to his soul begins to enrage, and his maw smoulders, preparing to blast her with fire energies* *”Not worth your time!? What do you think I am, some foolish mortal child with a death wish? You’re either extremely arrogant, or ignorant…”*
Rhyderi: Ugh… *shakes his foot as the goop splatters onto his sabatons* Disgusting. *flicks his sword, then glances back at the rest of the group, wanting to make sure everybody else is stil OK* What happens now? Did we defeat it?
Jenna: *finally stands back up, having regained her bearings from the blast that she had taken. She then scowls as she scans the area before sighing* Lovely… Not dead yet.. *with that, she begins charging up another spell*
Sesshou: *chuckles* Free-willed fool. Yes, you are exactly that. Now, be gone. *She tries to fling him away with a flick of her tail*
Kalysto: Laughable… I am so much more than that. *his eyes begin to smoulder in his rage, and then hisses as he is smacked backwards by Sesshou’s tail. He is quick to rise to his feet again, and then lunges in at her, trying to bite her*
Sephiroth: *glances upwards, then over at Jenna, scanning her over. He is very concerned for her right now, but only barely shows his emotion* *”Do you need assistance…? I can lend you some of my power if you need it…”*
Jenna: *narrows her eyes* ~At the moment, the one who needs assistance is that elf. He’s the one who has her attention. I doubt he’ll last long at all.~
Sesshou: *hisses as Kalysto bites her. She then quickly moves in to wrap her coils about him, intending to restrict his movements* No, you are little more than a tiny morsel. However, if this is what you want. *she opens up her mouth and begins trying to drain Kalysto*
Sephiroth: *”Who cares about the pathetic idiot. Just get that stupid snake down as fast as possible… if it is allowed to remain and exist, it will have dire consequences for all of us. I know you don’t like being given orders, but your priority should be the snake… that’s why we’re here. “*
Kalysto: *flares out his wings and coils them around himself, trying to buffet some of the effects of the draining. He loudly growls though, as he is unable to do terribly much against it*
Jenna: ~Seph, if the warlock goes down fast, the snake will go straight for me. That is what she’s already done. Hence, caring about how fast he goes down is important. Go help him. It’ll buy me time.~
Sesshou: *chuckles at Kalysto* Do you not see now how futile your efforts are?
Sephiroth: **”Just blow her up…”* *hisses in frustration and begins channelling his energies into Kalysto’s life-energy source, attempting to keep him sustained through Sesshou’s draining* *”I don’t know how much time this will buy…”*
Jenna: ~If you want to help more… use any attack that you can think of that is energy-based. Attack her. I’ve seen his fireballs harm her. So, certainly you have something.. anything..~
Seferia: *narrows her eyes as she scans the area. Soon enough, she aims toward where Kalysto is before launching another charge at her own team-mate as she tries to attack Sesshou*
Sesshou: *chuckles at Kalysto. Howeer, she soon uncoils around him and cringes in pain as the plasma charge hits her*
Kalysto: *flinches in pain as the plasma rifle shot strikes him. He is rather quick to go down and his form phases out of the astral plane altogether. He lies in a heap on the floor within feet of the place he was standing before, motionless and quite out of it*
Sephiroth: *growls loudly at Seferia* Idiot! *shakes his head in frustration and returns his focus to Sesshou, having no time to deal with Seferia’s tactics right now. He creates a pulsating non-directional shockwave, forcing it out at the area immediately around him, hoping to strike Sesshou with it*
Jenna: *Grits her teeth as she watches Kalysto go down. She then quickly fires a wave of chatoic energy toward where she last sensed the snake, which luckily strikes her enough to tear through her form once more* We need to do something else… See if you can lure her into the lifestream. I think it was hurting her. *With that, she leaps to where Kalysto landed and kneels down to check up on him*
Sephiroth: *”Alright, alright… I’ll see what I can do… hold her off for a moment if you can… and then try to hold off me… I’m probably going to regret this but I don’t really see any other option.”* *lowers his head, concentrating his mind, focusing hard. After a few moments of this, he begins to shift forms, soon morphing, growing in size. Six wings sprout from his torso and his legs recede into his body as he ‘evolves’ into his Safer form. The seraphic form hovers directly overhead for a brief moment, before gracefully beckoning to Sesshou, trying to call her over to him. At the same time, his wings begin drawing power into them, draining directly from the Lifestream below*
Kalysto: *although he is quite unconcious right now, the demon attached to his soul stirs, seeming rather angry with his host’s weakness. Although he says nothing right now, one with keen senses would notice very easily that the demon is trying to sift through his host’s unconciousness and take control*
Sesshou: *hisses as she turns her attention on Sephiroth* Theiving little creature. Do you honestly think you can stand a chance? *she then charges at him. Soon enough, she shifts her energy form so that it is visible and tangible in the real world before trying to latch her tentacles around Sephiroth so that she can try to drain him dry*
Genesis: *Narrows his eyes as he watches Sephiroth change. He then sighs and shakes his head before charging up his sword once more with magical energy from his materia. However, he steps back as he witnesses the energy creature materialize* What is that?
Jenna: Hrmph… Not too damaged. *She shakes her head and stands up. She then looks over at Sephiroth* ~Do try not to loose control.~
Sephiroth: *reaches out with his hands, sharply grabbing at her tentacles, trying to grip onto them. He fans out his wings in six different directions as he begins to lower himself into the bubbling pool below the maintenance landing*
Sesshou: *Doesn’t seem to notices too much that she’s being dragged down. Instead, she continues to hiss and tries to snap at Sephiroth’s head while she spreads out her wings in order to make herself larger*
Jenna: *moves to stand on the edge of the bridge that overlooks the lifestream. She then charges another spell before sending another wave of chaotic energy at Sesshou, hitting her in the back. However, after this spell is cast, she falls to her knees and holds onto the left side of her ribs* Damn..
Sephiroth: *his expression remains stoic as Sesshou snaps at his face. He continues to siphon energy from the Lifestream below him, and even begins to attempt to channel energy into Sesshou’s tentacles as he tries to drag her down further with him, using himself as bait*
Sesshou: Wretched little theif. I shall rip- *hisses in pain as the lifestream energy hits her and begins to make her form deteriorate. She then wiggles about, trying to break away from him*
Genesis: *decides to aplly some creative usage of his materia. So, he forms a wall and Mwall spell before manipulating the spell to help push Sesshou down with Sephiroth*
Sephiroth: *continues trying to pull Sesshou into the Lifestream. He hisses slightly as the Mwall spell shoves him down ontop of th surface and he begins to sink down into it, glowing brightly as the mass influx of energy reacts with his form, all the while still holding Sesshou as best as he can manage. Once immersed in the Lifestream, his wings begin to moult and deteriorate rapidly*
Sesshou: *Begins to thrash about as the energy hits her. Her own energies are so drasticly different from the life stream’s that her body begins to shred apart from the contact. She buckles and tries to get away from Sephiroth several times as he drags her down. However, after a few minutes down in the life stream, there would be nothing left of her*
Sephiroth: *sinks further into the Lifestream, soon too deep in it to be seen from the landing above at all. He sinks down to a certain point and then floats there, suspended and halted by the will of the planet itself*
Rhyderi: *peers down over the landing* Is it over…? *moves to his feet and shakes his head, offering a hand to Jenna*
Jenna: *is still holding at her side and not moving much. However, as Rhyderi offers his hand, she glances up at him before slowly nodding. She then takes his hand before shifting into her natural form. However, as she does this, she stumbles and a small bit of blood begins rolling down from her nose*
Rhyderi: *places a hand on the bridge of her nose, and then attempts to cast a holy-light-based healing spell on her* So what happens now…? *glances back down at the Lifestream, then over at Clawina and Seferia* Thank you for your help. Though I don’t thank you for blasting my only living blood relative. *moves over to Kalysto and crouches down next to him to feel for a pulse* He’s still alive.
Jenna: *despite Rhyderi’s spell, her bleeding doesn’t actually stop because it’s actually being caused by the energies that she had gathered. These energies are currently tearing at her innards and causing quite a bit of internal bleeding. So, not long after Rhyderi leaves her side, she kneels down once more before spitting out some blood*
Clawina: *snorts at Rhyderi. She then glances down at the lifestream* Yes, it seems that our need for a treaty is over. *she then moves over to Jenna before scowling* If not for the fact that you are already down, I would kill you now. However, slaying a disabled warrior is less than honorable. Farewell.
Seferia: *coldly speaks* To attack the enemy, sometimes you must hit your own allies. Such situations are not always simple to avoid. *with that, she moves to follow her queen*
Rhyderi: Are you going to be alright? You… *tilts his head to one side slightly* You don’t look well. At all… *backs up from her, then watches Seferia and Clawina depart, seeming discontent with their comments. He manages a polite wave to them however, and returns his attention to Jenna* Do you require medical attention?
*Deep within the bowels of the planet, there is an explosion, followed by a rumbling aftershock. The shockwave is enough to stir the surface of the Lifestream, and make the ground and the reactor shake slightly*
