Seferia: *Circles around the reactor once more, trying to check for any signs of activity or back-entrances. Finally, she swoops down toward the main group. Soon enough, she slams down onto the ground right infront of the group. She then lowers herself to let Kalysto off her back*
Kalysto: That was the worst ride ever. Don’t think for a second that I’m going to tip you. *hops down off her back and dusts himself off* Yuck.. dragon scales… at least they didn’t chafe the important parts.
Rhyderi: *sharply* Nobody wants to know!
Sephiroth: *snarls* Shut up. *heads into the reactor, becoming very stealthy and quiet in his movements. He grips the hilt of his sword very tightly as he sneaks inside, scanning the area for the exact location of the snake*
Jenna: *shakes her head at Kalysto and sighs* That is hardly important at this time… *sighing, she continues to follow after Seph. As she notices him gripping onto his sword, she spares a moment to look at his hand* ~Are you going to be ok handling your sword?~
Seferia: *loudly snorts, purposely blowing straight into the back of Kalysto’s head. She then shifts forms into a felinoid before taking a spot next to her queen*
Sephiroth: *”If I haven’t practised enough by now, then the fool is me.”* *moves further into the reactor, then grunts as he passes by the abandoned experiment chamber husks. He continues to scan the reactor, and then turns down one of the paths to the reactor’s core, stopping short of it* She’s in here… *narrows his eyes and tries to peer into the room*
Kalysto: Bluh! *snarls* I hate dragons! *moves after the group*
Sesshou: *is currently hovering over the lifestream. She hisses at it before trying to stick her tentacle in the liquid. However, the tentacle soon begins to smoke as if it were being melted*
Jenna: *glances around at the rest of the group. She then softly sighs* ~This is such a mish-mash..~
Sephiroth: *”It can’t be helped. Please just focus on what you need to do.”* *scowls, keeping a firm eye on Sesshou. He is waiting for a good time to strike, wanting to wait until she is quite distracted before attempting to take her by surprise*
Jenna: ~Of course, Seph. I’m not about to turn around and smell the flowers. Not that any flowers grow here.~ *She leans forward to glance into the room. She then narrows her eyes* ~Is it just me, or does she seem like she’s struggling with something?~
Sephiroth: *”I don’t know… but if she is distracted, that is all I need.”* *inches forwards, glancing back at his group to see if they are ready. He glares at them before turning his attention ahead again, moving into an attack-ready stance*
Rhyderi: *says nothing as he follows, standing behind Sephiroth. He has no room to take out his sword in the small maintenance shaft hallway, but his hand is near the hilt and he is very ready, just waiting for the advance*
Seferia: *narrows her eyes as she looks about the area. She then shakes her head and snorts* ~Human engineering. All so drismal.~
Jenna: *ignores the dragon’s comments. Instead, she remains close to Sephiroth and narrows her eyes as she looks down at Sesshou* ~Most certainly distracted. That is good.~
Sephiroth: *holds his sword behind him as he suddenly charges ahead, running on the tips of his toes to create as little of a noise as possible. Once in the more open area, he swings his sword around and tries to impale Sesshou in the neck with it as he springs in close to her*
Sesshou: *pauses and looks down as she notices the sword sticking out of her neck. After looking at it for a moment, she seems to melt away before reforming so that she’s facing Sephiroth* Foolish. What was that supposed to achieve? *she then tries to fling him away from her with a back-handed swipe*
Sephiroth: *immediately levitates into the air when flung back and counters the force by flying back against the force, thus not moving him back too far at all. Now that he is in the air, he takes advantage of it by swinging the sword at a much greater degree of angle than before, and he attempts to slash her hands with it* Do something!! *snarls*
Jenna: *glares at the elves* You heard him. Start doing something. *She then snorts and begins looking around. Soon enough, she leaps to a ledge on the other side of the room before she spreads open her wings. Soon enough, she begins pulling energy into herself from the surrounding area so that she can charge up a spell*
Clawina: *narrows her eyes as she examines the area where Sephiroth is battling* Hmph, it figures that a human would choose a battleground that has no ground at all. Foolishness.
Sephiroth: You want to fight on the ground, then do it! I don’t care, just get it down, and fast. *growls and attempts to stab Sesshou in the neck again, then raises his free hand and makes a destructive energy ball, hurling it at her face*
Kalysto: *stands on the sidelines and attempts to cast painful curses on Sesshou’s essense, trying to disrupt her concentration*
Clawina: If you had even utilized half of the brain that I must assume was gifted to you, you’d realize that you are first below us, and second right above some strange green river. No matter. *she looks over at Seferia and nods*
Seferia: *takes a few steps back. She then begins to utilize her magic to call forth several large boxes from her magical storage. Once the boxes are out, she bends down and begins to assemble a massive missle-launcher that fires plasma charges*
Genesis: *pulls out his hybrid rapier. After closing his eyes, he gently runs his hands along the runes on the sword, making them light up with a red magic. As soon as the sword’s magic is fully activated, he leaps down to where Sephiroth is doing battle and slashes at Sesshou’s side*
Sesshou: Annoyances. Do you honestly think that you are managing to- *she then stumbles back a bit as the destructive energy strikes her face*
Sephiroth: *with Sesshou distracted, he flies in close to her and attempts to ram her in the face with his elbow. He also tries to impale her through the chest with his sword, snarling at Clawina’s comment* You have feet, work it out! *grunts back at Jenna* *”We have her attention… let me know when you are ready.”*
Kalysto: *stays on the sidelines and continues to flick fire-spells at the creature, then throws the bigger ones in his spell arsenal, attempting to burn her*
Clawina: *snorts with indignation toward Sephiroth* Feet do little ground where there is only a river of… something that I cannot even identify.
Sesshou: *hisses as Sephiroth strikes out at her. However, she soon grins at him* Foolish. *Assuming that Kalysto has been tracking Sesshou’s spirit energies and not just watching her body he might notice that the energies suddenly race forward toward Jenna, even though the “body” remains put in front of Sephiroth. However, the physical body doesn’t simply hover, for it does move in to try to bite at Sephy’s head*
Jenna: *narrows her eyes and continues to charge up her spell* ~Just a bit…~ *she then hisses as she’s slammed against the wall by an unseen force. Soon enough, her wings seem to bend in toward her body as if they were being squashed*
Sephiroth: *growls* So deal with it! I’m not doing this for nothing! * *backs down as the physical form tries to bite him, switching his tactics to defensive, swinging the sword over his head to attempt to slash the face as it comes at him*
Kalysto: *glares at the scene* I’ve never seen that before. Interesting…. *phase shifts out of the area, appearing on the Astral Plane shortly afterwards. He flares out his wings and tries to grab Sesshou’s attention with them* *”Looking for something better to play with?”*
Sesshou: *her physical body’s head easily gets sliced in half, for there are no real organs within the actual formation. In fact, after Sephiroth slices her head in half, she manipulates the body so that it continues to split in half, soon dividing into two smaller but twin versions of the original*
Jenna: *hisses in pain as Sesshou continues to wrap her actual metaphysical form around her body, trying to drain her. However, she just narrows her eyes and continues to focus on her spell, intending to radiate it now rather than just smash it into the snake*
Sesshou: *at the moment, her metaphysical form actually does look like a giant constrictor, for she is using it to try to crush Jenna. She momentarily looks up at Kalysto as he spreads his wings. However, she soon opens her maw in such a way that it hovers over Jenna, intending to snack on her instead*
Kalysto: *flicks an ear back at Sesshou’s behaviour and charges toward her, not very much liking being ignored. Once close enough, he raises his hooves and tries to stomp on her tail, roaring as he flares out his wings* *”That’s no way to treat a challenger. Come on, I’m a pipsqueak compared to that thing. Isn’t this the utmost form of insolence or something? Look at me, damn you!”*
Sephiroth: *backs up slightly as he watches the two halves form, and loudly growls* Somebody take one… *creates another destructive energy ball in his free hand and hurls it at the left half of Sesshou’s physical form*
Clawina: *narrows her eyes as she watches the scene below. She then looks up and notices the way that Jenna is behaving. After a moment, she turns to Seferia and nods before pointing toward Jenna*
Seferia: *simply nods in returns and slams a plasma charge into the launcher that she had constructed. Soon enough, she takes aim at Jenna before firing at her*
Jenna: *growls as she continues to struggle with the snake, who refuses to turn her attention toward Kalysto. Soon enough, she gathers enough energy that she begins to radiate out a large pulse blast of chaotic energy that tears at Sesshou’s spiritual form. As she casts her spell, though, Seferia’s charge smacks into her, which blasts her away toward one of the lower-most pipes in the reactor*
Sesshou: *the half that Sephiroth is attacking blows apart as it is smacked by the destructive energy. Any bits of oil that get on Sephiroth would soon begin trying to rip apart at his body*
Sephiroth: *snarls out to Seferia* Do you want her to kill the snake or not?! Don’t blow up our only means to get at it! *loudly growls in torment as the oil fragments that splattered onto him begin to attack him. He claws at his face and stumbles back, trying to get the oil off his face* Damn it…
Rhyderi: *lowers his head, gritting his teeth* This looks dire… *moves in and shoves Sephiroth aside while he is distracted and attempts to keep the physical form distracted onto him, bashing it with his shield*
Kalysto: *continues trying to get the attention of the spiritual form of Sesshou by stomping at her, roaring in anger* *”You’re not going to do anything about my insolence?”*
Sesshou: *quivers in pain from both the plasma charge that had struck her and Jenna as well as the injuries that Jenna had already delivered. Since she is distracted by the pain, her physical form’s attacks stop for a bit. In fact, the bits of “slime” that had coated Sephiroth just fall off him as Sesshou becomes distracted. However, she soon hisses and turns her attention on Kalysto as he roars at her* Gnat..
Kalysto: *smirks at Sesshou’s reaction and begins to back up, wanting to lead her away* Come get me. *stomps his hoof in a challenging manner and sways his tail, never taking his eyes off her* You know you want me. Come get some! *loudly chuckles and raises his ‘paws’, attempting to cast a fireball to hurl at her face*
Clawina: *snorts at what Sephiroth had told her earlier* Human, if you had paid attention, you would have noticed that the human girl was under attack. We solely attacked that which was attacking her. It is only unfortunate that she had to take the blast as well for that to occur.
Genesis: *Notices how the dragon-creature that he’s been fighting has stopped moving. He then frowns and looks at Sephiroth* What exactly is the nature of this beast?
Sesshou: *hisses in pain as the fireball strikes her, making her form deteriorate even more. She then snarls before quickly turning her attention back to where Jenna is. Hissing, she dives in toward her instead* Wretched traitor.
