Kalysto: *glares hard at her* So if you can do that without even thinking about it… what makes you think I’m going to be able to do anything? That was my strong suit and you just… *growls* I have nothing. You might as well just kill yourselves now and save yourselves the hassle…
Jenna: *cocks her eyebrow* So, first you are angry at me for the fact that you thought that you couldn’t do anything even though I said that you can probably provice help… And now you yourself are putting yourself down? *she shakes her head* You make no sense. *she continues to return the energy that she had stolen from him*
Kalysto: I thought it would be absolutely no problem at all, but.. *snarls* If you can trash my life essence in a matter of seconds, on the realm I am knowledgable in, what real chance do I have? It’s my forte.. and you wiped me across the floor with it.
Jenna: *groans at Kalysto* Listen, if we all help each other out and don’t try to play hero, such issues should be little problem. *she flaps her wings and then makes them disappear* Anyway, it’s me that she wants. As long as I’m around, she’ll have her attention mostly on myself.. and maybe Seph.
Kalysto: Yes, but she’ll take her focus off you for a momentary second to blow me up, and then go right back to you. *scowls* If you can render me useless, what do you think she’s going to do? You’re all going to die, horribly. *shakes his head*
Jenna: *loudly groans at the elf* For fuck’s sake… Listen, I wasn’t ever trying to tell you that you are a worthless spec. Ok? Now, will you settle down? *she grits her teeth* That one demon I fought. It mentoined things about you… Will having it at your side make you feel better?
Kalysto: No, it’s not going to listen to you. It’s mine… I was trying to get it back. I was nearly successful too, until you played hero and killed it. *glares* Good luck trying to convince it to come back. And don’t you dare try to force it against it’s will because it will make life difficult for me if you do it that way. We freely merged, and we mutally agreed to fuel each other’s strengths. You pulling it against it’s will, will ruin that.
Jenna: *crosses her arms* I repeat, will having it there with you make you feel more confident? This is not a hard question. *she shakes her head* It’s not that hard of a question to answer.
Kalysto: The answer to how I feel about it doesn’t even matter a damn. How do you even plan to make it come here? It’s even more unreasonable, fickle, and indecisive as you. Good luck catching it, it’s being particularly hard to find after what you did to it.
Jenna: *releases a deep sigh. She then closes her eyes and tries to contact the energy that she had felt from the demon when she fought against him before* ~You, demon, talk to this elf here. I don’t care what you two talk about, but I don’t feel like playing around.~
Bael: *”You… dare speak to me in my own domain, and you ask me to talk to the worthless sack of shit? That is almost unthinkable. Don’t make me laugh.”
Jenna: ~Yes, I do dare to do such. Your realm is not all that special at all. Now, please, just settle your differences with this elf so that he can stop sniffling about. It’s getting irritating.~ *she turns her back on Kalysto*
Bael: *”For what purpose? I gain nothing out of it. I have gained nothing for years. I do not want anything further from the elf, and so I no longer wish to have anything to do with it. Now, leave me be. I wish to discuss this no longer.”*
Jenna: ~All mortals have potential to learn and grow. This one is young, I can tell by his scent. Elves are also gifted with extremely long lifespans. You cannot say that you will never gain anything out of him.~ *she smirks* ~Mortals have much more potential to gain new ideas and powers than any from your realm can. Anyway, I know, the astral plane is dull and boring.~
Bael: *”I remain unconvinced. His predecessor was much more powerful than him, age for age. And considering the high mortality of his species in recent years, long lifespan does not account for very much.”*
Jenna: ~Perhaps where he came from, that may still be a true statement. As long as he is here though, I highly doubt his life will be cut that short.~ *she rolls her eyes* ~Anyway, I’m certain that the astral plane around this planet is not that friendly toward you. How long can you actually stand being in a foreign and boring realm, hm?~
Bael: *”What makes you think I do not belong here? What makes you think it is a foreign realm?”* *snarls in annoyance* *”You cannot win your argument, so you try to make side points. I am not interested in this stupid talk any longer.”*
Jenna: ~I know you don’t belong for several reasons. First, you came with the elf, did you not? The elf is not from this planet. Hence, you are not from this planet. Quite a simple deduction. Next, your energy gives you away. You feel like nothing that comes from this planet’s lifestream. Oh, speaking of which, I doubt this planet in and of itself likes having you around, so there’s another enemy for you where you are.~ *she shakes her head* ~I am simply putting out logic here. I can tell you one thing, this planet will not give you any other chances at a host. There are none that use his style of magic. And I wouldn’t permit my children to mingle with you if only to spite you.~
Bael: *”You amuse me. You think I exist in this tiny planet’s blood? You couldn’t be further from the truth.”* *finally appears in front of her, though he has a hard time fitting into the room* Silly little human. *reaches out to pat the top of her head in a condesending manner*
Jenna: *Ignores the way that the demon pats her head* You already know full well that I am not a human. *She snorts and points at Kalysto* Just stop this nonsense and merge with this one again so that he would stop being a whiney idiot.
Bael: That’s all you have to convince me with? I like it more when your kind snivels. *tries to push Jenna over, wanting to flatten her against the floor with his hoof* Get down and grovel. At least amuse me, pitiful mortals.
Kalysto: *flicks his ears back and grabs Bael’s tail, immediately biting it the moment he has the chance*
Jenna: *narrows her eyes at Bael as he tries to push her over. She then shifts into her hybrid form to build up her bulk. As she does this, she digs her claws into the ground in order to give her more stability* I bow before none. Never have, never will. *she snorts at him*
Bael: *laughs at Jenna’s attitude, at least until Kaly bites into his tail. He is lightning quick to swing around and knock the elf over before stomping on him with his hoof instead, pushing him into the ground* You don’t bow, you grovel. *chuckles darkly* Bowing is a sign of respect, grovelling is done in fear. Cower in fear of my might.
Kalysto: *simply stays still as Bael stomps on him with his hoof, not seeming terribly bothered as the demon attempts to flatten him* *”He’ll get tired of this soon enough… just let him do his thing.”*
Jenna: *shrugs then indifferently waves goodbye to the demon* Whatever. You are not worthy of fear. *with that, she turns around and intends to leave Kalysto alone with the demon, figuring that getting it to pay attention to the elf was enough*
Kalysto: *watches Jenna leave, sighing and shaking his head as best as he can considering the circumstances. He remains pinned under the demon’s hoof for some time, not moving until the demon decides to make up its mind on what it wants to do with him*
Sephiroth: *is still in the library, and has finished explaining the situation to Rhyderi* *”Are you coming back yet? Forget the idiot. We should really get moving.”*
