Jenna: *narrows her eyes at Kalysto* Oh, so you already know everything, huh? Then tell me, why do you not know that she is not part of that chain of command at all, hm? *she shakes her head and snorts* Her kind was created before their was any hierarchies. They were made to be the original caretakers of balance that would permit for a universe to survive. They were created before any shit about astral planes or planets or anything else like that were conceived. *she snorts then narrows her eyes* So, tell me, do you know the full extent of the dangers involved in taking her out? *She frowns at Rhyderi* Damn stupid youths..
Kalysto: I use the term “chain of command” loosely. Because, like any of that stuff obeys the bigger thing up the list. They’re just bigger, more powerful, capable of crushing the things under them. *scowls at Jenna’s attitude* Well if you’re going to be like that, I can always piss off and go on my own way without you. I don’t need you telling me that I’m stupid, or that I don’t know what I’m doing.
Jenna: *Groans and shakes her head* Going out on your own will undoubtedly lead to your doom… *she shakes her head* I am simply trying to share my knowledge of her with you two. Trust me, I know her better than anyone. I was bound to her before, after all.
Kalysto: Well fine, but there’s no need for you to be a jerk about it. *flicks his ears back and glares at her* I don’t need to do what you say. You’re not my leader, warchief, or whatever the hell you want to call it. You should be damned thankful I’m even here offering to help.
Jenna: *angrily clicks her claws together* And you are aware that we could simply find another to help us instead of you? So, you don’t need to be giving us so much lip, elf. *she shakes her head* As I said, I am simply trying to share my knowledge so that you don’t just get killed.
Kalysto: Oh bullshit, woman. You’re not “just” trying to do that. You’ve pretty much expressed your distaste of me since I got here. If you don’t want me here that much and you want to replace me, just go ahead and do it. *glares harder and folds his arms*
Jenna: *narrows her eyes* Well, perhaps you need not give me attitude first, hm? *she shakes her head then sighs* Ok, what exactly can the two of you actually provide anyway? Aside from a huge amount of dead weight- *she glances over Rhyderi* -and a huge amount of flack in the form of an uncontrolled mouth. *she looks at Kalysto*
Kalysto: If you’re going to keep on being like that, I’m going to offer nothing. *turns his back on Jenna and heads to leave the library* I’ll just go ahead and do it myself.
Rhyderi: Dead weight? *frowns at Jenna* You’re not a leader, are you?
Jenna: *growls and clutches her fists* Just answer the damn question, ok? I can’t suggest what you should do to help if I don’t know. Ok? *she then glares at Rhyderi* No, I’m not. *she points at Sephiroth* He was a general. I’m just.. nothing. *she narrows her eyes. She then grunts at Kalysto* Look, please, let us just work together, ok?
Kalysto: How can I work with you if you have no confidence in me at all? *scowls at her* I certainly don’t want somebody leading with an attitude like that. I’m more than capable of holding my own if the shit goes down. *stops in the doorway finally* Watch what you say, if you actually want to keep me around.
Rhyderi: *sighs at her* Would you like me to organize this group then?
Jenna: *bristles slightly, still quite annoyed. She then growls at Kalysto* You gave me attitude first, boy. Now, I want to put some trust in you, but you need to properly answer my questions. Such as, what can you do? I know nothing of the abilities of you or mister fat armor here. *she snorts then glances at Seph* If I had trust in anyone leading anything, I would put it in Seph. As I said, he was once a general over the largest and strongest empire on this planet. I am certain that qualifies him.
Kalysto: Again, absolute bullshit. I laugh at your pathetic claim that “I started it first”. Firstly, you pulled me away from my desk without even asking what I was doing. Then you seemed to make the assumption that I’m stupid and I don’t know what I’m fighting against. Then you called me stupid. So yeah, you can forget it.
Jenna: *teleports so that she appears in front of Kalysto. She then glares into his eyes* Listen, you will die if you go off on your own. *she bares her teeth, in a quite feral manner. Soon enough, she begins streaming to Kalysto a set of memories that include her encounters and defeats to Sesshou* I know how to fight her. You do not.
Kalysto: *glares back at Jenna, then raises a hand to place a finger on her nose, trying to push her away* I’m saying no, because your attitude sucks. If you really don’t think I know anything, go rally up somebody who does.
Jenna: *narrows her eyes. As she glares at him, her eyes temporarily shift to blood red before returning to their “natural” state. However, during that time, she does send out a single message* ~Little annoying pest. How fun it would be to skin you..~ Tell me, boy, what good would it be to try to avengs my daughter’s injury if you die in the process? *She snorts* No, I do not think that you know nothing. However, I do not know enough about you to know what you can or cannot do. What I do know is how to strike at the snake.
Kalysto: *laughs before pushing the door open to exit* *”You’re kidding yourself now, lady. You’re not that scary. And I’ve seen worse.”* *moves for the stairs, heading back up to his room so he can prepare for a solo-assault*
Rhyderi: *slowly shakes his head at his brother’s departure but says nothing. He glances at Jenna when she speaks to him and he turns his attention to the ceiling before replying* I can weild the light and use it as my attack. I can use it’s magic to bless my blade when I strike the enemy. I may also use the light to heal a comrade. Most of my attacks are physical in nature which will not help if this being is not of this realm, but my holy-magic will stike the creature’s tainted spirit directly.
Jenna: *glances up at Rhyderi. She then grumbles* The snake isn’t “tainted”, if that’s what you’re thinking.. *She shakes her head. She then sighs and moves out of the room* Seph, please try to prepare this one. You know about the snake as well as I do. *with that, she quickly moves to follow after Kalysto* Annoying elf..
Rhyderi: If it’s not tainted, it’s not tainted. Call it whatever you want. *shrugs* I can still strike it’s spirit with holy energies. That’s merely all I was saying.
Sephiroth: *sighs in annoyance* Alright. *scowls at Rhyderi and begins to explain what Sesshou is exactly* You better not be stupid about this.
Kalysto: *once in his room, he shut the door and pokes Droozun in the snout* Come on, we’re moving. *picks up the Felhunter and walks out of the room again, heading to exit the base*
Jenna: *finally catches up to Kalysto as he begins to head up to the base’s exit. Sighing, she rushes toward him then tries to grip onto his shoulder* Stop..
Kalysto: Stop? For what reason? *glances back at her, almost visibly bristling as she approaches* What do you want from me now? Have you come to gloat? Perhaps you’ve come to tell me I don’t know what I’m doing again?
Jenna: *groans at him then quickly moves to grip onto his arm* Listen, my apologies for making you irritated. I was not intending to insult you. Now, please, listen to me. If you go out there alone, you will only succeed at killing yourself. *she shakes her head* Do you really think you’d achieve anything or help avenge my daughter if you die in the process?
Kalysto: *flicks his ears back* What makes you think I’m going to die? *sets his Felhunter down, and phase shifts onto the Astral Plane, dissapearing from view. He re-phases behind her and lightly taps her shoulder, smirking* I know what she is. I also know how to hit her where it hurts.
Jenna: *suddenly pulls out her wings. She then reaches out to grip onto Kalysto’s throat before she begins draining out his very essense via using her wings. However, she holds back so not to kill him* Feel this? This is what she feeds on. Unlike me, she would drain you dry within seconds. *she narrows her eyes* Do you really think you can go up against her on your own when I alone can do this?
Kalysto: *growls as Jenna tries to choke him, then stumbles backwards once she releases him, collapsing onto the floor in a heap, drained from his experiences* F… why the hell would you do that…?
