Kalysto: *just mumbles in annoyance to himself as he takes Desiree back to the base, being cautious due to the fact Sesshou was after Desiree’s mother. He takes the girl to her room before departing to look for Jenna*
Jenna: *is currently downstairs with her new infant. She holds the girl in her arms and studies it, still pondering over what to name it. For the moment, at least, Jenna seems to be at peace. However, she is slightly irked that Sephiroth is still being lazy and sleeping in a helicopter that she parked over a few hours ago*
Kalysto: *appears in the doorway, glancing at Jenna for a few moments before clearing his throat* Something has happened. Desiree, your daughter. She was attacked by a member of the Astral Plane. One of the highest entities that is not a demon. *telepathically transmits an image to Jenna* And she is here, looking for you.
Jenna: *glances up as Kalysto begins to speak to her. As he speaks, a deep frown forms on her face before she dangerously narrows her eyes* The snake.. Hrmph.. Pathetic worm. *she then shakes her head* You said it attacked my daughter? Where is she? ~Seph, you better be awake!~
Kalysto: She requires medical attention. I put her on her bed in her room. She was…. trying to do something for me, and then that.. thing came for her. *shakes his head* But yes. She is upstairs and needs care.
Sephiroth: *”Maybe later, Jen….”*
Jenna: *Grits her teeth at Sephiroth’s response* ~Get your lazy ass out of that helicopter. I have just been informed that Desiree is injured.~ *her expression remains stern as she glares at Kalysto, though the anger is not specificly toward him at all* Lead me to her. Now.
Kalysto: What am I, your servant. Sheesh. *shrugs and moves for the stairs* Come. My father’s a healer, so he can work on her if you need it. He can work his voodoo magic to cleanse infection, mend bones and even reincarnate the dead.
Jenna: *cocks her eyebrow at Kalysto’s statements* Voodoo? The fake religion that involves chicken bones? Hmph… *she shakes her head and then growls to herself* ~Seph, get your ass over here now!~
Kalysto: Chicken bones? *shakes his head* Sometimes they decorate themselves with raptor bones. I once knew a Troll who fashioned a headdress out of a femur and several raptor war feathers. But that’s beside the point. *leads them to Desiree’s room* She’s here. And it will be some time before she’s awake, I’m sure.
Jenna: *moves in toward Desiree. She then deeply frowns at the gashes and rips that she sees along the girl’s body. Soon enough, she snaps at Kalysto* Well, go get your healer friend! Now! You should have done that before getting me. *She snarls. She then tries to get Sephiroth’s attention once more by psychicly slamming the image of their injured daughter at him*
Kalysto: *rolls his eyes at her* I have a backup solution to all of this anyway… *leaves the room to get Zulmire*
Zulmire: *quickly ambles into the room at Kalysto’s request. He moves over Desiree and shakes his head* Dis be no good, mon. *raises a hand over her and immediately casts one of his greater healing spells, topping it off with a sustaining one to prevent Desiree from getting any worse*
Jenna: *whips around, quite frustrated and angry in general. Not long after Zulmire begins working on healing her daughter, she stalks out of the room. She brushes past Kalysto, not seeming to give him much of a thought, then she storms out of the base. As soon as she’s out of the base, she shifts into her hybrid form and takes off toward the helicopter where she had left Sephiroth*
Dimitri: *had been wandering around and entertaining himself in a few of the rooms upstairs. At the moment, he had been peaking into Rhyderi’s room, a bit mezmerized by the illusion spell that had been cast on it. However, he soon looks out of the room as he hears the noises from Desiree’s. So, not long after Jenna leaves, he slowly moves inside, hesitant because he doesn’t know if there’s danger*
Sephiroth: *has left the helicopter by now and is flying back to the base. It is very probable that he will intercept Jenna on his way back*
Rhyderi: *watches the small winged boy and moves after him, partially out of curiousity, and because he wants to know what’s going on himself. When he sees the situation inside, he crouches down beside the boy and lightly touches his shoulder* They look pretty busy. Would you like to come with me?
Jenna: *was flying as quickly as she can toward the helicopter. So, when she passes by Sephiroth, it actually takes her a moment to notice and stop. She then hisses in frustration and flies over to him* Why the hell didn’t you respond??
Dimitri: *lifts himself up on his tip toes in hopes of getting a better view. He then whimpers as he spots the blood* Sister…? *he then blinks and looks up at Rhyderi* What’s wrong with sister?
Rhyderi: I am not sure, but I wouldn’t get in the way. Maybe you can see her later when she heals, hmm? *reaches out to touch the wings, curious about them*
Zulmire: *grunts at Kalysto* Keep an’ eye on her. *walks out of the room to head for the medical supplies. He returns in a few moments with a literal armful of bandages and gauze, along with antiseptic and cleaning things. He sets them all down and begins to get to work on cleaning Desiree’s worst looking wounds* She has broken ribs, mon. Gonna have to work some magic to realign dem….
Sephiroth: *shakes his head* Can we just focus on the issue? Where the hell is the snake now?
Dimitri: Wanna stay… *tilts his head as Rhyderi begins to touch his wings. He then slowly spreads them out to give the elf more access to him* Don’t break them. It hurt a lot. *he frowns and lowers his head. He then looks over at Kalysto* Why is sister hurt?
Jenna: *growls in irritation* Hell if I know where she is at the moment. I don’t even have a damn clue how she broke the dimensional seperators to get here! *she clenches her fists* She’s probably been going at it since we left…
Sephiroth: We need to track her down and isolate her immediately… so she can be sealed away forever. Or destroyed… *snarls* I was hoping you’d know something of how she got here. But she attacked Desiree first, hm? Maybe she knows something, and… *pauses as he senses something unusual in the area. He drops down out of the sky and wanders away from the base, heading for the area where Desiree and Kalysto were trying to attract Bael’s attention. He sees the Black Materia lying there on the grass and picks it up*
Kalysto: A creature came. A bad one. It attacked her. And now it’s gone.
Jenna: Based of what I was told, Desiree was hit before she even knew what was happening.. That might simply lead to a dead end. *She snorts then quickly moves to follow Sephiroth as he lands. She then tilts her head as he reaches into the grass* What is it?
Dimitri: *twitches his wings a bit as Rhyderi continues to poke at them. Most of the twitches are micro-spasms simply created by the way he’s touching the nerves* Sister will be all right. Right? She’s tough.
Rhyderi: I think so. The Shaman doesn’t seem too bothered. *moves his hand away from the wings again, then gives Dimitri a smile* You must get all kinds of comments about your wings, huh.
Zulmire: *once he has covered and bandaged Desiree’s wounds, he works on healing her broken ribs. He places his hands over her chest and begins trying to manually align them so he can cast spells on the individual ribs to allow faster knitting of the bones*
Sephiroth: What is it? *holds it out for her to see*
Dimtiri: *folds his wings up behind him, not feeling like keeping them stretched out. He then shrugs* Not really that much.. Family know all about my wings. *he pouts* Other man like father call me a demon though. Not right. But never listen to me. Not ever. *he then grins at Rhyderi* You like them?
Rhyderi: They are rather cool, I admit. I have wings of my own, but you can’t see them all the time. *shakes his head* They think you’re a demon? You’re not even close to one.
Sephiroth: *continues to hold out the Materia for Jenna to see, scowling* Seriously, look at it. Please tell me you see it and you honestly know what it is.
Dimitri: *Grins at Rhyderi’s comments* Oh, you have wings like mother and father then? Their wings come and go.. Though I don’t think I ever really saw Father’s wing. He never really brings it out. *he shakes his head*
Jenna: *tilts her head and glances at the orb* The black materia? What’s it doing out here?
Rhyderi: I don’t really know what your mother and father’s wings are like… but mine are… *scratches the side of his head* They’re made of holy light. I’m no angel or anything but I weild the light as my weapon. If that makes any sense.
Sephiroth: The hell I know… *quickly pockets it and scowls as he scans the area* But it was used for something, it’s lingering energies are still in the air. You might want to check Centra’s security cameras.
Jenna: *glances up* Well.. there’s no meteor in the sky, so it clearly wasn’t used for that.. *She then notices the broken tree and moves over to it. She frowns as she notices the traces of black “ooze” and blood around it* I would dare say that this is where Desiree was attacked.
Dimitri: Holy light? That sound strange.. *she shrugs and looks at Kalysto* He have wings too. I see them once. I know he have wings. *he nods* Purple and like mine, kinda. *He nervously flaps his wings slightly as he tries to recall Kalysto’s wings*
Rhyderi: Really? *blinks* That’s rather interesting…
Zulmire: *finally finishes up on Desiree, having patched her up as best as he could quickly. He stands back from her and checks her over to see if he missed anything* Okey. You lot be gettin’ out of here now. Girleh needs to rest an’ recover.
Sephiroth: *scowls* That monster needs to be contained and destroyed. Do you know where it’s gone?
