Jenna: *sighs at Sephiroth* If I knew that, I wouldn’t be standing here, Seph. *she shakes her head* I’m no longer bound to her. I can’t really sense her out like I used to. *She sighs* But yes, we do need to destroy her.. It could wind up easier with some back-up though. *she clicks her claws together in thought*
Dimitri: Mmmm-hmm.. He try say they not real, but I saw them. He have wings. *he then whimpers as Zulmire tells them that they need to leave* Wanna stay wit sister.
Zulmire: *glances down at Dimitri, but doesn’t have it in him to deny the youth’s request* Okey. You be stayin’ here then, yah? Don’t be makin’ much noise now. She be needin’ to sleep an’ to rest. *lightly pushes Kalysto* But you, get out. *steps away from Desireee, then raises his hand and transforms himself into a large wolf. With that, he sits at the foot of Desiree’s bed and puts his head on his paws, quiet*
Kalysto: *sighs* Fine… I’m going. Sheesh. *whaps Rhyderi’s head as he moves past him and out of the room*
Dimitri: *looks up at Kalysto as he leaves the room* Go kill one who hurt sister? Hope so.. *he then rushes over to his sister’s side. Soon enough, he sits down on the edge of her bed before whimpering at the site of her* She’s all bloody…
Zulmire: *glances up at Dimitri* *”She’ll get better. She has an accelerated healing spell on her. When she wakes up, I’ll give her some healing herbs. Your sister will be fine, so don’t worry yourself about her at all.”*
Dimitri: *glances up at the wolf. He then slowly nods* Ok… Hope they kill guy who did this to sister.. *he pats his sister’s shoulder. Then he just silently sits there, simply keeping a vigil on her*
Kalysto: *moves back to his room and shuts the door, turning off his light so he can focus on tuning his mind to the Astral Plane. He begins to travel it, and begins trying to search down Sesshou’s current location without attracting her attention*
Sesshou: *is currently pearched ontop of a mountain to the west side of the island. Since her attention is on trying to find Jenna and Sephiroth, she doesn’t pay any attention as Kalysto moves in to look for her*
Kalysto: *once close enough to her, he begins to try and check her over, wondering what sort of weaknesses she has that he can exploit. He is rather cautious though, and retreats before she can pick him up, not wanting to be consumed by her. He tries to contact Desiree’s mind, hoping it’s not damaged from the attack* *”So is this the thing that attacked you? This is really what it looks like on the other side of reality?”*
Sesshou: *depending on how good of a scan Kalysto is able to accomplish, he would either receive next to no information or quite a bit. For the most part, Sesshou is a colagramation of souls and energies from other life forms that have been stolen and used to build up her power and mass. These devoured souls are little more than simple energy that has powered her and have no singular identities any more. At the core of her being is her original form, which is little more than a small serpent-like being. As far as weaknesses go, her ability to hold onto her stolen energy can easily be disrupted by pure chaotic energies. However, there are few forces that can produce the required energy*
Desiree: *is unconcious, so she doesn’t respond to Kalysto at all*
Kalysto: *continues his observation of Sesshou from a safe distance, although he is rather discontent with what he finds. He simply stays there for some time, pondering her form and how best to pull it apart. While he understands what it looks like, he doesn’t know anything about how to destroy a creature of the Astral Plane of Sesshou’s particular status and nature. So, soon afterward, he retreats from the Astral Plane and goes in search of Jenna*
Jenna: *has suggested for Sephiroth to return with her to the base for now, since she can’t trace Sesshou at the moment. For the most part, Sesshou and Jenna have had enough experience with each other that either one can mask the location of the other without much difficulty, especially now that they are no longer tethered. So, Jenna doesn’t want to be out in the open while she doesn’t know where the snake is. She also wants to keep a close eye on the newborn. So, at least for herself, she has returned to her quarters and is trying to set-up one of the old cribs that had been used for previous offspring*
Kalysto: *makes his way down to Jenna’s quarters and stands in the doorway of the new nursery, silently watching Jenna put up the crib for the new infant. He doesn’t say anything for now and instead waits for her attention to move towards him*
Sephiroth: *has followed Jenna back downstairs, and is sitting on their bed with the infant girl and a bottle. He is currently trying to feed her, but it is not going well*
Jenna: *finishes placing fresh sheets ont he matress of the crib. She then pauses and tilts her head before turning around to face Kalysto. After examining him for a second, she cocks her eyebrow and crosses her arms* Yes?
Kalysto: The thing that attacked Desiree. You’re of the same thread of creation, are you not? Why do you not go after it, knowing full well what it is and what it is capable of? *narrows his eyes* It is a threat, and must be destroyed.
Jenna: *Frowns at him then sighs* You don’t know what you’re talking about… *She shakes her head* I am not exactly truly teh same thread of creation. I am an avatar for the one that is, but that being is dead and only a source of power. I, myself, am not it. *she sighs* As for going after it, neither Seph nor myself were able to locate her. As much as I want to hunt her down, I have offspring now. I cannot leave them unprotected.. *she then examines him over* Tell me, what exactly is your connection with my daughter?
Kalysto: There’s no connection really. I was just in the middle of a research task for… *glances off to the side, scowling* Let’s just say I was doing something via request. Desiree somehow made a rift into my world and my summoning circle was burned onto her floor. And then I teleported into her room. I haven’t been able to get back and I have been stuck here ever since. Beyond that… she’s just there, and I’m just here. *shrugs* You don’t know where the Lordess is? Right now, she’s idle. *points off to the west* I can travel the Astral Plane at will. I saw her not too long ago. She’s very easy to spot.
Jenna: *narrows her eyes at Kalysto* I did not mean a physical relationship. It doesn’t take much to figure out that you two have developed some form of relationship. However, I cannot quite figure out what exactly it is. *She snorts. As soon as he mentions where Sesshou is, she nods* Well, that much is useful.. *she clicks the claws of her right hand together*
Kalysto: *flicks his ears back* Well, I don’t really know. I would mention details, but that was mentioned before, and then the grey haired one got enraged and tried to kill me. It doesn’t matter. What does is… *grunts* Are you going to persue the Lordess or not? Because if you plan to kill it, I would like to come along. You will find my prowess as a demonologist and a weilder of shadow and flame quite useful.
Jenna: *rolls her eyes at Kalysto* You don’t do a good job of listening. I am not asking you what you two do together. Activities and emotional connections can be quite disassociated. *she shakes her head* No, I wanted to know what the level of your relationship is in terms of her. For, if you are indeed only using her, well… Let’s just say I won’t be pleased. *she then tilts her head as she listens to his proposal. Soon after, she snorts and looks to the side* I suppose we could use your help… Though it should have only been my problem and my alone. I am the one who has her attention.. Not any of you.
Kalysto: Hey, the Lordess attacked my friend and she nearly consumed my most loyal minion. As far as I’m concerned, it’s personal now. I could ignore it before, but now… *shrugs* And no, I’m not just using your daughter for sex. If I wanted tasteless sex, I would summon a Succubus and sacrifice it before it could rip off my genitals.
Jenna: Heh… If only my motives were so.. small. *She sadly shakes her head then smirks at Kalysto* Very well, you may help. I do not know for certain if you will be much help though, but we shall see. *she then moves past Kalysto, wanting to check up on her new daughter* Is any going into her mouth at all?
Sephiroth: *glances up at Jenna, then back down at the infant whom is busy squirming like mad and near having a screaming fit because she’s in a bad position and very uncomfortable* By all accounts and timing, she should be hungry. She hasn’t been fed since she left the hospital some hours ago. But she’s not feeding. I do not understand it.
Jenna: *releases a deep sigh. She then reaches down to gently take the infant from Sephiroth. Soon after, she grabs the bottle before attempting to feed the infant as well. As she does this, she glances over at Kalysto once more* If you know of others that will help us fight the snake, then gather them.
Sephiroth: *raises an eyebrow as he watches Jenna take up the infant and moves to his feet* Well, at least she’s feeding for you. She was fine earlier, I simply don’t understand it.
Kalysto: I know my brother would help, once properly convinced. His holy virtues and Paladin credos would annoy the hell out of anyone who doesn’t fart rainbows, though. *flicks his ears back in disgust* The old man would probably help too, but he’s a pacificist so would only assist you in healing battle injuries, not actual fighting. I could also probably talk to the Seferia of this world and see what she says.
