Desiree: Must be horrible having to depend on someone, or something, else to gain power from. *she sighs and squints as she spots something in the distance. She then suddenly dips down to pick up Kalysto, grunting in frustration at the fact that he’s not “light”. She then shoots off in the direction of the shadow that she saw*
Kalysto: It’s a long story… *blinks as she picks him up, then he leans over her, glaring at her back* Hey, what the hell are you doing? Where the hell are you planning to take me?
Desiree: Yea, yea, yea, and I’ll get bored by the story.. You love telling me that. *she shakes her head and smirks at him* I think I found your demon.. or a mound of dirt.. *She shurgs and continues to fly to the shadow. Soon enough, she simply drops Kalysto down onto the ground before landing a few feet away from him*
Bael: *is actually not too far away. He is on the other side of the destruction area, picking his way through bones and skulls. He has decided to take one of the larger dragon skulls with him, and drags it along the ground by one of its horns*
Kalysto: *sighs* I think that’s a mound of dirt.
Desiree: *scowls at Kalysto and snorts* He’s bound to be around here somewhere. *she moves a bit away from Kalysto. She then begins to look around once again. She stops as she notices that there’s a moving skull* Umm.. I don’t think bones move on their own.
Kalysto: They do when they’re reanimated. But you don’t know much about necromatic magic, do you. *follows Desiree’s line of sight and stares at the skull, scowling shortly afterwards* That really isnt very funny, is it.
Desiree: I”ve heard of Zombie dragons before… Father spoke of them briefly once. *She shakes her head* However that *she points to the skull* is not a reanimated anything.
Kalysto: *moves towards it, then glares hard into the distance* You’ve come to the end of the line. This will be the end of it. Now come on back to me, and stop wandering around.
Bael: *dumps the skull on the ground and materializes in front of Kalysto, looming over him, his tail swaying in annoyance* Foolish little dissapointment of an elf. I want nothing more to do with you.
Desiree: *Yelps as the skull is dropped on the ground. She then quickly moves over to Kalysto’s side as if that would provide extra protection. She then frowns as the demon appears and snorts* Oh, come on.. He can’t be that much of a disappointment.
Bael: *crouches down to glare at Desiree, his flaming eyes narrowing in dissaproval of her* And what would you know, pitiful little crossbred? I suppose you were good for something – allowing me my freedom from this weakling here. *snorts in her face and raises himself to full height again* I don’t know why you’ve come to me. I’ve done nothing wrong. *picks up the skull and snaps the jawbone off, placing the top half on his head so he can wear it like a hat, or a helmet*
Desiree: *scowls as Bael gets into her face. She then shakes her head* I’m good for more than just thatl… *She then deeply frowns as Bael takes apart the skull* Hey.. you really shouldn’t do that! It’s disrespectful. *she glances around* And most of the spirits from the guys who died here are stuck here. I doubt they like it either. Now, let’s just get you back with your master.
Bael: If they want to confront me, I shall happily take it up with them, and not you, foolish little hybrid. *turns his back to them and begins to casually walk off* I need nothing from either of you any more. Begone.
Desiree: *narrows her eyes at the demon* What? That’s it? *she scowls then looks at Kalysto* Well, he’s your demon. Go get him. *she crosses her arms*
Kalysto: *sighs* I’m its servant, not the other way around. *shakes his head and moves off after the demon, scowling* Stupid… *raises a hand out in front of him and casts a spell, surrounding the greater-demon’s feet with shadowy energies. He then uses these energy threads to pull the demon back towards him, straining with effort in doing so*
Bael: *falls to the ground with a loud hard thump and roars in defiance* Foolish mortal! *turns his head and attempts to billow fire at his attacker*
Desiree: *grumbles* Well, maybe it’s an idea to switch the roles, hm? *she rolls her eyes then yelps as she sees the fire heading to Kalysto. So, she quickly pulls up a psychic barrier in an attempt to protect him from the attack*
Kalysto: *concentrates the shadowy energies to his left hand and begins to cast the same thing in his right, coiling the shadowy tendrils around the demon’s neck in an attempt to choke him* I don’t really think that’s.. a good..
Bael: Enough of this nonsense! *flares out his wings and forces himself to his feet, breaking the bonds tied around him. He turns to face the elf and Desiree, then loudly roars in anger at them, stomping a hoof*
Desiree: *grunts at the force that had struck her psychic shield. She then shakes her head and looks at Kalysto* This is probably more or less your fight… I don’t know how to help you out. But I’ll try to keep you safe. *she nods, though it’s more to herself*
Kalysto: Don’t look at me… I didn’t break him away… *scowls and attempts to regain control over the demon by casting out the Shadowy tendrils again*
Bael: This charade ends now! *roars and thunders towards Kalysto, knocking him over with a kick once close enough. He then pins the elf to the ground with a hoof, snarling down at him, smoke rising from his maw as he pants* That is no way for a servant to treat it’s master. *begins to squash Kalysto into the ground with his hoof*
Desiree: *yelps as The demon pins Kalysto down. She then quickly creates a psychic blast to shove the demon into a nearby pile of bones, hoping to stun it as well. Once the demon is away from Kalysto, she moves to kneel down next to him and offers a hand to help him up* I’m certain that you can do this..
Kalysto: It’s alright… *moves to his feet again and dusts himself off* This is normal.
Bael: *makes a thundering loud angry roar as he is knocked back and swiftly moves to his feet again, flaring his wings out in an aggressive manner* Enough of this nonsense!! *bellows out another angry roar, and thumps on his chest with his fists. His eyes blaze with fire now as he makes his way back to the elf and he plucks him up by his collar, raising him above the ground* What is the meaning of this insolence!? You wish for me to protect you, you wish to serve me and this is the way you act?!
Desiree: *Sighs at Kalysto* ~I still think that if he’s going to treat you that way… you could probably go ahead and try to assert dominance by now. Why do you need to serve something like that?~ *she then grits her teeth as Bael picks up Kalysto. Looking over the demon, she tries to create a psychic force that would smash into the back of the demon’s left knee*
Kalysto: *”I don’t need to… I do by choice.”* *yelps ad he is flung away by the demon as it falls*
Bael: *topples off his feet again and makes an enraged sound, flinging Kalysto away in his trip to the ground. He is quick to spring to his feet again and he turns to face Desiree, hammering a hoof on the ground to cause a mild earth-tremor* Fool! Why must you persist with that behaviour!?
Desiree: *gives Kalysto a side-ways glance then narrows her eyes at Bael* I protect my friends. That’s all you need to know. *she frowns at the feeling of the tremor, but refuses to back down* You can’t be that powerful.. I’ve barely seen you do much at all that even touches what my family is capable of.
Bael: *lowers his head, snorting smoke and ash in her face* You would do well to leave things alone that do not concern you. *backs up again, growling* This has nothing to do with you. I am merely… correcting the idiot as has been requested of me. *glares back at Kalysto, then snorts* If you are trying to take me over, then you have failed. I am your master and that is how it is always going to be. How it is meant to be. Now… if you wish to become one again, that will occur when I am ready for it. *snarls* Idiot. *stomps off casually, wanting to get away from them*
Kalysto: *sighs in irritation* Damn demons…
Desiree: *Grits her teeth as she watches the demon proclaim himself superior and the master. She then narrows her eyes* You are in the physical realm… That means your body is flesh and blood, right? *she continues to glare at the demon. She then tries to use her psychic powers to directly attack the demon’s brain, hoping to impair him*
