Kalysto: *shrugs at her* I’m not going to mess with it. I already said that. Relax, nothing is going to happen. *watches her for a few moments, then closes his eyes, allowing her to stay there*
Desiree: Mmm.. I believe you. Don’t worry. *she closes her eyes and snuggles up a bit more against him. Soon enough, she relaxes and begins to drift off into a light sleep*
Kalysto: You’re trying to sleep out here? *shakes his head* OK… *tries to shift away from her, then gets to his feet. He glances at the raptor, then quickly glances around for signs of more of them* I wonder if they taste any good.
Desiree: *groans as Kalysto moves away. She then opens her eyes and frowns* Well, that didn’t last long.. *shaking her head, she yawns then gets to her feet as well* I don’t know.. I don’t eat raptor.
Kalysto: You never… *blinks* Want me to hunt some for you? The leg meat is probably the best part, honestly. The rest tends to be a bit stringy and dry. But it’s good if you baste it. Do you want me to hunt some down?
Desiree: *screws her face up in disgust* Umm.. I don’t eat intelligent, sentient creatures. Never been my style. *she shakes her head then glances around* Perhaps we should leave this spot.
Kalysto: Phh, sentient is debatable. But alright… if you’re so worried. *moves to his feet and dusts himself off* I’m guessing you want to move because you don’t want them to come over here and kill us because of what I said. So… pick a new spot.
Desiree: Well.. Mother once mentioned that there are still some linguist amoungst their tribe. *she shrugs* They probably understand what you’re saying. *she then tilts her head* Well… What did you want to do?
Kalysto: I wanted to stay there and burn shit to vent out my frustration. But whatever. I can burn shit elsewhere I guess, right? Doesn’t really matter much to me. If you want to go somewhere else, so be it. Lead the way.
Desiree: Hmm.. *she frowns in thought* I think I know a place. Though, I thought that you were done with the burning thing. *she shrugs then turns around. Soon enough, she begins to make her way to the wastelands that are the “last stand of Halcyon”. Upon entering the barren land, she glances back at Kalysto* I’m pretty certain that you can cause destruction here without being disturbed.
Kalysto: *follows her into the waste-land, scowling at what he sees when he walks into the area* What the hell happened here? *shakes his head* Hmm… *crouches down the pick at the dust, though he is nowhere near as good at reading it as his Shaman-caretaker is* Are you sure you want me to add my own mark here?
Desiree: *shrugs* I don’t really know what happened. I know that a few of the spirits that still linger around this area say things about invaders, slaughter, and then something about my mother.. But it’s all very unclear. *She shakes her head then glances at Kalysto* Why not? I’ve practiced magic here.
Kalysto: *shrugs* You just don’t want to piss the spirits off I guess. Most of them are tools. But still don’t wanna piss off the rampant ones. Oh well. *raises his hands into the air and begins to cast a fire spell, his hands searing with heat as he does so. Within a heartbeat, firey chunks of rock rain down from the heavens and crash down in the immediate area all around him*
Desiree: *Yelps as the fiery chunks begin to come down. She then quickly scurries away to lean against the backside of a fallen dragon’s skull* Some warning could have been nice.. *sighing, she moves to sit down on the ground*
Kalysto: *glances at her as he continues to cast the rain of fire* You could have heard it coming from a mile away, silly. *shakes his head and lowers his hands again, ending the spell* There’s nothing out here to cast things on.. I’m dissapointed.
Desiree: Hrmph… Couldn’t have. *She shakes her head then sighs* Yea, this is basically a dead space. Whatever spell was cast on here.. nothing grows.. no animals settle. Maybe a few bugs. *she shrugs* I have no idea what type of spell it was though.
Kalysto: Probably some kind of… decay spell. With a powerful curse in it, so it’s persistant. *hums in thought* Whatever did it, they knew what they were doing, that is for sure. *glances down at the ground, then frowns* I feel an odd prescence being here. The shaman would most likely turn and run, but… when you’ve seen the depths of hell itself, nothing bothers you any more.
Desiree: Hmm… *she frowns in thought* I’m good with illusions.. I suppose I can try to see if I can make a spell that would at least show what happened here. *she shrugs* Never tried that sort of thing before though.
Kalysto: No, don’t bother. It’s telling a relatively useful story as it is. *shakes his head in thought, then glances around* Can you see cloven hoof marks in the ground? I wonder…
Desiree: Umm… *looks around at the ground and narrows her eyes* No. I see bones, lots and lots of bones. *she stomps her foot on the ground* I think it’s a bit too hard to leave much of an impression on the ground unless you weigh a few tons.
Kalysto: I’m just thinking, that’s all. This seems like the sort of thing that Bael would be drawn to. He went somewhere… I need to get him back and, well… *shrugs* It’s hard to explain. Oh well. It was just an idle thought. Go ahead and use your illusionary magic to tell this place’s story if you want.
Desiree: *quickly shakes her head* No, it really wasn’t important at all. *she glances around* Yea, I can see a demon liking this area. We can try to track him down. *she continues to look around then glances at Kalysto* You’re more familiar with him. Lead the way.. *she frowns* Though, why is that one in particular so important?
Kalysto: *stares at her for a good few moments, then shakes his head* Don’t worry about it. I just want to get it back. *narrows his eyes as he scans the area, humming in thought to himself* It’s not left the island, that is for certain.
Desiree: *releases a soft sigh* Why can’t you just tell me? *she shakes her head* It’s not like I haven’t been able to figure out your explanations on other stuff to date. *she then narrows her eyes as she continues to look around for a sign of a demon. Soon enough, she begins to levitate a few yards up in the air so that she can have a better view point*
