Desiree: *Deeply frowns* This time… It was all my father’s fault. He overreacted to something that he shouldn’t have at all… *she shakes her head* He had no right to try to kill Kalysto like that.. *She then steps away as Zach returns with the splint* I don’t think that he was able to hear out of it well with the other bandage..
Zach: Oh, well… Good. I probably didn’t need to look at it, then. *finishes bandaging up the ear, then applies a second bandage around the elf’s head to secure the ear in place so it won’t shift while healing* It shouldn’t end up crooked. He should be lucky.
Zulmire: Heh… *seems amused* Not da first time somebody tried to kill him.
Desiree: Thank you, Zach.. *She gives her brother a small grin* I appreciate all that you’ve done. You did a good job. *she nods then looks down at Kalysto* A pity he had to be knocked out for something so simple.. *Shaking her head, she returns to patting Kalysto’s head* ~Wake up. It’s all done and over with.~
Kalysto: *doesn’t make a reply at all and remains out of it*
Zach: Eh, well. If it hurts, treat it with something to fix it. That’s the philosophy of anyone who heals or treats people. Oh, and If you’re trying to wake him up… he’s going to be knocked out for some time. Or at least until the gas wears off. It’s pretty nasty stuff.
Desiree: *sighs then slowly nods her head* Ok, I understand… *she pats Kalysto’s head one last time before turning around and frowning at Zulmire* You should probably leave him alone to rest as well.. *shrugging, she walks past the troll then moves into her room to relax*
Zulmire: I don’t need t’ go anywhere. He’s gonna be resting or comatose regardless of whether I be here or not. Y’know dat, right? *moves to sit down on the floor, appearing aloof to the situation despite the fact that he wants to keep a close eye on it all*
Desiree: *relaxes on her bed and yawns. Upon relaxing, she mutters to herself* Father had no right hurting my friend like that. *So, she releases a deep sigh and decides to just rest while Kalysto is still camatose. Despite the fact that she’s resting, she keeps herself aware enough so that she’d notice any noises coming from Kalysto’s room if he does wake up*
Kalysto: *remains comatose for the next half-day or so and wouldn’t make any noise. Meanwhile, Zulmire keeps an eye on him, not moving very much as the time passes. However, towards nightfall, he begins to stir again and rolls onto his side, not feeling up to getting up right now*
Desiree: *continues to nap in peace for the remainder of the day. She curls up in her bed and makes herself quite comfortable as she sleeps. However, as night comes, she begins to wake up as well, mostly because she slept for the entire day. Yawning as she stirs, she slowly pushes herself out of her bed before moving into her own bathroom to clean up a bit*
Jenna: *Had been sleeping for most of the day. For now, though, she’s quite awake. And unlike most other days where she doesn’t feel like moving about, she is trying to get out of the room and at least move about some. If she gets past Sephiroth, she would wander into the kitchen*
Sephiroth: *watches Jenna move about and keeps a close eye on her. He doesn’t want to dote over her and at the same time he doesn’t want her to harm herself. So when she leaves the room, he simply moves to his feet and follows behind her, keeping close watch on what she does*
Kalysto: *makes a weak groaning noise and rolls onto his stomach, kicking the bedcovers off himself due to the fact he feels like he is overheating*
Jenna: *doesn’t pay any attention at Sephiroth at all because he’s not trying to stop her. However, half-way to the kitchen, she suddenly stops then tilts her head. Soon after, she begins to chuckle to herself* Hmm… new people here. No supposed to be here at all… Wonder why they here.
Desiree: *Finishes up in her restroom. Soon after, she wanders over to Kalysto’s room to check up on him. She walks over to the side of his bed before examining him over. Upon noticing that he’s kicked off his sheets, she softly chuckles*
Kalysto: *barely acknowledges her prescence when she examines him, except for a vague flickering of his good ear when he hears the sounds of movement around him. He would feel quite warm to the touch due to the fact that he has developed a fever*
Sephiroth: *scowls at Jenna’s change of attitude, but says nothing and just monitors her from a distance*
Desiree: *Reaches in to gently brush off a stray hair away from Kalysto’s cheek. However, she pauses and frowns as she notices how hot he is at the touch. She then moves her hand over to touch his forehead* Damn… *she groans* Great, now you’re sick as well… *She then straightens up and looks at Zulmire* Have you even moved??
Jenna: *hums to herself for a few more moments. She then begins to wander away toward where she senses a lone new source of power, which is Rhyderi*
Zulmire: *cracks an eye open and looks up at Desiree as she asks her question. He makes a slow nod, then closes his eyes again* I move, girleh. Is just, right now there’s really no need t’ move, is there?
Rhyderi: *is in the base’s tunnels, exploring the spare rooms around the area where Desiree’s room is located. When Jenna approaches him, he turns to face her, neither appearing friendly nor unfriendly* Can I help you?
Desiree: *grumbles* Well, I guess not… Though you’re doing a whole lot of nothing. *She snorts to herself then narrows her eyes* You said that you’re a healer, right? Kalysto’s forming a fever. He’s probably got some sort of infection. Do you know anything that will help him out? Or do you know how to just sit there and stare?
Jenna: *pauses as she spots the new elf. She then tilts her head to the side before chuckling* Heh, putrid power… Disgusting.
Rhyderi: What’s putrid? *blinks, then narrows his eyes at her* What’s wrong with you? Are you offended by the Light which has blessed me?
Zulmire: *wrinkles his nose, almost looking offended for a moment* I know how to commune wif da spirits when somethin is wrong, does that count? *moves to his feet, then leans over Kalysto to touch him* Dis be somethin he fight off himself. Is pretty common for somet’in like this to happen after sustaining a large injury. You’re right, girleh. He’s gettin an infection. I already know about it.
Jenna: *chuckles once more at the paladin who is standing in front of her* Blessed? Blessed you think? *she chuckles* No, no, no. Thief is thief. Can sense it well. Theiving little thief.
Desiree: *blinks at Zumire as he speaks. She then snarls* You have gotta be shitting me. Your only bit of advice is to just let him fight it? Do you ever heal a single thing where you come from? *She loudly snorts* He probably needs some sort of medicine… But heaven help me if I know what drugs work on his species!
Rhyderi: Thief? I’ve stolen nothing. What in good grace’s name is wrong with you, woman? *narrows his eyes further at her strange behaviour*
Sephiroth: *snorts* Leave things alone that you do not understand. *pulls Jenna’s arm back, wanting her to get out of the place*
Zulmire: What do yeh want me to do? Feed him? His internal stomach injury needs t’ heal up before you feed anythin to him. He has a hole in his stomach – what d’ya think is going t’ happen if you put somethin in there? You’re goin to make it worse. Right now all ya can do is leave it be to heal. Ridicule me all you like, but dat’s all yeh can do for now.
Desiree: *narrows her eyes* Never heard of an IV tube? *Groaning, she shakes her head* Damn, it was your advice not to give him any surgery. He’s probably going to die thanks to your advice.
Jenna: Stolen power. Can feel it clearly. “Light”, you say, not given freely. You theif. *She chuckles and shakes her head. However, she soon turns her attention to Sephiroth as he grips onto her* Huh? What’s wrong, my love… *her eyes droop slightly, as if she’s half-asleep*
Zulmire: No, he’s not goin t’ die. But you have to let him heal. *picks up the bedcovers and places them over Kalysto once again* You didn’t want the kid to perform surgery on him. I didn’t either, he looked like he didn’t know what he be doin. Y’ don’t need to worry – da elf will naturally mend on his own. Jus’ keep him hydrated an’ he will do the rest.
Rhyderi: There is something seriously wrong with that woman.
Desiree: *Grumbles* Fine… But if he dies… *whimpers at the thought. She then shakes her head and reaches back to grab the mana thistle that she had brought into the room earlier* I’ll try to make this into tea… He likes tea. *with that, she rushes toward the kitchen*
Jenna: *tilts her head to look back at Rhyderi. She then blankly stares at him for a moment* Who are you?
Zulmire: He’s not gonna die, relax girleh. I already be tellin you what t’ do about him. *watches her leave the room* I don’t think tea is gonna be helpin, somehow.
Rhyderi: *sets his axe down on the ground, narrowing his eyes* Alright, what’s your deal? Are you posessed by an evil spirit or not?
Desiree: *frowns as she enters the kitchen* Damn… I don’t have a damn clue how Kalysto makes this stuff into tea… *sighing, she glances down at the leaves in her hands. She then frowns in concentration before trying to contact the astral plane* ~Hey, Kalysto says he has more than one… “minion”? Are any of you intelligent?~
Jenna: *tilts her head and continues to blankly stare at Rhyderi* Didn’t answer.. Still don’t know who you are…
*there is a loud angered rumble near Kalysto’s location before Desiree is contacted by one with a very large dark presence* *”Are any of us intelligent. What a question. I would say more intelligent than the servant himself. But you don’t want to know that, do you. So. Why are you really asking, tiny human?”*
Rhyderi: What? *sighs* Who cares who I am. What about you? Your personality flipped about ten seconds ago.
Desiree: ~Well… I guess you’ll do… You’re one of his minions?~ *she shakes her head before muttering* Strange… *sighing, she decides to continue on* ~He’s comatose, but I want to know how to make his tea..~
Jenna: Hmm…? Don’t know what you’re talking about… *she leans against Seph’s side before muttering* My love…
