Jenna: *rolls her eyes at Sephiroth* We are not brother and sister. I see no reason why they would think touching each other would be appropriate from watching us interact. None of the other children ever gathered that idea by being around us. *scoots over to Orion and plucks the washcloth off of his face* Your father is a mean man, isn’t he? *smirks back at Sephiroth*
Xelong: *hisses in annoyance at Aeris and shakes his head* ~Not until We’re inside. Just a bit further, then you can lie down on a nice comfortable bed and relax.~ *grunts with frustration and continues walking forward. He nudges the door open with his head. Finally, he stops in Zack and Holly’s room and tries to position himself so that Aeris can be pushed up onto the bed* ~Zack, can you help me now?~
Zack: *follows Xelong, holding the base of Aeris’s left wing so she doesn’t slide off. He follows Xelong into the bedroom and lifts Aeris up onto the bed, finding it a bit hard, even with his strengthened muscles* There… whew.
Aeris: *slowly opens her only good eye and raises her head, slumping it back down on the bed after a moment*
Holly: *was resting at the time, and sits up, surprised by the sudden movement on the bed* What’s going on? Why are you putting that dragon on the bed? *blinks and stares at Zack* You’re back… what happened to you?
Sephiroth: Phh, I meant in inappropriate places…. *moves back in the tub to splash water on his back* I’m not that mean really.
Orion: *makes a rather annoyed growl and shakes off his head. Then he moves to the edge of the bathtub and raises one leg up, wantign to climb out*
Xelong: *lifts his head so that his snout is pressed against Aeris’s. He gently licks her snout and grins at her* ~Shh, you should rest. You’ll heal up faster if you allow yourself time to rest.~ *lifts his head further so that he can look over at Holly* ~Sephiroth found Zack for us. Zack hasn’t told me the story yet, but that can wait til later.~ *suddenly swishes around. Once facing Zack, he reaches over to nip the man on the tush* ~Go get Holly that ring now!~
Jenna: So did I. The older children used to sleep in a room right next door to ours and heard our nightly activities. Did you see any one of them show interest in incest? *looks over at Orion and sighs* Be careful, young one. *scoots over to the boy so that she can support him as he climbs out of the tub*
Sephiroth: *”That wasn’t what I meant, Jen. If I had touched you when you had lifted your leg up onto me, perhaps Orion would have gotten the idea to touch somebody else. I know the children never showed any incestual tendencies, but it is still something I am a mild bit concerned about.”*
Orion: Aah! *tumbles over the edge and thumps down on the tiles, standing up again. He begins to walk towards the door, still sopping wet*
Zack: *makes a sharp yelping noise as his buttock is bitten* Ack! Okay okay, I get it, I’m sorry… *moves over to Holly and gives her a quick peck on the cheek, running out of the room again* I’ll see you later!
Holly: *seems taken aback as she’s kissed, then watches Zack leave* Where is he going? He only just got back too. *folds her arms, looking annoyed* Why, that is downright irresponsible.
Aeris: *”What happened…? It hurts so bad…”* *makes a rather sad painful squeak*
Jenna: As I said, the other children have seen us touch each other and be intaminte. *shakes her head* It doesn’t really matter. *stands up, deciding to follow Orion* Just finish getting clean, Seph. I’m going to dry off the boy then put him in some clean clothes. *grabs a few towels. First, she drapes one around herself, then she picks up Orion and begins to dry him off*
Xelong: *grins and nods at Zack before looking over at Holly* ~Oh, trust me. This time, it’s not irresponsibility. You’ll see when he comes back.~ *gives the woman a big toothy grin* ~He just needs to go out and buy something very important before I’ll let him stay around.~ *turns his attention back to Aeris* ~Shh.. You’re safe. Just rest and allow yourself to heal, Aeris.~
Aeris: *scrapes her claws at the bed and tries to stand up* *”I want to get down…”*
Holly: *seems rather confused at Xelong’s grinning, but slowly nods her head* Alright, I’ll wait and see what happens. He better not be doing anything stupid. I don’t want him to vanish for another week, or however long he feels like this time. Mei needs him, she gets so sad.’
Sephiroth: Hmph… I will. *continues washing himself off, wetting off his hair and picking up the shampoo so he can wash it* I will stay in here, but not for much longer.
Orion: *lowers his head and fidgets as he is dried off, but soon calms down enough to stay still for her, liking it*
Xelong: *frowns at Aeris’s struggling and licks the tip of her snout once more* ~No, don’t do that. You’re still drugged up and you’ll only hurt yourself if you try to stand up so soon. Just stay and relax, you’re safe. Holly won’t hurt you.~ *looks up at Holly though he doesn’t stop licking Aeris’s snout* ~Trust me, this time he’ll be back in only a few hours. He just needs to get something before I’ll let him stay in this room with you. You’ll like it.~
Jenna: *nods at Sephiroth* Understood. Take as much time as needed to get your hair perfectly clean. *broadly smirks* Afterall, you can’t have any imperfections, now can you? *release a soft chuckle before stepping out into the main bedroom. She continues to dry off Orion before setting him down on her bed* Now, let’s get you dressed. *begins unfolding the child’s clothing and preparing it for being placed on the boy*
Orion: *playfully growls as Jenna rubs him dry, then fidgets int the towel, grabbing onto the side of it as he tries to get away from her. He stands still and raises his arms up so Jenna can put a shirt on him properly, but is clearly impatient and wanting to get away and play*
Sephiroth: *”It’s not about imperfections, its just because I need to get clean again…”*
Aeris: *”I’m alright, I just want to go outside in the sun…”*
Holly: You told him that he needed to buy you something important before you’ll let him come back here? That’s a little mean you know.
Jenna: *rolls her eyes* ~I meant the extra time you take on cleansing yourself. You do it in a tedious manner as if you’d miss a single nanometer of dirt specks on your body if you don’t.~ *grabs Orion’s underwear and begins trying to slip them onto the boy as well. If needed, she’ll lift the boy up before putting the lower half of his clothing on*
Xelong: ~No, you need to stay indoors for a bit, Aeris. You just had surgery and you need to rest.~ *frowns at her* ~You’re missing an eye..~ *directs his speach to Holly* ~Oh, it’s not mean. He’s been delaying for too long. He needs to buy this one thing. You’ll like it, I know it.~
Aeris: *”I’m missing an eye…?”* *jerks her head up and tries to stand* *”It couldn’t be repaired? What else am I missing…?”* *struggles towards the end of the bed, kicking Holly’s leg in the process. She opens her eye and looks around the room, then tries to open the other eye socket* *”It’s stuck…”*
Holly: *promptly moves away from Aeris after being scratched by her hind leg claws* Take it easy and calm down, little dragon. You’re going to hurt somebody. *reaches over to pat her back*
Orion: *grumbles as he is picked up and wiggles his legs a bit* Nnmm… *frowns* No. I wan’to get down. Down!
Xelong: *reaches up to gently bite onto the base of Aeris’s neck, trying to indicate to her that she should stay still and not trying to hurt her* ~Stop it. You need to wait a bit for the anestetics that were used to keep you asleep while you were being operated on. You can’t open your one eye because it’s sewed shut.~ *speaks to Holly* ~Can you get a mirror? I think it’ll calm her down if she can look at herself.~
Jenna: Not until your pants are on. *firmly holds onto Orion and finally finishes getting him dressed. Once all of that is done, she sets the boy down on the floor* There, we’re all done. Now you can go downstairs and play with your siblings.
Orion: *makes a rather happy noise at Jenna and jumps off the bed, crashing down onto the floor* Than’koo mot’er!! *mmediately runs from the room, thundering up the hallway to the stairs. He begins to slowly climb down them, due to the fact his legs aren’t long enough yet for him to just step down them just yet*
Sephiroth: *pulls the bathplug out of the tub after finishing up, then he wraps a towel around his waist*
Aeris: *”I need to drink some water…”* *puts her head down and curls her wings up on her back* *”I feel like I’m going to die.”*
Holly: A mirror? I think there’s one around here somewhere… *leans over the side of the bed, and soon finds a portrait sized mirror, holding it up for Aeris to see herself* There. Why does the blue one want to look at herself?
Jenna: *chuckles at Orion’s enthusiasm and shakes her head* Well, that one is bound to be a hand-ful when he gets older. I can’t imagine him slowing down one bit. *glances down at the mess on the bed. She sighs before she begins to pick up the dirtied clothes and towels. As soon as that is done, she heads into the closet and picks out a comfortable outfit to wear, which turns out to be a loose fitting pair of black pats and a simple black shirt.*
Xelong: ~She just had major surgery and lost an eye. At least, that’s what Zack told me. It’ll probably help her if she can see the damage.~ *lets go of Aeris’s neck then trots to the bathroom. As he heads that way, he picks up a pan that he regularly drinks from* ~I’m going to get her some water. Try to keep her calm.~
Sephiroth: *dries himself off and heads into the bedroom, shutting the door behind him* I see the boy is already gone. I also heard him. I do wonder if he is going to continue being that noisy.
Holly: Sure, what do I have to do? *moves the mirror in front of Aeris’s face* Come on, girl. Look at yourself.
Aeris: *slowly opens her left eye and closes it again, her ears drooping* *”I can’t see ahead of me any more…”*
(hmm… so you have Aeris having side-facing eyes? I usually give my dragons forward-facing eyes since all predators have eyes that face foward. Ones that face the sides are usually reserved for prey species who need to watch what’s going around them. Meanwhile, predators watch what’s going on infront of them very closely so that they can judge movement..)
Jenna: *steps out of the closet, shaking out her hair in order to help it dry some more* Yes, I imagine that he will. *walks over to stand behind Sephiroth and presses her hands against his lower back* He has all your energy and more, it seems. *smirks* And just as troublesome as you were as a youth.Xelong: *moves into the bathroom and nudges the bath nozzle with his snout to activate the flow of water. Then, he fills up the pan. Once the pan is completely full, he pulls away and turns around so that he can flick the nozzle again with his tail to turn off the water. Finally, he re-enters the bedroom and tries to slide the pan down infront of Aeris* ~Here you go, Squeak. Water.~
She’d be able to see ahead if she moved the bridge of her nose down, like a wolf does when it’s hunting. But if the head is up and straight normally, they can’t see forward nearly as well. I should draw up something that would be easier to understand, its clear in my mind.
SHe could see forward, but not with the head relaxed out on the bed.
I wonder if I made sense….
Sephiroth: *purrs, feeling the warmth of Jenna’s hands radiating through his skin* Most of our children are very active when they are young. Then they lose interest and sit in front of the television.
Aeris: *raises her head up to lap up the water, slopping it over her muzzle and onto the bed in the process. She laps up with effort, due to the fact she is very thirsty*
Yep, that makes sense. Sorry, just wanted a visualization of what her eyes look like on her head.
Jenna: *releases a soft chuckle* That’s not completely true, Seph. Seres has been just as active in practicing with her weapons as you were when you were younger. Azul is also quite active and happily takes in all the tips and tricks that I’ve shown her. *smirks* Though you do realize that the techniques I’ve been teaching her so far will lead to her having a carreer as an assassin, right?Xelong: *releases a deep sigh as he watches Aeris drink then looks over at Holly* ~Thank you for being patient with her. I just didn’t know what other room to bring her into. She’s probably in a lot of pain..~
Ah, just visualize a T-rex skull with a longer less rounded snout, or something like that. I would be using it for base anatomy reference anyway.
Holly: I’ll do my best to care for her, but I don’t really know what to do… I never really owned a pet before. And I know you guys aren’t like dogs, but you’re not people either. I just don’t really know what I’m doing. I don’t know how to feed you, what you eat, whether you need grooming, or how to make you comfortable…Sephiroth: Azul would make a good asassin? I’d agree with that. She enjoys tormenting her siblings by pouncing on them. I suppose the children are active, but some are most definitely not.
Xelong: *looks up at Holly and shakes his head* ~You don’t need to take care of her. I’m certain Zack will tend to her medical needs once he returns. I just needed to set her down someplace so that she can rest. Anyway, she was once a human, so she can easily relate to you.~ *nuzzles the side of Aeris’s neck* ~Do you remember what happened to you? How’d you get hurt, Squeak?~
Jenna: *grins at Seph* Yes, the male ones are quite lazy. You must be giving them a gene to make them lazy. *softly chuckles* And I think that Azul could possibly be successful as an assassin, if she would start focussing. I also need to convince her to start paying attention to technology since she’d have problems if she gets caught by simply not noticing a security system. *shakes her head* The girl has quite a ways to go. *moves to stand infront of Sephiroth then presses herself up against him* So, are you going to tell me all about your adventure?
Aeris: *”I just followed Sephy through the portal he made and next thing I know we’re in the middle of a city. So he walked along the street and walked into a night club, then made me stay at the table while he went out the back. I got kicked out and had to go out there, and then I saw… horror.”* *closes her eye* *”Bits of people were ripped up and strewn everywhere in the alleyway behind the nightclub. There was blood all over the walls and heaven knows what around the ground. It was just awful…”* *slowly shakes her head* *”Then Jenna was there. She was arguing and talking with Sephy. Sephy seemed mad so I stayed back… and then, well…”* *shivers and curls her tail up around herself, scrunching her wings up against her back rather tightly*
Sephiroth: There isn’t much to tell – we followed a version of you into a night club, I followed you out into the alleyway and then you went crazy and beat both of us up. The only reason I got away was because I activated the wrist portal device before you could do much worse. Then, I went alone to the second place. It was a boring corn field somewhere. I simply just flew over the land scanning for Zack’s life energy and found him in wilderness.
Xelong: *blinks as he hears Aeris’s story and tilts his head before looking up at Holly* ~Jenna? Do you really think that she would have done this to Aeris? She’s never seemed quite that violent to me…~ *frowns and then nudges Aeris’s side* ~It’s alright, Squeak. You’re safe now. No one here is going to hurt you. Calm down. Are you certain it was Jenna who you saw? Maybe it was someone else? Was she the one who hurt you? How’d she hurt you? I don’t understand at all.~
Jenna: *nods* Well, that sounds easy.. *shrugs, deciding that it’s not important enough to dig out any more information from Sephiroth. So, she shakes her head then presses herself against Sephy* Now, you’re still naked and I’m dressed… What do you propose we do about that, hm? *gives Sephiroth a devious smile*
Aeris: *”No, it was Jenna…. I’d know that face anywhere. It was her, she was crazy, she beat both of us…”* *begins making soft miserable noises like she is crying, but because dragons are incapable of creating tears, she just makes miserable noises in the back of her throat*
Sephiroth: *smirks at her* It’s not even that late in the day yet. You really don’t care much for the time when you make suggestions, do you hmm?
Xelong: *Sighs and shakes his head* ~You’re safe now, Aeris. Calm down, no one’s going to hurt you now.~ *Shakes his head and tugs her leg, wanting to help her get down to the floor so he can comfort her with more ease* ~Holly, can you help me? Just nudge her hind and keep her from simply toppling over.~
Jenna: *grins up at Sephiroth* Well, this is all up to you. You’re the one who is only wearing a towel at the moment. *lifts herself up onto her toes so that she can reach up and kiss him on the lips* You’re also too tall for your own good. *smirks*
Sephiroth: I am not too tall, you are just not tall enough. Get yourself some platform shoes if you really have a problem with my height. *purrs and lowers his head to kiss her* It may be more appropriate to do something later, but for now I should be doing more work. I don’t know how long I was gone for…
Holly: Like this? *begins to shove Aeris off the bed, sliding her along with the bedsheet*
Jenna: *shakes her head* You weren’t even gone for twenty-four hours, Seph. Anyway, it’s the weekend. You’ll be fine if you choose to take the day off. *caresses his sides* I know that I can think of a number of fun things we can do together. Though I’m not going to where platforms. Those thngs are just stupid.
Xelong: ~Yes, yes, that will do. Just be careful. We don’t want to hurt her.~ *Finally pulls Aeris down onto the floor and insures that she is in a safe position. Then, he lets go of her paw and moves to lie down next to her* ~Zack, how much longer will you be? Have you found a suitable ring yet?~
