“Albert?” Sephiroth’s eyes narrowed. “You’re familiar enough with this person that you’re on a first-name basis with him? I didn’t know this.” He folded his arms and gave Jenna a rather cross glance. He began to tap his foot, scowling.
November 4, 2011 at 4:59 am #53208SeferiaKeymasterJenna gave Sephiroth a feral smirk as she responded via telepathy, ~I am familiar enough with him to know that he absolutely hates being called by his first name, yes.~
Meanwhile, Wesker released an annoyed growl. “Sephiroth, I assure you that any relations I have with your wife are purely professional. Now,” the man turned to face the pair, “what is your state of exhaustion?”
November 4, 2011 at 5:24 am #53209Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth couldn’t help but give a short soft chuckle at Jenna’s response. He was humoured by the fact that Wesker was annoyed also. He gave Jenna a brief grin before turning to glance at the other male.
“My state of exhaustion is fine now,” His expression turned to a scowl once again. “Thus, whenever you are ready, do inform me. I will make the singular jump back home, and then hope that we do not end up in somebody’s house. Or the ocean.”
November 4, 2011 at 5:31 am #53210SeferiaKeymasterJenna tilted her head as she listened to the exchange. “Exhaustion? What is going on, Seph?”
Wesker moved closer to Sephiroth, adjusting the way his sunglasses as he moved. “I already told you that I would prefer that you do not put our safety into “luck”. I have no desire to take an unplanned swim in the ocean.”
November 5, 2011 at 2:00 am #53211Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth shook his head slightly. “Oh, nothing… I am just tired from teleporting so much. This world is so much larger than it used to be.” He scowled at Wesker and quickly added, “I won’t put us in danger. Give me some more time. Go wandering if you so desire, I’m sure you know how to find us again.”
November 5, 2011 at 2:09 am #53212SeferiaKeymasterWesker gave Sephiroth a hardened glare. “I grow weary of you telling me to be patient. I have stated many times that I am willing to wait for you to properly perform this teleportation move of yours.”
Wesker slowly curled his right hand into a fist. “So, stop trying my patience by commanding me to go elsewhere why you rest.”
November 6, 2011 at 3:13 pm #53213Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth shrugged his shoulders. “So do whatever you want to do. I do not care. Just don’t come to me and complain further.” He moved to sit back down again, wanting to finish the recovery process. “It’s safe here. There is nothing around for miles.”
November 6, 2011 at 3:15 pm #53214SeferiaKeymasterJenna glanced between the two men for a moment before she rolled her eyes. Snorting, she moved over to Sephiroth so that she could nudge his right thigh with her boot.
“Get up, Seph. I can just make a portal, or had you forgotten that you don’t need to do everything?” Jenna firmly informed her mate.
November 6, 2011 at 3:38 pm #53215Kat AclysmKeymaster“Are you all right to make a portal? You were dead not more than five minutes ago…” He was frowning now. Despite this, he moved to his feet anyway and shrugged at her. “Go ahead, I’d very much like to be back at home as soon as possible. The children will need tending too sooner or later.”
November 7, 2011 at 5:44 am #53216SeferiaKeymaster“Reviving does restore me, Seph,” Jenna rolled her eyes at his question. “So, yes, I am perfectly fine to create a portal.”
Thus, Jenna stepped away a bit so that she was in a clear area before she closed her eyes to concentrate on creating a portal. Once the rift open, she turned to nod at the two men.
Wesker had been watching with interest, still intrigued by the extraordinary abilities of the pair before him. Once the portal opened, the man’s eyes widened, though his sunglasses saved him from the embarrassment of having his surprise known. Instead, the man released a non-committal grunt as he moved closer to the rift so that he could examine it.
November 7, 2011 at 6:18 am #53217Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth watched Wesker and took note of his curiosity. Without saying anything to him, he simply rolled his eyes, made a short amused sound, and stepped through to the other side.
He promptly fell face-first onto the sandy beaches of Mideel.
November 7, 2011 at 6:26 am #53218SeferiaKeymasterWesker continued to examine the portal even after Sephiroth stepped through. However, Jenna quickly became bored of waiting. Thus, several minutes after Sephiroth fell onto the beach, Wesker was blasted through the portal while Jenna simply tumbled out.
Wesker snarled as he crashed into the sand, less than pleased by what Jenna had just done to him.
November 7, 2011 at 3:16 pm #53219Kat AclysmKeymasterAlthough not happy to be in the sand, Sephiroth sat up anyway to observe his surroundings. He was pleased that he was back on the island and dusted himself off. “Good work,” He stated rather quickly to his partner. “Although, I am sorry your mission did not work out as planned, I am very glad to have you back.”
November 7, 2011 at 10:01 pm #53220SeferiaKeymasterJenna looked over at Sephiroth as she got to her own feet. “Hrmph, there were unexpected complications. That is all.”
She snorted and shook her head. “However, thanks… for coming after me.”
November 8, 2011 at 5:02 am #53221Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth snorted back at Jenna, having expected more of an explanation. He was mildly disappointed that he wasn’t getting one from her. “You are welcome. If I had more information, I could have more accurately judged the situation. But you can take care of yourself, I suppose…”
He grunted, shrugging. “Let’s go home.” He turned his head to glance at Wesker, knowing full well that what he was about to say was going to irritate the other man. “You are dismissed.”
November 8, 2011 at 5:10 am #53222SeferiaKeymasterWesker furiously snarled at Sephiroth as the man announced that he could leave. He cared little for being commanded around. However, he simply grunted before he turned to leave the area. He had no intentions of wasting more time with Sephiroth.
Jenna looked over at Sephiroth as she muttered, “I already told you, you are not to be included in this sort of mission for plausible deniability.”
November 8, 2011 at 2:40 pm #53223Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth gave Jenna a momentary unhappy look, but didn’t want to pursue that particular line of conversation any further as it wasn’t very constructive. He sighed and began to head off down the beach, moving to return back to the house.
“Come on,” He said finally. “It’s been a long day…”
November 9, 2011 at 3:13 am #53224SeferiaKeymasterJenna nodded as she moved to follow after Sephiroth. “Yes, it’s been a long week as well. I have missed you, my love.”
Smirking, the sorceress brushed up against her mate’s side. Her hand then reached up to stroke his hair. “I have most definitely missed you.”
November 9, 2011 at 10:41 pm #53225Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth’s steps slowed momentarily as he turned his gaze toward her. The silver-haired General offered a vague, yet gentle grin before he resumed his regular walking pace. “I missed you also,” He stated in a calm tone. “And I am glad that you are back here again, and safe.”
“It seems that the other science-head and I are no longer friends.” He chuckled. “But even though he was angry with me the entire time, he still came through for you.”
November 10, 2011 at 1:22 am #53226SeferiaKeymaster“‘No longer friends?'” Jenna raised her left eyebrow at Sephiroth’s statement. “Somehow, I doubt that you two ever were friends. You are you…. And Wesker believes in power as the ultimate force in regulating everything. ‘Only thing that can defeat power is more power’ or something like that.”
Jenna waved her hand in a dismissive manner. “And I’m certain he still wants me to deliver the data I gathered.”
November 10, 2011 at 2:34 am #53227Kat AclysmKeymaster“You still managed to gather data despite what happened to you?” Sephiroth raised a brow. “Well…. it’s good to hear that your mission wasn’t a complete failure.” He nodded. “Good work.” He reached out to pat her shoulders, giving her a gentle purr in the process.
He headed off the beach and back onto the road. “Would you fancy a walk, or would you like me to teleport us back to the house? The distance is very short.”
November 10, 2011 at 2:37 am #53228SeferiaKeymaster“I was there for a week, Seph,” Jenna rolled her eyes at the praise she was receiving. “Of course I was capable of gathering the data that was requested. My only problem was exiting because someone else had set off an explosion.”
Jenna snorted at the thought. “And walking is perfectly fine.”
November 10, 2011 at 2:55 am #53229Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth nodded his head and continued his path down the road. “I’m not sure what you are able to tell me about and what you would like to keep classified, so if you would like to talk to me about the explosion, at the very least it would be interesting.”
November 10, 2011 at 3:04 am #53230SeferiaKeymasterJenna shook her head at her mate’s request. “I cannot answer much on that matter, for I am not well aware of the details. I know that as I was heading out, the power cut out due to an explosion. Then, the containment cells for dangerous organisms failed, which caused more issues. I was almost out when a blast hit the other side of the wall I was walking past, and then you were reviving me.”
November 10, 2011 at 6:27 pm #53231Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth sighed and slowly shook his head. “It almost sounds like somebody was trying to get at you. I suppose it doesn’t matter… unless something else happens.” He shrugged. “As long as it means no repercussions here at home, I suppose I don’t mind what you get up to.”
He scowled as a car raced past them on the road next to the path.
