Chris narrowed his eyes as he listened to Sephiroth and Wesker. The man had still been in shock that Wesker was still alive, the last time he saw him, the man was poisoned and falling to his death into a volcano. He didn’t know what it would take to kill him, but he knew he was more than frustrated over it.
“Shit, they’re leaving!” Chris informed Cloud as he heard Sephiroth. “We can’t let them get away! Wesker is responsible for the deaths of thousands!”
Thus, he pulled up his gun to fire at Wesker.
Meanwhile, Wesker wasted no time in moving closer to Sephiroth. “Yes, indeed. Playtime is over.”
November 2, 2011 at 2:10 am #53183Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth tensed as he watched Chris point the gun in their general direction. “Let’s get out of here, now.” He growled out.
Once Wesker was close enough and touching him, he made the first teleport-jump. The group of three appeared in the middle of the Satpura Mountain Range, northern India. The biting cold of the high-altitude immediately hit the General and he began to shiver.
“This may take some attempts…” He snarled. “I’m not used to doing this with three people over such a large distance, and it will be less accurate…” Once he had recovered a little, he made the second teleport jump, appearing in temperate forest in the middle of one of the Indonesian islands.
November 2, 2011 at 2:21 am #53184SeferiaKeymasterChris fired off several shots before he realized that Sephiroth, Jenna, and Wesker had vanished. Frowning in frustration, the man lowered his gun. “Damn… They got away. Wesker’s never been able to vanish like that before.” Chris looked at Cloud. “The other man, that was the one you were telling us about, right?”
Wesker frowned as he was forced to experience Sephiroth’s teleportation techniques again. When they reached the mountains, the blonde tilted his head with curiosity as he noticed Sephiroth’s shivering. “You notice temperature?”
November 2, 2011 at 3:39 am #53185Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth’s consciousness was beginning to fade when his feet touched the forest floor. He lowered his head and made a short snarl in reply, and then he moved to his knees. “Who doesn’t notice differences in temperature? It is a basic function of being alive…”
He set Jenna onto the ground beside him. “Two more jumps… that’s all we need…”
November 2, 2011 at 4:17 am #53186SeferiaKeymasterWesker grunted, backing away a few steps as he noticed that Sephiroth needed a break. “Yes.. indeed. I suppose it would be a sign of being alive, huh.”
The man eyed off the General for a few moments before he turned his back on him. “Rest up. I do not want you killing all three of us because you were foolhardy. There is no imminent danger here.”
November 2, 2011 at 4:27 am #53187Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth slowly nodded his head and then moved to sit beside the unconscious Jenna. He gave a heavy sigh as he leaned forwards over her protectively and he placed a hand on his forehead. He used to be able to teleport great distances, and the pain he was experiencing right genuinely bothered him.
“I won’t kill anyone,” He snorted, “Teleporting just won’t work out too well.”
November 2, 2011 at 4:31 am #53188SeferiaKeymasterWesker slowly removed his sunglasses in order to clean them. He seemed to be much more interested in the specks of dirt and blood on his glasses than Sephiroth at the moment.
“I’m certain you believe that,” the man drawled out. “However, I do not care to test out that theory. Just rest up. Your heart rate is much too rapid and your breathing is irregular.” Wesker turned his head to coldly stare down Sephiroth. “You are tired.”
November 2, 2011 at 5:30 am #53189Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth made a soft frustrated sound upon hearing Wesker’s commentary. “Yes,” He snorted, “How observant of you to notice…” He closed his eyes and allowed his mind time to recover. Once his head was clear, he sat up properly. Teleporting in such a manner had given him a headache, though.
“I think I can do this in one more jump, but it won’t be accurate…”
November 2, 2011 at 10:27 pm #53190SeferiaKeymasterWesker had been keeping watch, though he mostly seemed to be ignoring Sephiroth and his mate, while the silver-haired man rested. When Sephiroth spoke up, the blonde turned around to face him once more.
Grunting with annoyance, Wesker shook his head. “As much as I appreciate your attempt to expedite our return, I have no desires to waste time because you are over-straining yourself, Sephiroth. Just do what you are capable of doing with the most efficiency, no more.”
November 3, 2011 at 1:32 am #53191Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth made an irritated snarl. “Go exploring or something. I dont’ care.” He gave Jenna another shake, and then managed a weak telepathic signal as he tried to contact her.
*”Can you hear me…? Say something…”*
He lowered his head and sighed. Things were not going well.
November 3, 2011 at 1:46 am #53192SeferiaKeymasterMore than annoyed, Wesker released a long breath through his nostrils before he strode over to stand in front of Sephiroth. After looking down at him for a moment, he knelt down to have a better view at Jenna.
“Hand her over,” the tyrant firmly ordered.
November 3, 2011 at 4:44 am #53193Kat AclysmKeymaster“And then what?” Sephiroth growled. He was already unhappy about Jenna, and the fact that Wesker wanted her did not help things. He shifted over her, feeling very protective.
“No.” He stated finally. “Not unless you tell me what you plan to do.”
November 3, 2011 at 4:50 am #53194SeferiaKeymasterWesker stared down Sephiroth for a good half a minute before he slowly began to speak out, as if speaking to a child, “I am trained in the medical field, where you are not. Hand her over.”
November 3, 2011 at 5:28 am #53195Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth continued to stare at Wesker, and then he made a soft growl before reluctantly allowing him to move in. “Fine… but if you…” he stopped himself and stumbled to his feet as he stepped away.
November 3, 2011 at 5:34 am #53196SeferiaKeymasterWesker slowly set Jenna down on the ground before he began to look over her. He carefully checked over her pulse as well as her pupil dilation before he lifted his head to look up at Sephiroth. “She was without sufficient oxygen for an extended period of time. That is why she is not waking up.”
November 4, 2011 at 12:22 am #53197Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth sighed with resignation. He really didn’t know what to do with the woman now. “So she’s brain-dead?” He asked after a few moments of silence. “Well, that makes the containment-issue non existent. I suppose that is a good thing, as I didn’t want to put her in lockdown anyway.”
November 4, 2011 at 1:09 am #53198SeferiaKeymaster“I have not tested her blood,” Wesker stated, “however, her genetics may not be vulnerable to the viruns. The cut shows no sign of discoloration or decay, Sephiroth.”
Wesker then coldly looked up at the General. “I am fully aware that she is, as one may put it, immune to death. Do you want to do this now or later?”
November 4, 2011 at 1:22 am #53199Kat AclysmKeymaster“You are asking me to kill her?” Sephiroth’s attention was fixated on his mate as he spoke. “I suppose you can do it. I have done it more times than I care to remember…” He moved to turn away, sighing. He had never enjoyed participating in it, nor watching the murdering of his mate. Despite the fact he knew she was immortal, he still hated it.
November 4, 2011 at 2:15 am #53200SeferiaKeymasterWesker grunted in irritation, not caring much that the other man did not understand his question. “I was asking when you wanted her to be killed, not who you wanted to do the deed. However, very well.”
Without wasting another second, the man smoothly snapped Jenna’s neck with a well-practiced move. Once he heard the crack, he stood up so that he could return to watching their surroundings.
November 4, 2011 at 3:10 am #53201Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth turned back when the deed was done. He looked down at his dead mate and crouched down beside her, simply just sitting there as he waited for her to revive. He ran a hand over the arm that was closer to him, his expression one of vague sadness.
“When she recovers, I’ll make the final jump back to the island. But we could appear anywhere. I’d rather sacrifice preciseness to make the distance, however.”
November 4, 2011 at 3:17 am #53202SeferiaKeymasterJenna released a short gasp as she finally revived, still thinking that she was still crushed under rocks. Before opening her eyes, she reached out to shove away the nearest thing, which happened to be Sephiroth before she shot up and began to raggedly breathe. At the moment, her brain hadn’t caught up with where she was.
November 4, 2011 at 3:21 am #53203Kat AclysmKeymasterSephiroth hadn’t exactly expected Jenna to revive so fast. When she became suddenly animated, he was taken completely by surprise. When shoved, he stumbled backwards, his back thumping against one of the rainforest trees behind him. He didn’t mind so much about that though – he was pleased to see her alive again.
“Shh,” He said in a low voice as he moved back in to place a hand on her shoulder. “It’s over. You are all right.”
November 4, 2011 at 3:40 am #53204SeferiaKeymasterJenna blinked as she heard Sephiroth’s voice before she slowly turned her head to look over at him. As she realized that he was indeed there, she quickly looked around the area before she returned her attention to Sephiroth.
“Seph…? How… When?” the sorceress attempted to make sense of her situation.
November 4, 2011 at 3:46 am #53205Kat AclysmKeymasterJenna’s confusion was very understandable. He nodded at her and raised a hand as if to quieten her.
“You were gone for too long,” He began to explain. “I came looking for you. My search led me to the building you were in at the time. However, once I discovered that it was a High-Security facility, I decided to enlist assistance.”
He folded his arms, a heavy frown growing across his features as he continued. “When we found you, you were crushed under a big pile of rubble. The area was also being tended to by…” He paused to think, “I don’t know who the brunette was, but Wesker seemed to be familiar with him. The idiot known as Cloud Strife was also there at the scene working with him. I have no idea what they were doing there, and I don’t care.”
November 4, 2011 at 3:51 am #53206SeferiaKeymasterJenna carefully listened to Sephiroth’s story. As he began to wrap it up, she glanced at the ground. “Well, I did tell you to come looking for me if I was not back in time…”
Snorting, she pushed herself up to her feet. “Thanks, for getting me, Seph. I assume that Albert was fully capable of warning you of the types of dangers the creatures in that facility posed.”
Meanwhile, Wesker silently snarled as he heard his first name being used. However, for the time being, he choose not to comment. He knew full well that Sephiroth and Jenna had formidable power.
