Jenna: *groans at Seph* She doesn’t have the slightest clue what that word means, Seph. You are truly pining over it too much. *snorts at his next set of words* Not all of your food can be mashed up, Seph. Anyway, you will need to eat anyway, and thus, the need go get food will return. *crosses her arms*
Sephiroth: I’m not saying reserve all my food for her. *slides out a chair, then sits down, teleporting a can of peaches to his hands so he can pry the top off* But some of it is adequate for a child to eat. *shrugs* If you want to go get food, go get some.
Jenna: She’ll need more than just peaches at nutrition, Seph. *Shakes her head. She then turns back to head outside the base*
Sephiroth: *frowns as he watches her leave, not feeling like discussing his ideas on the subject any more. He rises to his feet and picks up a fork, walking out of the kitchen. He frowns in thought and heads for one of Centra’s access point rooms, wanting to read up on the subject of infant nutrition further* Hello, computer. *moves to sit down in a chair near the control panel* We need to talk. And I need information. What can you provide for me?
Centra: Greetings: What sort of information would you like to research. *one of the screen lights up and displays a directory of various folders that Sephiroth can read through* Make your selection by stating either the number or the name.
Sephiroth: *ponders for a few moments, then leans back in the chair* You had a file on Jenna before. Do you have any others that she’s recorded over the years? *scratches his chin, thinking hard* It would be a good way to learn more about that woman…
Centra: Affirmative. Gathering files on Jenna now. *The screen changes. Soon enough, a new set of folders pop up on the screen* Please input which subject you wish to explore.
Sephiroth: *begins to type in some of the subjects that appear on screen, then begins to watch some of the videos Jenna has recorded. When he gets to a video labelled “Subject: Fucking hell”, he begins to watch, narrowing his eyes, not really understanding a lot of what he’s seeing. However, he keeps watching until the entry is over, then loudly snorts* What the hell was that?
Centra: It was a video recorded by . The approximate timing of the recording was around two-hundred years ago.
Sephiroth: Around… *blinks* How old is this complex, and Jenna? Do you have any data on that? If she is an adult in that video… *frowns in thought, not really knowing what to think of what he’s seeing and hearing now*
Centra: I was built around three-hundred and fifty years ago. Jenna was around while I was being built. The actual complex is millions of years old if you are speaking of the actual network of caves.
Sephiroth: Hmph… *shakes his head* I see. *leans forward to watch some more of her videos, then grunts* Has she recorded any on me? I really wonder. If she’s recorded all of this data… she would have to have something on me at some point. I remember her in my memories now. Surely she has something.
Centra: Affirmative. *The screen shifts to show a listing of all files that pertain to Sephiroth. Most are just stolen off ShinRa’s computer databases. However, there are some videos of him that were clearly taken by Jenna as she spied on him. There are others with her just recording her thoughts on him*
Sephiroth: *nods* I can guess what’s in a lot of these surveilance videos. I don’t want to read what’s in the ShinRa database files either – I can guess what’s in them as well. See what you can find on her videos. The… recordings. I would like to know what she thinks of me.
Centra: Narrowing selection field now. *The screen flashes for a moment as the files are reorganized. Soon enough, only the files that have Jenna commenting about Sephiroth remain. Most are her just stating the fact that she hates not being able to help him with his situation as she watches him in the labs. Others are her just commenting about his fighting abilities after he grows. Then, there are a few in which she just comments about how good-looking he is. However, there are some odd-ball ones, that mention some strange man stalking her at points that don’t seem to be within the last few decades. Also, “Fucking Hell” and others recorded by that personality come up*
Sephiroth: *watches a lot of the videos with curiousity, confused at her varying opinions on him, especially between the psychotic personality and the normal one. He scowls, mumbling* There’s that craziness again. Computer, search this up. Any erratic behaviour. This isnt the first time it’s happened. And by the looks of things, it’s been going on for a long time. I want to know why.
Centra: Request confirmed: *Once again, the files sort themselves out. Soon enough, the entire contents of a folder that is listed as personal is brought up*
Sephiroth: *slides out of the chair, dismissively waving a hand* I think I’ve seen most of it by now. Thank you, computer, whatever you’re called. *heads out of the room again to ponder what he has discovered. He heads back down the stairs to check up on Desiree, then sits down on the bed*
Desiree: *Had fallen asleep in her crib. She is currently tightly hugging onto her dragon as she sleeps*
Jenna: *returns after another half of an hour. She then moves downstairs with a bag of food in her hands. As soon as she enters the bedroom, she drop the bag onto the bed* That was easy enough…
Sephiroth: *leaves Desiree be, and occupies himself with reading one of the books from his library. When Jenna returns, he looks up at her, not saying much, and turns his attention back to the book* I figured it wouldn’t be hard. Food isn’t exactly the hardest thing to buy.
Jenna: *indifferently shrugs as well* Neither did I. But you seemed to be making a big deal over me leaving to get her food. *moves to sit down next to Seph* Did you miss me?
Sephiroth: *mutters, continuing to stare at his book* Don’t bring it up again. We obviously didn’t agree when it first came up, and we never resolved the outstanding topic. It’s not worth discussing, disagreeing over something which really doesn’t matter or ultimately affect us.
Jenna: *tilts her head. She then sighs and reaches out to snap the book out of Seph’s grip. Then, she tosses the book over her shoulder and across the room* Seph, something is bothering you. What is it? *sides closer to him. She then gently sets her right hand against his cheek* And don’t say that nothing’s wrong. I can tell.
Sephiroth: *scowls as his book is taken away, watching it fly away and hit the floor with a dull thud. He grunts slightly and glances back at Jenna, frowning as she touches him* I’m not going to say that nothing is wrong. But I don’t really want to discuss that either.
