Sephiroth: *frowns at her* Alright… *seems hesitant and quiet* Hrmph. *scowls* Why do you have differing opinions of me? Assuming that IS you… I can understand some of the earlier things, but some of it also confuses me. Are you an ally? An enemy? Is this friendliness really a ruse because you’re trying to gain something else?
Jenna: *tilts her head at him* Differing opinions of you? Seph, my only opinion of you is that which leads me to loving you and being here at your side. *scoots in closer to him* Do you honestly think that I’d permit for you to make me go through the birthing process, of all things, if this was a ruse? *Slowly shakes her head at him* What made this get into your head, anyway?
Sephiroth: *scowls at her* Not much. I found some video files when I was looking through the archives in your computer. I was actually looking for something else at the time, but that came up and well… *shrugs* I went through them. They were available to view and so I did so. *scowls further* You have very differing opinions of me. And why would you have information on me from over 200 years ago? I haven’t even been alive for fourty years.
Jenna: *frowns and glances to the side, muttering* I think someone here figures out how to time-travel at some point… *glances at him for a second. Soon enough, though, she looks away as if the wall had suddenly become interesting* It’s not overly important..
Sephiroth: *narrows his eyes* Time-travelling? Don’t speak of such nonense, Jenna. What a ridiculous idea. *snorts* Why the hell would I want to do that anyway? *takes note of her behaviour and scowls at it* Hmph. Of course it’s not important. It’s made up, and ridiculous.
Jenna: *Groans at him. She then turns her eyes back toward him. She looks quite serious* Seph, I had seen you around me from points during several times in my lifetime.. I am being dead serious there. *shakes her head* I just… if it was indeed you and not some other Sephiroth, which I doubt… I really shouldn’t speak much of it. It is not proper for one to know too much of their future. *glances to the wall again* Anyway, it is not nonsense. The portals you already know how to open can just as easily break time as well as space. At this moment, you can go back and forward in time as you please.
Sephiroth: *narrows his eyes* Are you kidding me? How the hell can you do that? *snorts in disgust, obviously believing none of it* Forget it, I don’t want to know. I can only think of one use for it, and that is to kill Hojo before he has a chance to abuse the hell out of me.
Jenna: *shakes her head at Seph* It won’t help you with that, Seph. *frowns at him* You see, even if you go back to that point in time in your past, you would have already been present there. Any action that you do, already has happened, whether you know it or not. *Shakes her head* Even, if by some chance, you do manage to change your time, you won’t change yours. You’ll just create a divergent time-stream. A split-off parallel dimension from the one that you originate from. It just, won’t work. *stands up. She then concentrates and begins forming a small portal. As she begins to cast this spell, she seems to appear out of a portal that just opens up. Thus, for a few seconds, there are two Jennas. However, soon enough, Jenna open the portal and steps through it* See, time-travel.
Sephiroth: *initially opens his mouth as if to object, ending up staring at her when another of her steps out of the portal. He stares at both of them and scowls as one leaves* Alright, which one is the real you…?
Jenna: *Groans at Seph and shakes her head* Both were. I went back in time five seconds, Seph. I wanted to give you proof of time travel. *Frowns at him* Do I need to do it again and make it even more obvious?
Sephiroth: No… *scowls* I just… *seems hesitant* So, I’ve gone back in time to 200 years ago, apparently… but – how can my going around in time alter and affect you in the here and now? Wouldn’t my interferrence just create another reality, and not affect this one? It doesn’t make any damn sense.
Jenna: *shakes her head at Seph* No, it won’t. For, you’ve already been there at that point in time, Seph. Those actions you made in your future but in the past have already happened and affected the time stream. *moves to sit down next to him* Now, if you didn’t go back in time… That would cause problems. But I can’t say when or why you ever decided to go back in time. *Shrugs*
Sephiroth: Well, I obviously did it to assist you, but… *frowns, shaking his head* It obviously hasn’t happened yet because you don’t remember it. I… I don’t know if I can do something like that. Go back into the past and… I don’t even know what I did to you! *growls in frustration*
Jenna: *tilts her head, confused by his words. She then shrugs* You only seemed to hang out in the background and watch me most of the times that I remember seeing you… That or try to protect me in situations where I had things under control. For quite some time, I thought you were a royal pain and couldn’t figure out why you were randomly stalking me… *shakes her head* We really shouldn’t be discussing this…
Sephiroth: Hmph. Sounds more like something that was occuring a few years ago. When we had first met, and you had initially taken me here. You said you had the fight under control with the females. You said you had everything under control with the cat, and then the snake. But you didn’t. I don’t think you can even now.
Jenna: *glares at him* I think I have a whole lot more damn fighting experience than you do, Seph. *loudly snorts. She then picks up the bag of food that she had gotten for Desiree and dumps them in Seph’s lap* Distract yourself with determining whether those are appropriate or not. *She gets up then moves over to Desiree’s crib to check up on the girl*
Sephiroth: *deeply scowls as the bag is dumped into his lap, gritting his teeth as some of the jars in the bag strike him in more sensitive regions* Be careful next time! *is quick to pull the bag off his lap, setting it down on the bed beside him. He begins to go through the contents, grunting, still irritated with what just occured mere moments ago* They look fine to me. Jars and cans of pulped food. I can still buy food and do this myself.
Jenna: *notices that Desiree is deep asleep and just gently pats the top of her head. She then glances over at Sephiroth* And what would I do if you were not available to do the pulping, hm? *Shakes her head at Seph* You can feed her whatever you want. I was just trying to make things easier on both of us.
Sephiroth: *grunts* It would be easier on both of us… I will consent to that. I will place it up soon enough. *growls slightly* Just don’t throw any more jars of baby food at my nether regions. Unless you wish to sterilize me. *snorts*
Jenna: *rolls her eyes at Sephiroth* Even if I did accidentally sterilize you, there are two elements that would combat that. First, you are bonded to me. So, I could just kill you to rectify that problem. Second, there are magics that can cure that as well… *frowns in thought* Not that I would have thought you to be the type to worry about being sterile. Perhaps impotent, but not sterile.
Sephiroth: *snorts* That wasn’t the point of my comment… *moves to his feet, growling* I’m trying to say I didn’t appreciate being struck in the genitals with your jars of baby food. Be more careful next time, please.
Jenna: *shakes her head at him* Seph, you’re making a big deal out of nothing. I just dropped the bag into your lap from a short distance. It couldn’t have hurt that much. *sighs at him* It’s not like I was kicking you in the balls. Now, calm down.
Sephiroth: *snorts* I am calm. I just didn’t like it and I am telling you so. Would you rather I not say anything in future? *grunts* You don’t seem to like it when I don’t tell you things, this much was proven just a short time ago. Make up your mind.
Jenna: There’s a difference between that and a minor thing that you are blowing out of the water, Seph. *Shakes her head at him* As I said, I was not trying to hurt you. *moves past him and toward the springs* I’m going to take a bath. You may join me if you want.
