Sephiroth: The spring is hotter than usual? That’s strange. *shrugs* I don’t really notice any difference, except for when I move towards the center, and that is only natural, no? *shrugs* I don’t really have any special requests. I just want to sit here and enjoy the quiet with you. Things have been rather…. *scowls* …odd lately. To say the least.
Sephiros: *his thoughts are erratic and he hates pretty much everything and everyone right now. He is mistrusting of all and his opinion isn’t likely to change for a good long while*
Jenna: Mmmm.. *She shrugs* It just feels particularly warm today. Must be just my imagination. *she shakes her head then grins at him* I think that plan works out quite nicely. I enjoy being with you quite a bit. *She chuckles and nuzzles her nose against his cheek. If he were to pay attention, she may feel a bit on the feverish side*
Desiree: *Deeply sighs as she reads over Sephiros’s mind. She then shakes her head and removes her spells, giving up for now* One day I’ll figure out how to get you to at least trust me. *with that, she casts a spell to teleport some food next to his bed. She then wanders away toward her room. Upon sitting on her bed, she glances at the marks that had burned into the floor of her room when the elf entered her world* Hmph.. *sighing, she closes her eyes and tries to contact the elf* ~Hey, are you alright out there?~
Sephiroth: Outside temperature won’t affect the internal temperatures here, I’m sure. I don’t know why you think it’s warmer. I don’t feel any warmer than usual. Are you getting sick? *moves to place a hand on her forehead, then hums in thought* You feel slightly warm. Maybe you are getting sick.
Sephiros: *curls up in his corner again and growls*
Kalysto: *”I’m perfectly fine. I am exploring this absolutely trashed place. Apparently it used to be a city, and something major happened here. It smells of tainted magic.”*
Jenna: *shakes her head* It’s probably just in my head, Seph. I’m certain that it’s nothing at all. *she then glances up as he moves in to check her temperature before shaking her head* Getting sick? Hrmph. Have you known me to get sick at all since you’ve met me? I highly doubt it.. *she settles her head against his shoulder*
Desiree: ~I guess.. I don’t really know the history of this planet that well. I wasn’t born here.~ *she shakes her head then frowns* ~Why is your speech so fuzzy? I can barely make out what you’re saying.~
Sephiroth: No, but there’s a first for everything. Berate me for giving a damn if you want to but I wanted to make sure. *shrugs, then leans back against the edge of the spring and quietly sighs, relaxing* I don’t know what else to say about it.
Kalysto: *”My signal is probably fuzzy because I am undergound. Under large chunks of destruction, anyway.”*
Jenna: *deeply sighs at Sephiroth’s words. She then lowers her head* Hrmph.. As much as I do not want to agree with your theory here.. If you can think of any way to scan me and tell whether I’m sick or not with your psychic abilities, go ahead. *she slides her right hand down to gently kneed her fingers into his abdomen*
Desiree: ~No, it’s always fuzzy. Even when you were five feet away from me. It’s like you are talking through a snow storm or something.~ *Sighing, she glances at the runes on the ground again* ~If you don’t want to be in that rubble, you are free to teleport back over here. I can set up a room for you.~
Sephiroth: Scan you? Whatever for? *shrugs slightly* Well, alright then, if you insist. *lowers his head and scans Jenna’s entire person, stopping for a few moments, his eyes widening slightly when he scans her belly region* Shit…
Kalysto: *”Set up a room? As in a lodging? I have travelled enough to be comfortable enough to sleep in the dirt. Or the desert sands. Comfort isn’t a problem. Neither is food – depending on where you go, you can get top-rate food or absolute rubbish that still manages to somehow taste good.”* *shakes his head* *”Lodging’s not really my issue. This planet doesn’t seem to have anyone who shares my interests… which will make it hard to do research and work.”*
Jenna: Shit? *deeply frowns at his statement, she then sighs* So, your senses are telling you that I’m sick or something? *she sighs* Wonderful…
Desiree: ~Well, from what Mother and Father say, while one can get used to traveling, having a comfortable bed is always the best choice… At least, they seem to always go for beds and comfort over the dirt when it’s available.~ *she shrugs then frowns* ~Your interests?~
Kalysto: *”Yes, my interests. I have hobbies, talents, so on. However, I am not going to share that information with you. What one does in their own time is their own concern, yes? I am nearly done exploring this wreck so I will come back there shortly. I do not think that it would take very long to travel there. If you don’t destroy my rune-circle, that is.”*
Sephiroth: *lightly pokes her stomach, then mutters, seeming almost unhappy* You’re pregnant…
Desiree: ~Hrmph, I was only going to offer to help you find some way to get people who share your interests, or something to do that research with. But if you don’t want to tell me, I don’t give a damn.~ *Snorting, she glances at the circle again* ~No, I won’t destroy it. I don’t even know if it can be.~
Jenna: *blinks then stares at Seph’s face* You’re joking, right?
Kalysto: *”If you were to draw on the runes and change them into different letters, you would certainly fuck it up for me.”* **grins* *”So you don’t give a damn about what I do? That’s what I like to hear.”* *is quiet for a few moments* *”Would you know where I can find a planter box? If I am going to be spending an extended time on this planet, I am going to need to cultivate something.”*
Sephiroth: *keeps his expression serious as he can* No.
Desiree: ~Ah, I see.. Well, I’m not about to do that. It’s just completely childish.~ *she shakes her head then blinks* ~Planter box…. Hmm.. We always just went outside to get fruits or bought them. I’m certain we can find something. They have to sell them in some store, right?~ *She shrugs then frowns* ~Oh, if you find a little guy named Astaroth flying out there, slap him for me.~
Jenna: *her shoulders sink and she deeply sighs* Wonderful.. Just what I wanted.. To be pregnant again. *she shakes her head then gently nudges Seph* We’re not doing a good job at relaxing.
Sephiroth: *slowly shakes his head* No, we’re not… and with the information I have just received, I don’t think I will be relaxing any time soon, either… *sighs and closes his eyes, seeming quite troubled now*
Kalysto: *”It’s not terribly important, but I like to grow things, so I can dry them and turn them into tea.”* *pauses* *”It’s just something I like to do.”* *stumbles across somebody’s discarded materia and picks it up to examine it* *”Little guy flying? Astaroth? What?”*
Jenna: *Releases a deep sigh at Sephiroth’s attitude. She then leans in to kiss him on the lips* Hey, don’t be like that. It’s not exactly what we wanted to hear, but it’s not as if either of us will have great problems being parents yet again… It’s nothing new, now.
Desiree: ~Tea? Ok, if you like to do that, that’s perfectly fine…~ *she shrugs* ~I’m certain that we can find something for you to grow stuff in soon enough. It shouldn’t be hard at all.~ *She then nods, even though the movement is pontless* ~Yea, Astaroth. He’s a real pain in the ass. He says he’s a direct chaos spawn or something like that..~
Sephiroth: No, it’s nothing new. But I was beginning to enjoy the peace that was here. I guess that will vanish again, now. *shrugs* Though you are right, we are experienced. I suppose I can handle another screaming youth around this place.
Kalysto: *”So he’s a demon, then? Is he relatively weak, or is he one of those annoying ones that are small in size, but powerful in their ability?”*
Jenna: *nods at Seph* Yes, we are experienced. *she releases a short chortle* Heh, hard to think that being experienced in raising children is nothing to bat my eyes at any longer… I used to really hate them… *she shakes her head then resumes petting Sephers*
Desiree: ~No, he says he’s not a demon. He says demons are something else, and that he’s a choas spawn.. I don’t know how powerful he is, but he seems quite strong.~
Sephiroth: Hm… definitely experienced… but, what do you mean, used to? You still don’t like children very much, do you? I mean, ones that aren’t your own? *shrugs slightly* Ours are relatively well behaved for the most part, but you won’t see me rushing out to go and adopt more of them.
Kalysto: *”I wonder what the difference is….”* *shrugs* *”I’m still going to try and enslave him. Just to see if it would work.”*
Jenna: *chuckles then nods her head* Yes, you are quite right there. I would not go out of my way to have children.. Not by a long shot. *She shakes her head and sighs* However, I won’t kill them either. Which, is an improvement in my demeanor, I should say.
Desiree: ~Ummm.. sure, go ahead and try that, if you can find him.. Though, I have a nagging feeling that it will wind up biting you in the butt in more ways than one.~ *she shakes her head* ~As for the difference.. I don’t know. Mother probably knows. She knows a whole lot about spirits, magic, and that sort of stuff.~
Sephiroth: I would have to say the same thing… I never wanted children. I hated them. But now that I actually have some, I don’t really mind their existance. They’re fine enough. *shrugs his shoulders* Except for Desiree, who doesn’t listen to a thing you say. And she ignores authority. *sighs quietly* I’m done with that one… there’s nothing more I can do. She doesn’t respect me at all.
Kalysto: *”I don’t really care. If it can be enslaved, it can be enslaved.”*
Jenna: *releases a deep sigh at Sephiroth’s last words. She then shakes her head* Seph.. I know you don’t really mean that. *she reaches over to gently rub the side of his face* Desiree still respects you, I’m certain of it.. Most of her animosity is directed toward me.. *she shakes her head* Aren’t we supposed to be relaxing though?
Desiree: *groans* ~Yea, but we don’t know if that guy can be enslaved. I’ve never been able to get close to doing anything like that..~
Sephiroth: Whatever animosity she has towards you, she places on me because I actually stand by you and it’s not what she wants. She’s a stubborn brat. I never raised her to be like that, so I don’t know how it happened. *scowls and shakes his head* And no, she doesn’t respect me. I tried to get her out of a bad situation recently and she would not listen to me. At all. I told her to come with me and she deliberately disobeyed me. She was defiant and chose to go against my authority. She does not respect me at all.
Kalysto: *”So I’ll try it some time. Who cares? Why are we still talking about this?”*
Jenna: *releases a deep sigh at Sephiroth* Seph, this situation.. Did you give her the “general” treatment? If that’s what you were doing, then of course she probably wouldn’t listen to you. I personally wouldn’t care much if you were using your “listen to what I say and don’t ask questions” tone. *she pokes him* And I repeat, we’re supposed to be relaxing..
Desiree: ~I don’t know. You’re the one going on about enslavement. Pick a different subject. I don’t give a damn… For that matter, you still haven’t explained why your speech is so very weak… I swear, it’s like talking through a snowstorm.~
Sephiroth: I’m her father. If I am directing her to do something, she’d better damn well do it. *scowls* And in that situation, she was in danger. Why should there be any leverage or negotiation when I say “do as I say right now”? Or, she could stand there and get killed. *snorts in disgust* If she doesn’t want to listen when it’s important or critical that what I am saying must be done, then I have nothing more to say to her. She will eventually be killed by her own foolishness. And in that situation, that very well could have happened.
Kalysto: *”Because I’m not a natural telepath by blood? I don’t know how to answer that.”*
Jenna: *groans then leans in and kisses Sephiroth, trying to get him to shut up* Seph, I repeat. We came here to relax. Now, stop this train of thought and relax. *she pokes his stomach* Or, do I have to force you to relax, hm?
Desiree: ~Huh? Isn’t everyone a natural telepath? I’ve never met anyone who wasn’t.. I thought it was just.. normal.~
Sephiroth: *sits up, feeling rather annoyed now* I’m not stopping on this train of thought because it’s not going to go away. Are you saying my thought processes are wrong? *scowls, slowly shaking his head* I am at a loss on what to do. I have been at a loss on what to do for years. Your solution is to silence me?
Kalysto: *”No, normal is powerless, talentless, dull and normal.”
