Jenna: *groans then gets up and shakes her head* Seph.. we came her to relax. That’s all I’m trying to remind you about. However, it is clear that at this point, you’re not going to let either of us do that. *sighing, she steps out of the hot springs. She then moves to the towel rack so that she can dry off. Once that is done, she walks into the bedroom then lies down on the bed*
Desiree: ~What? That doesn’t sound right at all… That’s.. That’s normal?~
Kalysto: *”Normal is normal. Having talents or abilties, telepathic, magical, so on, is considered not normal.”*
Sephiroth: *scowls at Jenna’s departure and sighs in irritation. He slowly shakes his head, then folds his arms and stays in the spring to dwell on the situation, quite irritated now* *”I can’t relax with outstanding issues that don’t go away.”*
Jenna: *groans as she slips under the covers. Soon enough, she settles down on the bed and closes her eyes, less than interested in keeping up the conversation that she didn’t even want to get into at all to start with. So, she curls up and tries to sleep, though she’s still troubled by feeling a bit on the warm side. So, she wouldn’t exactly fall asleep at all*
Desiree: ~Really? That’s strange.. Everyone that I’ve ever known has had special abilities…~
Kalysto: *”Then you don’t get out very much, clearly. The talentless ones stay together in groups, called a city. The skilled and the intelligent ones, as well as the gifted ones, they can hold their own so they leave.”* *shakes his head* *”Get out of your niche and look around.”*
Sephiroth: *scowls, sighing, staying where he is*
Desiree: *deeply sighs* ~Yes, it sounds like I don’t know quite a bit. Father never said a word about our family being special or unique.. So very strange.~ *she shakes her head and glances at the teleportation runes* ~Are you going to come back or not?~
Kalysto: *”Am I going to come back? No, not right away. I will in my own good time. I want to finish exploring, first. Something interesting is occuring and I wish to get to the bottom of it.”*
Desiree: ~Huh? What can possibly be so interesting out there? There wasn’t much of anything out there when we were together.. Just guys who wanted to kill us all. I don’t get it.~ *she scratches the back of her head then stands up so that she can pace about and think for a moment*
Kalysto: *”I’m not going to tell you what’s so interesting out here. I told you as much as you needed to know.”* *is silent for the best part of five minutes* *”There’s more to this place than those idiots who wanted to murder you because you were their enemy. Much more, actually. If you’re not the type to appreciate what energy changes can do, then what I am doing will seem very boring anyway.”*
Desiree: *Blinks, trying to figure out what Kalysto is talking about. Finally, she shakes her head then mutters* I think I can manage that far. *with that, she dashes outside. As soon as she’s outside, she closes her eyes and concentrates on tracking Kalysto as best she can. Once she thinks she feels his position, she concentrates as hard as she can on teleporting to his location. Soon enough, she’d appear about ten yards away from him. However, she promptly collapses due to mental exhaustion*
Kalysto: *is in some disused tunnels near one of the crushed mako reactors. He has been collecting pieces of partially crystallized lifestream and has a nice little handful by now. He stares at Desiree when she appears at his location and quickly looks around* How the hell…. *stuffs the rocks into his pockets and moves over to her* Are you alright?
Sephiroth: *finally finishes with his bath and dries himself off. He places on a pair of boxers and wanders into the bedroom, sitting down on his side, sighing* Am I too overbearing?
Desiree: *clutches at her swimming head then mumbles out* Grifff re aaa shex… *her body is trembling slightly as she continues trying to adjust to the stress that she just put her brain through by teleporting that distance*
Jenna: *cracks open an eye to look over at Sephiroth. She then softly sighs and shakes her head* Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It all depends on the situation, my love..
Kalysto: Griff re-ah-shex? What the hell is that supposed to mean? *crouches down beside her, checking her for injury. When he finds none, he resumes his crystalized energy hunt, occaisonally digging through the soft moist dirt around*
Sephiroth: It depends on the situation? Give an example.
Desiree: *closes her eyes and continues to battle her massive headache for several more minutes. Finally, she shakily gets up then stumbles over to where Kalysto is* Mmmm.. *she cracks open her eyes and watches him* Thiss ish wrat’ss intreshing?
Jenna: *Sighs at him* You can just be overprotective at times, Seph… I can’t think of specific instances.. *She shakes her head* Just lie down and go to sleep. We both have had long days.
Kalysto: *frowns back at Desiree* Yes, this is what is interesting. The weird mana crystals that I am collecting. My plan is to dissolve them under gentle heat and see what happens. *shakes his head* Are you well? Why did you appear fatigued and worn out?
Sephiroth: *sighs* Indeed… *moves to snuggle up against Jenna, closing his eyes*
Desiree: Mahna Cryshtalss? *she glances over at the things in his hands again. She then slowly shakes her head* Thah nah mahna. Thah Mahku. *she then stumbles over to lean against the wall. She groans before responding* Jush tele- Tele- Travel hav-way acrosss worl. Head feel like mash potato..
*there a soft flapping noise from a distance away. Soon enough, a small micro-raptor-like creature lands on top of one of the mako crystals before tilting his head to look at first Desiree then Kalysto. He then releases a high-pitch whine-like noise as he thinks*
Jenna: *watches Sephiroth relax for a few minutes. Eventually, she slides over so that she can snuggle up against his side* Good night, Seph.
Kalysto: Why did you teleport? I said I would be back there in my own time. *shakes his head* Impatient… I really would have come back there in time. I don’t know why you worried about coming here. I didn’t ask you to come. I didn’t really want anyone to come. *glances up as he hears screeching, then narrows his eyes as he sees Astaroth* What the hell is that?
Sephiroth: *mumbles* Night…
Desiree: *finally seems to be slowly recomposing herself. She straightens up a bit, but continues to rub her temples* No.. Not impachinsh.. Jush curioush. *she shakes her head as if that would help clear it up. She then tilts her head before glancing over at Astaroth. She then releases an annoyed hiss* Assstarosh!
Astaroth: *flaps his wings as if that would make him more comfortable. He then grins and hops from foot to foot* Ah, remember remember? All fun to remember.
Kalysto: *Without saying anything, he takes a small crystal out of his pocket and smashes it in the palms of his hands. Then he focuses on the Chaos Spawn and attempts to enslave it by using energy strands from the Astral Plane to try and coil around the creature, attempting to snare it so he can work it like a puppet*
Astaroth: Hmm…? *tilts his head as he notices the energy strands. He then glances around as some chains form around his being. Soon enough, he begins to loudly cackle before releasing a powerful blast of energy that rends through the chains. Continuing to cackle as the chains fall to the ground, he shifts out of the physical plane for a short time period. He soon reappears right behind Kalysto, however, his form is now much larger and resembles a mix between a dragon, a bird, and a tyranosaur. For, the form has bony plates to protect its body, a large pair of wings on its back, and significantly large jaws. Once he reforms, he lowers his head to snort into the back of Kalysto’s hair* Silly, silly man.
Desiree: *blinks and stares at Kalysto as he pulls out the shard. She then calls out* What are you doing..? *she then yelps in fear as the energy wave pushes her back. Shaking her head, she glances around before noticing the much larger form that Astaroth has taken up* Shhhit…
Kalysto: *stares back at Astaroth and simply begins to make a break for it, not willing to hang around at all* *”Yeah, now’s a good time to fuck off. You should never have come.”*
Astaroth: *lifts his head and loudly giggles as he watches Kalysto run off. Soon enough, he phases out again. However, he also uses his powers to catch onto Kalysto and suspend him in the air before reappearing in the microraptor form, phasing in such that he’s perched on the warlock’s head* Hmm..? Want to play?
Kalysto: *glances down as he stops running, then looks around him, seeming unamused and partially annoyed as the small creature perches on his head* Can you piss off now? What do you want from me anyway?
Astaroth: Mmm… What want, what want? You one who start game. So, play, play. *he giggles then simply drops his grip on Kalysto before landing on a rock* Entrertain. Fun must be had, no? *he cocks his head to the side and grins*
Desiree: *frowns as she watches. She then shakes her head* You probably shouldn’t have tried that thing you did with that other thing.. *she pushes herself off the wall, finally feeling better. She then frowns at Astaroth before speaking to the creature* Don’t hurt him.
Kalysto: No, I don’t want to play a game. You’re not a demon, I can’t enslave you, let that be the end of it. If you’re going to fling me around because I’m absolutely defenseless to whatever it is you’re doing, then you’re the only one playing a game. *glances at Desiree* Hey, if he wants to hurt me, I don’t really give a damn.
Astaroth: *tilts his head from side to side as Kalysto speaks. He then cackles once more and shakes his head* Demon? Demon dumb, demon weak, demon want to be our kind. *he continues to chuckle then takes to the air and flies so that he’s hovering in Kalysto’s face* No, demon not Astaroth. Astaroth be much grander. Born straight out of chaos. *his grin widens* We love you kind. So chaotic with each action. Very fun! Demon hate you kind and no play like we do.
Desiree: *grumbles* Well, forgive me for giving a damn.
