Desiree: *keeps a tight grip on the elf’s waist as she levitates the two of them up to the pipes. She then grumbles* You’re still damn heavy. *shaking her head, she then glances up* Huh? It’s done by humans. Duh! There’s only humans on this planet. Well.. I think there was something called Cetra before, but they’re dead. *she finally reaches the pipes. She then drops Kalysto on the nears pipe* There.
Jenna: *clears her throat* Seph, did you hear me? Can you sense where Desiree is? I can’t feel her in the base. *she shakes her head* I can’t even sense her on the island..
Dimitri: *pokes at the hand, still curious* Feel warm and squishy.. but no flesh, right?
Kalysto: There are only humans? No. There are dragons, also. And you are something else too, are you not? You’re not just a human, and not just a dragon. I don’t really know what it is, but it has to be intelligent, no? *crouches down to touch the goo on the pipe* Gimmie… *licks his hand*
Sephiroth: *scowls* No… *attempts to contact Desiree* *”Where are you right now? And what are you doing? You’re no longer on the island, are you?”* *shakes his head* It’s metal inside now.
Desiree: I meant native to this planet. And Father told me the native dragons here are dumb. *she snorts and shakes her head* Yes, I’m part “something else”. My father was manufactured, so to speak. He was injected with the genes of a big blue tentacled alien since he was in the womb. *she then blinks and frowns* ~I’m.. someplace. I don’t know. It’s some sort of city with water near it. And pipes. And disgusting, putrid smells… It’s fine, I decided to go off the island for a bit. What’s the big deal, Father?~
Dimitri: Oh… That sad. *he shakes his head*
Jenna: *deeply frowns, not liking the fact that she can’t track her daughter at the moment*
Sephiroth: *”Why did you leave the island anyway? There wasn’t any reason to leave. We had adequate food and supplies…”* *shakes his head, grunting* *”It’s a big deal because you are still under our care and you said nothing.”* *glances down at Dimitri* Regardless, there is little that can be done about it now.
Desiree: *continues to watch the elf lick the mako droplets from the pipe that they’re standing on. She then twists up her face in disgust* Irk.. So unhygienic. *she shakes her head then frowns* ~Father, it’s no big deal. I’m a big girl. We just wanted to investigate something.. I’ll be coming back home soon enough.~ *she crosses her arms* ~I don’t need to constantly report in to you.~
Dimitri: *whimpers and slowly nods* It like wing.. *whimpers* Wing hurts.
Kalysto: *makes a low humming sound in reply to her* As long as it’s not harmful to one’s health, I don’t give a damn… *pokes his finger into the pipe, seeming dissapointed* There’s a bigger source of this somewhere. And I want you to show me where. Hell, I want to take a bath in this stuff.
Sephiroth: Yes, and no. *points to the wrist where the mechanics attach to the flesh* This hurts. The rest does not. *grunts* *”We? Who’s ‘we’? And while you are living with us, it would be courtesy to inform us if you decided to go somewhere.”*
Desiree: *hisses in annoyance* I told you before, I don’t know where anything is here. How the hell would I know? I’ve never been here before in my life. *she groans and walks closer to Kalysto before gripping on his waste* And no baths in Mako. It’ll fry your brain. I know that much. *with that, she begins to levitate them off the pipe. Soon enough, she lands on the streets of upper Junon. She then scowls in irritation* ~Father, stop doting on me like this. I’m not a little kid. Even then.. what are you going to do, come over here and drag me back home?~ *she snorts in agitation*
Dimitri: Oh.. *he shakes his head then pats Sephiroth’s hand once more* Sad..
Sephiroth: *”I will if you want to blatantly disregard what I’m saying. I’m not even saying you have to leave, what is the major objection to telling people where you are going?”* *grunts* *”Or are you on a rebellious kick and want to disregard everything I say?”*
Kalysto: *yelps slightly* Where are you going to take me now? *frowns and reaches out for the dripping mako* I want that. I am fine where I am…
Desiree: You wanted to try to find a larger supply, right? *she dumps Kalysto down on the street then looks around* Well, this is definitely cleaner than down below.. ~Father, I told you that I’m fine. We’re not doing anything dangerous at all. Settle down.~ *she shrugs then looks about. However, she stops as she notices several people staring at both her and Kalysto* What?
Jenna: *notices Seph’s aggitation then reaches over to rub the side of his face* What’s going on, my love?
Sephiroth: *”Are you even listening to what I am saying? It has nothing to do with where you are or what you are doing. I merely said that it is considerate to inform your mother or your father of where you are going before you leave. Are you comprehending that so far? Or do you want me to reiterate more strongly and in less words?”* *grunts* Desiree’s being stubborn as usual.
Kalysto: Oh… right… *lands with a loud yelp and shakes himself off, glaring at the humans who are currently staring at him. He is very quick to flick his hands into the air, then begins to cast tormenting spells on them that don’t really do much at first* Get back, I’ll handle this!
Desiree: *Yelps an lunges at Kalysto as she realizes what he’s doing. She grasps onto his arms and tries to pin them against his sides* What are you doing?? There’s no reason to attack them. They haven’t done anything to us.. *her eyes widen as she watches the humans scatter before several armed guards begin moving in toward them* Ummm.. hi? *she shoots Kalysto a glare* ~Father, I don’t have time for this..~
Jenna: *Deeply frowns at Sephiroth’s words* Well, that is far from surprising there.. *shaking her head, she leans over to take up Dimitri and slide him closer to her* If you need to go and reprimand her, go ahead, my love.
Kalysto: *makes a vicious sound as Desiree pins his hands to his sides* What are you doing?! They’re humans, they’re going to kill me by default… *tries to wiggle out of her grasp. When that doesn’t really work, he flicks his hands out as far as they will go and begins trying to focus on them instead, managing to send a few blasts of hellfire out to the immediate area of ground around them*
Sephiroth: *”You don’t have time for what? What are you doing now?”* *moves to his feet* I think I have to go there. I think she’s gotten herself into some trouble.
Desiree: *Grits her teeth as she is burnt by the hellfire. She then hisses at the elf* I said stop it. They wouldn’t have hurt us if we didn’t do anything first. Just stop! *She forces herself to keep a grip on Kalysto and then begins to drag him away from the advancing guards, even though she’s in pain* Don’t mind us…
Jenna: *groans then nods* Why doesn’t that surprise me either? Go ahead. *she nods* I can watch over the children.
Kalysto: *as he is being dragged away, he begins to growl viciously at the humans, kicking out at them where he can, then begins yelling at them in his native language* “Stare at me like that again, and I’ll melt your insides and conflagerate your bones, worthless creatures!” *suddenly tries to pull away from Desiree, flustered and still quite angry* What are you pulling me away for, girl?! I could have handled them. They were running like cowards. They would have all been dead before they could get 20 yards away… *spits on the ground in disgust* Why did you do that?
Sephiroth: *”Answer me, Desiree. Are you in trouble?”* *sighs* I will be back shortly. *moves up the stairs to exit the base. Once outside, he teleports to within a few feet of Desiree’s location*
Desiree: Because, they’re not our enemy. That’s what I’m trying to tell you. If you hadn’t had attacked them, we wouldn’t have any of those soldiers aiming at us at all… *she glances at the guards, who have trained their guns on them* Umm… misunderstanding works for you guys? Eh.. *she then blinks as Sephiroth appears then groans* Father… I didn’t need you to come.
*the guards jump back before several begin to stare at Sephiroth with awe and confusion. Several calls of “General Sephiroth?” or “Sephiroth is alive?” resonate from the various ex-ShinRa personnel*
Sephiroth: *first, his attention is on the guards. He makes a low growl at them, then turns his head away* Yes, it’s me. Tell your superiors that I am alive. But you should also tell them not to bother looking for me, either. *scowls at Desiree, then shoves the Blood Elf away from her with a simple push of his left hand. He then moves his other hand to place on her shoulder, sharply grunting, speaking in a flat, yet authorative tone* We’re leaving.
Kalysto: But they— *makes a loud ‘oof’ing sound as he is pushed off his feet, landing on his side*
Desiree: *glares up at Sephiroth* What? But I’m not doing anything wrong. We would have been fine, Father! We were just trying to find that big giant dragon that flew this way… *she glares again* I don’t have to leave!
*Meanwhile, the guards continue to babble amoungst themselves*
“That’s really General Sephiroth? Where the hell has he been all these years?”
“I don’t know, but he kinda looks younger than the last time I saw him around.. doesn’t he?”
“What? I don’t know about that..”
“How the hell can you tell with his grey hair? He’s always looked old to me.”
“Think he’ll lead the army again?”
“Will you idiots shut up! You’re making fools out of us!”Sephiroth: *stares at the guards, then scowls* All of you, shut up! *makes an authorative grunt and points down the road* Report back to your leading officer at once. Tell them that I am alive and that I will come here when I feel like it. Until then you are to keep this place guarded and to follow their orders. Is that understood. *glares back down at Desiree* Silence.
Kalysto: *moves to his feet and dusts his robe off, feeling most annoyed at the situation* Shove me over… conflagerate your ass into oblivion… stupid human…
*The guards stiffen up, quite starteled, as Sephiroth speaks to them. Then several grin amongst themselves and begin to chatter again*
“Does that mean that he’s going to lead us again?”
“I hope so. Then we might actually have a compitent head of the military. Those Turks who took charge are complete idiots.”
“You’re not kidding.”
“I really hope that means that we have the Great General Sephiroth as our superior officer again.”*They then salute to Sephiroth and run off*
Desiree: *scowls and clutches her fists. She then scoots closer to Kalysto and shakes her head* No, don’t conflagerate my father.. Whatever that means. *she frowns at him* He’s just being a bull-headed idiot at the moment. *She glares at Sephiroth once more* I’m not doing anything wrong, Father.
Sephiroth: *He scowls down at Desiree, grunting in dissaproval at her* Those guards were going to do something had I not arrived – probably shoot you. It’s a good thing I did come here – who knows what the hell they would have done to you, or where they would have taken you. They had their guns aimed at you when I arrived, Desiree. They probably would have arrested you and locked you in jail. And what would you have done then? Probably call for me to come bail you out, no doubt. *shakes his head* And you – *glares hard at the elf before making a threatening growling sound at him* I don’t know who the hell you are or where you came from, but you can stay away from Desiree from now on. I don’t know if you started this or she did, but I’m going to guess that my own daughter wouldn’t start a fight with armored and armed guards. *uses his psychokinetic abilities to shove the blood-elf further away from Desiree once more, causing the younger male to lose his balance again*
Kalysto: I’ll do whatever it takes to—*yelps as he is pushed off his feet again, landing on his butt a second time. He pins his ears back and stiffens his shoulders, literally bristling for a few moments before getting to his feet again, brushing off his robe, turning his back to the other male*
Desiree: *Groans then buries her face against the palm of her right hand. She then shakes her head and mumbles* Father.. Just.. stop! Stop, stop, stop! *She glances at the elf* His name is Kalysto, and even though he talks like an egomaniac like you, he isn’t half bad. *she crosses her arms and glares at Sephiroth* Stop pushing the guy around. And the guard bit was a misunderstanding.. I swear.
Sephiroth: Right. He was misunderstanding. With a gun. *folds his arms, casting a scowl of dissaproval over Desiree* And that misunderstanding would have landed you in jail. These guards don’t mess around or play games, Desiree. You wouldn’t have been able to just talk your way out of it. I know this one, for I used to work here. I spent the latter part of my childhood here, also. *scowls* We’re leaving now.
Desiree: *rolls her eyes* Yea, yea, yea. I know you used to work here, Father. So what? *she shakes her head and moves closer to Kalysto* ~Hey, are you ok? He didn’t hurt you, did he?~ *she then frowns at Sephiroth* No, I was doing stuff. There’s no reason for me to go home. I’m not a little kid any longer.
Sephiroth: You are certainly not a small child any more, but you are not acting like an adult, either. So what? I just told you why so what. *snorts* I told you twice, actually. Next time you get in trouble, if you’re going to keep shoving me away, I’m going to do nothing. Because then you might actually listen to my warning for once. In fact… *narrows his eyes* Did you want me to instruct the guards to have you locked up? It certainly wouldn’t be a hassle for them.
Desiree: What?? *she deeply frowns at what Sephiroth is saying* I’m not doing anything wrong, Father! Why would they lock me up. *she shakes her head then clutches her fists* You’re overreacting and you know it. *she looks over at Kalysto once more* ~Hey, are you ok or not? I am trying to check-~ *she then yelps in surprise as she hears a wooshing noise from overhead. Soon enough, Tiamat flies over the the city. She is flying low, partially to make her presence known. Soon enough, her tail whacks into the top of one of the buildings as she flies past and heads toward the mountains to the east*
