Kalysto: Teleport? Oh I could have done that. Your way, though? Don’t… do it that way again. *rubs his head, seeming unhappy about the situation* If you want to do it properly, send yourself via runes. *raises his hands up and begins burning his rune circle into the ground* Once you have one of these somewhere, you can move to it again.
*The planet rumbles* *”Rock? I am hardly a rock as you so crudely put it..”* *rumbles louder* *”I do not need further taxing on my surface. A good portion of the lifeblood used to create the beings of this planet is missing. More lives will stretch the problem even further still.”*
Sephiroth: Can’t they tell you where, though? Isn’t that the point of something like that? What good is a recorder if it can only tell you what you already know? What use is it going to be? Why was it even invented in the first place if it just tells us what we already know?
Desiree: *glances at the runes that he had burnt into the ground. She then sets her arms on her hips and gives him an unimpressed look* You do know that we are thousands of miles away from Halcyon, my home, right? *she shakes her head* Anyway, my way can take me to anywhere, no matter whether I’ve been there before or not. *She snorts and then begins to rapidly teleport, appearing in and out. For the most part, she just teleports to random spots around where Kalysto is* See?
Tiamat: *yawns, not overly concerned* ~Life cannot ever be stopped. I care not about your words.~ *with that, she turns around* ~This spot is so putrid with stench. It will not make a good nesting ground.~ *So, she climbs out of the caves*
Jenna: *shrugs at Sephiroth* Do I look like a geologist? I don’t have a clue how to read that sort of stuff.. Why don’t we just speak to Aeris?
Kalysto: *shakes his head at her* Well I’m not like you, am I? I have no means to snap from one place to another like that. So, I have to make do with what I have. *shrugs and points to the teleportation runes* It doesn’t cause the dizziness like your thing, either. I travel via the nether to get to my runed circle points. Are we going to find that dragon or not?
*the planet rumbles again at her departure* *”Cause no problem and take not from the collective life on this planet and you will be granted a home. Cause no threat and harmonize with what already exists and you may live here. I can promise you that much. You are not the first traveller to this planet, and you will probably not be the last. However, some have arrived with evil intentions in mind. My guardian has the task of annihilating that threat.”*
Sephiroth: *sighs tiredly and slowly nods. He contacts Aeris and is quiet for several moments as he talks with her, mumbling* Something…. about a WEAPON being born to destroy Jenova. And… there’s a dragon loose on the planet now. It’s not a native one.
Desiree: *finally reappears right in front of Kalysto’s face then shrugs* Yea, I guess. I still don’t know where we are or where the dragon is. *she shrugs then starts to head northward. Soon enough, she enters Junon* Eww… stinks.
Jenna: A WEAPON? Hrmph, why is this planet doing anything with those things that even the spike-headed idiot defeated? *she shakes her head* That makes no sense. *she shrugs then frowns at Seph’s last sentence* Huh? So, after this many years, this idiotic planet already noticed Seferia?
Kalysto: *sniffs the air, raising his eyebrows slightly* What stinks? All I smell is the alluring scent of unharnessed free energies. Could we possibly find some before my next bout of withdrawal, please? *seems rather calm and sincere in his words right now* I need it. I like it. And without it, I can’t function properly.
Sephiroth: Possibly… is Seferia large? Because Aeris said it was a big dragon. A huge one. Near the size of the Weapon itself. *sighs in irritation* I have no idea what she is talking about, unless it is Seferia. I don’t know what other “huge dragon” there could be that is not native. *lowers his head, then begins to purr weakly at her, still not particularly happy with his own current predicament*
Desiree: *stares at Kalysto as he begins to beg at her. She then groans and shakes her head* Umm.. Whatever. But if I have to drag your butt anywhere, I’m leaving you behind. Understand? *she snorts in irritation* I’m not a babysitter. *she looks about the town and grumbles* What a dump..
Jenna: Hmm.. Seferia’s not that large.. She’s only about 75 feet long or so.. Still. *she shrugs then blinks at Sephiroth, mostly because she’s confused by the noise that he’s making. She then moves closer to him* Isn’t that noise supposed to indicate that you’re content…?
Kalysto: I’m not asking you to be a babysitter. I’m asking you to lead me to the source of the odor. Give me that and I will be on my way again. *shrugs his shoulders* Do you agree to this? Or no? *frowns* What else might I be able to do to sway your mind?
Sephiroth: *slowly shakes his head* No, not in this case. I was just trying to get your attention, if you’re not too preoccupied with the information I have given you. *moves to place his head down on her shoulder*
Desiree: I said I would. Shessh, you’re not listening. *she shakes her head* I just don’t have a damn clue where to go. *She sticks her tongue out at him* All I was saying is that if you pass out again, I’m not dragging your butt anywhere. Comprehende?
Jenna: *releases a faint chuckle then reaches up to scratch the back of Seph’s head* You always have my attention, my love. *She sighs and shakes her head* If all this has been about a WEAPON.. there’s not much that we can do at the moment. *she looks up at him* What sort of attention did you want, hm?
Sephiroth: The planet is angry and has sent the WEAPON to deal with all those linked to Jenova. It will probably come here before too long. *frowns ans makes a soft grunting noise in his irritation* I’m not really trying to seek attention. I am just in a bad situation and there is nought that I can do about it.
Kalysto: Compre-what? *shakes his head at her, then begins to mumble in his native language* If you have no clue where to go, why are we here? *shrugs* It doesn’t matter. There’s a rune portal in your house. We can go back there at any time.
Jenna: Hmm… It probably won’t come here, Seph. Remember, we’ve already made a deal with this planet. We can’t very well allow it to reincarnate its Cetra, now can it? *she shakes her head* It would be a stupid move to void our contract by trying to kill us all.
Desiree: Comprehende. Comprehend. Understand. You know, those words. *she shakes her head and shrugs. She then blinks as he speaks in his native tongue* Uh.. yea.. whatever.. You do that. *she turns around and looks about. She then heads to a random item store*
Kalysto: I do that? You’re saying you want me to go back and use the rune portal to get back to your residency? If that’s the case, why did you even teleport us here in the first place? *shakes his head at her* Right… you teleported us here and you want me to teleport us back. I don’t see any logic in that.
Sephiroth: I hope you are right… I don’t really want to be killed by it. Even though I am immortal, a lot of us here are not. *grunts* So now that you know what is going on, what are we going to do ? We can always do nothing, if you do not care about the prescence of a foreign dragon. But I don’t trust that either.
Desiree: *groans and glares back at the elf* Look, I didn’t understand what you said earlier. So I didn’t know what to say. Now, get your ass over here. We might find something. *With that, she moves into the store. Soon enough, she picks up a hi-potion and stares at it* Uh.. Well.. *shrugging, she tosses it to Kalysto* Says it is a potion for getting high.
Jenna: *she shakes her head* I don’t have answers quite yet. We just don’t have enough information at all.. *she shakes her head* Let’s.. Just try to relax, hm? Dimitri’s still injured and needs us here. You’ve had a horrid time as of late. *she nods to his hand* And.. There’s no reason to rush out there to save Jenova.
Kalysto: *stares at the hi-potion and narrows his eyes at the girl* Is this meant to be some kind of joke? Because you’re not being very funny, lady. *folds his arms, glaring at the vial full of liquid* What’s it meant to do anyway? It looks suspiciously like a health potion.
Sephiroth: *mutters* Save Jenova? I don’t want to save her… I want her dead. *scowls* I just don’t want to be caught up in the planet’s war with her because I carry her cells also. *glances down at his hand, then moves to cover it subtly* I’m fine.
Desiree: I don’t know. All that I know is that the lable says “hi-potion”. So.. it must have something to do with “hi”, right? And it can’t possibly greet. At least, I can’t thin of a way that a potion can do that. Just drink it and we’ll find out, hm?
Jenna: *shakes her head* I know better than to trust you when you say things like that, Seph. You are not fine. You lost a hand. That’s definitely not a “fine” situation. *she sighs moves to the bed. She then sits down* Do you want a massage?
Kalysto: I don’t want to drink it if you don’t even know what it is. And I’m not trying to get ‘high’ either. *frowns at her, flicking his ears back in his annoyance* And if it’s just a health potion, it’s going to do jack shit. *tries to hand it back to her* This is a collosial waste of my time. I told you what I was after, and if you cannot deliver then please go away.
Sephiroth: No… I will be fine. *furrows his brows, seeming bitter* What can I do? I can’t do anything about it. You don’t approve of my wanting to do anything about it, either.
Desiree: Oh for.. Why the hell are you being so dependent on me? *Groans then glares at the store clerk* Hey, do you sell anything here that has anything to do with magic? *she snatches the bottle from Kalysto* And what the hell is this stuff?
Jenna: *shakes her head* It’s not that I don’t approve, Seph… It’s just.. What can we do? You can’t even hold your sword properly yet. *she frowns and glances down at his hand* Even if we try to deal with that WEAPON at right this second, we might not defeat it.
Dimitri: *whimpers as he wakes up from his nap. Stumbling out of his room, he walks over to Sephiroth. He then tugs on his father’s pants* Hurts…
Kalysto: I… I’m the one being dependant on you? You’re the one who followed me. You’re the one who put me here, in this completely irrelevant position. I told you what it was. It looks suspiciously like a health potion. You drink it and it increases your stamina. You can fight longer. You have more resilience against your enemies.
Sephiroth: We? I never said I was going to involve you in what is most likely perceived as a selfish persuit. I was going to research it in my own time… *frowns at her, then turns his attention to Dimitri, moving to pick him up*
Desiree: *Frowns at Kalysto. She then sighs even louder as the clerk confirms that it is a health-potion. However, she soon snatches up the ether potions that he points out before dumping one literally all over Kalysto* There, that one isn’t health and stamina!
Dimitri: *whimpers as he’s picked up. He then clings onto Sephiroth* My wing hurts…
Jenna: *She shakes her head* Seph, I would support and help you on anything that you choose to do. I just.. don’t know what to do at the moment. *she looks over at Dimitri. She then pats the section of bed next to her* Sit down, Seph.
Kalysto: *makes a loud shrieking noise, sounding much like a pre-pubescent girl who has just seen a rat or a bug* Get it off, get it off! Not my hair! What the hell are you doing to me!? *runs out of the shop, waving his arms about in a panic* It’s on me!
Sephiroth: *sighs* Alright. *carries Dimitri to the bed and sits down near the middle of it as he has been told to. He places the boy down nearby him, gently moving him onto his side, the injured wing on the top of the two* Rest there. You’ll be fine.
Desiree: *rolls her eyes at Kalysto’s reaction* Overdramatize much? *sighing, she turns around and grabs onto several more bottles of various ethers and elixirs. After stuffing the bottles in a bag, she storms after Kalysto before firmly grabbing onto his arms* Will you stop that?
Dimitri: *sniffles* But it hurts… Don’t wanna sleep, father. *he shuffles closer to hug onto his father’s arm* No sleep.. Why hurt so much?
Jenna: *softly sighs at her son’s words. She then reaches over to gently pat the top of his head* It’ll heal up soon enough, boy. Then it won’t hurt. *she soon glances up at Sephiroth and nods*
Kalysto: *stops panicking long enough to glare at her* YOU! You did this to me! *grumbles openly for a few moments in his native language* Why? I didn’t do anything to you. And what you gave me was certainly not what you gave me before. I need magic energies to stay sane. *folds his arms* Now I need that, and a shower. Thanks a lot. And I’m still missing out on whatever mayhem that dragon is causing.
Sephiroth: It will. You’re fortunate in the fact that you have somebody around who knew what they were doing when you were hurt in the first place. You will heal up just fine. Just give it some time, take it easy, and rest often.
Desiree: *Groans* I told you that I didn’t know where I was going. *she grabs the pack that she had stuffed with ethers. She then shoves it into Kalysto’s chest* Here, this is all that I found there. *Unfortunately for Kalysto, Desiree’s shove probably would put him right in the correct spot to have a puddle of mako leaking from the lines which head to the upper city fall right onto his head*
Dimitri: Mmmm.. *slowly nods at Sephiroth* Wanna haf it stop hurting now, though.. *he continues to hug onto Sephiroth. He then blinks as he touches his father’s left hand* Father, what happen?
Kalysto: *flinches slightly as he feels the warmish fluid drop onto his hair, immediately glancing up to look for the animal that possibly crapped on him. When the energies seap into his scalp, he doesn’t seem to mind any more and turns his attention fully above now* Maybe we should go up there instead.
Sephiroth: *glances down at his hand, then grunts slightly* I suppose you could say that I was hurt also. But my hand will never heal. It was cursed.
Desiree: *blinks as she sees the green luiquid fall on Kalysto. She then glances up as well then slowly nods* Ok, ok. Come here. I’ll take you up there. *she opens up her arms, indicating that she’ll embrace him when he comes near*
Jenna: *closes her eyes and scans the area, wanting to check up on the locations of the chlidren. She then deeply frowns and looks over at Sephiroth* Seph, where’s Desiree?
Dimitri: *whimpers at Sephiroth’s words. He then pats his father’s hand* No fair..
Kalysto: *as he is levitated up, he reaches up towards the sky, wanting to get closer to the source of the fluid that is dripping on him. He looks at the scenery above, seeming confused* What kind of horrid construction is this? Obviously done by a race with mechanical knowledge. There’s no magical flare anywhere.
Sephiroth: *relaxes the metallic hand for Dimitri to inspect it* Not fair, but that’s how it is.
