Desiree: *frowns and glances back at the books* Well… Umm… That’s a bit of a confusing thing for people who don’t know what happened to Halcyon. See, this island is from Earth. We’re currently on Gaea.. Mother and Father managed to actually transport this entire island from one planet to another. *She shrugs* But yea, no elves on this planet. There were ones on Earth though, at least before the Christianity shit. *She then deeply frowns at Kal’s next question* Xelong is not a pet.
Xelong: *continues to scarf down the food on the plate. However, he looks up as Kalysto asks if he can kill him. He then snorts* ~No, no kill me. I’m too beautiful to kill.~ *Snorting once more, he returns to eating*
Kalysto: *crouches down in front of the dragon and begins trying to rile and irritate him by poking at his wings and his neck, seeing how fast his reflexes are before he can get a hand bitten* It looks like a pet right now, but it will grow big and burn you all to a crisp. And it spoke via telepathy, be really careful – it’s one of the smart kinds. Thus, you should kill it right now. *smirks* Stupid little red whelp. I’ve seen these things before, they grow big and make clusters of themselves and infest entire regions.

Desiree: *rolls her eyes at the elf* I hardly think that it’s about to do anything of the sort any time soon. Even then, it’s Zach’s problem, not mine. He can deal with the dragon when it grows larger. If he’s smart about it, he’ll have a really good companion. *she smirks* However, Zach is hardly ever smart.
Xelong: *shuffles about as Kalysto pokes him, not fully enjoying the sensation. Finally, he glances up at the elf* ~That annoying. Stop. Want to eat.~
Desiree: *rolls her eyes at the elf* I hardly think that it’s about to do anything of the sort any time soon. Even then, it’s Zach’s problem, not mine. Kalysto: So what would that make you? A quarter Dragon-human hybrid? *shakes his head* Those species should not even be allowed to mix. It doesn’t sound very healthy. *grins as the dragon begins to squeak* Come on, squirm. I want to hear you start crying.
Zach: *is very quick to reply* *”What’s going on?”* *throws his books onto the floor and runs out of his room, bounding into the library. He is there within a few moments and makes a very loud aggressive growl when he approaches the scene* Leave my dragon alone!
Desiree: *scratches the back of her head* Umm.. well.. something like that. It’s more like part dragon, part human, and part alien thing with tentacles.. It’s complicated. *she shrugs* And I don’t care what you think. I bet I can do anything better than you.
Xelong: *continues trying to squirm. He then flaps his small, developing wings* ~Stop. Leave alone.~
Zach: *is quick to move in on the larger male, attempting the same intimidating growling noises that Sephiroth uses to get his way. Once close enough, he shoves the elf’s hand away and promptly picks Xelong up, cuddling him to his chest protectively, his snarling increasing in volume*
Kalysto: No, you couldn’t do anything better than I could. This is because I am of pure noble blood, and you are hybridized trash. *rolls his eyes at the younger male’s intrusion, then casually shrugs, moving away to the corner, turning his back to both Desiree and Zach* All of this is rather ridiculous, I must say. *grins* Don’t be in a fuss about your dragon, I wasn’t really going to kill it. I was just teasing it.
Desiree: *Glances at Zach’s outfit then groans* You were sleeping, weren’t you? *shaking her head, she nods toward the door* Go, take Xelong back to your room. I’ve been dealing with this guy. I think I can continue to deal with him. *she then narrows her eyes at the elf* Hmph, noble blood or not, I can still do much more than you. I can even do this.. *she narrows her eyes in concentration. She then tries to use her psychic abilities to try to manipulate the elf into yanking at his own ears, mostly because she doesn’t want to do anything to anger him too much*
Xelong: *chirps as Zach picks him up. He then presses himself up against his keeper* ~Much better..~
Kalysto: *stares at her in confusion for a few moments, glaring when his hands reach up to his ears and begin pulling on them against his will* Oh, mind-control, hm? How cheap. You know, I could break out of this if I wanted to, but until you make me inflict harm on myself, I don’t really see the point.
Zach: *cuddles Xelong to reassure him and carries him back downstairs to his room* *”You should bite people like that… bite, sink your teeth in, and shake your head. If you are lucky, you will do razing damage, or even rip out some flesh.”*
Desiree: ~Do you really think that I care whether or not you can break out of my manipulation techniques? No matter what, my Jenova cells give me dominance over lesser beings such as you.~ *she snorts then releases Kalysto from her mental hold* ~Anyway, I’m done showing off to you.~ *she glances at the table as she notices a map at the botom of the pile of books. She then shoves them aside to glance over what the map is*
Xelong: *releases a faint whine* ~Just wanted to eat. No want to fight.~
Kalysto: *narrows his eyes, and shakes his head. He steps away from her when she breaks off the manipulation, then moves away to burn another rune-circle onto the floor, raising his hands up to cast the spell. Once a nice clean circle has been smouldered into the floor, he glares back at Desiree once more* Hey, you. That liquid soul energy. Get me some more. You wanted to see me summon my companion demon again and so I shall. I need it back, anyway. I can steal from it if need be, and it always remains a loyal servant.
Zach: Oh, you want food? Want to go to the kitchen then? Or you want to hunt for mice? *grins* I love it when you do that. Your cute little pounce technique is always fun to watch. Especially when you wobble your butt before positioning yourself to pounce.
*deep from within the planet’s core, a low rumbling noise begins. For those attuned to such things, it would be noticable but not alarming right now, but something will begin brewing soon so they may want to make a note of the activities*
Desiree: *continues clearing off the desk to look at the map. She then tilts her head as she sees imprinted notes that seem to have been magically scorched on rather than written. So, for a few moments, she ignores the elf as she studies the map. She then blinks and looks over at him* Huh? *she frowns* I’ll only do that if you promise not to get smashed again. *with that, she returns to staring at the map*
Xelong: *yawns and shakes head* ~No, ate food. Now tired.~ *tries to snuggle up against Zach*
Jenna: *groans as she finally finishes Seph’s hand. She then drags herself to her feet and stumbles down the stairs to her bedroom where Seph is. Since she’s exhausted and sleep-deprived, she doesn’t notice either the rumbling or the elf as she passes by him*
Zach: Really? What kind of food did you eat? *holds the dragon up and examines him over, then carries him back downstairs so he can hide him under the covers in his bed*
Kalysto: Smashed? I didn’t get smashed. I only got nicely drunk off the energy. It was good for me, too. If I don’t do it every once in a while, I will get withdrawal symptoms. *waves his hand to try and bring her over* Now hand over the goods.
Sephiroth: *is quite asleep by now and is curled up on his side, his arm resting off to one side so as not to put any pressure on it*
Desiree: *deeply sighs, shaking her head at the elf’s words. Finally, she straightens up, deciding to leave the map for some other day. So, she walks over to the elf then snorts* Fine, follow me. We’ll get you more mako. *with that, she heads back through the base. She travels through the various tunnels, temporarily stopping in her room to pick up a pail, until she reaches the hole to the lifestream again. Once above the hold, she levitates down to the lifestream and begins to scoop up a small bit of the liquid* Man… this stinks.. *she then narrows her eyes as she notices a rumbling from under the lifestream* Strange…
Xelong: ~Hmm… Don’t know.~ *he sends Zach a psychic impression of the food that he had nabbed from the library* ~Was nice.~ *As soon as he’s set down under the covers, he moves to curl up at the warmest spot*
Jenna: *faintly grins as she finally reaches Seph’s side. She then gently nudges her mate* Seph, wake up. It’s time to finish this.
Sephiroth: *makes an annoyed groaning sound in reply, trying to indicate to Jenna that he really doesn’t want to move or go anywhere right now. He idly swats a hand at her and curls up further*
Zach: *chuckles* *”So you like pasta and meat sauce and seafood? I should catch you some fish to eat, if you like seafood. You will benefit from the calcium in the fish bones.”*
Kalysto: *follows on behind Desiree, shrugging to himself as he walks down into the trapdoor. He covers his nose as he follows her further down, cringing slightly* It smells of decay. *grin* And death. *tilts his head to one side as he hears the rumbling also* It is strange. What are you keeping down here?
Jenna: *continues trying to shove Sephiroth* Seph, wake up. It’s time. We just need to do this. Then, you can go back to sleep. *she groans as she continues shaking him about*
Xelong: *tilts his head in thought. He then bobs it before yawning and curling up once more* ~Like plan. Good.~
Desiree: *frowns up at Kalysto and then floats back up to his location* I’m not keeping anything down there. I don’t know what that’s about. *she snorts and shrugs* Maybe the planet is whining again. *with that, she shoves the pail at the elf* Here.
Sephiroth: Time to what… no. *raises his arm and tries to push her away, poking her with arm stub* Just leave me be. Leave me lying here… *scowls* I don’t want it done. I want to grow my hand back and I want to do it my way…
Zach: *once he is back in his room, he pops the dragon in the middle of his bed where he typically lies so Xelong can feel safe with Zach’s scent all around him. Once that is done, the boy pulls the covers over him to cover him up completely* Take a nap, little one. I’m glad you like pasta because it’s usually hard for a guy like you to get carbohydrates from food via natural circumstances.
Kalysto: *takes the pail from Desiree, scowling at her* Whining? How can a piece of rock whine? *glances down at the pail and carries it back* My.. this is going to be interesting.
Jenna: *shakes her head. She then grips onto Seph’s arm and tries to hold it still* Seph, we’ve already talked about this. You’re not about to grow back your hand any time soon. *she shakes her head* With the feel of the curse… It will probably be never. Now, please, you promised to let me do this.
Desiree: I can’t exactly explain that so well. You see, this planet is living and stuff… So, yea… It can whine. *she lowers herself to the ground. She then moves to follow after the elf* Well, when are you going to start this thing?
Sephiroth: No.. *tries to pull the covers over his head, wanting her to go away* I don’t want to do it. Go away. Leave me to sleep…
Kalysto: Yes, I’m going to start this thing. You want to summon a demon from the underworld and have it follow your every command? Well, the summoning is easy, but if you want a faithful companion, you must find one you can break easily. *pours some of the mako onto the runic circle, then stands over it, closing his eyes as he begins the summoning spell to drag his demon-puppy back from the astral – plane once again*
Jenna: *frowns then moves to sit ontop of Sephiroth, intending to make him uncomfortable. She then glares down at him, though the expression is a bit mellowed due to the fact that she’s quite tired* Seph, I haven’t slept at all because I was working hard on completing this for you. Please, let me just finish this up.
Desiree: *frowns slightly at the elf’s directions, feeling that he isn’t really explaining much to her. Still, she moves to lean against the wall. She tilts her head as studies his actions and the runes at his feet. She then cocks her eyebrow as the demon begins to show up*
