Kalysto: *visibly bristles at her reply, then flicks his hand at Droozun* Get under her feet and trip her over at every opportunity. *turns his back on her and continues heading up the stairs* Leave me alone. I don’t want your help, or your pity.
Droozun: *makes a happy noise and immediately springs at Desiree’s feet, trying to bowl her over*
Desiree: *Yelps as she watches Droozun come near her. She then quickly leaps into the air, trying to hover over Droozun’s head. She then narrows her eyes at Kalysto* Fine, you made me do this! *with that, she tries to psychically shove him into a wall*
Kalysto: *stumbles as he is shoved against the wall and strikes it, falling onto the stairs a moment later. He seems quite disorientated and drags himself to a sitting position shortly after*
Droozun: *because it’s master has been attacked, the Felhunter immediately goes into attack mode and attempts to bite Desiree’s leg, snarling in anger*
Desiree: ~Hey, stop that!~ *she lifts herself higher up into the air* ~It’s his fault. If he wasn’t being such a pain, I wouldn’t have needed to do that. She then concentrates on Kalysto and tries to lift him up in the air*
Droozun: *jumps up into the air, trying to snap at Desiree’s feet. He growls in anger as she raises herself out of his reach and he raises his stalk-feelers up, spiking their tips, grumbling at the fact he can’t really do anything now*
Kalysto: *glares at Desiree, then flicks his wrists, teleporting himself away from the area, and to the nearest demonic circle, which happens to be the one in Desiree’s bedroom*
Desiree: *hisses and continues trying to stay out of Droozuns’ reach. She then narrows her eyes at Kalysto teleports away. However, rather than chase after him, she just tries to lift him up again via her psychic powers since he’s still relatively nearby* ~Just stop this!~
Kalysto: *”Stop what? Stop deploying defensive tactics so you’ll stop trying to attack me? Yeah, right… and let you shove me around some more until I yield to your stupid idea? You can’t force your opinions onto others….”*
Desiree: ~I just want you to give it a damn chance. Please.. It won’t hurt you to just talk to her.~ *she lifts Kalysto up even higher* ~I don’t want to force you. You’re just being stubborn and had your guy attack me first.~
Kalysto: *hisses in anger* *”You really won’t take no for an answer will you!?”* *raises his hands and hurls a shadow bolt at the wall, then attempts to conflagerate the carpetting* *”I don’t WANT to, accept that and leave me alone!”*
Droozun: *bounds away from Desiree and heads towards his master, snarling in confusion*
Desiree: ~No, you’re acting worse than my little brother. Seriously, just be an adult and accept the help. It won’t hurt you to talk to her!~ *She floats out of Kalysto’s room and moves toward the doorway to her room* ~I’m not going to let you be a stubborn idiot..~
Kalysto: *Hisses at her* You’re being just as bad. If somebody says no, they mean it! Now, let me down from here! *struggles and wiggles in his spot* I still have things that I need to do. And you’re stopping me.
Desiree: *hisses then shakes her head* No. You’re being absolutely ridiculous. I want to help you. Let me help you. God damn it!
Kalysto: So you’re not even going to let me down so I can tend to my plants? *glares* Why should I co-operate with you? I’m not going to gain anything out of it. I don’t want your help, and I don’t know what else there is I can say to you. No means no. *glares* Put me down.
Desiree: As long as you remain stubborn about this, no. You can stay there in the air all day long. *she crosses her arms* You’re being stubborn for no good reason at all. We both know that you struggle with this thing.
Kalysto: Set me down. *pins his ears back* This is incredibly demeaning and it’s a poor thing for you to be doing to anyone. I don’t really want your help. I’m not asking for it either. Just accept that and let it go. *folds his arms* If I at least agree to listen to this person, will that satisfy you?
Desiree: Yes, just talk to her. Like I said, she knows stuff. Mother’s also like four hundred years old or something. She’s done a lot of research in her time. *she then waves her hand before letting Kalysto just drop to the ground*
Kalysto: *lands with a bump, seeming annoyed. He readjusts his cloak and cowl, tucking his ears back into it. Once that is done, he fluffs the rest of his clothes and stalks out of the room, intending to head back up the stairs* I still want to tend to my plants.
Desiree: Hrmph.. I don’t know why you have to be so stubborn.. *she shakes her head. She then slowly lowers herself to the ground and looks at Droozun* Your master is stubborn as hell.
Droozun: *makes a grunting sound in agreement and bounds off after Kalysto, wanting to keep up with him*
Kalysto: *walks upstairs and heads out of the base. Once outside, he slips away, heading down a track he is familiar with, walking into open area beyond the base. Once he has reached the area, he crouches down to check on the status of the plants he has been growing. Satisfied, he begins to pick some of them, pulling a small pouch out of his pocket to begin collecting what he has grown*
Desiree: *sighs and glances around her room after Kalysto leaves. Soon enough, she begins to tidy it up a bit by picking up any signs of clutter. She then pauses as she looks at the left-over markings from his unfortunate entrance into Halcyon* I wonder if those will ever vanish..
*the burned summoning circle, while still there, will have smudged or frayed at it’s edges if it has been walked on a lot. There isn’t much else to it, other than the fact it would be easy to smudge and scrub off it one were to try*
Kalysto: *because he is being left alone outside, he relaxes somewhat. He continues to pick the most mature leaves off the plants he has been growing, then takes the pouch back inside so he can take it to the kitchen and begin brewing them*
Desiree: *moves closer to the markings and kneels down to inspect them. Soon enough, she gathers up some cleaning materials and begins to scrub off the marking* Sorry, Kalysto.. But this has been on my floor for too long. *So, for quite some time, she busies herself with scrubbing hte markings. Once she is done, she glances at the clock then sighs* Damn it.. What’s he doing… *so, she gets to her feet and moves to find him*
Kalysto: *by the time Desiree has moves back to his location, she would find him in the kitchen. There is a large pot on the stove and it is boiling away heavily. Inside is a carefully balanced recipee mix of herbs and leaves, and their boiling in water gives off a very pleasant aromatic scent which fills the kitchen air. The elf himself gently stirs the pot with a large wooden spoon, seeming a little discontent with his creation*
Desiree: *pauses in the doorway to the kitchen as she finds Kalysto. She then tilts her head* Hmm… That smells interesting. But.. you don’t seem to be happy with what you’re making. What’s wrong?
Kalysto: *mutters* It’s missing something. It’s not going to be strong enough. *dips a ladel into the concoction and takes a sip, scowling* Needs ginger-root. Or lemon, or honey. Something to give it a tang. *reaches into his pouch and pulls out some of of the blue-glowing spikier leaves, tossing them all into the pot. They give the boiling liquid a very very mild glow, which pleases the male elf* Somewhat better…
