Sephiroth: Sleep…. hmm. *takes the infant, then carefully sets her down in one of the other passenger seats before lying down on the seat opposite* I don’t want to crush her. *puts his head down and closes his eyes, shifting about as he tries to get comfortable*
Kalysto: *makes a soft hiccup and burps, but remains stomach-side down on his bed*
Zulmire: We were workin towards his mana-independance before. But… I don’t think he actually wants to do without it.
Desiree: *nods at Zulmire* He’s mentioned it to me before.. I’ve become familiar with events like these. *she shakes her head* It’s really sad at times. *She flicks at a stray hair on the back of Kalysto’s head. She then moves her hand to begin massaging the elf’s right ear* So… when do you think that egg is going to hatch?
Jenna: *glances back and grins at Sephiroth. She then quickly casts a spell to help secure the infant, for she doesn’t want it to get injured. Once she feels that both the infant and Seph are fine, she returns her attention to the skies before them*
Zulmire: Within the week. *nods* Within da week for sure. Da baby is actually ready ta’ hatch as is now. But it don’t wanna come out right now. I try tappin’ on da egg like mudder-raptor does to make her chicks come out, but… *shakes his head* Is not ready yet. *watches Desiree touch Kalysto’s hair* I needin’ to be cuttin’ dat hair soon. He usually so proud an’ proper, I dunno why he let it get like dat.
Sephiroth: *initially quietly hums a tune to himself as he settles down, but soon drifts off to sleep thanks to the gentle rocking motion of the cabin and the droning noise of the engine*
Desiree: It’s needed cutting for months now.. I’ve seen him staring at it for like hours non-stop for the last few months. *she shakes her head* I think the main reason he hasn’t done anything is that none of us are beauticians here. *she shrugs and continues the massage Kalysto’s ear*
Zulmire: On da’ contrary, I be the one who cut his hair all da’ time before. Is part o’ da reason he be likin to grow da’ spikes. Is common among Darkspears t’ have spikey hair. It makes you look more threatenin’. *chuckles lightly* Heh. What you be doin’ there… dat can be considered sexual. *smirks* Deir ears are bein’ very sensitive.
Desiree: Hmmm? What does it look like I’m doing to you? I’m sitting here, on his bed, right next to him, and I’m rubbing his ear. Kinda hard to not see what I’m doing with you standing there. *she shrugs* He and I have had sex, so I don’t care if it’s considered sexual or not…
Zulmire: Heh… well don’t be surprised if somethin’ bad happens if yeh keep messin’ around like that. *eyes one of the bottles on the table which has taken on a faint green glow. He sets the others down and picks it up, narrowing his eyes at it* Da bastard actually managed to concentrate fel-energies…
Desiree: Heh, thank you for the warning, but I’ll be fine. I’m used to hanging around him by now. *she then tilts her head* Fel-energies? I’ve heard him mention that before…
Zulmire: Dey exist in the realm he like to toy around with. But the energies be hard t’ collect, let alone concentrate into liquid form like ‘dis. Must have taken him weeks. *places a cork on the particular bottle and tucks it into a pocket* Dat one Imma gonna confiscate. Da rest…. *picks up another vial* Looks like nothin’ more den crushed herbs an’ mana-thistle. The normal way dey satiate their cravins.
Desiree: Well, he does nearly constantly work at that table there. *she shakes her head* He needs new hobbies. *she then glances over at Kalysto’s hair once more before smirking* Perhaps we should give him incentive to not smash himself next time. *with that, she begins giving Kalysto a pair of pig tails*
Zulmire: Unfortunately, his calin’ and his hobbies are too close to each other. So it be almost impossible to say whether he be toyin’ around, or learnin’ about da deeper aspects in his class of magics. At least I can’ be proud t’ say that it never has taken him over.
Kalysto: *begins to stir. He makes a tired noise and slowly sits up, scratching at the side of his head before opening his eyes, blearily staring forwards* What the… *pats his pigtails and scowls as he tries to mess his hair up to get rid of them*
Desiree: Mmm… Yes, I suppose you’re lucky with that. *she then tilts her head as Kalysto finally wakes up. As he begins to pull at the pigtails, she leans in toward him* Good morning, sleepy-head. Zulmire here told me that you’ve been a naughty boy.
Kalysto: What…? *glances over at Desiree. The light in his eyes is so strong and green right now that it’s almost impossible to see his eye-pupils* Who said I’ve been a naughty boy? *yawns tiredly, then scratches his side* What did I do…?
Desiree: You went ahead and got yourself smashed.. again. *She frowns as she notices how much his eyes are glowing* Damn, you must have really gone all-out. *she shakes her head at him*
Kalysto: *glares hard at her before sliding off the bed, shoving her slightly as he moves past* I have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about. I’m perfectly fine. Now if you will excuse me, I really have to pee. *moves into the bathroom and shuts the door behind him*
Desiree: Kalyto, none of us here are idiots. We can clearly see how much your eyes are glowing. Let alone the mess that you left behind. *she shakes her head and leans against the wall again, leaving him be to relieve himself. She then looks over at Zulmire* You should probably go back to checking on the egg… Unless you want to cut his hair.
Zulmire: *nods his head* I will probably do th’ latter, jus’ to take th’ topic away from what he be doin’ with the fel-energies. Unfortunately, the more you push it, the grouchier an’ the more stubborn he gonna get about it. *sighs* Somethin’ needs t’ be said, but.. *shrugs* I will go an’ get the scissors.
Kalysto: *”What I do in the privacy of my own room, honestly, is nobody’s fucking business.”*
Desiree: ~Until you start harming yourself. In which case, some things should not simply be left as is..~ *she nods at Zulmire* Go ahead. I’m certain he’ll love to have those pigtails fully removed. *she giggles at the thought of the hair style that she had given Kalysto*
Kalysto: *”Am I corrupted? Am I killing myself? Am I weak-willed and being overpowered by a demon?”* *snorts* *”If any of the following are yes, then by all means, fuck up my work. But until that happens, stay the hell out of things that don’t concern you. If the interferring keeps happening, I’ll just take my business elsewhere – it’s as simple as that.”* *finishes up in the restroom and comes out again, scowling as he shakes his head. He has undone the pigtails and he heads for his table so he can begin packing up the stuff he has on it*
Desiree: *rolls her eyes* To be blunt and honest, Kalysto, I’m not interfering at all. All I did was sit here, drain off a small big of that excess energy that you injested, massaged your head and ear while you were still out of it, and then mention that you got yourself smashed. *she frowns at him* I don’t care if you feel the need to ingest energy.. but do you really need to go so far as to incapacitate yourself?
Kalysto: You really don’t get it, do you… *stands tall and turns to face her, glaring* One day, I’ll link my soul to yours and you can feel first-hand just how bad a withdrawal is. You make it sound like it’s a walk in the park, but you really don’t get it. And until you experience it, you probably never will. *glares down at his table, then at Desiree again* Bullshit, you’re not interferring with my stuff. Where the hell is half of my supplies?
Desiree: As I said, I’m not interfering. *she shakes her head* Zulmire was in here before I even entered your room. He was going through your stuff. Do you want me to repeat my list of actions again? Absolutely none of them involve taking your stuff. *She sighs* And managing a withdrawal still doesn’t mean that you need to incapacitate yourself…
Kalysto: *rather calm and politely speaks* Oh. I see. My mistake. I apologize. *turns to glare hard at Zulmire, then he makes a loud annoyed sound* So you stole it then, huh? What are you going to do with it all, destroy it? Put it all back on this table, right now. *points to the table and shakes his head, then raises a hand out towards the troll, starting a fire in his palm as if threatening him with it*
Zulmire: *tiredly sighs* Dere be better ways to manage dis thing. Jus’ stay calm an let it be, eh?
Desiree: *groans at Kalysto’s actions. She then gets up to her feet, though she sways slightly because she’s still a bit out of it tanks to the energy she had syphoned off of Kalysto. Soon after, she moves behind the elf then gently sets her hands on his shoulders* Settle down..
Kalysto: *gives Desiree a light shove when she touches him* Get away from me. *growls at Zulmire, then makes a loud angry noise* Fine, you want it? Take it. I don’t give a damn. I hope you enjoy it, because there’s plenty more where that came from, let me assure you. *pushes past the troll and exits the room*
