Sephiroth: I wouldn’t say entertaining. I would say familiar, however. *pushes the handle-less door open and continues to head for the roof* I assume you know how to fly a plane, yes? It would be silly of us to make our way up there and to sit in one while knowing nothing about their operation.
Jenna: Hm? Aren’t you supposed to know everything, Seph? *she chuckles* Yes, I know how to fly planes. I have built them. I definitely know how to fly them. *she glances around as they reach the roof* However, I need a plane first.
Sephiroth: *glances across the runway as they move onto the roof* Yes, you will need a plane. There doesn’t appear to be any up here right now though. *scowls as he sees one of the Ex-ShinRa helicopters parked off to one side* How about that?
Jenna: *follows Sephiroth’s gaze. As soon as she spots the helicopter, she tilts her head in thought* Hmmm… Well, we can use it. It’ll be significantly more noisy though. *she looks over at him* As long as you are fine with it, I will be fine with it.
Sephiroth: If it flies, it’s good enough to get us out of here. That’s the only reason we came up here. May as well use it. *heads over to the helicopter and proceeds to break the lock on the door* If we get out of here quickly, they won’t notice our departure fast enough.
Jenna: *nods in agreement to Sephiroth’s words. She then climbs up into the helicopter once the door is open. However, she stops to face him after getting in* I can’t fly this thing and hold an infant at the same time. Rather difficult. *with that, she tries to hand the newborn to Sephiroth*
Sephiroth: *steps back from the helicopter to hold onto the infant for Jenna, scowling as he surveys the landing* There’s still nobody here. We should actually see if that stupid helicopter even works. It’s the only one here, and nobody is patrolling the roof. Two interesting signs.
Jenna: Well, the people who own the helicopter are either dead or bankrupt.. I should think. *she shrugs* But yes, let’s make certain. *with that, she moves into the cockpit. Soon enough, she begins attempting to start up the flying machine*
Sephiroth: Bankrupt, not necessarily dead. There’s still ShinRa employees here who work under somebody else. I’m not sure what the situation is, but there are still skilled workers here. *doesn’t step into the helicopter and just watches, waiting to see what will happen*
*the helicopter makes a loud sputtering noise, acting like it hasn’t been used in a while. It does manage to start up though, and the blades begin to turn. The only thing that is wrong, is that the vehicle has low fuel*
Jenna: *glances at the fuel gauge then frowns before tilting her head to look at her mate* We need to find a fuel source. As it is, this thing will not get far at all. Do you know where they used to store the fuel?
Sephiroth: *shakes his head* I don’t know. I never flew these things personally. I was just transported in them. I can’t really tell you where to find fuel for any flying-based thing here. *frowns*
Jenna: *deeply sighs* Just… Get on. *she frowns in thought. She then grumbles to herself* This is probably going to wind up dangerous, but.. *she soon casts a spell to make the fuel level in the tank rise*
Sephiroth: As long as you don’t kill the infant, I don’t care what you end up doing. *takes a seat in the passenger area, scowling at the familiarity of the place. He sets the infant down in his lap, then nods at Jenna* Lets get out of here before they notice.
Jenna: *rolls her eyes* I’m a good pilot. Do not worry about that part. *she does one last check to insure that the settings are passable. She then fully starts the rotors before taking off. As the helicopter shakes, she grumbles to herself* Planes are much better…
Sephiroth: I don’t doubt your ability to fly. You said something is going to wind up being dangerous – hence I said what I said about not killing the infant. Thus, I still don’t care about the situation, as long as the infant survives the trip home. *leans back in his seat* As for the plane… if there had been one, we would have chosen that. But there isn’t, and we’re in this, so that is that.
Jenna: *rolls her eyes at Sephiroth* Yes, yes, I know that, Seph. I just was only expressing my opinion on these machines. In fact, your hearing is too good, because you weren’t supposed to hear it. *she broadly smirks* Stop being a super-soldier.
Sephiroth: Stop criticizing my abilities and maybe I will. *smirks* Woman. *relaxes all the way back in the seat, and rests the infant on his chest* It is good indeed to have you back. I was getting rather lonely. And unhappy with the psychotic outbursts.
Jenna: I can’t say that it is very enjoyable to be in that state either… *she lowers her head slightly as she thinks about the last few months, or rather the bits that she can remember* I am very appreciative that you were so loyal and patient. Most men would not have been… at all..
Sephiroth: Possibly. But I’m not most men. Am I. *grunts at her and shakes his head* Don’t worry about it. Just focus on the flight home, its much more important. *pats the infant’s back and frowns as he thinks of a way to change the subject* So where do you think she got the horns from. It doesn’t seem like a gene from either one of us at all.
Jenna: *broadly smirks* Well, I didn’t sleep around recently, it that’s what you’re trying to get at. *She softly chuckles, figuring Seph won’t determine that she isn’t being serious. She then frowns as she seriously considers the subject* Well.. Considering that I’m supposed to be half-dragon.. And dragons have horns.. and my draconic form has horns… probably me.
Sephiroth: *raises a brow at her words* That seems to be a rather awfully simple deduction if I do say so myself. *makes a tired yawn, but does not put his head down to snooze. He is still unhappy with his surroundings and soon tries to distract himself by looking out one of the windows*
Jenna: Is it not said that the simplest answers are usually the best ones. As a general, I’m certain that you’ve proven that to be true many a time. At least, I don’t think I’ve heard of many military commanders that like to overcomplicated their strategies. *grunts as she hits a patch of turbulence*
Sephiroth: *sits up suddenly, holding the infant firmly in his arms as he makes a threatening growl at nothing in particular as the turubulance hits the helicopter. He quickly scans the immediate area and makes a frustrated snort before relaxing again*
Jenna: *glances back as she hears Sephiroth growling. She then shakes her head and sighs* You can calm down. We’re not being attacked. *she smirks at him* You know, there was once a time when you had so much “honor” that you would have never have thought of stealing things like this. *she chuckles* Oh, how far you’ve come.
