Desiree: *Frowns and shakes her head at Kalysto* ~Very well.~ *she then looks up at Zulmire* Kalysto keeps on asking me to have both of us leave. If you want me to explain the egg… Just meet me in my room. And put it back under the bed. *with that, she gives the top of Kalysto’s head one last affectionate pat before walking to her room*
Zulmire: I ain’t leavin him right now. He needs to be watched over, you know. He not outta da woods yet – jus barely into em actually. No, I be stayin right here until his wound knits over. Unless you want him to die?

Desiree: No.. I don’t want him to die… *sighing, she glances at Kalysto once more* Hmm… perhaps this will work. *she holds her right hand toward him before softly muttering under her breath. Soon enough, she casts a sleep spell on him. Once that is done, she sits at the edge of Kalysto’s bed then glances at Zulmire* The egg is his offspring, I’m certain of it..
Zulmire: He… *pauses* How da hell does an elf do the sideways voodoo shuffle and get an egg? I didn’t know much about em until I got dat one to take care of, but is pretty basic to know dat they don’t lay eggs. That’s absolutely ridiculous, mon.
Desiree: *shakes her head* He didn’t lay an egg at all.. No, it’s not like that at all. You see, there’s this big dragon. And well.. she used some type of magic or influence.. And she raped him. *she shrugs* I don’t know exactly how she did it. But yea… The dragon laid the egg… And apparently, she wants him to take care of this egg. Don’t ask me. I don’t understand dragons. I’m only part one.
Zulmire: Well o’ course HE didn’t lay an egg, silly girleh! *laughs aloud for a few moments* He’s a male. Dey be lackin in da egg-makin abilities, mon. Anybody should know dat. Hmm. *glances down at Kalysto* Dis true, huh? What are you gonna do about da egg, mon?
Kalysto: F… fuck off, old man..
Desiree: *frowns* Damn.. guess he’s resisting the sleep spell.. *shaking her head, she tries to mutter the words to another sleep spell, intending to help knock out Kalysto* Come on.. you need sleep…
Kalysto: *”I’d rather go to sleep on my own than be told when to sleep, when to do this, when to do that… If you can’t tell me to do it, you make me do it. That’s not the actions of an ally at all…”* *puts up weak resistance, but succumbs to the sleep spell*
Desiree: *Releases a soft sigh as Kalysto goes to sleep* I know.. but it’s not really forcing you to sleep if you wanted to sleep anyway.. *So, she remains on Kalysto’s bed, remaining nearby so that she can tend to his needs*
*For the next week, she continues to concentrate her efforts on helping Kalysto heal. Despite his complaints, she remains undeterred and continues to provide her assistance*
Kalysto: *over the next week, he heals considerably, or at least enough to more or less resume his grouchy-old self. He spends most of his time in his room, and is currently trying to sew up the huge hole in the front of his robe which was made by Sephiroth when he was stabbed*
Desiree: *has gotten the hang of making tea while she’s been caring over Kalysto and helping him heal. So, she is currently bringing a fresh cup of tea to Kalysto’s room as he works on patching his robe. Silently slipping into his room, she moves to the side of his bed then sets the cup down*
Kalysto: *without saying a word, he flicks an ear in her direction to show that he has acknowledged her prescence while he continues to work on repairing the damage. He reaches to one side to pick up the cup, then sips on it, jerking his head back a bit* Ouch, you didn’t warn me it was hot!
Desiree: *rolls her eyes at Kalysto* You’ve told me several times that it’s supposed to be hot. So, it’s not like I’m about to make it cold.. *she glances at his bandaged ear* How are you feeling today? *with that, she moves closer, intending to check over his ear the very least*
Kalysto: *glances up at her, then moves his head away* I’m fine, don’t dote over me. I’m not about to die of anything any time soon. My cloak, however… *mutters in annoyance* Stupid guy ripped it big time…
Desiree: You could have died… You were quite close to dying with that fever and everything. *sighing at him, she decides to ignore his words and look over his ear again* It’s probably nearly completely healed by now… *she then looks at his clohtes* Yea, but it looks like you’re doing a good job at patching them up.
Kalysto: Thanks. *sighs in irritation* My ear still hurts, leave it bound up for a while longer. I think the idiot pulled on it. I don’t want you to touch it, but I have a feeling that no matter what I say, it’s not really going to matter, is it?
Desiree: *mutters* You have a tendency to say a lot of bloated words that are more for show than for meaning. *she shakes her head* But don’t worry, it’s bandaged and stuff. I was just looking.. It probably can be released from that bandage soon. *she then glances at his hair* Your styling that you used to have is completely ruined.
Kalysto: I dont’ care, it’s going to get cut nicely once the bandages come off. I’ll just be happy to brush it properly again. *snorts* Or take a proper bath, without the bandages getting in the way. *scratches the side of his head* The bandage isn’t ready to come off though. It still hurts.
Desiree: I believe you, Kalysto. I’m not about to take it off prematurely, that’s for certain. *she shakes her head then glances up and frowns* Umm… you have a really big demon… He.. Umm… Last I saw, he went out of the base. Should we be concerned?
Kalysto: I felt Bael break off and seperate from my soul earlier… he must have told you how to. And you’re the only one who could have done it, too. *looks up at her, seeming frustrated* He had no right. He’s my demon, damn it. I tell him what to do, not the other way around. *sighs and shakes his head* Where did he go?
Desiree: *grumbles* I just wanted to make you tea, and I had never done it before then… He told me to summon him so he could show me how to do it. *she shakes her head then shrugs* I don’t have a damn clue where he went. He just stormed off out of the base after showing me how to make you your tea.
Kalysto: That just means I’ll have to get him back. No problem. *shrugs* He’s not that hard to track down. He’s a freaking 12ft tall demon, how hard could it be? He’s not going to do much harm, either. He’s not that kind of demon. He’s more interested in gaining power than torturing anything below him.
Desiree: I’m not too concerned with him causing any problems. If he were the type to be that problematic, you probably would have lost your identity to him, wouldn’t you have? *she shrugs* I wouldn’t really know about that sort of stuff though… *she then frowns in thought* Umm… he did bring up something though. He said that you were inferior to your mother…
