Zulmire: You be kiddin’ me. You don’t know how to go back? *taps a foot on the floor* But.. you got us here, mon. *glances back at Kalysto’s room* He probably knows how t’ get us back. He has ‘dem damn things written down all over ‘de world. I don’t want to wake him, but… *moves back into Kalysto’s room and begins to shake him* Wake up. We gotta get out’ta here, mon.
Kalysto: *despite the fact he is being shaken, he is very non-responsive and remains sleeping*
Desiree: Well… you see… Yea, I don’t know. My mother’s the master of space-time distortion, not I… And well… she’s kinda… out of her mind. So, yea. Not even she can help you at the moment. *she sighs and frowns as she watches Zulmire* I think you should leave him be for now. He nearly died earlier on.
Zulmire: Yeh, yeh, I don’t really want to be wakin’ him up. I can see ‘dat he probably died along the way somewhere. He has a large stab wound and a stomach puncture, right ‘dere. *points to Kalysto’s torso* If not for ‘dat, he’d probably not be hibernatin’ right now.
Rhyderi: Let him die, I say. *folds his arms* It’s better for everybody that way. Even he wants to go to the seventh circle of hell and join his demons in eternal damnation.
Desiree: *glares at Rhyderi* My, aren’t you nice and cheery. Hrmp. *shaking her head, she moves over to Kalysto’s side then gently reaches in to move a strand of hair away from his face* He didn’t die… Not recently. *she shakes her head* But my father could have killed him. *she looks over at Zulmire and sighs* I guess we need to find you guys a room as well..
Zulmire: Coulda have, probably didn’t. Elves aren’t weaklin’ but ‘dat one ain’t no warrior either. I wouldn’t count on him wakin’ up in the next day. Or the day after… *scratches his chin* Why we need room? Kalysto here can pop us anywhere…
Desiree: Well… if you want to sleep on something that’s not the ground, you’d need a room, right? *she shrugs* If you don’t want rooms, I guess that’s your decision. *she then walks out of Kalysto’s room. However, she takes care to strafe around of the paladin because she doesn’t want to encounter his axe again. Soon enough, she moves to laze on her bed*
Zulmire: *watches Desiree leave the room, not quite able to work her out. He eyes Kalysto off for a few moments before following her, raising himself up to his full height of 7 feet once in the doorway* I’m not gettin’ you. What are you gainin’ from keepin’ my son here?
Desiree: Huh? *she blinks with confusion and stares over Zulmire* Uh… Sorry to break it to you.. but he don’t look a thing like you. *she shakes her head* My guess is that the mother lied. *shrugging, she relaxes on her bed* And I’m not keeping him here.
Zulmire: Are y’ tryin’ to be funny with me, girly? *shakes his head, snorting* I would say I adopted him when he be little, but he was thrust upon me and ended up being stuck ‘dere. So… *shrugs* I look after him until he got big enough to tell me to stick it.
Desiree: Ah… *she frowns in thought* Yea, he has mentioned that his parents had died. *she shrugs* Still, I’m not keeping him here. I don’t have any chains on his feet or anything. He’s staying of his own free will. *she yawns*
Zulmire: So what are you gainin’ from it, keepin’ him here? Or fine, lemme say ‘dat again, perhaps.. *shakes his head* Why are you allowin’ a elf, your mortal enemy, to has free stay in your own dwellins? Dat does not make sense if yeh ask me. Somet’in’s a miss here.
Desiree: My mortal what? *she sighs and shakes her head* I think he’s explained this to me before… But.. no. *she shakes her head once more to emphasize her point before sitting up more properly* I don’t think you get it. This is Gaea. A different planet. I don’t have a damn clue what things are like on your planet, but I’m no mortal enemy of any elves. Hell, elves don’t even exist on this planet. Neither do… whatever you are. I repeat, this planet is Gaea.
Zulmire: No elves…? Huh. ‘Dat be interestin’. I knew the moment we set foot on the ground here ‘dat this weren’t no Azeroth no more, but no elves… you’re better off without ’em. Most of ’em are stuffy an’ conceited. ‘Cept for Kalysto when he was little. *makes a motion with his hand around his hip area, indicating height* When he was ‘did big, he was actually quite cute. Heh. And clingy. An’ really insecure.
Desiree: *blinks at the information that Zulmire is giving her. She then reaches back to scratch the rear of her head* Umm… If you think that I’m a mortal enemy.. Why are you letting me know all this? *she shrugs* You’re strange. But yea, there’s no elves on Gaia. Not a single one. Oh.. and before you call me it again: I’m not human.
Zulmire: I be tellin’ you this because I don’t really care. *smirks* Plus I smart. *taps the side of his head* You’re too little to attack somebody like meh. *shrugs his shoulders* But if you don’t care to hear it, ‘den I’m not goin’ to talk no more. *casually walks out of the room again and moves back into Kalysto’s room to poke over him*
Desiree: *blinks then frowns at the troll* Just because I’m little, that doesn’t mean that I can’t attack you if I choose. I am the daughter of the greatest General that has ever lived on this planet. *she shakes her head before leaning back to relax on her bed once more. However, after a bit of time, she slips off her bed and moves over toward Kalysto’s room. Upon entering, she glances over at Zulmire before sighin* So… Kalysto really is insecure, right?
Zulmire: *when Desiree enters the room, Zulmire is busy inspecting the elf’s stomach area, seeming intruiged by it* Huh? *looks up at her, then raises his hunched-over back, making himself look taller* Not so sure about now… but back ‘den, I don’t know. *shrugs and returns his attention to the elf* I don’t think he had very much certainty ‘dere for a while. Once I picked him up, ‘an he got used to me, he wouldn’t let go of me. Probably for fear of losin’ ‘de one reliable thing he had.
Desiree: *tilts her head as she notices what Zulmire was doing when she initially enters the room. She then glances at Kalysto’s stomach* It’s probably time to change the bandages.. It’s been a few hours. *she then allows herself a small grin as Zulmire speaks* Ah… He certainly puts on a large act now of days..
Zulmire: *makes a loud irritated sigh and lowers his head* Yeh. Yeh… *shuffles away from Desiree, crouching in the corner, mostly as a means of getting out of the way. He does, however, observe what she is doing, mostly out of pure curiosity, although he says nothing about it* I think he’s jus’ tryin’ to prove somethin’, mon. Nobody wanted him to take th’ path that he did, mostly because anybody who ever became, eh… one o’ ‘dem things… ‘dey went corrupt. He’s still pissed off about it. Always tries to prove that yeh, he can take it. Is damn stupid if you ask me.
Desiree: *stands back for a moment as Zulmire backs off. Once he’s distanced himself from Kalysto, she slowly moves in to inspect the elf’s bandages. After a moment, she sighs* Yea, they need changing… Hmmm.. Probably easiest this way. *so, she moves to pick up Kalysto, who is still larger than her. However, she only shows a small amount of effort as she picks him up* You can follow if you want. *shrugging, she begins carrying Kalysto down to the medical bay* ~Hey, Zach. How much medical knowledge have you gained yet?~
Zach: *”Enough. Centra can usually consult me on what I don’t know. Why? I don’t really want to move right now.”* *is lying on his bed, curled up around the young red dragon next to him, one hand on his back, running his fingers along the dragon’s back ridges*
Desiree: ~Well, earlier on today, Father attacked my friend and stabbed him right in the stomach. I want to make certain that he’s healing alright.~ *she finally reaches the medical room. So, she brings Kalysto to a metal table before gently setting him down. Once he’s set down, she moves to the side to gather up some bandages*
Zach: *groans slightly* *”That isn’t something simple, you know…”* *lightly nudges Xelong in the side* Sorry, friend. I have to go upstairs. But you can keep my spot warm while I’m gone. *slides off the bed and completely covers Xelong in the blankets, leaving the edge of his snout uncovered so he can still breathe* *”There’s tons of things that could have gone wrong there.”* *moves up the stairs, stopping in the stairway* *”Where are you going?”*
Zulmire: *watches Desiree with immense curiosity as she carries Kalysto out of the room. Once she has left, he follows behind her, heading into the medical room* ‘Dis place is actually pretty fancy if I do say so myself. Who it belong to?
Desiree: This place belongs to my mother. *she shrugs* Well.. Yea, it belongs to her. *she continues to look about in the cabinets for replacement bandages* ~Huh? I went into the medical bay room. You know, where are the medical supplies are.~
Kalysto: *irritably flicks an ear in his discomfort at being on the new table surface and furrows his brow as he begins to stir*
Zulmire: Interestin’… should I be worried, or payin’ her some respect for bein’ in her territory? ‘Dis place vaguely smells like the lair of a dragon, but it doesn’t seem like one has been here for a really long time. *watches Kalysto’s ear move* ‘Dis is about to get ugly in about th’ next five minutes.
Zach: *”Oh, right.”* *soon appears in the doorway and stops as he stares at the blue-skinned creature nearby* Oh shit…
