Cloud: Fine. *glares at Sephiroth* You can still get out. Your kids can stay here, but I don’t want you in my house. I don’t care what anybody says, or whatever you threaten me with. Get out.
Sephiroth: *makes a grumbling sound as if to object, then turns away from Cloud, heading out of the kitchen, walking out the front door shortly therafter*
Kalysto: Kinda crowded in here, huh. *steps over Zach and heads for the back corner*
Jenna: *Frowns in thought then shakes her head* But… This isn’t your house. I remember that much. Your house is actually next door. *She then smirks* Maybe we should go to your house, hm? *she then frowns at Seph* ~Don’t give him what he wants!~
Desiree: Mmm-hmm.. *She remains rather silent and meek as she moves along with Kalysto> Once at the corner, she leans against the wall before sitting down* I guess it could be worse…
Sephiroth: *”In leaving first, I am giving him what he wants and also indicating that I do not wish for a fight. Do my motives make sense to you?”* *frowns* *”If my children stay out of the cold, that’s a partial win. I can take care of myself.”*
Kalysto: Oh yeah, how? You trashed your house. You trashed everything you ever owned. How does it get worse?
Jenna: ~The idiot is being selfish and a jerk. Don’t give him any bit of a win at all, Seph. Anyway, our younger children are worked up. Do you honestly think you’re doing them any good by leaving them alone with these idiots? We can’t do that.~ *glares at Cloud then casts a silencing spell on him* Annoying idiot.
Desiree: No one’s dead… Does that count? *sighing, she pats a spot next to her* Sit down, if you want.
Sephiroth: *”If you were listening, he said me. Me, not you. You can stay with them and I can find somewhere else to stay, it doesn’t bother me in the slightest.”* *leans against the side of the house outside* *”I’ve slept in this before. It’s warmer here with the clouds overhead than it is in the Northern Crater after nightfall. I’ll manage.”*
Kalysto: Yeah, OK. *sits down beside her* It’s too open here. *frowns*
Jenna: ~Did you ever stop and think about the fact that I don’t want to spend the night without you? Did you ever think that I can’t stand the cold like you either? Please, just get back in here… This is foolishness.~
Desiree: Yea.. a bit. *shrugs then leans against his side. She then looks up at him before flicking at the rim of the hat* You don’t need to wear that any more.
Kalysto: *takes the hat off, then rubs his ears where they were pressed up against the hat* Phh, and I liked it. Maybe I’ll just keep it around, yes? *sets his other clothes off to one side* What’s this town like? With your house trashed, I really should go looking for a new one.
Sephiroth: *”You’re not going to be in the cold – I am. And it’s not foolishness because I don’t intend to sleep in the snow.”* *eyes off the house next door, then wanders over to it, calmly opening the door*
Jenna: ~Hrmph, I’m still not staying in this house without you, Seph. And you’re being completely and utterly stubborn for all the wrong reasons.~
Desiree: *softly chuckles at him then reaches up to massage his right ear* If you really want to keep a beaten-up old hat like that, you can. I’m not about to stop you. *she chuckles at him. She then frowns and shakes her head* You know about as much about this town as I do.. I don’t really know anything about anyplace than where I grew up..
Sephiroth: *”It seems you still don’t understand. Please just sit tight. I am working on a solution as we speak. It requires only your patience and trust. Answer me this – have I failed you yet? What exactly are you most concerned about?”*
Kalysto: That is a shame. I might explore this place in the morning, or at least, after the snow storm has passed.
Jenna: *loudly clanks the claws of her gloves together yet again at Seph’s words. She then releases a sigh and shakes her head* ~Alright, Seph. I’ll trust you.~ *she then sighs and looks down at Iris* Are you ready to go to sleep yet, girl?
Desiree: Hmm… I guess. *She then glances toward her right shoulder before frowning in thought* ~Father… Can I get your help..?~
Iris: *looks up at her mother, then shakes her head. She resumes cuddling her mother’s arm, then lightly pokes it, whimpering lightly as she telepathically communicates that she’s hungry and wants food*
Sephiroth: *”You’d better. Because if you notice where I am, I am out of the cold and I have found more room.”* *turns the light on in the house, then walks over to the fireplace hearth, poking wood into it before extending his hand, sparking flames onto it* *”What do you need my help for?”*
Jenna: ~If you can find a place for us to stay without Aeris and her friends, then I am more than glad to take it.~ *She then smirks* ~That doesn’t mean that I’m about to unsilence Cloud any time soon though.~ *She then frowns down at Iris before looking around for Aeris* Cetra? Do you have food fitting for an infant?
Desiree: *shuffles a bit in a nervous manner, but remains leaning against Kalysto. She also is still massaging his ear* ~Umm… Well, I have a problem that I need to get rid of. But I can’t get it to vanish..~
Aeris: I think we have something somewhere. If not, I can always peel a fruit and mash it up for her. Would she like that? We have a banana I think. Tyler liked them when he was smaller.
Sephiroth: *”And if I mentioned that I think I already found that? It would solve more than one problem, and Cloud would be rid of us also.”* *sighs* *”What problem, Desiree? Please explain in detail so I can help you more effectively.”*
Kalysto: *tilts his head towards her hand* *”You know, in my culture the ears are one of the erroneous zones. So this could be considered foreplay by some.”*
Jenna: *tilts her head in thought* This one hasn’t been alive all that long.. I honestly haven’t had the chance to test and see what pastes she’d eat.. Then again, Seph would have bought that stuff anyway. *She shrugs* ~Yes, that sounds very good indeed.~
Desiree: *looks up at Kalysto then smirks at him before quickly leaning in to give him a kiss* Who said it wasn’t meant that way? *She then snuggles up against him once more* ~Umm.. Well, it’d be easier just to show you and stuff..~
Sephiroth: *”Why don’t you leave the house and come in where I am? I am next door, warming this place up. Cloud lives next door and by the looks of things, he has not been here in a while.”* *glances at the fireplace as smoke begins to fill the room, then grunts and sends a psychic pulse up the chimney to clean the flue. This promptly sends a shower of black ash over the house, which rains onto the snow all around it*
Aeris: Oh, she’s still milk-feeding? I haven’t got any formula. *looks quite worried* Don’t know what to do there…
Kalysto: *”I don’t suggest it with all your brothers and sisters around.”*
Jenna: I should think that she’s still a milk feeder… She’s only a few short months old. Then again, she is developing quite faster than a human.. Let us try that banana idea.
Desiree: *chuckles at him* Some how, I get the feeling that you’re saying that more for my sake than for yours. Something tells me that having public sex is not below you. *grins at him then sighs and stands up* I’m going to go to another nearby house. You can accompany me if you want.. *she then heads off to where here father told her he was. However, she yelps in displeasure as she gets coated with black soot from the sky*
Aeris: *nods her head, then turns to the counter, plucking up a banana from the fruit dish before unpeeling it, mashing it up with a fork* She might not eat it. Let’s hope that she does. *hands the bowl and the fork to Jenna* Try it.
Kalysto: Hey, shut up… don’t talk too loud. *frowns at Desiree’s siblings* Nah. I am going to stay here. *leans his back to the wall, comfortable where he is* Especially if you’re coming back.
Sephiroth: *”I think this place is appropriate. And if we all don’t fit, we can at least place some of the children here, as opposed to cramming them all in that one house.”*
Desiree: *loudly whines in annoyance as she looks at the soot that is covering her body. She then shakes herself off* ~I might not be coming back to that house, Kalysto..~ *she finally enters the house that Seph’s in. She then takes off the coat that she’s been wearing before pointing at the wing* Father.. How do I get rid of this?
Jenna: *picks up the fork and stares at it for a moment. She then looks at Aeris* Isn’t this a bit dangerous to use with an infant? Isn’t there some round thing… What was it’s name again.. Sp- Sp- Something that starts with Sp! ~Well then, come and start bringing the children over to that house. Iris is hungry, so I’ll be a minute.~
Sephiroth: *raises an eyebrow at the wing, shaking his head* How did that even appear in the first place? *moves down the room and walks over to her, reaching out to touch the wing* Just will it away. It’s difficult at first, but…. *closes his eyes, concentrating for a moment before making his own solitary black wing appear* You made it appear and you can will it to go away.
Aeris: *picks up a spoon and hands it to Jenna* Try this.
Desiree: *frowns and lowers her head* I don’t really remember what I did to make it appear… I was still out of it when it happened. *she then looks up at him* But.. I’ve been trying to will it away. It just keeps on twitching but not going back to wherever it came from. *Frowns* Does mother’s wings work the same way?
Jenna: *looks over at the spoon. She then nods before quickly reaching in to take it* Yes, this. *She then scoops up a small bit of the banana before holding it up against Iris’s lips* Come on.. eat.
Iris: *tastes the food, initially sucking on the spoon, spitting it out a moment later because the texture is completely foreign to her*
Sephiroth: I am not sure if your mother’s work the same way. I should ask. *sighs and contacts Jenna* *”Desiree wants to know how your wings operate. She… has one. And can’t seem to disintergrate it. I told her to will it away, which is how mine works. But does yours work like that? I do not know…”*
Jenna: *groans in frustration* Come on girl… Just eat it.. *she tries to spoon the dribble back into Iris’s mouth* Come on… *she then looks up as Seph contacts her and tilts her head* ~My wings… I barely put much thought into them at all. It’s like moving a muscle for me.~ *She shrugs* ~Maybe the girl isn’t trying to send it away to the right place? My wings usually reside in the astral plane when I don’t have them materialized.~
Desiree: *sighs, not happy that she hasn’t really found an easy answer yet. She then looks back at her wing and tries to make it vanish again. Soon enough, the wing starts to twitch as she concentrates on it*
Iris: *tries to push the spoon away, whimpering in protest now. She also lowers her head, not wanting the spoon to come near her again*
Sephiroth: *”I am not sure. I shall ask and inform you of her reply. With mine, I don’t know where my singular wing goes. I just will it away, and it’s gone. “* *sighs at Desiree* Where are you sending it to exactly? Jenna suggests the Astral Plane.
Jenna: *sighs with disappointment. She then sets the spoon down* Ok, I understand. Too soon for you.. *she then shakes her head* ~Seph, we have a problem. Iris is hungry, and I have no access to formula.~
Desiree: Huh? *blinks up as she stares up at Sephiroth* Don’t our wings like.. retract into our body or something like that? I thought it worked like that..
Sephiroth: No. Where would my wing go if I did that? *flattens his against his back, then sits on the floor in front of her* It doesn’t look very attractive, does it? *glances back at the wing wrist, then reaches behind himself to poke at it* You can still see it. *sighs* *”Well…. damn. I don’t know.”*
