Desiree: Haven’t I already told you? My mind, it’s always tuned into here. From the moment I was born, I was able to hear stuff from here. It’s like a second home to me. *she shrugs* I don’t know how else to explain that. *she then blinks and looks up at the demon* Umm..?
Kalysto: So when you die, you wanna come here over anywhere else? Better start killing some people for that to happen, lady. *doesn’t seem too worried as he is overshadowed by the giant blue creature* Minion. Another one of mine. I come here, they gravitate towards me and congregate nearby. This is Helgore. Say hello, Helgore.
Helgore: *makes another annoyed sound* Why have you come….
Desiree: Well.. That guy sounds… Charming. *shaking her head, she sighs* I never really thought of what would happen after I die. It would be nice if I could be like Mother and Father. They’ll never die. They are bound together for all time and eternity… But I doubt that would happen for me.
Kalysto: *stares at her, then shakes his head* You know that’s entirely possible, right? Don’t allow me to entertain the thought, it’s dangerous alchemy that ought not to be trifled with… *frowns* I had an artifact that is used for the base of the Elixir of Life, but… *stops* No. No, it’s not a good idea. Even I know where to draw the line.
Desiree: My father knows how to form bonds. He made a deal with the chaos overlords or something in order to get it. I know he knows how to do it. But he never wanted to share it with me. Nor did he ever want to break his bond with mother.. *She then looks at Kalysto* What way do you know? *glances behind him* And is mister blue planning on staying there all day?
Kalysto: Yeah, he might. *looks up at Helgore* Go away, huh? Go back to wandering around. Go tend to your babies or something. *sighs* What way do I know? An alchemist, a good one, has access to a fabled stone called the Philosopher’s Stone. It’s needed for high level transmutations. And well.. you can do more with it than just that. You can make an Elixir of Life out of it… which prolongs life and stops aging for a time.
Desiree: For a time… I suppose that doesn’t really sound like that effective of an immortality at all. *she shrugs then begins to wander off. However, she pauses then looks back at Kalysto* I like to explore when I do this sort of stuff. *she waves toward her astral form* If you don’t want to come with me, that’s all right.
Kalysto: *shrugs and moves to walk beside her, acting like he is walking along altough there is nothing beneath him* Where do you want to go? *takes another step forwards, before seeming to slip, falling off down into the abyss entirely*
Desiree: *shrugs* I was just going to wander around and check out what I would find thi- *she loudly yelps as Kalysto vanishes from her side. She then begins to look around in a panic* This had better not be a joke…
Kalysto: *suddenly rises up from the “abyss” he fell into, his coloured wings flared out either side of him as he ascends back up to her* One must rise, one must fall. *softly chuckles in amusement* Did I scare you?
Desiree: *Reaches out to shove him, trying to push him back into that “abyss” now* That wasn’t funny! *snorting, she chuckles then moves to continue on with her wandering*
Kalysto: Yeah? But it made me feel amused. *flies after her, flapping his wings although the motion is entirely unecesary* Where are you going? What do you think will happen if you keep going in this direction?
Desiree: I don’t know, something? *She looks up at him and chuckles* I thought those wings were Bael’s and not yours though. *shrugging, she stops as she senses’s Jenna’s dreams and the vibes from them nearby*
Kalysto: They are. But he’s in that little bauble on my person back in the physical realm. And despite the fact he’s an asshole, he’s still my servant. So… he’s still lending himself to me. Maybe time in there will mellow him out and he’ll be able to go free without drama. Who knows.
Desiree: *nods* I hope so. I don’t mind your demon that much, but I don’t want you to suffer either. *she shrugs then inches closer to where Jenna’s dreams can be found. She then frowns as she ponders going in them and checking them out or not*
Kalysto: *stops* Isn’t that kind of… intrusive? You could breach my mind’s wall by doing this and… well, delving into my past, dreams, beliefs and everything. Are you sure you really want to do something like that?
Desiree: I’m not breaching your mind, now am I? Anyway, how do you know that I haven’t already done that? You were inside my head for a time, remember. *Shaking her head, she shrugs. She then grins to herself before finally moving forward with her ideas of checking out Jenna’s dreams. So, she phases into Jenna’s subconcious dreamworld*
Kalysto: Heh, I know. But it was something beyond your average stalk and peek. And… *sighs as he watches Desiree phase away, then shakes his head* *”Just don’t mess around with things that ought not to be messed with.”*
Desiree: ~Oh, like you really care about things like that. You could always escort me if you don’t think that I’m going to behave myself.~ *looks about and frowns* Shouldn’t be all dark.. right?
Kalysto: Escort you? Isn’t that like, what you’re opposed to? Don’t baby me, I know what I’m doing, and so on? *sighs* Don’t fuck around in people’s minds. You can mess with demons all you want but when it comes to the wall of the mind, its beyond where you should go. Seriously.
Desiree: *Groans at Kalysto* ~I meant like accompany. I guess I picked the wrong word there.~ *she then rolls her eyes* ~I’m not messing with her mind. I’m just investigating and stuff. I’m not about to damage anything.~
Kalysto: *sighs* You wanna check it out? Very well then, go on in and see what you want to find… though I dont know why you would. Such things never perked my curiousity. *motions ahead for her to lead the waY*
Desiree: *glances back at Kalysto’s astral form. She then rolls her eyes* Yea, I can tell from all your comments that dreams don’t peak your interest. Don’t worry much about it. *she continues to look about then gasps as the scenery in the dreamworld shifts into that of a burning town*
Kalysto: They don’t mean anything. They’re formed by the mind in sleep. They’re nothing but idle nonsense. *slows down as he sees the burning town, raising an eyebrow* And sometimes they’re rehashes of memory fragments. Sometimes its just impossible to tell.
