Desiree: *tilts her head* I thought mother says that she likes your wing.. It’s not that bad in my opinion either. *she gives her father a small grin. She then sends him an impression of what she’s been doing to try to get rid of the wing. Basically, she keeps on telling it to go back to where it belongs, but seeing how she thought it hid inside her body in some way shape or form, she’s been trying to pull it into her body*
Jenna: ~That’s not much help..~ *groaning, she looks up at Aeris* Where can I get formula?
Aeris: You can buy it from the General Store, but it’s really late and the store would be closed right now…
Iris: *clings to her mother’s arm and begins to cry as she telepathically indicates that she is hungry again. This time she sends Jenna a vague picture of the milk bottles she is normally fed with, and begins to loudly grizzle and gripe*
Sephiroth: *telepathically transmits to Desiree the process he goes through when he calls his wing away*
Desiree: *considers over what Sephiroth is showing her. She then frowns and lowers her head* I was doing it all wrong, wasn’t I? *sighing, she moves to sit down next to her father. She then glances back at his wing* Why do you hate it so much, father?
Jenna: *groans in frustration as Iris begins to whine at her again. She then snarls and moves over to Iris* Please, hold her for a short bit. I am going to get food for her. One way or another.
Sephiroth: Why? *shrugs his shoulders lightly* It is a departure from normalcy. It is difficult trying to appear like everybody else and issue them commands when you are not like them at all. *scowls* Without that similarity, people do not respect you. They hate things that are different from them.
Aeris: *takes Iris from Jenna, blinking* Alright…
Desiree: *blinks* But… I thought you didn’t care about being the same as the humans anymore, Father. *She frowns, confused* And, like I said, doesn’t mother say that she likes her wing? In fact, don’t you have an attraction to her wings? Why do you like hers, but not like your own? *she then glances back and tries to send her wing away. After a few twitches, she finally gets it to vanish*
Jenna: *snarls, mostly irritated that she has no immediate way of dealing with her problem. So, she storms out of the kitchen, passing by where Kalysto is sitting and not taking too much care in not walking over any of his body parts that may be in the way. Soon enough, she exits the house all together and makes her way to the general store*
Sephiroth: I just… don’t. *shrugs again, grunting* How do you know about the attraction to wings? I’ve never exactly made that publically known information. *watches her make her wing vanish and nods in approval* Good.
Kalysto: *voluntarily moves out of the way as Jenna goes past* *”Hey Des, looks like your mom is pissed about something.”*
Desiree: I used to have my room right next to yours, Father. The two of you were never quiet during foreplay and stuff… *she shakes her head at him* It was really obvious what you were turned on by and stuff. It’d be a more pertinent question of us to ask how we don’t know what your turn-ons are. *She then tilts her head to the side* ~Got me what she’s pissed off about.~
Jenna: *storms into the general store by kicking the door open. She then begins searching for formula*
Sephiroth: *makes a slight flustered sound and hisses, turning his head away* I see. *growls slightly* Let’s not discuss it any longer. It’s not meant to be any of your business, to be honest. *pauses* The truth is, I don’t like my wing, and I have told you why. There is nothing more to it.
Kalysto: *”I’d ask, but she was pretty mad. And she left.”*
Desiree: It just sounds strange that you don’t like something that is on your body, but like the very exact type of thing on someone else.. *She glances around* Umm… Father, are we staying here or in that other house? Should I ask my siblings to start coming over here? ~Don’t worry about it then, Kalysto. Mother gets pissed off at everything.~
Sephiroth: I do not care what you do. I came here because I was asked to leave. If others wish to join me in order to make more space, then they are welcome to. They are also welcome to stay in the other house – Cloud himself has said he does not mind them being there. So the choice is ultimately up to them.
Jenna: *has gotten annoyed that the store clerk keeps on telling her that his store is closed and that she should leave. Eventually, she slashes the man in the face, before yanking the formula and bottle that she needs from the shelf. So, when she returns to Tifa’s house, her right hand would still be dripping with blood. However, she just heads over to Aeris and tries to gather up her child* I believe the man in that store needs medical attention.
Desiree: *nods at her father’s words then contacts Kalysto* ~I’m going to stay in this house with father. Do you want to come?~
Aeris: *hands the infant back over to Jenna, blinking* Why, what happened? *moves out of the kitchen and heads outside to go attend to the man in question*
Iris: *makes a rather desperate upset hungry cry as she sees her mother with the empty bottle and tries to snatch it from her hands*
Kalysto: *”Sure. It kinda smells like ass in this place anyway. Though I doubt that place would smell much better. There’s a whole lingering smell of rot in the air, and I can’t quite work out why. It’s like something died in this town and decayed. The smell still lingers around.”*
Jenna: *Shakes her head at Iris* No, it’s not ready yet… *She frowns* ~Seph, you said that you weren’t going to stay in the cold. Where are you?~
Desiree: ~Decay… yea.. I’m not certain why that is. I don’t even know what town we’re currently at..~ *She shrugs then contacts Zach* ~Father says that he’s staying in a house nearby. Do you want to see if the others want to come here or stay there?~
Sephiroth: *”I’m in the house next door. There’s much more room here. You should come over. This place hasn’t been used in a while, though. It has a musty stench about it. Not unbearable, but it needs airing out.”*
Zach: *”I’m staying. Xelong’s comfortable here I think.”*
Kalysto: *”Maybe you should ask.”* *wanders out of the house, soon appearing at the doorway before letting himself in*
Jenna: *nods* ~I shall be there shortly.~ *she then looks about the area before boldly speaking out* Seph and I are going to reside in another house since there is an idiot in this one. If any of you do not wish to stay with him either- *glares at Cloud* – then follow me. *with that, she heads out of the house and moves to where Seph is*
Desiree: *grins as she spots Kalysto. She then looks up at Sephiroth* Umm.. Father, what town is this? Why does it smell like something’s decaying?
Sephiroth: You smell the mako? There’s a reactor in the North. It’s long since fallen into disrepair, but it was never closed. There is an open stagnant pool of mako at the bottom of it. That is most likely where the stench comes from.
Kalysto: *is immediately drawn to the fire, warming his hands up on it*
Iris: *makes another loud upset sound, and then breaks into a full-blown wailing cry, upset at the hunger pangs in her tummy*
Jenna: *groans in frustration* Stop that girl… You’ll be getting food shortly. *She then enters Cloud’s house before trying to toss the formula at Seph* You make that. You know how.
Desiree: Umm… No, it smells like something died around here though. *she glances over at Kalysto* At least… that’s what Kalysto told me. That it smells strange.
Sephiroth: *catches the bottle and the can, grunting at Jenna* Of course. Phhh… *moves to his feet, then heads over to the sink. He glances around the stove for a kettle or something to heat water up with, then mutters incoherently to himself* We shall have to continue this discussion at another time, Desiree. *walks out of the house with the supplies, intending to make the formula next door instead*
Kalysto: Hey, why are you laying the blame on me? *frowns at her* It stinks, but I’m not whining about it or anything.
Desiree: *looks up as Sephiroth moves away. She then slowly nods and sighs. However, she soon cringes as she hears Iris’s wails. Soon enough, she stands up and moves over to Kalysto’s side* I’m not.. I just don’t smell it. I can’t really give description when I don’t smell what you smell… *she glances at Jenna* She might smell it though..
Jenna: *doesn’t seem to notices Seph’s grumbling. Instead, she moves over to a wall and concentrates on Iris. Soon enough, she begins to softly sing to the girl, using an old celtic folk-song that she picked up once. She hopes the singing will calm the girl for just a few minutes*
Iris: *hugs onto Jenna and continues her loud upset wailing, telepathically communicating to the entire area that she is quite hungry along with the loud raucous noise she makes. She reaches up to poke at Jenna’s nearest breast, whimpering at her shortly after*
Kalysto: I can give you a great description – it smells like a dirty fart. How’s that sound?
Sephiroth: *remains in the house next door and just calmly heats up water on the stove despite the fact he can sense Iris’s cries*
Jenna: *shakes her head at Iris* ~I can’t give you food that way. Your father is making food. Just sit tight. You’ll be fed soon enough..~ *sighs as she comes to the end of one song and begins singing another song in an attempt to help the girl settle down. This time, she picks a song that came from a elven community that she once visited*
Desiree: *rolls her eyes at Kalysto* You’re such a pain. *She then glances back at her mother and Iris before snorting in contempt*
Kalysto: *raises his ears slightly, recognising a pattern in the tune Jenna is humming. He begins to hum along to it the best he can, but it is clear that their tunes only match in sporadic parts and are not identical* *”What’s wrong with them?”*
Iris: *settles down some, but is still upset and hungry*
Desiree: *blinks then glances between Jenna and Kalysto before deeply frowning* ~Should I leave the two of you alone?~ *crosses her arms*
Jenna: *doesn’t seem to notice what Kalysto is doing at all. Instead, she just continues to sing to her daughter* ~Seph, please hurry…~
Kalysto: *”If you want, but Elves don’t choose their partners by singing. You’re thinking of birds and their mating calls. That’s not me, sorry. I pick partners by sight and intelligence. Not by the sound they make.”*
Sephiroth: *”I am going as fast as I can. Do you want me to rush this and make it too hot, or too weak or strong in solution?”*
Desiree: *grumbles then sighs, nodding her head* ~Alright… Though I don’t see why you’re singing along with her. Doesn’t sound like that interesting of a song.. She’s just trying to shut up my little sister too.~
Jenna: *sighs as she comes to the end of the song and pats the top of Iris’s head* ~Understood, Seph. I’m just having my ears assaulted here.~
