Jenna: ~We do need a new home though, Seph… With your reputation, do you honestly think you’ll have any other means of gaining funds for such?~ *moves to stand next to Seph then reaches over to gently rub his back* ~It won’t hurt to just see what you can arrange, for the overall benefit of our family.~
Desiree: *Groans in frustration* Well, go ahead and insult yourself in your head all day long if that is what turns you on… *she shakes her head*
Kalysto: You know? Now that Bael’s thundering hateful voice is gone from my head, I actually kind of miss it. *looks around the shop, then smirks at her as he picks up a blue dress shirt to put on* Come on, insult me. *purrs* It turns me on.
Sephiroth: *sighs* *”Where are we going to get a new home anyway? We can’t live among the humans. We can’t dig out a new tunnel in your island either. So what of it? What are we going to do?”* *grumbles to himself* *”I can go to see what they want, but I cannot promise you anything. I do not want them to decide that I am going to be a game piece for them to use.”*
Desiree: *looks him over then mutters* I don’t really dislike you enough to think of a lot of insults.. *she then tilts her head as he puts on the shirt* Isn’t that.. kinda… pansy-like? Definitely not very masculine.
Jenna: ~I’d rather not live underground.. I really didn’t like it for all these years. I only did it.. because you were there.~ *she shakes her head* ~If you have an income, you’ll have the ability to buy a home.~
Kalysto: What’s wrong with a nice shirt? *buttons it up, glancing down at it* It’s ironed. It’s clean. It’s better than the ripped clothes I had before, at least until I repair them. *glances back at her, eyes narrowed and suspicious* What would YOU pick out for me?
Sephiroth: *sighs, clearly not liking Jenna’s idea* *”I don’t want to join them after everything that happened. After everything they did to me. Do you understand?”*
Desiree: Well.. it doesn’t have frills, so I guess it isn’t that bad. *She then shrugs* My father usually wears black and leather stuff.. So, yea.. I’m not used to guys wearing anything else. *wanders off to look at another rack. She then picks up a frilly pink shirt and frowns at it* At least you’re not wearing this..
Jenna: ~Do you honestly have any better options in mind? Like I said, monopolize the fact that they want you and make demands upon demands. Make it so that they can’t control you, or if they do, they pay a heavy price.~
Kalysto: *wanders over to the shirt and pokes at it, humming in thought for a few moments* It looks like something an Elf would wear formally. Though the pink is too dark. If you’re going to wear pink and still look like you haven’t become gay, you have to choose a light, almost white pink. That is dissapointing. *tilts his head to one side* I think that is also a girl’s blouse.
Sephiroth: Fine, fine… *waves a hand at her* I’ll consider it. *picks up the phone, glaring at it* How do you get the last number that called this?
Cancer: *rolls her eyes* Old people and technology… sheesh. *in a matter of seconds she is able to retrieve the number that Reno called with, and dials it into the phone before pressing the button to make it ring* Here. *hands it back to Sephiroth*
Desiree: *Gives him a dead-panned look* Ooooh.. *tosses the blouse to the side* Just find some damn clothing all ready. I think you’re just doing this now to be annoying. *she then reaches over to playfully flick at his bangs*
Jenna: You expect me to know how to use CL- *She then stares at Cancer before frowning* How the hell did you know how to do that when you probably never held a phone before in your life…?
Kalysto: *grins at her* Maybe. Maybe I’m not. Depends.
Cancer: It’s common sense. Duh. *pokes her tongue out at Jenna before picking up the remote again to continue channel-surfing* You know, if you keep doing this you can watch multiple things at the same time.
Sephiroth: *scowls as he waits for somebody to pick up at the other end*
Desiree: *moves closer to Kalysto before pressing her nose against his in order to get into his personal space* You’re such a royal pain. Do you know that? Stuck-up bastard.
Jenna: *rolls her eyes at Cancer’s statement* Televisions from earth can actually allow you to do that, girl. It’s called split-screen or picture-in-picture functionality.
Reno: *picks up after a few rings* Yo?
Sephiroth: *growls* I called you back, and all you can say to me is yo? Your stupid suggestion. I’ll come over to where you are and hear more about it before I consider saying yes or no. Are we in agreement there, at least?
Cancer: This one doesn’t do that. I checked.
Kalysto: *doesnt react when Desiree gets in his personal zone, other than flattening his eyebrows at her* If you knew my bloodline, you wouldn’t call me Royal. Not at all.
Desiree: It’s a figure of speech, meaning not literal. *she then reaches up to grip onto the rim of his hat before yanking it over his eyes* Now, stop wasting our time and find whatever it is that you want to wear until your regular dress is fixed.
Reno: *the phone clatters again as Sephiroth talks. He then quickly picks it up* Shit man! Stop doing that! *he shakes his head* Ah, you’ll come and talk to the boss? Great! I’ll tell Elen- Oh, that not be very good.. She really hates you. You know, with what you did to Tseng and all.. *he then lowers the phone. He then can be heard yelling in the background* Yo, Rude, is the chopper ready? Yea, I can check it myself, but I’m not going to, yo. Just tell me if it’s ready. Uh-huh. *he then brings the phone back to his ear* We’ll pick you up tomorrow at noon. You can bring your hot babe if you want.
Sephiroth: *is silent through Reno’s entire babble, seeming unamused. Upon hearing Reno’s ‘hot babe’ comment, he narrows his eyes and turns his attention to Jenna, making a sharp ‘harumph!’ sound* No, that won’t be necessary. Tomorrow is fine. *snaps the phone shut again before Reno can say any more* I am departing at Noon tomorrow.
Kalysto: Ack! *pulls the hat up again* It’s a fucking robe, Desiree. Are you not familiar? There’s a couple of reasons people wear robes. I can give you a more creative reason, but I don’t know how open minded you are.
Jenna: *nods at Sephiroth’s words* Just try not to kill them all when you get there. *She smirks at him*
Desiree: *rolls her eyes at Kalysto’s rant and quickly moves in to kiss him in order to rile him up even more* Yea, yea, yea. Call it a robe all you want. It has a skirt. And let me guess, it’s so you can go commando underneath? Seeing as how you wear pants under it, I don’t think that’s your reason.
Kalysto: No, it’s not my specific reason… *shakes his head* Forget it. You’re already pretty ignorant for persisting with calling it a dress despite how many times I’ve told you otherwise. *picks out some clothes, sorting through the racks* That person you put to sleep is probably going to wake soon so I suggest we get moving.
Sephiroth: Tch… depends on the situation.
Desiree: *stares at Kalysto, incredulous. She then shakes her head and crosses her arms* What do you think I’ve been trying to tell you to do all this time? *groans* You’re still a pain. And yes, I know. It’s a robe. Just to let you know, no one wears them on this planet.
Kalysto: Just so you know, it’s stil a robe and not a dress. And let’s confuse you even more, there are such things as dress-robes. *picks out a fairly decent selection of pastel and dark coloured clothes, mostly meant for casual wear and semi-formal wear* OK, go to your siblings now. You wasted enough time.
Sephiroth: *sighs as he moves to his feet, looking around* We might as well settle ourselves here until we can get started tomorrow, hm? *moves away to find Aeris to inform her that they will be staying overnight*
Jenna: *looks around then shakes her head* ~Seph… I don’t think this house has enough beds.. We’re all going to be sleeping on the floor. I hope you realize that.~ *sighing, she moves to follow her mate*
Desiree: *frowns, not at all liking the prospect of having to face her siblings. Still, she slowly nods in agreement* All right.. *With that, she moves out of the store then begins heading toward the house where she can sense her kin. However, she stops as she reaches the door and looks back to make certain that Kalysto is still coming with her*
Sephiroth: *”I know that. What choice do we have?”* *sighs and lightly taps Aeris on the shoulder, raising an eyebrow as he notices that both Aeris, Tifa and Cloud have decided to congregate in the kitchen* We’re staying here overnight at the very least. I do not mind sleeping on the floor.
Aeris: *slowly nods her head* That’s fine. I’ll get some extra blankets out.
Cloud: *stares at Aeris and immediately cracks* What!? No, Aeris. We talked about this. No it’s not alright! They can’t stay here! *looks at Sephiroth and Jenna then shakes his head* Sorry, but you can’t stay here. There’s no room as it is, where do you think you’re going to sleep? *folds his arms* Sorry, but I’m firm on it, no matter how much you want to talk about it. They’re not staying here.
Tifa: Are you volunteering to sleep in the snow, Cloud?
Jenna: *gives Tifa a morbidly humored grin as she asks Cloud whether he wants to sleep in the snow. However, she soon returns to a serious expression and looks over at Cloud* We don’t exactly have much of a choice. Seph was legally proclaimed dead, if you recall. I remember quite clearly that his monetary accounts were liquefied and thus beyond his access. I never had a single bit of anything on this planet. So, our family has absolutely no monetary means on this planet. *She snorts* At least for now, we need your kindness.
Desiree: *glances at the door again then steps back and gently grips onto Kalysto’s arm* You go in first…
Cloud: Yeah like the kindness you showed me and Aeris when we wanted to go home for years? Like the kindness Sephiroth showed me in the Northern Crater? Like the kindness he showed the planet? Like the kindness he showed Tifa’s father, the people of this town? Sure. I’ll show him kindness. *points to the door* Get out.
Sephiroth: *growls softly, but doesn’t do anything more for now*
Aeris: That’s alright, Sephy. *sighs at Cloud’s attitude and wanders away to find blankets and needed bedding supplies* I think we have an air-mattress somewhere…
Kalysto: Hey, don’t badger me. You’re the one who said you’d do it. *pushes the door open, holding it for her, waiting for her to go through* What’s so bad about them anyway? Just looks like a bunch of kids to me.
Jenna: *glares at Cloud* I could have kicked you out of the base all together. Did you ever think about that, hm? At no point did I need to keep you actually in my home then. So, yes, that was kindness. *she snorts* As for those other events, they are in the past. Let them be and move on, boy.
Desiree: *lowers her head as she enters the house. She releases a faint whimper and tries to stay behind Kalysto* ~Not all of them are that young… And I bet most are rather not happy about having lost their home and everything that we had..~
Dimitri: *looks up as the door opens. He then blinks as he firsts sees Kalysto then Desiree* Sister?
Cloud: Could have, didn’t. You ignored our requests to go home. It wasn’t a kindness, you were keeping us around for convenience. *folds his arms and glares* You’re not staying.
Zach: *looks up at Desiree, then lowers his attention again, resuming trying to keep Xelong on his chest so he is at least comfortable* Took you long enough to get here.
Kalysto: *”You don’t know that for certain.”*
Jenna: Sure sounded to me like your women say otherwise, boy. Trust me, Seph and I don’t want to stay with you just as much as you don’t want us here. However, our options are rather limited. *She then cruelly smirks* Of course, if you’d rather I go to the Inn, slay the innkeeper, then all the guests, before claiming all the rooms for my family, then I’ll happily do that. I’ll also happily drape all the corpses in front of your house and tell their family members that it was your idea.
Desiree: *looks about the house then mutters* Small… *she then turns her attention to Zach before nodding* Yea… I guess you could say that.
Zach: Well this is what we’re stuck with right now. *glances at Cancer, who is still flipping channels* At least somebody’s happy with the setup. Thank Desiree for the TV, Cancer.
Cancer: *flatly* Fuck off, Zach.
Sephiroth: Indeed. As Jenna said, we don’t have much choice. We’ve no money, no other place to go. It’s here or nowhere.
Cloud: I’d personally prefer nowhere – then you wouldn’t be a problem to anybody. What about the Shinra? They just called, I’m sure they’d love to take you back into their fold. *narrows his eyes* You’d like that, wouldn’t you.
Jenna: *begins to loudly clank the claws of her right hand glove together. She then glares at Cloud* We do not know what sort of option that is at the moment. However, it is not one for tonight. *snarls at Cloud and moves closer to him* Look, our children are blameless, despite what Seph and I may have done to you. So, be silent and at least permit for my children not to suffer.
Desiree: *Releases a relieved sigh as she notices that no one is about to attack her. She then nudges Kalysto and tries to lead him to a back corner where they can be somewhat more alone than in the middle of the entire group*
