Kalysto: I’m at a complete loss as to what to do now, honestly. I tried encouraging you, I tried badgering you. I tried everything I can think of and you’re still being pathetic on the floor there. What do you want me to do? I can’t make you stop being like that, but I really wish you would.
Sephiroth: *growls* I really don’t know…
Desiree: *lowers her head and ponders for a few moments. She then sighs and looks up at him* Ok.. for you.. Let’s.. Just lead the way, Kalysto. *stands up and moves over to him. However, she doesn’t look particularly much happier than before*
Jenna: *groans and covers her face with her right palm* You don’t know… *shakes her head* Damn it all. *she flaps her wings and dives in after Jenova. She then tries to fling a fireball at her face*
Jenova: *makes a loud screeching noise as Jenna’s fireball sears the flesh on her face, causing her to stop and swing around to face the other. She then lunges at Jenna, trying to choke her with her tentacles* *”Do not interfere in my ascension!”*
Sephiroth: *loudly snarls and charges in on Jenova, attempting to blast her back with a strong psychic attack*
Kalysto: Okay, follow me. And stay close, while you’re down and ‘woe-is-me’ like that, you’re not going to get far without something trying to steal your soul. *opens a rift, which opens to the front doorstep of the house in Nibelheim where Sephy and Jenna’s kids are staying at* You’re probably better among family.
Desiree: *bites her lip and quickly shakes her head* No.. I don’t want to face them yet. *takes a step away from the rift* Not yet… You might not care about what I did, but they’re certain to blame me. Father hated me for months the last time I really screwed up. And that was nothing compared to this.
Jenna: *gasps for air as Jenova begins to choke her. She then snarls in irritation and tries to cast a teleportation spell that would make her vanish in a blast of fire. She then reappears over the Icicle Inn area* ~We’re only causing flesh wounds..~
Jenova: *screeches in anger as her tentacle is seared off altogether by the flaming teleportation, and continues her journey south, not wanting to waste any more time*
Sephiroth: *”What are we supposed to do to her now…? If what you did wouldn’t work….”* *attempts to catch up to Jenna, flying south to the Icicle Inn* *”The Cetra froze her before. Maybe if we did something like that..”*
Kalysto: What makes you think they’re going to do that to you?
Desiree: They did that before.. Why not now? *She shakes her head then looks over him* Umm… Where are your clothes?
Jenna: ~Yea… that would work. So perfectly.. Except for the fact that Fire is my element!~ *hisses in irritation* ~You’re not exactly attuned to ice either.~ *grits her teeth and then tries to make a tower of flames slam straight through the center of Jenova*
Kalysto: You’re only just wondering where they are now? I was having a bath when you vanished. I didn’t have any time to gather up my crap, I just left to find you. All my stuff is back at your house.
Sephiroth: *”Do you know any ice magic at all? It would be a help, it doesn’t have to be your mastered element.”*
Jenova: *screeches as the flames strike her. She stops in her retreat again, swinging around to face Jenna. She then begins to pick up every individual rock, and non-pinned down or rooted object underneath her, hurling them in Jenna’s direction, sending a torrent of rock, sand, plant materials and other debris at her*
Jenna: ~It would really not be a good idea for me to use my ice spells. They just don’t hold much of a punch to them at all.~ *hisses as Jenova begins to fling things at her. So, she quickly swoops around and tries to dodge the projectiles. However, she soon gets hit by a large rock. Thus, she is thrown through the window of the nearby inn and straight into a guest’s bedroom*
Desiree: *blushes slightly and lowers her head* Ummm.. yea… I wasn’t really paying attention to your clothes.. *she then frowns* Maybe there’s an air pocket or something. We should try to get them for you.. Unless you like walking around in a towel.
Jenova: *with Jenna distracted and no longer trying to injure her, she continues her journey south, this time moving faster than before*
Sephiroth: *hisses, immediately moving to Jenna’s aid. He peers in the window, then moves through it, crouching down beside Jenna to see if she is alright* That was quite cheap if I do say so myself…
Kalysto: *flicks his ears back* No, I don’t like being naked. But yea, please do get my clothes back. That one is a much wanted idea.
Jenna: *groans and stands up, shaking herself off. That is, until a shoe is thrown at her. She then hisses in irritation at the human who had just “attacked” her* ~Yes, very cheap..~ *spreads open her wings, clearly tensed up and prepared to attack the human woman, whether or not she has an infant in the room as well*
Desiree: *nods at Kalysto then looks around before biting her lip* Umm… I think you’re better at navigating here.
Sephiroth: *hisses and grabs Jenna, trying to lead her out through the door* Come on, it’s not worth it. *grunts sharply* You don’t need to stay here and start a fight. We need to get back out there and finish what we started with Jenova.
Kalysto: Wait, where do you want me to navigate to?
Desiree: Didn’t you just say that you wanted to go get your clothes? *frowns with confusion* Then, shouldn’t we head over to the equivalent of that spot here. I mean, I thought that’s how this place worked..
Jenna: *releases an annoyed snort as Sephiroth grips onto her. She then hisses under her breath* Since when did you care if a lowsy hum- *growls as a boot is thrown at her. She then yanks her arm out of Seph’s grip before lunging in to bite out the woman’s jugular*
Kalysto: What do you want me to do, teleport us to a big pile of rubble? How does that even work?
Sephiroth: *growls and tries to yank Jenna away, even after she bites out the woman’s jugular vein* Would you stop that!? You’re side-stepping from the actual issue here…
Jenna: *rips apart the woman’s flesh as she’s pulled away by Sephiroth. She then snorts in irritation before glancing back at him* It was only a moment. *pauses and narrows her eyes to look at the corner of the room as the infant girl begins to cry* Hmm..
Desiree: There may be a pocket or somewhere that wasn’t fully filled with rocks.. We may get lucky.. maybe the bathing room didn’t collapse? *sighs* Shouldn’t we try?
Sephiroth: *loudly growls at Jenna, backing up* I really don’t care how long it was – that was completely unecessary! *snarls and tries to yank her out of the room* We need to get moving. We don’t have time for one of your killing sprees.
Kalysto: *looks rather hopeless and shakes his head* I’d rather shove you back with your siblings then enable your idea of avoiding them.
Desiree: *Groans at Kalysto* Compromise then? We try to get your clothes… Succeed or not… we go to where my siblings are afterward? *frowns* Just don’t leave me alone with them..
Jenna: *yelps as she’s yanked. She then glares at Sephiroth* At the moment, I’m not thinking of killing! *snarls* We’re not doing any damaging attacks on Jenova, are we? *she points at the infant* We can always just make the alien completely useless and miserable.
Kalysto: Fine. I see no problem in something like that. *opens a portal to reality, back in the rough area he left Halcyon. Because of the rubble that flies through, he quickly closes it and opens another outside of the base* There you go. Don’t say I never do anything for you.
Sephiroth: *growls at her* That’s not going to work. Don’t be ridiculous.
Jenna: Oh? What makes you think I can’t achieve such a feat? *Snorts* I did seal you away outside of your body once before. *She shakes her head* Do you have a better idea?
Desiree: *cringes for a moment as the rubble flies through the opening. She then nods at him and steps out of the next rift* Thank you, Kalysto. *she then frowns as she looks at what remains of the base* Maybe your imp is small enough to try to retrieve your clothing..?
Sephiroth: *growls in a threatening manner at her* Don’t even remind me about that. *snarls and tries to pull her towards the door* Do you have a better idea? That one sounds incredibly far-fetched.
Kalysto: *sets himself on the ground outside of the rift, sighing* My imp? I wouldn’t trust that stupid little shitbag to do anything of importance.
Jenna: *narrows her eyes at him* No, I don’t have a better idea. Let me at least try it. If it doesn’t work, it’ll just result in a dead human. Not like that matters at all. *she snorts and shakes her head* Allow me to at least attempt this.
Desiree: *releases a deep sigh then frowns* Well.. it was an idea.. *she then sits on the ground and closes her eyes. Soon enough, she begins to scan the base and its items. As she commences the scan, she sends what she feels to Kalysto*
Sephiroth: *growls at her, then turns his head away, clearly not approving of her suggestion* Fine, do it. Don’t listen to me. *moves out of the room, leaving Jenna behind in it this time*
Kalysto: *frowns back at Desiree, seeming dissapointed* I’m not wading through five billion tonnes of rock just to get in there… *sighs* Great, now what? My stupid Alchemical Laboratory was in there too. And with this place gone, where’s everybody going to go?
Jenna: *groans in annoyance at Sephiroth. She then shakes her head and quickly moves to scoop up the infant* Might as well make you of some use, human. *with that, she moves toward the window and leaps back into the air* ~Just keep up the attacks on Jenova, Seph.~
Desiree: *frowns* I don’t know. I don’t know anything about what’s going to happen at all. *sighing, she looks up at him* Can you please just pay attention to what I’m trying to show you.. If you find something in these sweeps that you want me to try to teleport the stuff to our location.
Sephiroth: *”I think your plan is ridiculous, as long as you know that much, I will leave it alone from there on.”* *moves out of the inn and flies south in persuit of Jenova once more* *”Do you really think it’s going to work? What makes you think you can contain her in something as weak as a small human?”*
Kalysto: It’s in there somewhere. But it’s under tonnes of rock, as I said when it was first brought up. *points into the rubble, then tries to telepathically communicate how far in it is* See? You’d need some kind of magic earth mover to get anywhere near it.
Jenna: ~Jenova’s essense and core being is not stronger than any other in existence. So, yes, I do think I can achieve it.~ *snarls* ~Your comments are only making me want to prove you very, very, wrong.~ *flies through the air, carrying the infant. Eventually, she passes by Jenova’s location and moves to find a suitable clearing to land in*
Desiree: *scowls and targets what she thinks is Kalysto’s robe. She then concentrates on shifting its position so that it is teleported from its current spot and reappears over Kalysto’s head. Of course, if she’s wrong about it being his robe, he might be in for a large headache*
Sephiroth: *”So go ahead and prove me wrong. I don’t think you can contain her in a simple vessel such as a human. The idea is ridiculous in theory and thought. I don’t even know why you are even wasting your time on it.”* *continues to fly south in persuit of the alien*
Jenova: *once in the clearing of the Eastern Continent, she settles herself down on the ground and begins to tunnel into the soil*
Kalysto: *is immediately hit on the head by a shower of volcanic rocks from the spring area. He hisses as he stumbles off to one side, disorientated, before moving out of the way entirely* Idiot!
