Desiree: *blinks and stares at the rocks. She then deeply frowns* I swore that was your robe… *groaning in frustration, she returns to scanning the base. She then begins to teleport anything that she feels could possibly be Kalysto’s clothing out from the rubble. However, this time, she doesn’t make any of it appear over his head*
Jenna: *snarls in frustration at Seph’s words. She then sets the infant down on the ground before glaring down at it* Oh, stop crying. Not like your life would have been worth anything anyway. *snorting, she begins to scrawl runes in a circle around the infant*
Sephiroth: *soon comes to a halt and hovers over Jenova, awaiting her to make a move* *”Still persisting with that child theory? Let me know how it turns out.”* *attempts to strike Jenova with a torrent of Firaga materia magic*
Kalysto: Well it clearly wasn’t, was it!? *grumbles as he rubs his head* Damn it… *stares at her and quickly stumbles further away, not wanting to get smacked by a second rock-volley* What are you going to drag up now? Why are you even bothering? Chances are, if it’s buried under miles of rock, it’s damaged beyond repair.
Jenna: *hisses and glares up at Sephiroth* ~Thank you for the support! See if I give you any at all tonight!~ *snorts and moves out of the runic circle once she’s done constructing it. She then closes her eyes and begins muttering the words to a spell that should transfer Jenova’s being into the child*
Desiree: There’s still a chance… *shakes her head and at least clearly recognizes Kalysto’s wand from the feeling of Bael within it. So, she teleports everything within a five foot radius of the wand out into the open*
Kalysto: *cringes as a large chunk of his posessions are dumped onto the ground. He picks up what remains of his robe and looks literally devastated as he sees the damage done to it*
Sephiroth: *growls* *”That’s such a low threat, Jen. Why would you suggest something like that?”* *casts another torrent of fire down at the alien, smirking when it stops moving*
Jenova: *unfortunately for Sephiroth, his spellcasting is doing absolutely nothing. The alien has stopped moving because her soul is no longer inside of the flesh, and with nothing to command it, it just stays there, half buried*
Desiree: *opens up her eyes and looks at all the items that she’s teleported in the last few minutes. She then sighs before looking at Kalysto* Well… I found your clothes… *she gets up and moves closer to the elf before inspecting the robe* Umm… That can be fixed, right?
Jenna: ~Because, you’re being an absolute pain.~ *continues working on casting her own spell. She then smirks as she feels something move into the infant’s body. Smirking to herself, she looks up at Sephiroth* Go ahead and burn that shell to bits.
Sephiroth: *descends out of the sky, then begins to torch the corpse, seeming curious at Jenna’s words* Oh, it actually DID work? Hmm… *frowns* Well. Good. For you. I mean…. *pauses* I didn’t mean that in a harsh way. It’s just… *pauses again, scowling* Yes, it worked.
Kalysto: *buries his face in his robe and immediately begins to sob*
Jenna: *moves in to grasp onto the infant and smirk down at her. Chuckling to herself, she teleports to where Seph is before holding the young girl out toward him* Well, you tell me if it worked, hm? Where do you sense Jenova? *Unfortunately, if the spell did indeed work, the infant’s original soul has been displaced, but cannot really leave the vacinity of the body either. So, that soul is in limbo*
Desiree: *frowns at Kalysto’s reaction. So, she quickly bends down to sort through the items that she brought up. Eventually, she grasps onto his pants and cloak and holds them out to him* It’s not… that.. bad.. Just get dressed and you’ll at least be decent enough to go into a store and buy new ones. *tries to give him a reassuring smile. She then blinks in confusion* Jenova’s gone completely silent…
Kalysto: *snatches away his other clothes and turns away from her, carrying them away so he can sit down and inspect them properly* Why did this have to happen to me…
Sephiroth: *narrows his eyes at Jenna as she holds the infant out* I don’t want to touch it. That is a sick idea. *growls and shakes his head* I never approved of it and yet you ignored me anyway. *tries to push it away* Now you’re stuck with it. *turns his attention back to Jenova* Well… at least it’s not moving any more.
Desiree: *releases a soft sigh as Kalysto snatches his clothing away from her. She then shakes her head before moving over to sit against the trunk of a rather large tree. However, she soon turns her attention behind herself and begins glaring at her wing. The wing would twitch and spasm about as she tries to get rid of it, but each attempt turns out to be a failure*
Jenna: *rolls her eyes* You didn’t think that it would work. You also had no better idea. *glances down at the girl* Anyway, who says that I’m stuck with it. I’m certain it’ll torment Jenova to be stuck in an orphanage.
Sephiroth: *grunts in frustration* You can’t leave it in an orphanage. Imagine what kind of knowledge it has. No, you’ve got to take it with you now. *scowls* Or leave it with somebody who knows about us. A stupid human would abuse it’s knowledge.
Kalysto: All ruined…
Jenna: I hardly think that a creature that can’t even talk yet is going to provide much insight to the humans. *snorts as she sets the girl on the ground* I wonder if she’s even figured out what’s happened. *with that, she turns her attention to Jenova’s corpse and begins trying to burn it down*
Desiree: *spares a glance at Kalysto. Frowning for a moment, she slowly gets up then moves to sit down next to him* It’s not that bad… Just a whole lot of rips and stuff. *she leans forward and tries to look into his face* Just get dressed, ok? We’ll find some place where you can get new clothes.
Kalysto: *looks up at Desiree, almost seeming insulted* I don’t want new clothes. Don’t you get it? These were mine. They were pretty damned special too. *shakes his head, flicking the pants away from him* Ruined…
Sephiroth: She’s not going to stay that way forever. Children grow, Jenna. And that one is going to have retained knowledge. It’d be stupid not to assume that. *scowls*
Desiree: *looks at the ground, frowning. She then shakes her head before trying to reach to the back of Kalysto’s head in an attempt to give him a gentle massage as she’s seen her parents do before* I understand.. But there’s nothing more we can do to them at this time…
Jenna: *rolls her eyes* If you honestly think that anyone would believe her, and take knowledge from her, then go ahead. *she shoves the infant toward Seph* Kill her.
Sephiroth: *narrows his eyes, not wanting to take the child from her* No.
Kalysto: *moves to his feet, picking up his clothes to fold into a neat pile* I’ll fix them, but it will take time. *quietly sighs* Well, I did my part. Are you ready to do yours?
Desiree: You’re still naked… *glances over him* Can’t we just.. you know, get you new clothes for the time in which you’re fixing those clothes? *sheepishly grins at him* It’s not fair for you to be running exposed like that all the time.. We can probably go to the same town where my siblings are and find someone who sells clothes there.
Jenna: *growls in frustration* Oh, for fuck’s sake. *she then pulls out a knife from her belt before kneeling in toward Jenova* I’ll do it then!
Sephiroth: *growls at Jenna and quickly moves in to snatch the child away from her upon hearing her threat* No! *grunts sharply* No, you will not. *begins to carry the child away from her* I’m going to leave it in the care of somebody I can trust.
Kalysto: I want my real clothes back first. I am going to fix them myself. I don’t care how long it takes.
Desiree: *Glares at him* I’m not having you run around me naked for who knows how long. *shakes her head* No, we need to get you something to wear! *she then pokes his back* Just get something on now so that we can get you some temporary clothes.
Jenna: *stands up and stares at Seph. She then shrugs her shoulders* Very well. She was your “mother”. Hence, your choice on how to deal with her. *with that, she puts away the knife before moving to follow her mate*
Sephiroth: *glances back at Jenna, then growls* You really wanted to kill it? You killed it’s mother because of a minor inconvenience, and then thrust Jenova’s soul onto it, all while ignoring it’s basic necessities and wishes. By that definition, you’re essentially a tyrant via it’s perception now.
Kalysto: *looks back at her, then turns his head away again* I think I’d rather just go to that town you were talking about. Shall we go now? It’s cold.
Jenna: *tilts her head, not seeming to understand at all* It’s just a human.. *she then shrugs* Do as you wish with it, Seph. I’m not going to tell you that you’re making the wrong choice. I might not understand it, but I’m not going to stop you.
Desiree: I keep on saying I’ll go once you’re wearing more than a towel.. Then we can go to that town and get you something to wear while you repair those clothes there. *shakes her head* I know the humans won’t let you into their shop with just a towel around your waste… And I’m not about to be your servant girl and shop for you without you around.
Sephiroth: *growls* At least you’re not making fun of me. *sets the child in one arm properly, then reaches out to touch Jenna’s shoulder, teleporting them to the door of Aeris’s house in Nibelheim* We’re finished where we were. We might as well check up on these.
Kalysto: *gives her a rather sulky pouty expression and sits back down on the ground* No… I’m not going then. *lowers the tips of his ears to accentuate his saddness, which stick out from the sides of his head and flop slightly, probably looking highly unusual to somebody who is not used to seeing it*
Desiree: *narrows her eyes at Kalysto. However, she snorts and just sits next to him* Well, then, I’m not going either. *After a few moments, she turns her attention back to her wing and continues trying to make it go away*
Jenna: *Shakes her head* Nothing to make fun of from what I see… A whole lot of “what the hell is he thinking” in my mind, but I’m certain it’s a cultural difference. *she then stumbles slightly as Seph teleports them before quickly shifting back to her human form* Yea… Could have used some warning there.
Kalysto: So we’re going to sit here and do two thirds of nothing, and one third of shit-all? Fine. *folds his arms, turning his head off to one side, speaking more firmly* Fine.
Sephiroth: No warning needed. *smirks suddenly* If I warn you, then you can anticipate my next move. A good SOLDIER needs to be unpredictable. *pushes open the door without even bothering to knock* We’re back. And I found this. *grunts at Aeris and Tifa* You’re caring for it now.
Jenna: ~If you haven’t noticed, I’m no SOLDIER. Hrmph, I highly doubt that ShinRa would have wanted me for their little glorified body-guards.~ *she shakes her head and enters the house as well. She then groans at Seph’s proclamation*
Desiree: You’re the one refusing to put on even some pants. *her wing twitches once more then she hisses* Damn it..
Kalysto: I’m not putting on these pants! Have you even seen them? *picks them up and unfolds them before throwing them at her* Ripped! Ruined! YOU take a good look at them and see if you would even bother wearing them.
Sephiroth: *”What? She needs some story before she’ll take it.”*
Aeris: *sighs* This isn’t a daycare, Sephy…
Desiree: *yelps as the pants are thrown at her. She then groans in frustration* Fine, we’ll walk into a store with you wearing just a towel. *she then stands up before quickly throwing all of Kalysto’s stuff into a sub-space pocket like her father had taught her. She then moves into the rubble* But first.. *spots a rather large fedora then yanks it off the ground. Soon enough, she returns to Kalysto’s location before slamming the hat down over his head* No way a human would not notice your ears.
Jenna: *faintly smiles for a moment, since she is a bit humored* ~You are very lucky that I love you.~
