Desiree: “A vessel with lots of magical strengths…?” *frowns in thought, first considering the cloning tanks. She the ponders over Tiamat’s dragon whelps that are being born. She also ponders over Kalysto’s own daughter that is still upstairs* “There may be a few ways of doing that.. Or..” *she remembers looking at Berserk once or twice* “I honestly don’t know what that thing has… But it’s something that no one else alive does.” *she then frowns at Rhyderi and sighs* Look, it was an accident. I was just trying to keep his spirit nearby, and it went into my body instead. That’s it.
Kalysto: *”No, don’t consider those options. I need it’s strengths, it fuels me. without a demon, a warlock is nothing. Your options suggest getting rid of it. what I want to do is to retame it, and claim my body back. I just want things to go back to the way they were before.”*
Desiree: “Well, why the hell did you bring up a vessel?! How the hell was I supposed to know that was not what you wanted to negotiate with?” *She snorts* “Well, that leaves you with what? “My brother is going to kick you out of that body if you don’t let me back in”?”
Kalysto: *”It was very relevant. You see, he has what he wants now. He wanted my mother’s body, and then he wanted mine. He has mine. He has what he wants. Thus, it’s going to take a lot to convince him to just… give it up.”* *shakes his head* *”While he has what he wants, he has nothing to negotiate away from us.”*
Desiree: “Other than the fact that your brother can excise him and my mother can probably eat or disintegrate him.” *groans* “You are going to make this a lot of fun… Do you know how to get rid of this head ache, by the way?” *shakes her head then focuses on Bael* ~Will you talk to me or not?~
Kalysto: *”You’re still not getting it, are you? I don’t want to disintergrate him. I don’t want him destroyed, deconstructed, whatever. I just want to go back to the way things were. Before this whole shit started. That’s all.”* *grunts* *”Also, it’s called a hangover. Get used to it.”*
Bael: *”Why should I talk to you? You are not worthy of my time.”*
Desiree: “I get it, Kalysto. I meant that’s the only thing we can use according to your list since its things he doesn’t want..” *She shakes her head and rubs her forehead* “Hangover..? Umm… ok.” *frowns, not having a clue what that is. She then focuses on Bael once more* ~Yea, yea, yea. Well, I’m probably the only one here who has something that can be lead to you being let go. Kalysto really wants his body back.~
Bael: *”I want to be free. I want you all to go away and burn. But we don’t get what we want, do we? So tough luck to you and your stupid little wants. Because that stupid elf can want all likes, it’s not going to happen.”*
Kalysto: *”Yeah… and threatening him is going to lead to a whole lot of annoyance to me when we’re actually back together again.”*
Desiree: *lowers her head and frowns* “If you haven’t noticed, I’m not threatening him at all. You’re note exactly being of much help in coming up with things to put on the bargaining table though.” *she shakes her head and sighs* ~What would it take to get you to allow Kalysto to have control over his own body again?~
Bael: *”I would appreciate being untied first! Absolutely nobody here is reasonable. Not reasonable at all. If this is how you conduct yourselves normally, I don’t know how you manage to do it without tearing yourselves apart.”*
Kalysto: *”Did it occur to you that I can’t think of anything to bargain with? You know, I don’t exactly have anything right now. I don’t even have my own body. I’m a spirit stuck in yours – what makes you think I have anything?”*
Desiree: *Groans at Kalysto’s statements* “So… You’re leaving me to do all the hard work for you..?” *she frowns and looks up at Bael* ~If I let you go, what insurances do I have that you won’t just run off?~
Kalysto: *”No, I’m not… But if you’re expecting me to magically have the answer off the top of my head, then you’re sunk in the water before you even begin. I was kind of hoping either of us could bounce ideas off of each other in the least. Would that be agreeable to you?”*
Bael: *”Insurances!? You idiots tied me up against my will! The second I get free I should tear you apart and stray your innards across the terrain. I wouldn’t run off – I would kill you first. “*
Desiree: ~Umm… Is it fair for me to point out that I was not involved in any way with the binding you up and stuff.~ *she shakes her head and sighs* Rhyderi.. cover the door or something. *with that, she reaches forward and begins trying to dispell the binds on Bael* “I’ve been trying to do that, Kalysto. I just ran out of ideas like five minutes ago.”
Bael: *”As far as I am concerned, anybody standing here and allowing this charade to continue is responsible!!”* *growls as Desiree reaches forwards to dispell the bindings* *”They were created by a dragon. They won’t be removed by the likes of somebody like you, young pup.”*
Kalysto: *”Well… shit. I don’t know what to do at this point. He seems kind of mad.”*
Desiree: ~Everyone thinks that I am weak or something.~ *narrows her eyes* ~They don’t have a damn clue what I can do or how powerful I can be!~ *she continues to concentrate on the bindings. By using some of her Jenova abilities to absorb the energy that has created the bonds, she weakens them enough that she actually manages to dispel them*
Bael: *moves to his feet once the bindings are lifted. He rubs his wrists, then makes a rumbling growl and immediately swings a fist in Rhyderi’s direction, smacking a gloved hand into his breastplate. Rhyderi is very unaffected by the move and the demon-elf recoils in pain, clutching at his wrist*
Kalysto: *”Heh.. it’s a good thing I actually AM weak in that regard, I guess.”*
Desiree: *groans and rubs the side of her head once she is done removing Bael’s bonds* “I don’t think doing that and hang overs mix well…” *lowers her head and whimpers slightly. She then shakes her head and looks up at Bael* ~You’re free now.. Can we talk about letting Kalysto have his body back now? I kinda want him out of my head.~
Bael: *”When joined with the demon’s soul, he declared that I could have his body upon death. In exchange I would fuel his abilities and power. As he died, I became the dominant soul. As the agreement has been fullfilled, no. He is dead – let him go. What he gave belongs to me now. Unless… you would like to revoke on that agreement. If he wishes to give me his soul, then I might be willing to come to new terms.”*
Kalysto: *”I seriously don’t like where this is going…”*
Rhyderi: *takes the opportunity to shove Bael back down onto the bed* Smart. Punching reinforced plate with your bare fist. You’re going to have to do better than that, demon.
Desiree: “I don’t like the sounds of it either.. Why the hell am I negotiating in your behalf again?!” *groans and shakes her head* ~He’s not really dead though. I mean, he could just come back and force his way back into his body if he choose, couldn’t he? You’d only make his life miserable but you can’t bar him from reviving.~
Bael: *”Oho, you think that will work? Go on, tell him to try it.”* *rumbles and struggles against Rhyderi, but it doesn’t do him much good* *”Go on – I actually dare you to. See how far you get and see how effective it really is.”*
Kalysto: *”Why? More importantly, why not? You’re doing such a good job of it on your own, why do you even need me to add my input? You’re so silly, Desiree. Really.”*
Desiree: *releases a low growl under her breath, mostly frustrated. She then slowly stands up and walks over to the bed* ~If you were really that strong of a demon, you wouldn’t still be down here with a palidin who could just send you away and a priest a few floors up. In fact, do you have much power at all now that you aren’t even in your own planet’s energies?~
Bael: *”I never drew my power from the physical realm, whelp.”* *raises a hand as if to demonstrate. He focusses the energies of the nether in his hand then lowers it, creating a loud explosion on the ground directly in front of him, which also punctures a 3ft deep hole in the ground, sending the cave’s rock material everywhere* *”That one didn’t even require effort. Imagine what I could do if I tried.”* *growls* *”Don’t toy with me.”*
Desiree: *stares at the small crater that Bael made. She then deeply frowns* ~I hope you know my parent’s are so going to murder you now….~ *Groans and shakes her head* ~Still.. this place doesn’t use your spirit world and stuff. I’m certain or it.. And Kalysto’s body looks like it’s going to fall apart in a week if it isn’t properly revived…~ *has absolutely no idea where she’s going with this, and still is agitated that Kalysto is having her do all of his work* ~Don’t you want a loyal servant again, hm?~
Bael: *moves over to Rhyderi and places a hand on his head* *”Loyal servant? He was never loyal – he would try to supress me at any given opportunity! I do not want another servant – I would rather crush all of your heads for your insolence now!!”* *makes a roaring noise which couldn’t possibly have come from the body of the elf*
Rhyderi: *shoves him down again and stomps on him with a plate sabaton* Why does this demon have to stay alive again…?
Kalysto: *”There isn’t really a lot I can say to him. If he wants my soul, though…”*
