Sephiroth: I kind of want to manipulate his mind to see what else he is capable of… *smirks and turns his attention to the wolf for a few moments, pondering the thought over in his mind. He gently chuckles to himself, then shrugs* Fair enuogh. I can tell from scanning it that it’s not a wolf.
Rhyderi: *watches Seferia fly off as he secures Kalysto on the dragon’s back*
Jenna: *rolls her eyes at Sephiroth* You certainly are an ego-maniac. Openly proclaiming such things in ear-shot of the one that you desire to manipulate. *she shakes her head then looks at Desiree, frowning* I am still not happy that you refused to solve her situation.
Sephiroth: It’s called confidence. *glances back at Zulmire and smirks wryly* Well with everything in order, we should leave. *shrugs his shoulders* If the dragon hadn’t decided to throw me around, I would not have left. I could not care less at that point – I was there to help and they should have been grateful to have me. If I am going to be treated like shit, then I am not going to stay.
Jenna: You keep on mentioning a dragon… last I checked, the elf is not a dragon. It also seems to me that he’d be the last person to ever be ungrateful… *she shrugs then moves toward the doorway* Very well, let’s go.
Sephiroth: Seferia was the dragon. *growls in frustration* She came along to help, and she carried me around like her food. She also spat fire at me and slobbered on me. It was disgusting, and extremely inconsiderate. *follows her out the door*
Jenna: Ah.. Strange that she would have come at all… *she shrugs* I still do not understand why you are letting such minor inconveniences get to you. *she exits the base then spreads her wings, since she has not returned to her normal form since she had carried Desiree downstairs* Are you ready?
Sephiroth: It’s a matter of pride. I already told you the why and the explanation of it. If you can’t understand it from that, then I don’t know what more to tell you. *he nods his head* I am ready. We both know the way so neither will really lead.
Rhyderi: *lands on the grass nearby the entrance to the base a short moment later, then pulls Kalysto’s possessed corpse down off the Bronze Drake’s back. He gently pats her for her work, as if thanking her. Once he has dismounted and begun to walk away, she flies back into the time-space realm she came from*
Jenna: Overabundance of Pride is always the fall of great men and nations. *with that, she leaps into the air. After gaining altitude by flapping her wings, she begins to soar away toward the northern crater* ~Are you certain that you’re going to be able to stand against Jenova’s influence? You haven’t done a good job of it to date.~
Desiree: *Releases a soft groan as she continues to sleep. She then shuffles about on the bed and nuzzles her nose against Seph’s pillow*
Sephiroth: *leaps into the air and levitates up off the ground, quickly flying after her, scowling* *”I’m stronger than her, you know… it frustrates me that she is able to exploit weakness so heavily in order to cripple me. I don’t know how I am going to prevent it. Perhaps a surprise attack before she can get me.”*
Jenna: ~You may be stronger, but she’s more knoledgable.~ *narrows her eyes in thought* ~I suppose that the best course of action would be to scout out the area first and foremost. We won’t do well at presenting a sneak attack if we blindly rush in ourselves..~
Desiree: *groans once more, slightly confused as to why she’s smelling her father. After a moment, she slowly opens her eyes, however she quickly shuts them again* Ugg…
Sephiroth: *”I suppose… I don’t really know what’s up there. She may also be anticipating my attack.”* *sighs and shakes his head, continuing to follow* *”What would you propose? If you don’t think my plan is a good idea…”* *scowls* *”Her lackeys will be there too. If she could not successfully call us, then her loyal followers will be there.”*
Rhyderi: *walks back into the base with Kalysto’s body, calling out* Hello? I’m back!
Jenna: *glides and slowly repositions herself so that at first, she’s simply flying underneath her mate. After a minute or two, she raises her altitude such that her back is pressed up right against his stomach. She keeps her wings spread out as much as possible to help her maintain her balance as she does this* ~Your… plan? You havne’t actually voiced a plan yet, Seph. Other than state that Jenova needs to be killed…~ *Frowns* ~Yes, she probably has called upon some forces to protect her, as I already stated. And for all we know, Cloud is being affected by her as well and charging head- Actually… that could work to our advantage..~
Desiree: *Groans and rubs the side of her head* Damn… *after coughing for a moment, she slowly sits up then tries to open her eyes yet again. After shying from the light a few times, she finally looks around then frowns* “Kalysto… did we sleep walk?”
Sephiroth: *”I already stated my plan if you were paying attention. I suggested to rush in there and ambush her. It’s worked for everything else so far.”* *grunts* *”You really do need to pay better attention. And they say that the male is the one who is guilty of that.”* *lightly pokes her back, before ascending above her, not wanting to disrupt the air flow over her wings* *”The spikehead? Probably a shaking dribbling mass of hopelessness by now. Considering how I could ruin his mind… Jenova would be like pulsing a massive current through a tiny lightbulb.”*
Kalysto: *”What…. hey I don’t damn well know… why did you move?”*
Jenna: ~You at no point mentioned that as a plan. I stated that we should scout rather than rush in there. You at no point listed a single tactic.~ *lifts her head to look up at him then rolls her eyes* ~You’re also very bad at spotting deliberate actions.~ *with that, she suddenly spins around to nab him from mid-air and embrace onto him*
Desiree: “I didn’t move… Damn.. the light is bright..” *Groans and rubs her eyes. She then glances at the stairwell* “Did I just hear your brother..?”
Kalysto: *”I don’t know… I can hardly determine anything in this damp-senses body of yours. Your sight is poor. Your hearing is poor. I don’t know how you can properly function…”*
Sephiroth: *”That was my tactic. You just weren’t listening hard enough.”* *grunts slightly as Jenna literally grabs him from the air, quite upsetting his concentration. This, in turn, breaks his levitation and he inadvertantly falls into her embrace*
Desiree: “Hrmph.. I”d hate to hear what you’d say if you were really in a human’s body. My senses are actually much better than any human’s!” *with that, she pushes herself up and stumbles over to the stairwell. However, Dimitri quickly moves toward the stairs and spreads open his wings in an attempt to block her*
Dimitri: Father say no leave. *he shakes his head*
Jenna: ~Hrmph, either way, not that good of a plan.~ *she grins as he falls into her. She then straightens herself out and continues to fly Northward*
Kalysto: *”Even if you say they are, they’re still shit.”*
Rhyderi: *stops behind Dimitri, raising eyebrows at the raised wings blocking the way. He gently nudges the youngster, frowning* I need to get past you. What’s this about not leaving? If you’re trying to stop somebody from leaving, let me do it, then I can get by and both our requests shall be met.
Kalysto: *”Oh great… not him.”* *stares at his tied-up corpse and scowls* *”That isn’t going to end well… Bael’s going to be pissed and I’m never going to hear the end of it. He’ll be even more condescending and pushy than usual…”*
Sephiroth: That was cheap, you know.
Desiree: *notices as Kalysto focuses on RHyderi and his body. She then glances down at DImitri and nods at him* Ok.. I won’t leave. Just let the man in, ok? *with that, she shuffles back to the bed and sits down. She then releases a deep sigh* “Maybe he’ll be so humored by our situation that he will forget about being bound up?”
Dimitri: *glances back at Rhyderi* Umm… *slowly, he pulls in his wings. He then steps away from the doorway* Ok, come in.. Jus’ be careful. Brothers and sisters no feel good. *he shakes his head*
Jenna: *grins at him* Oh? What was cheap?
Kalysto: *”I can’t hear him right now, your body isn’t attuned properly to the realm of the demon, and Bael is tied to the physical realm anyway. But I can imagine he’s swearing a thousand times over at that Paladin right now. He’s going to be pissed beyond all…”*
Rhyderi: *carries the angry bound ‘corpse’ into the room and sets it down on the bed* Well, I did what you asked. Now… *shrugs* To exorcise the demon from the body. Somehow…
Bael: *rumbles viciously, curling his wings around himself* Never… NEVER!!
Desiree: What? Who said a word about exorcising anything? *she shakes her head and frowns at Rhyderi* Kalysto needs to just go back to his body and regain control… *she sighs and closes her eyes* “Go ahead… I m not certain what to do to help you, but just give me any instructions youc an think of.”
Rhyderi: No. While the demon is there, he can’t do anything. *sighs* Do you even know where his spirit is? If he doesn’t know where his body is, he’s going to have a difficult time returning to it. *glares at his brother’s body* It’s also going to be hard with that thing active as the dominant soul. *glances up at the ceiling* Now if only I could remember how to remove a demon. I know how to stun them. I know how to cause pain to them… but..
Kalysto: *”I need to tell Bael to piss off, basically. But good luck getting him to co-operate…”*
Desiree: *Sighs and stands up* Yea, I know where Kalysto is at the moment… *lowers her head and mutters* Had an accident while trying to just keep him around and pulled him into me instead.. *she shakes her head then moves to kneel down next to Bael* Hmm… “What if we get a bigger, badder demon to scare him? Would he just submit then?”
Kalysto: *”Do you really think something like that would ever work? Don’t be ridiculous. What makes you honestly think that it ever would? A larger being doesn’t scare or intimidate a smaller one. Besides… if you thought that would work, just try picturing what he would do to me afterwards. Hmm”* *scowls* *”No, you negotiate with him. Don’t fuck things up worse than they already are.”*
Rhyderi: *stares for a moment, then shakes his head* How does that even work?
Desiree: “Well.. that’s kinda good.. Because the only ones I can think of that can overpower you demon are not present or hard to catch..” *think of both her mother and Astaroth” “And, size alone doesn’t connote power, I know that much.” *dwells on the fact that Astaroth is usually found in the form of a twisted microraptor form* “But yea… let’s try negotiation.” *she frowns up at Rhyderi* You don’t want to know.. *she then focuses on Bael* ~Hey, can we talk..?~
Kalysto: *”Yeah, right, negotiation. More like bargaining with him… he’s a big giant stupid demon overlord. He wanted my mother’s body and he wants mine for the same purpose. Only, he was attached to my mother. I am seen as a nuisance more than anything. And now that he has actually achieved his goal as per our agreement… he’s not going to be so willing to give me up. Unless you find another vessel with similar abilities and magical strengths. And seriously? Good luck finding that on this dump of a planet, seriously. No offense, but really…””*
Rhyderi: What makes you so sure that I don’t want to know? I asked, didn’t I? *slowly shakes his head* I want to solve this as much as the next person who knows my brother. I would say “appreciate”, but even I do not do that. *glares at the corpse*
