Kalysto: *”Yeah, you just go on thinking that…”*
Sephiroth: *scowls and pokes Seres in the arm* Ignore it – it’s the alien’s doing. She just wants you to go up there so she can use you and abuse your services. Once she’s done with you, you’re useless to her. *snorts* Just stay here. *glances at Jenna before leaping into the air, heading North*
Jenna: *blinks as Sephiroth leaps into the air. She then growls and clenches her fists* ~Seph! What sort of nonsense is gong on in your head now? Don’t you dare think about going up there on your own.~ *hisses and picks up Seres. She then pats the girl’s head before moving back toward the base*
Desiree: *groans at Kalysto* “It’s not like you don’t go overboard and completely make yourself pass out. I just had a small bit of a bottle! It’s not that bad.” *deeply sighs and shakes her head. She then tries to snuggle up against her pillow*
Sephiroth: *”I suppose I could say too late, I already thought about it.”* *scowls* *”If she can affect us from all the way down here, it needs to be ended as quickly as possible.”* *continues to fly north, leaving Jenna behind* *”Keep the children secure.”*
Kalysto: *”Hey, don’t go trying to call me a hypocrite or something now! I gave you advice and instructions and you ignored me. So get fucked.”*
Jenna: *Growls* ~Seph, you big idiot! Did she not try to overpower you all the other times that you’ve gone after her on your own? Don’t you ever learn?~ *snorts and shakes her head* Typical male.. Thinking he can leave the female behind to watch the kids..
Desiree: *thinks of the number of times that she’s had to drag Kalysto’s unconscious body to a bed. She then shakes her head* “I took a single last sip. I already had drank some. And I was and still am trying to block her out..”
Sephiroth: *”Can you think of a better way to attack the problem? If you can, I would very much like to hear it. Anything is better than standing around here watching our children suffer because of something you can easily stop.”*
Kalysto: *”I get what you were trying to do. You’re not even listening to me are you?”*
Jenna: ~Well, you can select someone to watch the children and then I’ll come up there with you to cover your back and then some. Anything but you going up there on your own and them having me come up there later to save your ass as well as kill her!~
Desiree: I am lishening! *whimpers* You don’t like that I took that last bit. I get eet..
Sephiroth: *”We don’t know anybody who can watch them. They normally watch each other, and well, you can imagine how much good that is going to do right now, can’t you?”* *scowls* *”The signal and the call isn’t affecting you. That is why I wanted to leave you there with them. If you can think of something better, then by all means…”*
Kalysto: *”Just do whatever you want, huh? This isn’t going anywhere and what’s done is done.”*
Jenna: ~No one else that can watch them, huh? I can think of at least two candidates… Hrmph, I bet the Cetra is in the same boat we are in with Tyler. You might as well just take her and have her watch the children. However, I could just ask Kerash to watch over them.~
Desiree: *grumbles* I shtill don’t get it… You pick ta bottle… *sighs, completely confused as to why Kalysto is so mad at her. She keeps on thinking that everything he’s said so far has indicated that he’s gotten far worse drunk than what she is at the moment*
Sephiroth: *”Neither of those are options. You don’t like the raptor’s rough handling and I don’t like Aeris because in all honesty, if our children could, they would probably kill her. No, she’s not an option. She will allow them to run amok.”* *scowls*
Kalysto: *just remains frustrated with Desiree thinks of the fact that when he got himself drunk, he never had to deal with it affecting anybody else*
Jenna: ~Then, if you were creative, you’d say both at once.~ *She crosses her arms* ~Kerash’s harshness would be kept in check by Aeris’s kindness and visa versa. Though.. I don’t have that much of a problem with Kerash. What ever gave you that idea?~
Desiree: Then.. Why no shay ssomeshane ta begin wit? You picked out ta bottle.. *Grumbles*
Sephiroth: *”Both at once… why do I have the feeling that’s not going to work? What even makes you think it would work? You may as well try to combine oil and water.”* *scowls* *”I’ve always gotten the impression that you have issues with Kerash.”*
Kalysto: *”Hey you know, I did say something. But you went against it. So you know, whatever.”*
Jenna: ~No, not really. We have our differences, but nothing overly significant, Seph.~ *scowls* ~No matter what you say, I’m not going to just let you get away with running off on your own to battle Jenova!~
Desiree: *Rubs at her temple and shakes her head* “Why does it feel like you just want me to be better than even you can do… Saying that I should just block it off and stuff like it’s easy. You’re in here with me! You know how much I’m trying..”
Sephiroth: *”I’m not… well, not right now.”* *stops over the ocean* *”You don’t want to stay behind with the children, do you? We can’t leave them unattended, or in the care of somebody useless… do you know anybody else? At all?”*
Kalysto: *”You never even asked me how. You think I’m just talking about it like its easy to do… “*
Jenna: ~I can think of a number of people who know you’re alive. But their candidacy would be pure stupidity. I mean, sure, I can add Hojo, Cloud, Clawina, Sefer- Well, actually, the dragon might actually be talked into it, but it’d be a huge risk.. BUt yes, I can think of others, but it would be plain stupidity.~
Desiree: “Jenova isn’t a demon, Kalysto. I hope you understand that. She’s not a netherworld creature at all.. Her genes are a part of me.” *begins thinking of how her father was created as well as anything else that she can think of about Jenova*
Sephiroth: *”How can you even consider those as options? NONE of them are. Don’t be ridiculous. If you are going to consider things like that, why don’t we just tie them up and drown them in the ocean and save those people the effort? Why don’t we just pick them up and carry them to Jenova ourselves?”* *snorts* *”You’re the best candidate I can think of. You can’t leave them with no carer at all. Use the time as a means to spend one-on-one time with them.”*
Kalysto: *”Hey you know what? Fuck you. You wouldn’t listen to me, so why should I even bother listening to you?”*
Jenna: ~I wasn’t naming those as options. I was saying that Kerash and Aeris are the best canidates. Will you stop being so stubborn. I know that if I let you go up there alone, I’ll have to go up there myself anyway to save your sorry ass!~
Desiree: “You are a broken record..” *sighs, giving up. Instead, she just tries to relax and closes her eyes*
Sephiroth: *”This entire time, haven’t I been saying that if you don’t like the idea, suggest something else?”* *growls* *”Well, you did, but they weren’t very good suggestions.”* *sighs* *”We can’t do nothing. We can’t leave them with nobody, or somebody that could harm them. So… what now?”*
Jenna: ~Well, you don’t like the names that I keep on bringing up. So, why don’t you fucking come up with some idea? And don’t you dare say that I should spend some quality time with the children! That’s bullshit.~ *She then snorts* ~What about the strange elves and blue thing?~
Sephiroth: *”I already said it!”* *growls* *”I don’t like the names you brought up because Seferia would kill the children. So would the spikeheaded idiot. Aeris wouldn’t be able to manage them. I don’t know why you don’t want to stay there and look after them – why don’t you think I can do this on my own?”* *pauses* *”Elves… if you forgot so soon, Desiree consumed one of them. And the other is nowhere to be seen.”*
*meanwhile, Jenova has been busy at work on the corpse of the WEAPON. She has pulled several chunks of its flesh off, and has eaten some of the pieces, and attached others to her sides and back. She sits idle for the time being while she waits for her cells to merge and harmonize with the flesh, seeming completely inactive otherwise* *”My children… go forth and guard the area. I shall grow soon, and until then, I am vulnerable. Once I am stronger…. I will feed, and grow. And then the plan shall be further in motion.”*
Jenna: ~Do you really need for me to repeat to you why you shouldn’t go out and do this on your own? You are weak against Jenova, and especially weak against her when you have no one else to assist you. You’ll fall to her, I know, and I’ll have to go after you and save your sorry ass as well as defeat her. I’m not doing that again.~ *She snorts* ~And if the other elf isn’t in the base, just go and find him!~
Kadaj: *nods at Jenova’s words* It will be done, mother. We will keep you safe. *with that, he moves out to watch over the entrance to the northern caves*
Sephiroth: *”Why don’t you want to stay behind and take care of the children?”* *scowls* *”Forget it. I’m not even sure I want to know the answer to that.”* *sighs* *”I will find the other one and drag it back there. But I don’t know if the other one will want to look after our children.”*
Jenna: ~I’ll watch the children until you return. But don’t you dare think about going up against Jenova alone!~ *snorts then heads down the stairs. Finally, she sets Seres down on her bed and pats her head* Just stay here. Everything will be fine..
Sephiroth: *”I suppose you would find no humor in my words if I said ‘too late, I already thought about it’, but too late, I already thought about it.”* *smirks vaguely* *”What makes you think this other elf is going to be happy with looking after our children while we are gone? Why not just ask that other… thing? It wasn’t human, or…. I actually don’t know what it was.”*
Jenna: ~I did suggest him as well. It matters not to me who looks over them. I’m certain any of them would do. As for the one elf, I get the feeling that he’ll do anything as long as you state that it’s for a good cause.~
Desiree: *groans and opens her eyes, for she hasn’t been to successful at going to sleep. She then stares up at the ceiling* “Are you still angry?”
Sephiroth: *”Well he’s not in the base, is he? Go and ask that other stupid looking thing with the tusks.”* *once again moves ahead, this time flying towards Rhyderi’s energy signal. He soon finds him on the edge of the island and lands* What are you doing out here?
Rhyderi: *frowns at Sephiroth* My brother is in need of help…
Kalysto: *”Yes.”*
