Desiree: *glances behind her to insure that her movements weren’t noticed. She then begins to look at the various bottles, trying to figure out what the difference between the variations are* Hmm… Do you know anything about this sort of stuff?
Jenna: *snaps her head up as she hears the rustling of the blankets. Soon enough, she walks over to the closet where Zach is hiding before kneeling down to gently pat the top of his head* Hey..? *As Seph questions her, she frowns* ~Well… We clearly need to do someting to rid ourselves of the source of all of this. How are you fairing?~
Kalysto: *nods* Yeah. The stiffer the drink is, the quicker it will take to make you blinded off your face. *reaches down to flick through the bottles, picking up a vodka one, reading the label* This one’s pretty strong. I bet you’d only need a few sips of this before beginning to feel the effects of it. But you don’t want to go overboard – drink too much and you will start throwing up.
Sephiroth: *”Me? I’m perfectly fine, this has happened to me before and I am more than used to it…”* *sighs* *”The others, not so well…”*
Zach: *yells* Get away from me! *swats out at Jenna*
Desiree: Heh.. You definitely sound like you’re experienced there. *she looks at the bottle that Kalysto had selected then shrugs* Hmm… Can’t be that bad. I mean.. I’ve seen mother drink this stuff like it was water… Then again, I think Father completely passed out after a sip of one of her drinks once. *frowns in thought, wondering what side of the spectrum she’ll wind up being. She then shrugs, figuring that no matter what, it’ll help her ignore Jenova. So, she pops opent he bottle before downing a large gulp. She then coughs and screws her face up in distaste* Eww…
Jenna: ~I suppose that is a good thing.. maybe.~ *she then yelps as Zach freaks out on her. So, she quickly moves in to hug him* Zach, settle down. It’s just me. You’re safe.
Kalysto: *”Coward. It’s not that bad. But that is undiluted. You’ve probably consumed too much in one hit already.”* *shakes his head* *”Don’t gulp it down like some sugar-candy drink. Sip and savor it, or at least mix it with something.”*
Zach: *flails his limbs, trying to shove Jenna away*
Desiree: *grumbles* I just want the buzzing and pain to go away… *sighs and shakes her head* Fine, Kalysto. You seem to know what you’re talking about. Go ahead and.. *frowns, feeling strange about asking the other soul in her body to drink alcohol for her*
Jenna: *ignores Zach’s failing. She just continues to hug onto him. She then tries to soothe him by softly humming into his ear* Settle down, Zach. It’s just me. I’m not going to hurt you.. ~Looks like Zach’s not handling this at all…~ *she then glances out toward the main room* ~Where did Desiree go?~
Kalysto: So freaking… block it out. Hate to tell you this, but even inibriated, you’re not going to do much good in blocking it out. Its going to nag at your mind until you get the willpower to actually fucking block it out yourself. Don’t rely on something else!
Desiree: *grits her teeth in annoyance. She then shakes her head* I’ve been trying, Kalysto. It’s not just a matter of blocking her out like that.. *thinks about how Jenova’s cells and genes composes most of her body. She then takes another swig of the vodka before coughing once more*
Jenna: *gently grips onto Zach and tries to pull him out to the main room* ~Seph, did you see where Desiree went?~
Sephiroth: *”No, I didn’t… I was more concerned with the infant. It’s mind is fragile and easily damaged and I wanted to make sure she wouldn’t suffer any permanent injury.”* *sighs* *”How are Jenova’s callings even getting through the defenses?”*
Kalysto: Well, try harder. You aren’t weak as shit, so act like it. *puts the bottle down, scowling* Don’t even bother. I already told you how to make the most of that stuff. You’re not listening to me.
Jenna: ~The defenses don’t have a single thing to do with blocking out this sort of stuff, Seph. The only thing that I ever really set up was a barrier to keep others from just teleporting inside from outside the base. That doesn’t mean shit when it comes to a psychic attack.~ *shifts into her hybrid form and simply picks up Zach. She ignores any struggling that he does as she moves him to the main room and sets him down on the bed*
Desiree: *lowers her head as Kalysto forces her to put down the bottle. She then frowns and looks to the side* I am trying…
Sephiroth: *”Well that’s not going to do much good… a unfortunate flaw for anybody who knows that hole in your defenses…”* *picks up Iris again and scans the area for Desiree. He moves up the stairs, narrowing his eyes as he recognises the stench of the alchohol. He grunts as he moves in the doorway, glaring at the girl* What are you doing?
Zach: *begins to shiver* NO! *curls up on the bed*
Jenna: *sighs and shifts back to her natural form once Zach is on the bed. She then shakes her head* Zach, settle down… You’re safe. *with that, she reaches over to gently massage the top of Zach’s head. She then blinks as she finally notices Dimitri, who is still digging through Sephiroth’s drawers* ~That’s strange… Dimitri seems.. completely fine.~
Desiree: *grumbles and tries to block off Jenova’s call once more. After a moment of this, she decides that she’d rather get another swig of the alcohol to help numb the sensation, so she quickly reaches down to pick up the bottle and drink some more. However, she quickly drops it as Sephiroth speaks to her* Go aaway.. *grunts as her head begins to spin*
Kalysto: *”Goddamn, woman, what the hell did I just tell you? Didn’t you listen to anything I said?”*
Sephiroth: *”Maybe he has some kind of tolerance… he is more dragon than anything else.”* *scowls and snatches the bottle away from Desiree, growling at her* Why the hell would you do something like this? Drinking liquor is no way to solve any of the issues at hand. *glares* Now you’re injured and useless.
Zach: *”Tell them to fuck off… I don’t want to go anywhere!”*
Desiree: *grumbles under her breath* That was going to lasst bit. Nawt thhat I haf a choice now. *she hisses as Sephiroth takes the bottle from her. She then climbs up to her feet. However, she promptly begins to sway and shakes her head* I’m fsine!
Jenna: ~I guess so. But it’s like he doesn’t hear a thing at all…~ *she then sighs and looks down at Zach* You’re not going anywhere. Don’t worry. You’re staying here. We won’t let them take you.
Sephiroth: *snarls angrily at her* Go to your room. NOW. You- *pokes her in the sternum, not hard enough to cause pain, but aggressively enough to make her pay attention* -are going to your room and you are going to sleep that off. *snorts* And then I never want to see you doing that again. Is that clear? *narrows his eyes*
Zach: *”Don’t let them… tie me down or lock me up.. I don’t want to serve!”*
Desiree: *Hisses in annoyance as Sephiroth pokes her. She then glares into his eyes* Why shhould I? What’ss sho bad about it? *growls* Not like mosha iss eva not drunk! *she waves her right hand at all the bottles* Why you think shhe still haf theese?
Jenna: Just keep on fighting against her. You’re doing.. *she continues to ponder over Dimitri. Her eyes then widen as she realizes something. Soon enough, she begins to frantically look around the room* Where’s Seres??
Zach: Seres… hey don’t ask me… *clutches at his head and tries to shove Jenna away, not really wanting to be comforted any more. He stumbles to his feet and tries to move back to his bedroom so he can hide in his closet again*
Sephiroth: For a start, you are underage. Secondly, it’s not even yours to drink. *scowls* Don’t argue with me and go to your room. NOW.
Jenna: *doesn’t pay much attention to Zach at the moment because she’s still trying to spot Seres. She then scans the area for her missing daughter. Upon finding that her daughter is outside the base, she rushes out the room and up the stairs* Shit..
Desiree: I’m underage by who’s shtandardss? Some Earth countries woul’ shay I’m of age. I’m shixteen! *balls up her fists* Fine, I’ll go upsstairs. Buh I’m not going to my roo- *she moves past Sephiroth only to be pushed off her feet by Jenna as she moves past*
Sephiroth: *scowls at Desiree’s initial comment, ending up narrowing his eyes as Jenna pushes Desiree aside. He doesn’t move down to help her up, but instead he folds his arms, glaring at Jenna as she moves past them and continues to head up the stairs* *”What are you in such a hurry about?”*
Jenna: ~Seres is currently outside, Seph. Doesn’t she have signficantly more Jenova cells than her brother does?~ *exits the base and begins to search around the area* Where is that girl.. *tries to concentrate on Seres’s energy signature and begins making her way toward the beach*
Desiree: *Groans as she pushes herself back up to her feet. She then dusts herself off before grumbling unintelligably under her breath* This isn’t fair.. *Sighing, she makes her way up the stairs*
Sephiroth: *”What the hell is she doing out there??”* *moves up the stairs after Jenna, growling back at Desiree* It’s your own damn fault. You have nobody to blame for your situation but yourself right now. *hurriedly moves out of the base and leaps into the air, levitating over the terrain to catcjh up with Jenna. He swoops down to rather ungracefully grab her up in his arms, and then he continues on his way, scanning the area ahead for the girl* What the hell is she doing?!
Desiree: Alcohol has been used as a pain killer in the past… *sighs and makes her way up to her room. She then sits down on her bed before groaning* What’s taking your brosher sso long?
Jenna: *yelps as she’s picked up by Sephiroth. She then grips onto his neck in order to stabalize herself* Some warning would have been nice… *She then shakes her head* I don’t know. That’s why I’m trying to find her..
Seres: *stares up toward the north as she stands on the shore. Her eyes are currently a bit glossed over and she is rather stiff*
Sephiroth: I don’t give warning. Get used to it. *smirks broadly at her momentarily, then focusses again on the task ahead of them. He sails over the beach and lands rather abruptly when he finally eyes the young female standing on the shoreline and drops Jenna within inches of the ground. Once landed, he moves over to the girl and crouches down beside her, waving a hand in front of her face* Is she in a trance? *tries to pick her up* How are we supposed to combat and block out something like this…
Kalysto: Ff… *scowls* *”I’m not talking to you right now. You can go fuck yourself!”*
Desiree: *grumbles* Aren’t you talking now…? *groans and moves to lie down on her bed* Why is my head shpinning sso mush? Ish thiss supposh ta be fun?
Jenna: *steps away from Sephiroth as he lands. She then narrows her eyes as she spots Seres* Damn… I guess we know which of the twins got the Jenova cells… *She shakes her head* Girl, wake up.
Seres: *blinks and looks up at Sephiroth. She then turns her head toward the north* She needs us..
Kalysto: *”Fucking idiot.”* **tries to ignore her which is very difficult while she has control of ‘their’ body and is very drunk because of it*
Sephiroth: Hrmph, indeed. *scowls down at Seres* Nobody needs us. In fact, stay away from her. Your real job is to go back inside and do nothing. *snorts* Jenova does not concern you. *scowls and shakes his head* I’m going to kill her..
Jenna: I fully concur with that sentiment. *scowls* Zach is royally fucked up too. He basically paniced each time that I touched him. *she shakes her head*
Seres: Do nothing? But… She’s calling. We need to go. *She whimpers and tries to step away from Sephiroth*
Desiree: *groans at Kalysto’s statements. She then shakes her head and closes her eyes* I’m nah idiot…
