Desiree: Well… my parents most definitely have a real form of immortality going on. I don’t really understand the soulstone stuff too well.. But it’s nothing like what goes on with my mother and father. *She frowns in thought* I think they said once that they traded a small bit of their souls to make a bond between the two of them. *She shrugs then looks at the ground* ~Damn it, Kalysto..~ *narrowing her eyes, she tries to see if she can use her magical abilities to at least drag Kalysto’s spirt toward where she is*
Rhyderi: I’m familiar with the act of soul-sharding too. I don’t really approve of it.. but I know of it. *scowls, folding his arms* Let’s just go where needed. I don’t really wish to stand around and discuss the intracacies of escaping death. *shakes his head* No, if death comes near me, I’m going to face it head-on and go down fighting with honor.
Kalysto: *because he is inactive right now, he would be relatively easy to drag around*
Desiree: *grumbles* You probably don’t know this, but I’ve been working on stuff… I’ve contacted Kalysto’s demon dude… Unfortunately, that guy took control of your brother’s body by the sounds of it.. And I’m trying to at least get some sort of hold on your brother’s spirit so he doesn’t get dispersed by the lifestream… Father told me it likes doing that to dead people. *she continues to pull at Kalysto’s spirit, moving it toward her current location* ~Bael, are you capable of making it back here?~
Bael: *”Am I capable of making it back there… what a silly question if ever I heard one.”* *growls* *”I can’t leave the atmosphere of your planet if that is what you are asking. The physical limitations of the vessel do not allow it.”*
Desiree: ~You should still be on my planet… I think you’re a few continents away though. Why was Kalysto there anyway? What was he doing in the lifestream?~ *she continues trying to pull Kalysto’s spirit toward her*
Bael: *”Somebody took him there as a prisoner. Why, I do not know. I do not understand half of you creatures and your stupid nuances. Your alliegences only matter to me if they are to me.”* *growls* *”I did not take note of where they went. I do not care.”*
Desiree: *Sighs* ~Just get over here so I can try to reunite Kalysto with his body. I’m certain he will not like it to find that he has to chase you all over the place..~ *she shakes her head. She grins in relief as Kalysto’s spirit is finally pulled over to her location. However, she then frowns as she realizes that she needs to try to stop pulling at his spirit so that it wouldn’t enter her body, but also needs to keep a hold of it so it doesn’t drift off again* Damn..
Bael: *”What makes you think that I want my keeper back? He is not my master and never was. I certainly don’t care for it back.”* *snarls* *”We had an agreement and now it is fullfilled. I kept my end of the bargain, and he kept his. It is done.”*
Desiree: ~And that’s his body… He deserves to have his body-~ *she then hisses as she pulls her attention away from Kalysto’s spirit and looses track of what happened to it* What the…? *she then snarls in annoyance* Damn it!
*If Desiree did indeed pull Kalysto’s spirit into her body, she would feel a mild numbness as he isn’t aware of himself right now though. Very slowly though, he begins to come to. Desiree may see fragments of his memory and concious thought surface as he becomes more aware and soon enough, confusion as the male tries to work out what is going on*
Desiree: *continues to desperately scan for Kalysto’s spirit, not having a clue where it went. However, she shakes her head as she starts to feel the numbness* What…? *scowling, she glances over at Rhyderi* Ummm… Your brother’s body is currently possessed… *she sends him an impression of where she last sensed Bael* You might want to.. you know… gather it. I- I have something important she needs to do. *she then rushes to her room, still completely unaware as to where Kalysto is. However, she trips and crashes into the doorway as she feels the wave of confusion* The hell..?
Rhyderi: I’ve known that for a damn long time. *flicks his ears back, frowning* Why are you only just making this observation now? He’s bound his soul to a demon for as long as I’ve known him during his adult life. *stares at her* What’s wrong with you?
Kalysto: *speaks out of Desiree’s mouth* What do you mean, what the hell? *shakes her head forcefully, looking at ‘his’ surroundings, seeming very confused as he realizes that as a human, the senses are not as sharp as if he were an elf* What is going on? *glances down at ‘himself’ and loudly yells*
Desiree: *stiffens up slightly as she notices that she’s lost control over her body. Not long after Kalysto yells via her voice, she quickly moves to clasp her hand over her mouth. She then closes her eyes* ~I’m… I’m fine. Just go find Kalysto’s body and bring it back here.. Or something.~ *she then rushes into her room and slams the door shut*
Kalysto: *tries to use Desiree’s psychic senses but because they are very different to his own, it doesn’t work. He tries to move her hands away from her mouth, thinking in frustration ‘Find Kalysto’s body?! What the hell happened to me?”*
Desiree: *stumbles away from the door, still quite confused and stunned at the turn of events* Kalysto? How.. What-? *she then shakes her head, still not understanding what happened* Umm… You died… And Bael’s currently using your body. *she moves over to a mirror, wanting to make certain that there was nothing physically wrong with her*
Kalysto: And yeah… by the looks of things, I’m possessing you. Or, you’re possessing me… *stares down at her breasts, then looks away, seeming a little embarassed at the situation* Okay, calm down, calm down… *looks over at the bed* Take a seat on that and we’ll try to work out how this is going to work. *mutters* Oh god, this is insane, this is insane, this is insane…
Desiree: But… How.. I was just pulled your spirit out of the lifestream.. *lowers her eyes then moves over to the bed. Soon enough, she sits down like Kalysto suggested* Father said that the lifestream will try to disperse the spirit of those who die. Said he hated the planet for that. I didn’t want that to happen to you. *she whimpers* Why do I always mess things up?!
Kalysto: I don’t know, but look, it’s not that hard to fix… I just, um.. *pauses, thinking about sharding his own soul to remove it from the body completely. Then he remembers his soulstone which is still in his physical body’s pocket* Kill us. I’ll break free from that.
Desiree: What? No! *she quickly shakes her head* No, no, no. I don’t know how you do this “dead-dead” and “not dead-dead” stuff that your brother was talking about. But for me, if I die, that’s it. I’m dead… *she shakes her head* I’m not killing myself. *she then looks at the ground* Maybe I’m just going insane like father did… I’m talking to myself, right?
Kalysto: *reaches over to pinch her arm* You’re not talking to yourself. It’s me, Kalysto. You were just talking to Bael, right? If I’m here, then he’s probably parading my body around somewhere… fuck my life. *sighs* But no, you’re not dreaming, and you’re not insane… *mumbles* Though I must say, your eyesight is terrible…
Desiree: *grits her teeth* There’s nothing wrong with my eye-sight! I have perfect vision. Hrmph… *She then leans back onto the bed and stares at the ceiling* Yea.. Bael said he wasn’t giving your body up and that he did his part of the bargain or something like that.. I was going to- I don’t know.. *whimpers* Why do I have to be such a fuck-up?
Kalysto: *sighs* Don’t worry, don’t worrry. I’ve done worse than this before. *thinks back to alchemy lessons when he was younger and remembers blowing up one of the Orc tents in Orgrimmar, then running away after it caught fire*
Desiree: *speaks in a dead-pan manner* That’s not worse than this… Not worse than this at all. *groans and shakes her head* I guess it doesn’t matter much yet. We need to have your brother come back with your body before we do anything at all… Hopefully, he’ll come back with it.
Kalysto: Knowing Rhy, he’ll catch up to it, and then he won’t know what the hell to do about it. He’s such a loser… *sighs openly, then shakes ‘his’ head* OK… if this is the worst thing that’s ever happened to you, how do you propose splitting us again, hmm? Seeing as though I don’t know what I am talking about.
