Kalysto: Damed unlikely… considering his level of incompetency. He’s all, hey, look at me! And bash it with his sword. Never thinks anything through. *sighs* You might as well have sent the Felhunter after it.
Desiree: *narrows her eyes as she notices a spirit laughing at her. Unlike most people, her mind is always semi-phased into the astral plane, so she actually can see and hear the spirits around. Still, she decides to try to ignore it and instead concentrates on what Kalysto is saying* Well.. I could try asking my father to help.
Kalysto: You could, but– *narrows his eyes as he hears the spirit laughing at her, then flatly speaks* Excuse me for one moment. *promptly phase-shifts onto the Astral-plane, appearing in front of the spirit. He raises a hand out towards it, then begins to use the energies of the plane itself to strangle the spirit* Not laughing any more, are we.
Desiree: *blinks in confusion as she notices what Kalysto is doing. She then sits up* What the…? So.. you can exit my body just like that? *seems extremely confused*
Kalysto: *stops* Not exactly… **sighs and moves back into her* My soul is still bound to the physical realm by a body. Without it, I’m just a small spirit wandering the nether. While I can phase-shift out, I can’t just… stay out there.
Desiree: Yea… but you can leave my body… Doesn’t that mean that you can just use that to jump back into your own when it”s nearby? *twitches slightly at the feel of Kalysto returning to her body. She then shakes her head* This is all fucked up..
Kalysto: No, I couldn’t, if Bael became the dominant soul in it… *frowns in thought, pondering to himself that it might be better to just kill his body when it is close enough* It’s kind of complicated. But it could be managed… without too much effort. *mutters* Thank god my expertise is in handling spirits, and the Nether…
Desiree: *allows herself a small grin* Yes.. thank goodness. *She then sighs and slides off the bed* Sorry, Kalysto, I’m tired of being stuck in here.. I’ve been resting and doing nothing for days. *she idly picks at one of her bandages as she moves out of the room and begins heading to the training room*
Kalysto: *scowls slightly at Desiree’s level of pain and begins to think of feeding on some kind of nearby magic source* Ask the Shaman to cast a healing spell on you. It will at least numb the pain. *watches where Desiree is headed, taking note of the lack of cravings her body has*
Desiree: *Grumbles* I’ll be fine. I’m the daughter of the best general to have ever existed… *grins as she thinks of her father for a moment. She then sighs and continues to make her way to the training room. While her body has no cravings for arcane magic, she does have some of the instincts of both Jenova and a dragon. Also, if Jenova is released from the WEAPON’s stomach already, the call of Jenova would be very faintly found in the background, but Desiree is ignoring it for now. As she moves into the training room, she presses a button to make the walls flip over and display all the weapons*
Kalysto: *stares at the weapons in the room, seeming clearly unimpressed* Why do you even have these? They’re not even interesting… at least get them enchanted. *reaches out to poke at an axe* What are you going to do with these anyway, sell them?
Desiree: Enchanted? *shakes her head* I don’t really know what you’re talking about there, but I don’t need a burning axe or things like that. *she allows for Kalysto to poke at the axe. However, once he’s done, she moves away to pick up one of the katanas* And we use these ones to practice. The real armory is downstairs a bit. *with that, she does a few practice swings of the katana to test the feel of the weight and balance of the sword*
Kalysto: What’s wrong with a burning axe… *stares at the katana as Desiree moves it around* Oh you’re actually going to attack something with that? *thinks of his own enchanted sword which he only keeps around for the betterment of his own spellcasting* Don’t break anything.
Desiree: Because, it’s highly useless.. I mean, there’s not really much more that a burning axe would do in comprarison to a regular one. Other than overheat the metal and make it really uncomfortable for the weapon weilder. *frowns as her movements cause her injuries to flare up a small bit. She then mutters* I’m going to have to go easy for today.. *She then brings the sword up to the offensive stance that her father has taught her before starting one of his katas*
Kalysto: *doesn’t see the point of Desiree practising a kata and immediately tries to walk away, seeming more interested in brewing some potions in the side room* A burning axe can inflict burns on the one you’re whacking it into. Duh.
Desiree: *yelps and hisses in pain as Kalysto’s attempts to walk away end up in her falling in a heap on the ground. She then narrows her eyes* Why did you do tha- *She then tenses and clamps up as she spots Jenna in the doorway to the training room*
Jenna: *tilts her head as she spots Desiree on the floor. However, for now, she doesn’t say a word*
Kalysto: *wonders why Desiree is so bothered by this woman and raises ‘his’ eyebrows up and down, smirking at her. He also tries to move the flesh on the sides of his head as he would if he was making his ears move, but it doesn’t really work with Desiree being a human* So I fell down. Big deal. It’s not that interesting.
Jenna: *even though her wings are not materialized at the moment, Desiree is still capable of seeing them quite clearly. She’s also capable of seeing a single spirit get too close to them and get managled by the properties of Jenna’s wings, which are used to draw energy from her surroundings and into her body* Right.. *narrows her eyes as she notices Desiree’s expressions. She then shakes her head* ~Seph, your daughter is acting strange.~
Desiree: *thinks back to how Jenna had cursed her father all those years back when she abandoned the family. However, she remains silent on the matter. Instead, she just pushes herself back up to at least be sitting upright*
Kalysto: *”If she would do something like that, why is she allowed to roam free? I don’t have my demonology books with me, but if I read up on the subject enough, I’m sure we could work out how to banish her from this realm. Especially if she is not supposed to walk among the realm of the living.”*
Sephiroth: *”What is she doing?”*
Desiree: “Because, father’s head over heels over her… He forgave her nearly the moment that she returned. I think he also said something about a split personality once…” *she shakes her head and shoots Jenna a glare*
Jenna: *keeps a scrutinizing gaze over Desiree* ~I am not exactly certain. I only walked in here recently, but something is most certainly off with her expressions. And the fact that she was face-flat on the floor with no one else around is not exactly normal.~ *she then begins to click the claws on her right glove against each other*
Kalysto: *”Well… give me some time to read up on it. I know what she is. I just don’t know if I have the means to banish her. Maybe not like I am now… but with more demonic empowerment…”* *begins pondering how to gain the favor of one of the larger beings on the Astral Plane*
Jenna: *finally moves fully over to Desiree. She then reaches down to grip onto the girl’s shoulders and help her back to her feet* Normally, when one falls down, it is an idea to get back up. *shakes her head in displeasure, she then turns her back on the girl* Centra, please activate the control panel. *only a moment after Jenna speaks, a holographic screen that is the size of a sixty inch television appears infront of the sorceress. Soon enough, Jenna begins to press her fingers against the holographic keys and set up a training program for herself* ~I suppose Desiree will always be strange anyway.. Hrmph. Do you desire to join me, my love?~
Desiree: *scowls as Jenna helps her to her feet. She then quickly reaches up to brush off the parts of her body that Jenna touched* Bitch…
Kalysto: *”Not really… it’s probably just enacting on it’s base purpose. It’s not really a bitch – just functional.”* *yawns* *”It’s like calling me a jerk because I can summon demons.”* *watches the holographic picture curiously* *”There are Titan projections here?”*
Sephiroth: *”What would you like me to join you for?”*
Jenna: *smirks* ~Well, I’m planning on getting hot and sweaty. I should think that you always love being around at those times.~ *she softly chuckles as she continues to configure the training program to her likings* ~I’m going to exercise with a training program. Of course, it could lead to other things.~
Desiree: “It’s? What exactly do you think that my mother is, Kalysto?” *she quickly shakes her head. She then moves to pick up the katana that she had dropped earlier* Titan proje- *hisses as she realizes that she’s talking out loud*
Kalysto: *”You don’t know what she is? Didn’t we discuss this before? I’m sure we did…”* *begins to think of the different ranks of demons and lesser beings in the Nether, then shakes his head* *”I did talk to you about it before.”* *pauses* *”So are we leaving this place or what? Looks like she’s going to do something.”*
Sephiroth: *”Would you honestly want to do anything after tiring yourself out from exercise?”*
