Elder’s daughter: *looks at the tea then shakes her head* No, I have had enough kindnesses from strangers as of late. I desire no more. *she then glances at Jenna and frowns* You friend has his wings… *bites her lip in concern*
Kalysto: She has his wings? Whose? *glances at Jenna, then back at the lady* I have wings too, you know. Did you want to see them? I don’t consider them a problem to be honest. They’re there, but they’re not at the same time. Make sense? *glances at Jenna again* *”Elf chick here thinks your wings look like somebody else’s… should really get rid of em, its freaking her out.”* *resumes purring at the blonde elf* What sort of things do you like, if not the kindness of others? *sips his tea*
Jenna: *frowns* ~I’ll put away my wings when I very well please. I do not see why she would have a problem with..~ *narrows her eyes as she notices his purring* ~Idiot, you shouldn’t be doing that. Not only can you blow our cover, but do you or do you not care about Desiree?~
Elder’s daughter: *looks over Jenna’s wings again and shakes her head* It must be a coincidence. *sighs at Kalysto’s inquiries* I did not mean it that way. I’ve just.. have had someone bother me quite a bit as of late. Do not worry yourself over it, though. I am quite safe.
Kalysto: *ignores Jenna, brushing her off with a wave of his hand before moving more towards the Elder’s daughter* If somebody is bothering you, I can protect you. All you need to do is say the word, and I will protect you from anything. *leans against the counter, blowing a kiss to her with his free hand* You should stay close. It’s easier for me to keep an eye on things.
Jenna: *glares in disgust at Kalysto. She then loudly speaks out to the blonde elf* He has herpes.
Elder’s daughter: *stares at Kalysto for a bit, shaking her head. She then turns her head to Jenna and slowly nods* Ah.. I see. *gets up and formly bows to Kalysto* It was… nice.. meeting you. *with that, she turns to leave the room*
Kalysto: *growls and turns on Jenna, picking up his tea again* What was that for? *moves to sit in the chair next to her* *”You just ruined my chances of getting closer to her! How am I supposed to finish this mission given to me if you’re going to interfere like that!?”*
Jenna: ~You’re supposed to get close to the old man, not a blond bimbo.~ *snorts* ~Anyway, I’d be a completely terrible mother if I let you cheat on my daughter right in front of my eyes.~ *Shakes her head*
Kalysto: *”I wasn’t cheating! I didn’t even touch her. Sheesh.”* *flicks his ears back, disgusted* *”Anyway, know this – elves are very sexual creatures. What might be considered a bad thing to you may be a normal thing to us. Next time, stay the hell out and let me work here. If I’d gotten closer to the daughter, I could have gotten closer to the old man. Now I can’t do that.”* *folds his arms, thoughrouly pissed off*
Jenna: ~And you gave the old man the story of us being a couple. What do you think someone who is even older than me, and more than likely more old-fashioned than me too, would think about you hitting on a daughter that’s clearly being hit on by someone else, hm?~ *Shakes her head* ~Just keep your mind on your goal and out of your pants.~
Kalysto: *”Normally I’d commend you if my goal was to get in her pants. By all means, whack my moral compass into line. But in this case you’re wrong – I wasn’t trying to get free sexings out of her. Don’t be ridiculous.”* *huffs in annoyance and moves out of the chair to explore the house, looking for the location of the elder*
Jenna: *shakes her head at Kalysto’s complaints. She then sighs and mutters under her breath* Just get this thing done and over with so we can get going home already. *yawns and stretches a bit, flaring out her wings as she does such*
Kalysto: *wanders through the Elder’s quarters, soon coming upon his room. He peers inside, wondering what the old man is up to right now*
Aedwyn: *is currently hunched over his desk and scrawling in his journal. Since he is busy thinking and writing, he doesn’t notice Kalysto’s approach. Since his ears aren’t as large as Kalysto’s, they don’t twitch in the manner that his kind’s would.*
Kalysto: *shuffles back out of the hallway, and moves back towards Jenna* *”I’m sorry to make you wait longer, but we’re going to be here until nightfall. I want everything to be completely silent and everyone to be asleep so we don’t arouse suspicion. Also, I gotta say… these elves don’t seem very magically inclined.”*
Jenna: *sighs* ~Very well, I’ll be able to handle that.~ *nods her head then tries to relax in the chair where she’s resting* ~As for them not being magically inclined, I’m inclined to disagree. Did I not need to remove a rather elaborate illusion spell just a bit ago?~
Kalysto: *”I guess, but maybe… just maybe.”* *pauses* *”I’m pondering not following the dragon’s orders. I can learn more from an offshoot of my race than one dragon. Would you consider moving them somewhere? Such as Halcyon, or perhaps my hometown in Azeroth?”*
Jenna: ~Boy, you are an elf… Hrmph, I guess you wouldn’t really know since you were not raised like them, right?~ *shakes her head* ~These people tend to be very attached to the land where they were born. They love it as if it were part of their family. It would take quite a bit of convincing to get them to leave. Why do you think they are here and not on Halcyon, which was originally one of the available sanctuaries on Earth.~
Kalysto: *sighs and shakes his head* *”That dragon… the one with your wings. He’s going to do something to these people once the elder is dead. I just know it. When I talked to him last, he was having his way with a girl. He didn’t want to be interrupted, but he gave me more information.”*
Jenna: ~Sometimes, those such as you and I are not the ones meant to interfere in such matters…~ *shakes her head* ~If you wish to try to convince them, I shall try. However, as I said, these people value their land. For centuries, they have been told that they should move, but yet they remain. I do not know if you will have much better luck.~
Kalysto: *”Talk to them if you want. If they don’t come… at least warn them and get them out of there. I’m not playing Paladin-Hero but I can think of several reasons to preserve these people rather than let the dragon kill them off. I’m sorry but I can think of more personal benefit from that, than from doing what the dragon says.”*
Jenna: ~I do not mind assisting these people. I just do not think that you will have much luck. Having doubt doesn’t mean I disapprove. Anyway, what does my opinion matter? Talk to them, not me.~ *shakes her head* ~And… what did you mean by “dragon with my wings”?~
Kalysto: *”Did you not see the dragon earlier? He has feathery wings. They looked like yours except they weren’t firey. Maybe he’s a relation of yours? You are a half-dragon after all, are you not?”* *frowns* *”I’ll talk to them…”* *moves to his feet and heads back towards the Elders’ room, knocking on the door* Hello? May I speak with you?
Jenna: *narrows her eyes in thought* ~Well… yes, it is possible that.. It’s probably just a coincidence though. I’ve heard of other dragons having feathered wings. The fact that one has very similar patterning…~ *violently shakes her head* ~My wings are based off magic, and that’s it.~
Aedwyn: *looks up from his journal and turns around to face Kalysto* Yes, how may I help you?
Kalysto: *”Go back to him and ask. Maybe he knows a relative.”* Look… *pauses hesitantly* I don’t know if you know this, but… have you seen a giant red dragon with feathered wings before? *bites his lip* I need to ask you this because, well…
Aedwyn: Yes, that one has visited my village several a time. He keeps on advancing on my daughter and trying to take her away for his games. I know his type quite well, and I have bashed him on the head many a time too. What of him?
Jenna: ~Why should I waste my time with such foolishness? My wings are the way they are because of magic. That’s all.~ *despite her attempt to be firm, there is a bit of doubt in her words*
