Jenna: *groans at Kalysto’s words. After another few moments, she finds what she feels is a safe spot. So, she reaches over to grip onto the warlock’s wrist before teleporting them down to where the “secret” is*
*at the heart of the mine, more than 25 feet below the lowest digging area, there is a large open crevice with underground water running through. Off to one side is the entire skeleton of a six winged dragon, curled up in a restful position like it knew it was the end of its life and it had reached it’s final resting place. In its paws, the skeleton clutches a giant basketball sized orb-like artefact which pulsates erratically*
Kalysto: *frowns as he’s teleported below* We came down here for that? Steal that thing.
Jenna: Youths.. *frowns at Kalysto* First, we know where it is, so if you were smart, you’d realize that first completing the request and getting my payment would be pertinent. Then, I could come back and steal this thing. Second, it might not be worth it to steal the orb *she moves closer to examine the orb*
*the pulsating orb begins to synchronise itself with Jenna when she gets near it, pulsating with her heartbeat. But because she is pregnant and there is a second presence nearby with a heartbeat, the pulsating is not clean and seamless*
Kalysto: So blow it up, and come back and steal it.
Jenna: *Narrows her eyes as she continues to look over the orb. She then shrugs* Yes, I might do that. *sighs then turns around to think about the mine* This is going to be harder than usual. Normally, I’d just make a huge explosion and if I died, I wouldn’t care. However, I’m pregnant..
Kalysto: So do something where all you have to do is hang overhead. Do you know how to make delayed time spells? Do you know how to stop time and cast a spell, then get out of there before it goes off? *begins to think, scratching the back of his head* Hell, even some kind of kinetic ability can help… you know, snake the explosion seed magic into the place you need it, then boom.
Jenna: *sighs* Do not worry so much, I know how to do those sort of things. It is just more risky to do it from a distance. *she then teleports the two of them to the deepest point of the mine* If you want, add your own runes and explosions. It won’t hurt. *with that, she closes her eyes and concentrates on her magical abilities. Utilizing her will and knowledge in magic alone, she begins embedding the runes of her explosion and implosion spell onto the walls of the mine around them*
Desiree: *Has been searching around her new house for Kalysto. After not finding him for several hours, she storms to her old house and moves to storm into Sephiroth’s room*
Sephiroth: *hasn’t come home and is still directing the last of the cleanup operations in the town. In the last several hours, he has managed a near cleanup, except for some small remote bits*
Kalysto: I was hoping you would say something. I thought you’d never ask. *watches her curiously, seeming to be able to read the magic energy. He raises his hands up and begins to focus on the area around him, setting up seeds of destruction in the area*
Desiree: *clenches her fists as she finds herself in an empty bedroom. After stomping her right foot against the floor, she glares out the window* ~Ok, Father, what did you do to Kalysto?? Where is he?!~
Jenna: *opens her eyes as she finishes setting up her spells. After looking over the runes that she had set up, she nods then glances at Kalysto* Are you finished up?
Kalysto: *smirks and nods* It’s gonna go down like a sequence of dominoes. But you haven’t got long. About five minutes at most, before the spells dissipate. Lets get somewhere safe, no?
Sephiroth: *”I didn’t do anything to your elf friend. I have been out here all day trying to manage idiots around here so the town is properly clean again. Why do you ask?”*
Jenna: *nods then moves up behind Kalysto before wrapping her arms about his waste* Just remember one thing: I do intend for there to be survivors. *with that, she teleports up to the city above. She then lets him go before softly muttering the words that would trigger her own spells*
Desiree: ~That has to be bullshit… I’ve been looking for him for hours! I can’t find him.~ *stalks out of the house and begins to track down Sephiroth’s location* ~Where is he??~
Sephiroth: *”To be honest, I really don’t know. I’ve been out here. It’s not bullshit. I’ve been out here directing soldiers around and any of them can vouch for that, if you are going to demand an alibi.”* *scowls* *”So if he’s missing, its not my fault.”*
Kalysto: *ducks his head as he hears the explosions go off. He can’t help but snicker as he hears his own magic seeds of destruction explode, doing massive damage to the area around themselves* That’s quite one hefty explosion if I do say so myself. There will be survivors, so don’t worry about that. Now all you need to do is withdraw and tell the dragon you did what you were asked. And demand money.
Desiree: *scowls* ~Fine then… Where’s mother? She wasn’t in the house, and she’s fucked with him as well? You put her up to doing it, didn’t you?~
Jenna: Currency doesn’t mean anything to me, and probably doesn’t mean anything to the dragon either. However, I will ask for compensation. *She lets him go then steps aside* You said you were asked to do something. Right?
Sephiroth: *”What? I didn’t do anything to anybody. I haven’t talked to Jenna since this morning. There was an issue and… I do not wish to talk about it with you. But I can assure you that I have not had any dealings with her since this morning. I have had no influence on anyone today apart from the soldiers I am managing.”*
Kalysto: Um, yea… I have to go kill an elder elf. I forget where it was though.
Jenna: *Groans at Kalysto’s words* You forgot where it was? Well, how are you supposed to finish a task if you forgot what the directions were? *shakes her head* Do you want me to bring you to the person who gave you that task?
Desiree: ~Fine.. But where’s mother then? I want to ask her about Kalysto, but I can’t find her.~
Kalysto: Bring me to the person who gave me the task? You mean, take me back to the dragon with the feathered wings who gave me the instructions in the first place? Forgive me, but what is that going to accomplish?
Sephiroth: *”I don’t know where she is. I don’t know where either of them are. Do you want me to tell you where I’ve been all day yet again? I don’t know, Desiree. You will get no helpful information from me because I have been here all day.”*
Jenna: *frowns at Kalysto* Are you dense or dumb? *shakes her head* If you forgot where you were supposed to go, then you need to go to the being who knows where that was. *crosses her arms* I don’t have a fucking clue what you were told because I was being briefed on my own objectives.
Desiree: ~Well, then, help me out, Father! Don’t you care that I can’t find mother, at all? Nor can I find the guy I care about. I really would like to know where the fuck Kalysto went!~
Sephiroth: *”Jenna has dissapeared before. She was angry with me, so I’m not surprised that she did not say anything. However… I am not worried. She will be back, you’ll see.”* *frowns* *”If she is not back by nightfall, I will go looking for her. Does that sound adequate? I cannot answer for the elf, however.”* *lightly tugs on the bond, frowning when he discovers the other end is in an another dimension entirely*
Kalysto: *glares at her* I meant there’s no point in going to him, when you can just ask him. In your head. Duh.
Desiree: ~It’s already almost nightfall, Father. That’s why I was looking for Kalysto…~ *shakes her head* ~He usually doesn’t run off like this. Droozun doesn’t know where he is either!~ *sighs then heads back to “her” house, feeling defeated*
Jenna: Very well then. It is your task. Go ask him. *nods then moves to lean against a wall, despite the fact that she’s shivering once more*
Kalysto: *”Hey, dragon. Dragon? Are you there?”* *sighs and leans back against the wall also, waiting on a reply*
Sephiroth: *”Don’t worry a great deal. You don’t know him properly, so you can’t judge his ability to survive and cope. Just wait until he returns, then kick his ass for making you worry. How does that sound?”*
Quetzitohl: *there is a brief flash of a female who is being bound up, however, the image is quickly removed from the transmission* ~What do you want, elf? The old male is not deceased yet.~
Desiree: ~That sounds like shit. I am worried now. I deserve to be able to find out how he is? Why the fuck aren’t you concerned that mother is gone too?~
Sephiroth: *”I’m not concerned because I have a soul-link to her. If I want to know where she is, I can find out. It’s not a problem.”* *sighs* *”I understand that you’re concerned, but don’t take your anger out on me because my way of doing things is different to yours.”*
Kalysto: *”What do I want? I want to know where the old male elf is exactly.”*
Quetzitohl: *seems to rumble* ~You have forgotten such things already? Hrmph, very well. But do not make me give you this information again. He is in a small town which is nestled within the mountain chain named the alps. This town is at the northern border of Italy, below France.~ *sends him a mental impression of where the town is located* ~Now, leave me be. I have… business to take care of.~
Desiree: *grumbles then moves to where Droozun is. Sighing, she reaches down to rub his mane* Kalysto wasn’t there..
Kalysto: *”Right… thanks for the geography lesson, dude. I’ll get right on the killings right away. Have fun with your, erm, harem?”* *sighs* Yeah, he said its in Alps mountains. You know where that is, right?
Droozun: Urrr-rrrr. *sends Desiree a picture of the Twisting Nether, then skitters back on his hinds, squeaking. He makes clicking noises, then motions away with his head*
Jenna: The alps? That is a rather long chain of mountains. It could take days to scour the full length of them for a small elf town. *shakes her head* Did you get anything more.. definite?
Desiree: *blinks at Droozun* Huh? Are you saying he’s there? Or do you want to go back there. *she glances at his puppies* I’ll keep them safe, if you tell them to behave, that is.
