Jenna: *Smirks and moves her hand away as its shoved* Oh, do not worry there. I am convinced. However, if you ever do hurt my daughter- *her eyes become a darker shade of red as her pupils slit* I won’t play games. *with that, she turns around and heads back up the stairs* I am still willing to teach you magic, if that is what you desire.
Kalysto: *makes a low grumbling noise and shakes his head* Not so sure if I’m willing to learn from you any more…. *rubs his shoulder and steps back* Can I go now?
Jenna: *dismissively waves her hand* Be on your way. Go. Shoo. I care not what you do. *she moves to her room then nods at Sephiroth* Everything should be taken care of.
Kalysto: *growls and moves away from Jenna, heading back downstairs to check up on Milena. He frowns as he finds her in the high chair and takes her out, setting her on the floor* Who the hell put her there? She was upset.
Zach: I did. *frowns* She was bugging Xelong while he was eating. And she thinks she can do whatever she wants.
Sephiroth: *releases Desiree again* Go on.
Desiree: *frowns as she steps away from Sephiroth. She then narrows her eyes as she spots Jenna. Soon after, she glares at Sephiroth once more* ~Both of you, stay out of my love life.~ *she then rushes down to where Kalysto is*
Jenna: *sighs and shakes her head* Well… that went well. *shrugs* Are you at least content with my findings?
Sephiroth: *makes a discontent sound* Content enough…. I don’t like what’s occuring with my daughter, but I can’t very well do anything to stop it, can I?
Kalysto: *watches Milena sulk miserably on the floor* Am I supposed to catch food for her, or what? What does it eat?
Zach: If she’s anything like Xelong, kill some fresh meat for her every day. And make sure she eats the cartilage, bone, and the stomach contents, especially if it’s a herbivore.
Jenna: *Sighs at Sephiroth then moves closer in to his location so that she can kiss him* Oh, settle down. You didn’t fail. She’s a wonderful woman, I’m certain. She’s just in love. *smirks* I’m certain she’ll settle down completely in time.
Desiree: *moves up to Kalysto’s side then runs her fingers through his hair* ~You spoke to my mother alone back there. Are you alright?~ *She then glances at Milena and sighs* What are you pouting about, girl?
Kalysto: *”I told her she was out of line. And that I don’t want to be toyed with in that manner ever again. Apart from that… I think it went rather well. Now I’m with the other one of the silver haired people. The fat one. He’s telling me how to feed my dragon.”*
Sephiroth: Tch… I hope so. I don’t… *shrugs* I don’t even know any more…
Jenna: Why do you disapprove of that elf so much? He makes her happy, does he not? Shouldn’t that be a very important reason to approve of him?
Desiree: *nods at Kalysto’s words* ~For the record, the “fat one” is called Zach. I’m certain he wouldn’t like being called fat.~ *chuckles as she looks at Zach* Hey, Brother, you really need to work out more.
Sephiroth: He just seems…. *mutters* There’s something wrong with him, I know there is. I’m just trying work out exactly what it is. But it bothers me, and it keeps coming up in my mind. There’s something about him I simply do not like.
Zach: Hey sister, you really need to shut up. *picks up a piece of fruit from the bowl and begins to munch on it*
Jenna: He is a warlock and plays with demons. Perhaps that is what you’re sensing? *sighs* Well, I guess there’s one last thing that can possibly be done for you to feel secure with him being the object of Desiree’s affections or not…
Desiree: *smirks at Zach. She then frowns in thought and glances at Kalysto* ~Do you even wonder where your own brother is?~
Sephiroth: Oh there is? And what might that be?
Kalysto: *”I know where he is. He stayed in that one cold town. He said it’s downtrodden and destitute and that if he’s going to be stuck on this planet, he might as well do something to help. So now he builds and repairs houses there or something like that. He’s a sap.”*
Desiree: Ah… ~Well, at least it keeps him entertained. Though it’s still a shame that you have next to no real relationship with your own blood.~ *glances at Zach* ~Mine can be a pain, but I like having them around. If only to do this.~ Hey, Zach, how many pounds did you gain today alone?
Jenna: Go deep into his mind and find out for yourself what makes him tick. *she shrugs* That’s about the only thing left that can be done to convince you.
Kalysto: *”My brother hates me. Plain and simple. I do things that go against everything he believes in. Against everything his father believed in. And he is covinced that I am the black sheep of the family, even though my own mother dabbled in the art of demons and kept Bael around for many, many years. He simply won’t believe she was anything other than a sweet little innocent mage.”*
Sephiroth: *ponders Jenna’s suggestion and nods* I might do that actually.
Jenna: Do you want me to watch over you while you do that? I’m certain your body will be quite vulnerable if you try such a feat.
Desiree: *sighs* ~Yes, you’ve mentioned such things to me in the past. It’s still rather sad. I suppose there’s nothing that can be really done about it.~ *she shakes her head then glances at Milena* Perhaps we should take her to our room so she can get used to it… *ponders* ~Droozun, do you want to go back with your puppies?~
Droozun: *makes a rumbling sound and flicks his stalkers back, which is the best he can manage to indicate a shrug of indifference*
Kalysto: *”I’m used to it. After we part company, he thought I had succumbed to sickness and died. If anything I think he’s happy I’m alive, but he loathes the path I chose for myself. That’s something I have to live with on my own.”* *glances at Milena and nods* She’d like the room. However… I don’t know where she would sleep.
Desiree: *sighs then pats the top of Droozun’s head. She frowns as she glances around then nods at Kalysto* Go ahead and take Milena to our room. I’ll be with you in a few moments. ~Come with me, Droozun. I have a favor to ask of you.~ *With that, she moves out of the house*
Droozun: *bounds after Desiree, following her outside. Once she stops, he would look up at her and sit on his haunches, panting as he awaits instruction*
Kalysto: *nods and carries Milena away to the bedroom, setting her down onto the floor* You’re going to be here now. No more sleeping outside with that troll. *rolls his eyes as the girl begins to whimper* *”I think I need to take her back. She likes Zulmire better.”*
Desiree: ~Just give her time, Kalysto. You can’t expect her to like you right away. Hell, I didn’t even like you right away. Then again, you did try to burn me at the first meeting..~ *she leans down and begins to inspect Droozun. She then grins as she goes through his mane* Can you deliver a message for me? Something that I want you to hold onto for years, maybe even decades?
Droozun: *stays rather still, then makes a single noise of affirmation* …ih. *makes a rumbling sound almost resembling a purr, seeming to enjoy being stroked*
Kalysto: *”Yeah everyone says that. Give it more time, it will be alright one day.”* *scowls* *”Very well, then.”*
Desiree: *Grins at the noise that Droozun is making. She then nods in approval before pulling out a scarp piece of paper from one of her pockets* ~Well, maybe you do need to give it just a bit more time, hm?~ *shakes her head then begins to write. Her message winds up reading as such:
“Hello, Kalysto. If you are reading this, then the perdiction from that future self I saw was right and I am no longer there for you. I do not know why or how this occurred; however, I do want you to know one thing. Starting today, Friday, the thirteenth day of the seventh month of XXXX, I will wait at 8:00 pm at the beach a bit north of my house in Mideel. I shall wait there every Friday. If you want to see me again, you can come to me at any time, for I know you have learned how to break time and space.
Also, please know that I do love you.

Once she is done, she folds up the paper and uses magic to hide it amoungst Droozun’s mane. She then leans in closer to the felhound* Ok, remember that thing is there. Now, if for any reason Kalysto is no longer with me, let him know about that message, ok?
Droozun: *wiggles uncomfortably as Desiree hides the message amongst his mane. He begins to itch at his side, soon giving up on it when it doesn’t bother him any more. He makes a grunting sound at Desiree’s comment and clumsily nods* Ih.
Kalysto: *”Where do I find diapers that will fit this girl? She hasn’t exploded all over the floor yet, but it’s bound to happen soon.”*
Desiree: Now, go back to Kalysto. He needs you more than I do. *she pats Droozun’s head once more. She then dismisses him before standing up to head up to the beach as she said she would in the letter* ~Oh, just steal some from Iris’s stash.~ *sends him a very distinct impression of where the diapers are stored* ~They should do.~
Kalysto: *wanders through the house, stopping after a few minutes* *”We have a problem. This dragon hybrid has a tail, you see. It’s… not very good. The diaper won’t fit…”* *sighs* *”Now what do I do? This doesn’t look like it would work. Do I use scissors?”*
Desiree: ~Yes, I’d imagine using scissors would work out. Just work out something, Kalysto. If you have to, you’re a tailor, go and sew something up to use as a diaper.~ *sighs and shakes her head. She then sits down on a large fallen trunk that is at the edge of the beach. She frowns as the breeze hits her then shivers* Ok… will have to remember to bring a blanket next time..
