Kalysto: I hope I don’t have to feed her half a cow every day. *glances at her lower half and frowns* Because you know what’s going to happen to it all once digested, right..? It’s going to go onto the floor. *shudders* That is, if it isn’t toilet-trained.
Desiree: Or, you know, you could use this thing called a diaper. And then it will not go onto the floor. *Sighs at him* You really never paid any attention to my siblings at all, did you?
Kalysto: *growls at her* I know what a diaper is! I just… *glances at the youngster again and shudders* Yeah, can I take it back now? I don’t think I want to keep it around. I don’t even know why I consented to this in the first place. *scowls* Yuck.
Desiree: *Groans* LIsten, Kalysto. I’ll help you out with that sort of stuff, ok? And.. Well, there is one last tool we can use.. *Frowns in thought. She then looks up* ~Zach, can we borrow Xelong for a bit?~
Zach: *”You want to borrow Xelong for something? What on earth for?”* *picks up the small dragon and carries him out to the kitchen, placing him onto the floor near Desiree* What’s going on? *stares at Milena, then moves over to the high chair to see her* Oh wow. Cool.
Kalysto: You want to help? *sighs* Alright…
Xelong: *chirps at Zach as he carries him down to the kitchen. Once he’s set down on the floor, he spreads out his wings and does a big show of stretching and yawning. He then leaps up to the table top to see what’s going on* ~What that?~ *leans in to sniff Milena*
Desiree: ~Of course I’d help you. Why wouldn’t I help you out?~
Milena: *makes a panicked screeching sound and begins to flail her wings, hiding her head by covering herself as much as she can with her paws seconds later*
Zach: What is it? It’s a hybrid dragon… I’ve never seen one this young before. You’re not much older than it by the looks of things.
Kalysto: *”I’m not sure, but you might not want to. It’s not your kid afterall.”*
Desiree: ~Yes, it’s not my child, so I have no need to help you out. However, you are my friend, and I care a lot about you. So, I would help you nonetheless, and am offering my help.~ *She then frowns at Zach* Technically, you’ve seen pleanty of young hubrid dragons. Any child of mother and father is a hybrid dragon.
Xelong: *continues to sniff at Milena. He then sticks out his tongue and tries to lick the young elf-dragon’s face*
Milena: *peeks at Xelong rather timidly, then clicks her beak at him before relaxing somewhat, attempting to paw at him gently, highly curious about him*
Zach: *grins lightly* Should I take the hybrid out of the chair so they can play on the floor? *glances at Desiree* If your father saw Xel up on the table like this, he’d throw a fit. *chuckles* I know I’ve seen dragon hybrids before. Just not… *glances back at Milena* Well, like this one. *tilts his head* It’s a girl, isn’t it? It’s colour isn’t strikingly radiant like Xelong’s.
Kalysto: *”I appreciate the help, even if I don’t want the dragon.”* *sighs* Yes, she’s a girl. And at least she’s not screeching for food any more.
Desiree: ~I know that you say that now. But give her time. Perhaps, she won’t be that bad.~ *She then kneels down to pick up the staff that Kalysto had discarded earlier. Twirling it around to inspect it once more, she glances at him* ~Are you really certain that this used to belong to a healer? And why the hell is that stone glowing so often?~
Xelong: *presses his snout against Milena’s paw. He then releases a gentle purr in order to indicate that it’s safe for her to touch him*
Kalysto: *rises to his feet, reaching out to take the staff from her. He narrows his eyes as he looks it over, poking the gems slotted into the various parts of the staff, looking more like decoration than they are for enhancement* I don’t have my books with me to read some of these runes… but some confuse me. *pokes one of the ones near the hilt* This is ‘Daos’, an demonic rune, mostly used to summon and control a demon. I don’t write it very much, because I don’t try to guide demons that big. Yet… *pokes another* This one’s Thalassian… shu… ha’loh… moh… *shakes his head, confused* Something about peace and tranquility. There’s at least three languages on this thing. It’s meant for a healer. *flicks the staff back to her* A dark healer. It glows so much because there are many powerful enchantments over it. I just… don’t know why you have it now.
Milena: *lightly strokes Xelong’s snout, then begins to make a loud playful ‘eeee’ noise, waggling her tail, suddenly wiggling and struggling to get out of the chair* Rrriiii-itt rrrr–iiii!!
Desiree: A dark healer? Is there even such a thing? *sighs as she looks over the staff once more. She then shrugs* Well, the you from the currently most likely future gave it to me. So, how the hell should I know why you gave it to me. *she then frowns at Milena’s noises* I think she wants down.. I also think you should try teaching her the basics of language.
Xelong: *shakes his head at her noises. He then begins sending a psychic transmission full of songs and whatnot into her head* ~Speak like this. Much more effective. Emotions easy to figure out when mind to mind.~
Milena: *waggles her tail and begins to screech again, banging her paws on the tray in front of her, becoming aggressive and frustrated that she’s not getting what she wants right now* *”DOWN!”*
Kalysto: Maybe for protection. Or for skill enhancement. Either way… It looks like I spent a pretty damn long time finding that. Because it’s… very specialized. Very unique indeed…
Desiree: That or this thing has gone on a big temporal loop… I mean, one can say that you gave this to me now, so I’d give it to you, and you give it to me again in the future. *frowns* Probably not the case though.. He did say thing about changing the past. *she shrugs then glances at Milena* I think you should let her down.
Xelong: *hisses at the noise being made. He then leaps down onto the ground before moving to sit down next to Zach* ~Can I have a rabbit now?~
Zach: I’ll get her. Don’t worry about it. *gently picks Milena up, then sets her down onto the floor. He picks up Xelong a moment later and gives the growing dragon a subtle cuddle before setting him down on the ground next to her* *”You want rabbit? Lemme see if I can snare some. But before I go out and spend two lives… Would you be willing to share something bigger with the girl?”*
Kalysto: It’s like… that loop that doesn’t end now.
Xelong: ~As long as she doesn’t hog all the food and waits her turn… But I want a rabbit! They nice and taste yummy! Don’t want though meat stag or big lizzard. Want rabbit!~
Desiree: *Glances at the staff once more* ~Well, maybe his future no longer exists now that he’s been here. I don’t know.~ *She then sighs and frowns in thought* When’s the last time you let out Droozun?
Zach: *”Alright, alright… I’ll catch a rabbit. Just for you. I’ll hunt down a couple, so there’s no fighting. OK?”*
Kalysto: *sighs* *”Who knows… I only hope it was for a good reason.”* Droozun? Oh, he’s um… *frowns for a few moments* You’d be surprised what happened. I heard his complaint when you said he was upset that he was taken from his kind, so… I told him to go back to them. I haven’t heard from his life energy since. I imagine he’s with his pack right now.
Xelong: *broadly grins as Zach agrees. He then walks over to Milena and sniffs her once more. Soon after, he plops down right in front of her before spreading out his wings*
Desiree: Oooh… Well, I suppose that’s for the better, hm? I mean, if he doens’t want to come back to you… Then at least he’s happy, right? *She shrugs*
Milena: *nervously flares out her own wings, mimicing the movement almost identically, her slitted eyes fixated on the male dragon*
Kalysto: Oh, I don’t know what he wants to do… I told him to go do what he likes. He’s off doing his own thing. He’ll probably come back to me. I don’t see why he shouldn’t. He doesn’t hate me. He’s just having… alone… demon time? *shrugs*
Desiree: *chuckles at Kalysto’s description. She then nods* Well, I miss the silly little thing. *she then sighs and looks at the staff once more* I’m going to take a walk outside or something. Will you be fine alone with her? *she nods to Milena*
Kalysto: Go into the Nether and ask him yourself. I’m sure he knows your life force’s feeling by now. *nods at her* Go outside. I’ll watch these things. *nods at the dragons on the floor*
Milena: *inches closer to Xelong, wanting to give him an experimental lick*
Desiree: *nods at Kalysto* Yea, I might do that. *grins* At least, as long as you don’t think that I’m about to get myself eaten by a demon by doing that. *chuckling, she moves out the house. Once outside, she slips into the astral plane, using a dimensional rift to do such. Once inside, she begins to search out Droozun*
Xelong: *grins as Milena licks him. He then leans in to nuzzle her stomach*
Jenna: *narrows her eyes as she spots Desiree leave the area. She then nods in approval and mutters to herself* Now might as well be as good of a time as ever. ~Seph, you still want proof of the elf’s resolve toward Desiree, correct?~
Milena: *flops down onto her back, squirming playfully as she is nuzzled. She begins to make loud happy chirping noises, playfully batting at Xelong’s snout*
Kalysto: Oh well, at least she’s occupied now…
Droozun: *is in a deep pit within the Nether, clustering among several smaller Felhunters, all of which seem identical in shape to him, except for their size*
Jenna: *sighs at Seph’s lack of reply. She then mutters* Might as well test him anyway. *moves into the forest once more. She then begins prepping her test. Utilizing a morphing and illusion spell, she imbues a lifeless manakin with Desiree’s approximate proportions with life, making it seem to be Desiree to all senses, including sixth. She then ties it to a tree and sets a bonfire around its feet. She then sends out a beacon for Kalysto* ~Come here, elf.~
Desiree: *continues to wander deeper into the nether. She then frowns as she spots the pit. Leaning over the edge of the pit, she glances down* Hello?
Sephiroth: *is napping at his desk in the master bedroom, and doesn’t hear Jenna’s telepathic signal in his current stage of sleep*
Kalysto: *”Come here and what…?”* *frowns and glances down at the dragon* Um, take care of my daughter. *wanders outside, gritting his teeth as he sees Desiree on fire. He immediately rushes to the area, attempting to teleport her into the ocean north of the house* What the hell!? How did that happen?!
