Jennah: *sets her hand on Ramiel’s right shoulder. She then gently squeezes it* Shhh… Everything will be alright, Ramiel. He is a healer. *she looks up at the old man. She then firmly speaks out* You need not hide what you are before us. I know full well what you are, and the boy will not have problems accepting a dragon, especially a Tianlong.
*the old man begins gently laughing, slowly shaking his head* Of course, of course… no matter how the river bends and twists through the valley, it cannot truly alter what it is made of. *closes his eyes, beginning to change and morph into his natural form. A white furry lung dragon emerges from the body, shifting and changing, and soon he flicks away the robe he was wearing in his human guise, no longer needing it* You have keen eyes. But then again, I knew that. *lightly nudges Ramiel with his snout, sniffing him hard* Oh, terrible. Just terrible. He smells all over with a sickness that I do not know of very well.
Ramiel: *whimpers in protest* What does that mean…? Am I going to die..?
Jennah: *deeply frowns at the dragon’s words* “That you do not know of very well”? So, you know something of it? *deeply sighs* I’d like to have my son treated without having him suffer unduly. *narrows her eyes* And I do mean without him suffering.
*the dragon makes a melodic soothing hum, trying to gently penetrate both Jennah and Ramiel’s mind with it, wanting them both to stay calm* It’s not something you can cure. It’s a part of him – like an arm, or a leg. But this thing… you cannot see it. *points to Ramiel’s head* It resides here. It smells like a sickness… but I don’t think it will make him ill. Well, it might, if it grows rampant and takes over. I’ve only seen this once before.
Ramiel: *retreats to Jennah for comfort and security, hugging onto her, trying to bury his face in her torso*
Jennah: *shakes her head, not wanting to listen to the humming noise. She then frowns at the dragon’s words* So, he will not be able to recover at all? The only thing that can possibly happen is that he’d get worse? *she shakes her head. She also reaches down to gently massage the top of Ramiel’s head* I want to relieve my son’s suffering.
*the dragon continues to hum in thought* It is kind of like another personality. But not. It feels physical. But it is not. It is another entity, yet it is not. I would not personally toy with it. The boy will be fine if he is strong willed and keeps it at bay. He is only suffering because he is growing. *gently chuckles* Growing pains as it were. Do not fear – teach him to be strong in mind and body and he will conquer his demon. In time, he could even use it to his advantage.
Ramiel: A… a demon…??
Jennah: *Groans at the news* Is there anything at all that I can do to relieve the symptoms of this condition. I understand that he can’t be cured… but still.. *Glances down at Ramiel* He isn’t being literal. You do not have a demon stewing inside of you. If it were so simple, he’d excise it.
*the dragon lowers his head* There’s not much you can do to silence it. You cannot silence one’s inner powers any more than you can silence the wind howling through the trees. But you can place objects in the way to harness that power. And in his case…. *gently touches Ramiel’s nose with a clawed paw-finger* Some training would be in order.
Jennah: *softly sighs then shakes her head* Unfortunatley, I do not know how to train the boy… He’s basically the first of his kind. Unless, of course, with your knowledge and wisdom, you know of someone suitable to give the boy the required training..
*the dragon scratches his furry chin in thought, then shakes his head* You could train him yourself… if you knew and understood his power. Do you? Are you sure that it is not much different to your own? *grins* Or maybe it’s like another one close to you?
Jennah: *shakes her head* My powers… Who says that even I fully comprehend him. And the other like him… He’s a child himself. Both of them are working on teaching themselves. Sephiroth just.. he’s bold and unafraid of anything.
*the dragon shakes his head* Then this one must be like the other. If you are to learn anything, then you must be bold and fearless. *leans back on his back paws, rising into the air again* His powers will only grow as he does. He must not be afraid of them – or of any changes that happen to him along the way. Embrace change.
Jennah: *sighs* I do not know if such can be taught to this boy with such ease… I shall discuss these things with his teachers. Perhaps they will be able to assist the two boys in learning more than what I can..
*the dragon slowly nods, humming once more* Teachers… might not be able to understand him. If they can understand it, then I wish them the best of luck. *he leans back and begins to ponder* I can also make a proposal to you… *moves a paw over Ramiel’s head* I can quieten his mind and it’s ‘errors’ until he is ready. If you are willing.
Jenna: His teachers are of the gold clan of dragons that reside in the Central Americas.. They might be able to understand. *thinks for a moment as the dragon makes his proposal* If you do this action and I find that the boy can be taught by his teachers, would he still be teachable?
*the dragon shakes his head* Once the parts of his mind have been closed off, they will remain closed. You can still teach him about them, but he will learn nothing practical, for he will have nothing in his mind to use and apply to the lessons.
Jennah: *bites her bottom lip. She then sighs and shakes her head* I cannot take such an option just right now then… If I did… *Shakes her head* Let me speak to those that will be about him first. I must know that he can or can’t be trained before letting him to be locked away from his potential. I hope that you can understand.
*the dragon finally moves back, giving Jennah a rather accepting nod* Things can go via the other route… you can move into the depths of his mind and pull out his inner forces, thus making him more aware of them. It will be overwhelming at first, but then once they are normalized again, he would have far more control over them because he is used to so much more.
Ramiel: *whimpers and hugs onto Jennah, not liking any of this talk*
Jennah: *nods* I shall try my best. If nothing pans out, then I shall bring the boy back to you. Thank you once more for your help. I am grateful to you. *She gives the dragon a short bow. However, she keeps her head up, not wanting to submit fully to the dragon*
*the dragon grins toothily at Jennah’s bow, then shifts his form back into that of a frail looking Chinese monk. He sits back down on his stool, then bows his head* I hope it will work out for you. I wish you the best of luck and fortune on your journeys ahead.
Jennah: Yea.. whatever. *she waves in a dismissive manner, just wanting to leave now. She then reaches over to pick up Rameil. She grunts as she picks him up, for he’s edging on the limit of what she can carry. She then heads out of the temple* We’re going home now, boy.
Ramiel: *whimpers* Good… I don’t want to stick around. I don’t like being talked about like that… is there really a demon inside of me…? Is that what’s making me sick..? *whimpers louder, afraid of the idea* How do you get it out? Not even the dragon guy knew.
Jennah: *She shakes her head* No, it’s not a demon in the literal since of the word. *softly sighs* Let’s get home. Then I’ll explain everything to both you and your brother. Ok? *she pats Ramiel’s back. She then concentrates. Soon enough, she manages to cast a teleportation spell that would bring her to the area just outside the base. Once she reappears, she sets Ramiel down on the ground*
Ramiel: *clings onto Jennah for the entire duration of the trip, clinging to her arm needily. He seems rather reluctant to let go when she sets him down on the ground, and moves over to hug her leg*
