Sephiroth: *once free of the manipulation spell he immediately begins to cough loudly, screwing up his face in protest to the taste. He immediately gets to his feet and moves into the bathroom to get a drink of water to wash out the horrid taste in his mouth*
Jenna: *shakes her head at him* The taste isn’t that bad, Seph. Anyway, it will help you feel better. I promise you of that much. *sets the bowl to the side of the bed. Then, she lies down on the bed and patiently waits for Seph to return*
Sephiroth: *growls as he steps out of the bathroom again, coughing soon after because the growling causes his throat to hurt. He then sits down on the bed, his back to Jenna, annoyed at her*
Jenna: *sighs at Seph’s actions. She then scoots closer to him. Soon enough, she begins to gently massage his back. As she gives him a massage, she softly hums*
Sephiroth: *continues to growl at her, annoyed for the time being. However, he soon calms down and turns towards her, sighing* There’s no need to do that, Jen. *nudges her* How’s the infant? I hope she doesn’t get sick too, that is the last thing we need right now.
Jenna: *glances over at Desiree* She’s sleeping and hugging onto her dragon, Seph. Aside from the fact that I doubt that toy will last long at this rate, I think everything is perfectly fine there. *turns her attention back down to him. She then leans in to gently kiss him* I’m sorry that I had to force you.
Sephiroth: *seems concerned at Jenna’s news that the toy won’t last long* You know restorative spells, don’t you? It’s just a piece of cloth, I don’t suppose it would be hard to replace. *slowly sits up, coughing* I’d have to make a portal and go back to the planet to find the store that was selling them…
Jenna: *groans then moves to shove Sephiroth back down onto the bed. However, she is gentle about the shoving* Seph, lay back down. I did not mean that it is about to fall apart right now. I just meant that she really likes it, Seph. And my “not long” meant a few months, maybe a year at most. Not “it will only last a day or two more”.. *Shakes her head at him* Just rest.
Sephiroth: *frowns* We’d better look for a replacement soon… If that thing breaks after she becomes very attached to it, there’s going to be hell to pay. *lies back down again, but then begins to cough, quickly covering his mouth* *”You can do restorative spells, correct? You did one on yourself. Surely a spell on a piece of sewn cloth would be easier.”*
Jenna: *sighs at Seph* I don’t really know many spells that repair things like that, Seph. It doesn’t really matter at the moment, Seph. So far, that toy is fine. *shrugs* Just rest, ok? We can worry about replacing or repairing it when the time comes, Seph. *mutters* I shouldn’t have said anything..
Sephiroth: *sighs, slowly nodding his head* Though I’m sure there’s a magic that does that… I’ll have to go reading up on it later. Or learn how to do patch-jobs. *closes his eyes, mumbling* That thing is really going to get trashed…
Jenna: *blinks then looks up at the ceiling in thought. Soon enough, a large smile forms on her lips* Hm… The Great Sephiroth… sewing. *softly chuckles at the mental image. She then shakes her head* Get some more sleep, Seph. You need to get better.
Sephiroth: What’s wrong with that… *mumbles* Picture me naked or sitting on the toilet if the imagery of sewing doesn’t amuse you enough… *yawns and tries to get comfortable again, rolling onto his side. He begins to cough all over again, covering his mouth, screwing his face up in discomfort* Hrmph..
Jenna: Hmmm? Why should the image of you being naked be amusing to me? You should know full well enough by now that I love every inch of you when you’re nude. *sighs at his coughing* Go to sleep, Seph.
Sephiroth: I’m not really tired to tell you the truth… after you crammed those horrid-tasting herbs down my throat, I haven’t been feeling very well, either. *mumbles* All I really want to do is lie here and do nothing. *scowls* But I’ve slept too much already…
Jenna: *rolls her eyes at Sephiroth* I know that you aren’t feeling well. That is why I made the herbs in the first place, Seph. Just give them time. They have worked quite effectively with any time that I’ve been sick. *crosses her arms* And you need to rest more in order to recover your health.
Sephiroth: I know why you made them, I just want to comment again that they tasted utterly disgusting. *mumbles* I’ve been asleep for too long as it is. I’m really not tired at all – trust me. *closes his eyes, seeming content to lie there for the time being* At least I’m warm, and it’s quiet. That’s really all I could ask for right now. If it gets loud, I would probably end up with a headache…
Jenna: *nods at Sephiroth’s statements* I’ll try to keep Desiree from crying, Seph. *begins to massage the back of his head with her left hand* I want you to get better as soon as possible.. *deeply frowns* Though, there is one thing that we’ll need to do once you recover… You’ll hate it.
Sephiroth: It can’t be any worse than being locked in a solitary confinement cage with the front wall for a one-way looking glass observation window. *seems very content as Jenna massages his scalp, purring gently* That feels good…
Jenna: *shakes her head* You should know that I’d never do that to you, Seph. However, this incident is proving that you are vulnerable to the diseases here on Earth.. So, well, Desiree was going to get them anyway, but you will need vaccinations as well. That means needles.
Sephiroth: *makes a loud protesting snarl, turning his head towards Jenna so he can glare hard at her* No… *turns his head away again and begins to cough* *”I will need no such thing. The illness has occured due to a lack of sleep. My defenses are lacking. Once they are fine again, I will need no medical assistance.”*
Jenna: *shakes her head at Seph* You are still vulnerable, Seph. *moves her hand to stroke the side of his neck* For me, please, just do this. I’d rather not worry about you. Anyway, it’d only be a few seconds. It won’t be anything like what Hojo did to you.
Sephiroth: *scowls* I don’t need to be vaccinated like a dog… I told you why I got sick. *yawns* Once I… *shifts about some more to get comfortable* Once I recover, it’s not going to happen again, let me assure you. *relaxes further as Jenna continues to stroke the side of his head, then begins to drift off to sleep again*
Jenna: *Groans at Sephiroth* It’s not a dog-only thing, Seph… *Shakes her head. She then sighs and allows him to drift to sleep. Soon enough, she gets off the bed and begins to feed Desiree*
