Jenna: *wakes up a few hours after Sephiroth goes to sleep. She yawns and looks around, trying to figure out where Sephiroth is. Eventually, she moves into his library. Allowing herself a small smile as she spots Sephiroth with Desiree sleeping in his lap, she walks over to his side and gently rubs his right cheek*
Sephiroth: *doesn’t seem to react when Jenna touches his cheek, and continues to sleep on. By now, his sickness has set in more than before, and his skin may feel a little warm to the touch*
Jenna: *blinks, not expecting his skin to feel so warm. She then moves her hand over to his forehead and tests the feel there*
Sephiroth: *his forehead is also mildly warmer than usual. However, it doesn’t seem to be affecting him right now and he continues to sleep as if nothing out of the ordinary is happening at all*
Jenna: *shakes her head then mutters* When you get well, you’re getting vaccinated, Seph. *She then reaches down to gently pick up Desiree. The girl whimpers slightly, but doesn’t put up much of a protest. Soon enough, Jenna sets Desiree down into her crib*
Sephiroth: *doesn’t seem to notice what’s going on and continues to sleep peacefully. Once Desiree is gone from his arms, he curls up in the chair, looking uncomfortable*
Jenna: *As soon as Desiree is comfortable in her crib, she returns to Seph. She sets her hands on her hips as she looks down at him* This is becoming a regular event.. *groans. She then shifts into her hybrid form so that she can pick him up. Then, she tries to move him to be the bed without waking him*
Sephiroth: *groans slightly as he’s moved, then begins to cough once his head is down. However, he doesn’t wake up, and seems more comfortable once he’s set down on the bed*
Jenna: *gently sets Sephiroth down onto the bed. She then shifts back to her natural form before she begins to remove his clothing. Soon enough, she’d toss his clothes to the side. Then, she slides up to his side and begins to gently stroke his cheek. As she does this, she gently sings a celtic lullaby to him*
Sephiroth: *begins to weakly purr in response to her, but doesn’t wake up for now. He moves to cuddle up against her once she’s at his side, then mumbles* … you’re warm, mother… *continues to purr, increasing in volume*
Sephiroth: *continues to purr, offering no answer. He continues to peacefully sleep on, quiet now, apart from the occaisonal cough or groan*
Jenna: *shakes her head at him. However, she leaves him be to rest for the rest of the day. So, until Seph recovers from his illness or is feeling well enough to do much more than sleep, she takes care of all of Desiree’s needs without bothering to wake Seph at all*
Sephiroth: *sleeps peacefully for the next five to seven hours, waking up again with considerable discomfort. He groans slightly and sits up, rubbing at his head* Damn it… *looks around the floor for some boxer shorts, then picks them up and places them on, stumbling out of bed and into the bathroom so he can get a drink of water*
Jenna: *is currently in the kitchen. She has gathered a number of herbs that she’s known to help with illnesses since she was small. So, for now, she is smashing the herbs into a fine powder. She then mixes them in with water before heading downstairs*
Sephiroth: *remains in the bathroom for a few minutes as he coughs, washing his hands off afterwards. He steps back out into the bedroom, then begins to tidy up the bed so he can lie in it again*
Jenna: *spots Sephiroth as she walks into the bedroom. She then walks over to his side, not minding that he’s straightening up the bed. Then, she tries to offer the bowl of herb-concentrated liquids to Sephiroth* Here, drink this, Seph. It’ll make you feel better.
Sephiroth: *glances back at Jenna and her bowl of herbs. He makes a rather disinterested noise and rolls onto his other side, his back facing Jenna and the bowl*
Jenna: *deeply frowns at him* Seph, please drink this. It took a lot of work for me to gather this then prepare it. *sits down next to him* It will help make you feel better, Seph. I promise.
Sephiroth: *makes an unintelligible grunt, then shakes his head, not seeming to want to budge now* *”No.”* *folds his arms, behaving much like a stubborn spoiled child at this current point in time*
Jenna: *groans at Seph’s behavior. She then nudges him once more* Seph, please. This is for your own good. Don’t make me force you to drink it. I really don’t want to stoop to such levels, but if I have to, I will.
Sephiroth: *pulls the covers over his head, trying to express that he’s really not interested. He makes a sharp grunt and curls up, making a muffled cough* *”I really don’t need anything. I’ll be alright.”*
Jenna: *narrows her eyes at Sephiroth. She then snorts and begins to cast a spell to temporarily manipulate him* Seph, drink this. It took me a long time to prepare it for you.
Sephiroth: *initially protests, trying to struggle away from her. He soon gives in though, and is sitting up and drinking the herb-filled beverage Jenna has prepared for him, drinking it all*
