Sephiroth: *hears the slamming noise downstairs, and Desiree’s crying. He sighs and gets to his feet again, moving down the stairs to pick Desiree up and places her over his shoulder, then opens the spring door, peering inside* Do you still want to talk?
Jenna: *is sitting on the heated rock again. She just growls in irritation and doesn’t even bother to face Sephiroth, let alone respond to her. It should be clear to anyone with half a brain that she is immensely angry*
Sephiroth: *carries Desiree with him into the room, then moves to stand behind Jenna, sighing* Look, I want to resolve this. Do you want to, or do you want us to just keep dragging this out?
Sephiroth: *grunts sharply at her* Fine. *moves out of the spring again, then heads up the stairs, carrying Desiree with him. He heads back into the kitchen and shuts the door, then keeps her over his shoulder as he begins preparing something to eat*
Desiree: *continues to loudly cry, still troubled by the way that Jenna was acting earlier. She’d send out psychic impressions that indicate that she’s scared*
Sephiroth: *sighs and turns the stove off, sitting down so he can set Desiree in his lap, hugging onto her, trying to telepathically transmit ‘calm’ to her mind* I don’t know what to do now… *sighs and turns his attention to the door, seeming troubled and lost on what to do with the situation*
Desiree: *Whimpers and continues to cry. Her psychic signals might also give indications of the “scary” growling noise that she heard from Jenna*
Sephiroth: *just continues to sit there and attempt to calm Desiree down, patting her back* It’s fine now, stop it. *sighs tiredly, then tries to lean back in the chair and set Desiree down on his chest* Shh. *pats her back* There’s no yelling and growling now, is there?
Desiree: *Slowly begins to calm down. However, she is still quite scared and very alert at the moment*
Sephiroth: *sighs at Desiree’s behaviour, then begins attempting to sing to her. At first the tune is just a hum, then he begins to sing one of the various songs he remembers from the radio back when he was a SOLDIER-in-training* Heh… *seems amused* *”You should be calm, now… I should probably be the scared one at this current point in time.”*
Desiree: *looks up at Sephiroth, not fully understanding Sephiroth’s words. She then curls up and hugs onto him*
Sephiroth: *continues to sit there and pat her back, gently singing to her. When he reaches the end of the song, he frowns and begins again, glad of the fact he’s doing so quietly and the door is closed. He reaches up to place his hand on the back of Desiree’s head, gently rubbing it, beginning to purr at her in an attempt to calm her down further*
Desiree: *finally fully becomes tired out. She yawns then closes her eyes. Within minutes, she’d be fully asleep*
Sephiroth: *holds Desiree on his torso, keeping her in position with one arm. He sighs and remains seated there for a while, pondering the situation in full. He remains there for some time, not in the least bit content*
Jenna: *eventually leaves the bathing room. She then walks into the armory and begins to rifle through the various weapons there. Soon enough, she begins to throw the ones that she wants into a pile near the door. Her activity is likely to make quite a lot of noise*
Sephiroth: *hears the noises and sighs, gently moving to his feet. He carries Desiree with him as he heads for the armory, glancing in the doorway at Jenna. He makes a soft grunt at her, then glances at the pile of weapons* What are you up to in here?
Jenna: *glances at Sephiroth for a short moment. She then snorts and returns to rifling through the weapons* Nothing that you’d care about.
Sephiroth: Now what makes you say that? Just because we had a rather heated disagreement, it doesn’t mean that I didn’t stop caring. *frowns*
Jenna: Hmph, why don’t you look up that word in a dictionary as well, Seph. I’m certain that “caring” has no real meaning to you. *grabs a shot-gun and begins testing it to see if it still works properly*
Sephiroth: *promptly backs away from the door as Jenna picks up the shotgun, cradling Desiree close to his chest, moving into the hallway* *”I’m sorry we had this heated disagreement. I still care enough to want to resolve it.”*
Jenna: *scowls at Sephiroth’s actions* I’m not going to attack you, idiot. *snorts then tosses the shotgun to the side, determining that it doesn’t work to her preferences anymore*
Sephiroth: *frowns and moves to stand in the doorway again* Well, I’m here now. What do you want to do?
