Desiree: *Groans then moves closer to Kalysto* Please, take him for a minute, Kalysto. We need to get him some clothes. At the very least, we need to do that much.. *she glances down* We also probably need to get dressed ourselves.. Bath robes don’t usually constitute daily attire… *She shakes her head then tries to shove Rhyderi into Kalysto’s arms*
Kalysto: Bath robe doesn’t constitute daily attire? Heh. Obviously you’ve never been to any orgies. *smirks as he takes Rhyderi and begins to pull on his ear, thus making the boy scream and punch him instead*
Desiree: *Groans at Kalysto as the elf begins to pull on his brother’s ear* Kalysto, behave yourself! I don’t want to splint up yet another ear… *She looks down at Rhyderi* Please, do believe me when I tell you that the guy holding you is indeed Kalysto. Now, behave for your brother… both of you. *she then rushes out of the room and heads over to Zach’s room, for she hopes her brother still has some old clothes left in his closet*
Kalysto: That’s right. You’re going to think I’m crazy, but I’m your brother. A spell was placed on you and now you have the mind of a child. And the body of one. *sets the boy down on the ground, patting his head* Just stay put. The human will bring clothes for you.
Desiree: *continues to dig through Zach’s clothes. Eventually, she finds a shirt and pair of pants that look like they’d fit the elf. She holds them up for a second to inspect them then mutters* Probably will be baggy.. Oh well. *shrugging to herself, she rushes back to the bathing room. She then hands over the clothing to Rhyderi* Here, please put these on.
Rhyderi: No…. *backs up from Desiree, hiding behind Kalysto’s leg*
Kalysto: No means yes. Grab him and yank them on him. *smirks and plucks up the smaller elf and holds him out for Desiree to clothe* What are you going to do with him anyway? We can’t return him to his regular size, can we? I don’t know what to do.
Desiree: *groans at Rhyderi. She then rolls her eyes and grabs the clothes as soon as Kalysto holds the boy up. Without further ado, she forces the clothes onto the boy* I don’t know… I certainly don’t have any power like this. You’ve seen my magic. I tend to work best in just… you know, talking to spirits… Making things look one way but not be real… Not actually distort reality. And you.. You burn things.
Kalysto: I burn things? That’s a rather simplistic way of putting it. I’ll have you know I also use the energies of the shadow to melt people’s insides. *sets Rhyderi down and folds his arms again, making a loud annoyed ‘harumph’*
Rhyderi: I want to go home….
Desiree: Still a form of burning things… *she glances down at Rhyderi once more then at Jenna* There’s only one person who is likely to be able to undo this… Looks like your big brother is stuck being your little brother for another five to six months… Ain’t no way we can get her to cooperate with her mind the way it is at the moment. Unless- Can that stupid troll do a single thing?
Kalysto: I don’t think the old man would be able to dispel something like this… you shouldn’t ask him to either. He’s a pacifist healer, not some kind of voodoo medicine man. If you mention this to him, he’s more likely to ask how I’m involved… *scowls*
Desiree: Fine, I won’t ask him. However, I think he’s going to figure out something is up. *She nods toward Rhyderi* Not many tiny elves with red hair running around here. At all. *she sighs then moves over to Jenna. She then slowly picks up the woman, grunting in irritation because the wings are still out. She then slowly carries Jenna back to the bed* Father’s bound to be back home like… now…
Kalysto: Right… *moves away from the room, returning to his own room to dry off properly and get changed into some more decent clothing* *”I didn’t see him at all though. How do you know he’s coming back?”*
Desiree: ~I’m just guessing with how long he’s been gone. He has to be coming back soon.~ *she shakes her head* ~I mean, getting glasses can’t take hours.~ *she finishes tucking Jenna into bed, though she has no idea what to do with the wings. She then wanders over to the hot springs and begins gathering the discarded clothing from herself, Kalysto, and Rhyderi. Once she’s gathered up the articles of clothing, she brings them up to the laundry room*
Kalysto: So what do you want me to do with the brat in the meantime? *glances down at Rhyderi and pokes him in the shoulder* Can’t stay around here all day. We have to do something with him, you know.
Rhyderi: I still want to go home… *cringes* Where’s my mother…?
Desiree: *finishes putting the clothing in the washer. She then holds up Rhyderi’s plate armoring and frowns* Right… *shrugging, she just tosses it to the side of the room* ~Well, you have two choices, watch over him yourself or have the troll watch him. Either way, I don’t think he’s ready to help himself.~
Kalysto: *”There’s another option. Which is leaving him outside to fend for himself. He gets to show his independance, and we get to be rid of him. Everybody wins.”* *smirks* *”Fine, I’ll leave him with the troll. What’s the worst that could happen?”* *picks Rhyderi up and carries him upstairs*
Sephiroth: *returns back to the base with Zach, who is wearing a new pair of glasses and looking rather unhappy about it. He heads down the stairs to check up on Jenna, seeming content when he notices that she is still resting* *”Thank you for watching over your mother, Desiree. I trust it was without incident?”*
Desiree: *stiffens slightly as Sephiroth contacts her. She then frowns* ~Umm… yea… no real incident… Yea.~ *she cringes a bit and hopes that Sephiroth doesn’t notice the energies still lingering around the bathing room nor the fact that Jenna’s wings are out* ~Glad you got Zach some help..~ *she then dashes out of the laundry room and heads up to catch up to Kalysto* Will the troll take him?
Sephiroth: *”Indeed. Now would you like to tell me what actually happened, or are you going to keep trying to fill me with a sense of assurance?”* *
Kalysto: Hey, don’t look at me, I don’t know the answer to that. All I can do is drag him up there and ask him. *pokes Rhyderi in the side as he tries to persuade him to move up the stairs further* Come on. Resisting is only going to make this take more time you know.
Rhyderi: No! I still want to go home!
Desiree: ~What do you mean father? Nothing happened…~ *she finally catches up to Kalysto. She then frowns up at him* Well, my father is definitely back… In case you’re wondering, I put your dress thingy in the wash. So, it should be clean in a few hours. *she then looks down at Rhyderi* Umm… I don’t think that’s going to happen.
Rhyderi: But… but… *begins to cry* I want my mother…
Kalysto: *fire flickers in his eyes for a brief moment as his ears tense high on his head* *”OK, stop it. Idiot. It’s a robe – robe. ROBE. Stop calling it a dress! How uneducated do you want to sound anyway!?”* *mutters* Ignorant humans… *glares at the smaller elf* You can’t go home. Your mother is dead. You’re also really supposed to be an adult, but some magic trickery has turned you into a kid.
Desiree: *softly sighs* ~Ok, fine, robe… It’s still being cleaned.~ *she glances down at Rhyderi then softly sighs at him* Hey, settle down and listen to your brother.. *she glances back down the stairs, still wondering if Sephiroth will try to chase after he checks the area down there* We should hurry and get him to the Troll..
Rhyderi: My mother is… dead…?! *bursts out into a storm of tears and raises his head, wailing very loudly, quite upset now*
Kalysto: Oh, now look what you’ve gone and done. Shame on you, Desiree. *picks Rhyderi up* He doesn’t like trolls, don’t you know anything? Sheesh.
Desiree: What?? *she frowns at Kalysto* I told him to listen to you. You’re the one who actually informed him that your mother is dead. Hrmph… *she continues looking down the stairs* Father did ask me what really happened… We should get moving already. *she nudges Kalysto*
Kalysto: We already are moving already. *shoves her back with one free hand while holding his crying ‘elder’ brother in the other* Can’t you even pay attention for ten seconds? Sheesh. *shakes his head and moves for the stairs, heading for Zulmire’s location*
Sephiroth: *”You know, eventually you’re going to tell me what happened.”*
Desiree: *Sighs as she’s shoved back then slowly nods* Yea.. you’re right.. I’m just worried. *she shakes her head* You’ve seen what my father’s temper is like. *she then cringes again as Sephiroth contacts her* ~I already told you, nothing happened. Absolutely nothing. She’s perfectly unharmed. I’m perfectly fine. Nothing happened.~
